Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi konsep-konsep matematika yang terdapat dalam motif tenun lawo Mbuli Lio yang dihasilkan oleh penenun Mbuli. Meskipun berupa hasil dialog dan observasi didapati prinsip-prinsip geometri seperti simetri, trnsformasi, refleksi dan pengulangan. Disamping itu juga didapat konsep-konsep matematika dalam motif lawo Mbuli Lio seperti garis lurus, garis lengkung, lingkaran dan bangun polygon seperti segitiga, segiempat, bentuk binatang, piramida dan lain-lain. Penting bagi kita terutama guru di sekolah untuk mempelajari dan mengajarkannya kepada siswa untuk dijadikan sumber dalam pembelajaran konstekstual disamping itu juga siswa memperoleh wawasan baru tentang pengetahuan matematika yang pada hakekatnya memiliki wajah yang beragam, bukan hanya matematika formal di sekolah, sehingga pebelajaran matematrika dapat dimulai dari suatu kehidupan nyata yang dialami oleh siswa secara langsung.

Mathematics as a field of study often complained of the difficult and tedious because they containnumbers and formulas in pembelajaranya thus leads to lower student achievement. Tjuan of this study was todescribe the solution in addressing the lack of achievement of learning mathematics with an intuitive way ofthinking. The method used is qualitative descriptive method to describe solutions that silakukan intuitive thinkingsubject. The low mathematics achievement by Soedjadi (2006) that can be sourced from within the students andoutside students. One important factor to achieve the goal of education is the thought process that made the studentsduring the learning of mathematics in progress. The thought process that used one of them is to think intuitively.Intuitive thinking is a cognitive process that led to the idea as a strategy for making decisions resulting inspontaneous answers in solving problems. Spontaneous answer is both written and oral expression, resulting personof solving math problems without using the analytic way of thinking.

This study aims to develop instruments pedagogical competence and personalcompetence to assess the performances of mathematics teachers of junior high schools (JHSs)in Ende city. The developed assessment instruments Assessment instrument is in the form of aquestionnaire. This was a research and development study employing the qualitative andquantitative approaches. The research subjects were students of JHSs in Ende city with a totalof 60 students in tryout I (small-scale tryout) and tryout II (large-scale tryout) with a total of150 students. The content validity of the instrument was assessed through expert judgmentand the construct validity through the factor analysis. The determination of the assessmentinstrument reliability coefficients was made by using Cronbach’s Alpha. The results of thestudy are as follows. 1) Instrument mathematics teacher pedagogical competence generateddeclared valid and reliable; 2) Instrument personal competence generated math teachersdeclared valid and reliable; 3) The results of the factor analysis showed that of the 20variables / items analyzed in pedagogical formed into six groups / major factor with varianceof 57.078%; 4) The results of the factor analysis showed that of the 10 variables / items areanalyzed on the competence of personality is formed into three groups / major factor withvariance of 53.354%

This research was aimed to describe the effectiveness of the use of aids in mathematics instruction in SMP, with: 1) compare the mathematics learning achievement of students who were taught using real aids with that of students who were taught using half-real aids.; 2) compare the mathematics learning mastery of the students from both schools categories. This research is a quasi-experiment with pretest-postest design with non-equivalent groups. This research used two experiment groups and two control groups. Population of this research was fifth grade students of state SMP in Detusoko. Stratified random sampling technique was used to select the sample. From the population, the researcher took two schools and every school consisted of two classes as a sample. The total of the sample are 100 people. Data were collected using test. The test were tried out to two groups of students. To compare the mathematics learning achievement of students, data were analyzed by descriptive statistic and inferential statistic by analysis of covariant (? =0.05) and was continued with Tukey-Kramer test (? =0.05), while to compare the mathematics learning mastery of the students, data were analyzed by Chi-Square test. The result of this research showed that: 1) from both schools categories the mathematics learning achievement of students who were taught using real aids is higher than that of students taught using half-real aids; 2) the mathematics learning mastery of high category school students who were taught using real aids is higher than that of high category school students who were taught using half-real aids; 3) the mathematics learning mastery of low category school students who were taught using real aids is not higher than that of low category school students who were taught using half-real aids; 4) from both schools categories the students who were taught using real aids, reach the mathematics learning mastery level, while the students who were taught using half-real aids, do not reach the learning mastery level.

This study aimed to describe the thought process student teachers in the filing of post-type math problem posing solution in terms of learning styles. Filing post about the type of solution posing as students to modify the conditions of interest or questions that have been completed to generate new problems. While the learning styles that students who have learning styles are visual, auditory and kinesthetic(V-A-K) This study used a qualitative approach and data collection techniques done with the learning styles test, test the submission of questions and interviews. This study used three students of University Mathematics Education FKIP Flores who have learning styles are visual, auditory and kinesthetic. The data analysis is done by step - step, namely the reduction of data, presenting data and draw conclusions. As for memdapatkan valid research data, this study used triangulation of time.Subjects who have a visual learningstyle, can receive information by writing the note and asked on the matter and establish the mathematical model of any information contained on the matter. Subjects in processing information that could link the information given to the concept stored in memory that is the subject says the concept uses existing linear program and derivative material. In finding a way in solving strategies, subject to form models / equations to obtain a set tariff in order to gain the maximum profit. Subject to draw conclusions made about the same as the submission of test questions but changed the context of the information and asked different. Subjects who have auditory learning style, in receiving information by writing and calculating the net profits of each set price and subsequent counting using excel. Subject to process information that is subject may connect the information given to the concept stored in memory that is the subject says the concept uses existing linear program in calculating gains and losses.

The purpose of this research is to describe the steps Learning Cycle 5E by using manipulatve media that can explain quadrangle for students of class VII SMPK Frateran Ndao Ende. This research used a descriptive-qualitative approach. The subjects were students of class VII-4 SMPK Frateran Ndao Ende. Research subjects are given the test relating to the understanding and interviewed with Learning Cycle 5E aided manipulative media to can explain quadrangle..The results showed that the application of Learning Cycle 5E can explain quadrangle assisted manipulative media. This can be demonstrated by an increase in the percentage activity teachers of 82% for 86,5%, activity students of 78,3% for 84,8%, and comprehension test scores of students of class VII-4 of 71% for 87,1%.

This study aims to produce chemistry learning materials of cooperative learning model TAI type that is improve to increase chemistry learning achievement of high school students at grade XI. Development of learning materials used 4-D model and tested in grade XI SMAKFrateran Surabaya second semester academic year 2015/2016 with one -group pretest-posttest design. Collecting data used observation, validation, questionnaires and tests. The data were analyzed through quantitative descriptive. The results showed that learning materials that was developed in valid and reliable category. The percentage of lesson plan feasibility beetween 98,41% - 99,49% in good category. The student learning achievement in knowleage and practical skills compentence reached completeness, whereas attitudes compentence growing during learning process. Students’ learning achievement in knowleage compentence analyzed with N-gain. The increase of N-gain in high category. Student gave positive / high response on learning that implemented by teacher. Grounded on the result date can it concluded that chemistry learning materials of cooperative learning model TAI type that is unsuitable to increase chemistry learning achievement.

Learning model that prioritizes activity of students is one type of cooperative learning model of NHT. The type of research used in this study is an experimental research that begins by designing learning tools such as lesson plan, student worksheets and research instruments such us achievement test. Source of data in this study were obtained from tests of student learning outcomes in the form of pretest and posttest. The research approach used is a quantitative approach. The analysis technique used is the analysis of covariance. The results showed that the learning device that is generated for the material rules of sines and cosines corresponding syntax NTH type cooperative learning in this study rate good (to qualify the validity, reliability and sensitivity) of the results of statistical analysis of covariance obtained F count = 9,618182 and F table = 4,11 with numerator degrees of freedom = 1 and degrees of freedom denominator = 37. This case shows that the NHT type cooperative learning can improve learning outcomes math materials sines and cosines rule in grade X SMA Negeri 1 Ende of the scool year 2016/2016.

Based on observations in Private School Alsiora Ende in general there are many teachers apply learning that conventional. This resulted in low student learning, is therefore required capabilities as pengelolah classroom teachers to implement creative teaching methods to encourage students' interest in learning mathematics. One is the type cooperative learning of Jigsaw.This type of research is an experimental research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all students of class X SMA Private Alsiora as many as 125 students and sample in this research is class X3 as many as 20 students. The instrument used is a matter of describing the test as many as three items and analytical techniques used is the technique of analysis of covariance with product moment correlation formula.The results of the preparation of the learning is done produced good learning tools for meeting the requirements of validity, reliability and sensitivity. Learning tools include: Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), Student Worksheet (LKS), and test results for Learning (THB). Analysis of the results of Covariance (Anacova) provide significant value (F-count> F-table). This shows JIGSAW cooperative learning can improve learning outcomes mathematical logic mathematics especially the material in class X 2nd half Alsiora Ende Private High School Academic Year 2015/2016
