Abstract

The world of telecommunications is growing rapidly so that cellular operator providers are trying to upgrade their networks to meet the needs of their customers with good quality. One effort that can be done is to build a new Base Transceiver Station (BTS). The aim of this research is to create a detection tool capable of detecting objects at a certain height below the line of sight (LoS) line of communication using the laser technology that has been developed. Topographic surveys and building planning are very important and required before building a BTS with an LOS. In this study, the Laser distance meter (rangefinder model) can measure the farthest distance up to 135 meters due to the limited area used. Experiments were applied to several objects to test the ability of the laser used and obtained the maximum distance of the TS832 transmission media reaching 70.7 meters.

Abstract

FM radio broadcasting is a wireless communication system. Transmission in the frequency 88-108 MHz requires a bandpass filter to avoid interference with frequencies adjacent to the radio transmitter. The type of filter that has a fairly good performance is the Chebyshev filter with a fairly high level of steepness. However, to get a high level of steepness, a fairly large element value is required. So, in this study adding the m-derived series to give a steeper filter response without adding more element values.The purpose of this thesis is to determine the effect of adding an m-derived section to the chebyshev bandpass filter. The parameters tested are passband bandwidth, stopband bandwidth, shape factor, insertion loss, roll off, and power attenuation when used on the transmitter.Based on the measurements that have been made, it can be seen that the bandpass filter without m-derived has a maximum insertion loss value of 7 dB and a minimum insertion loss of 9 dB, while the bandpass filter with m-derived is 11 dB and 13. In the bandpass filter without m-derived and m-derived have a passband bandwidth of 27 MHz and 29 MHz and a stopband bandwidth of 70 MHz and 50 MHz. So that the bandpass filter without derived and m-derived has a shape factor value of 2.59 and 1.72. In the implementation using the transmitter, the bandpass filter without m-derived has a power attenuation of 2.53 dB while the m-derived bandpass filter has an attenuation of 1.5 dB.

Abstract

Processing water products sources into ready-to-drink water have been widely circulated in community, one of it's a household drinking water filter with 4 filter stages. Drinking water itself is indispensable for human body. It's because most of the human body is made up of water. To meet the water needs in human body, drinking water is required. Drinking water that consumed by community must meet drinking water standards that have been determined by Minister of Health Decree No. 492/2010, which must meet physical, chemical, biological and radioactive requirements.This research aimed at monitoring several drinking water quality parameters in form of Ph (6.5 - 8.5), Turbidity (<5 NTU) and temperature (22 ? - 27 ?) by using pH sensor, turbidity sensor and temperature sensor, and ON/OFF scheduling of ultraviolet light as an inhibitor of bacterial growth which then monitoring results will be sent via nodeMCU ESP8266 and displayed on WEB. The results of the Ph sensor readings show a reading accuracy of up to 97.28%, on the temperature sensor the reading accuracy reaches 98.7%, while the turbidity sensor has an accuracy level of up to 98.875%, the ON/OFF of UV light goes according to schedule. The application software used able to read and store data in real time from water quality sensor so users can monitor quality of drinking water. Water from filtration of water filter can be categorized as suitable for drinking in accordance with drinking water standard in the Decree of Minister of Health No. 492 in 2010.

Abstract

Indonesia has the potential of invaluable biological resources from an economic and ecological perspective, one of which is coral reef resources. To determine the condition of the coral reef ecosystem in Indonesian waters as an effort to monitor and monitor using remote sensing data. The purpose of this research is the creation of an information system through a website that can help users access information effectively and efficiently.Utilization of Landsat 8 satellite image data to observe the bottom of the waters directly on coral reef mapping using the Lyzenga Algorithm method, also known as the depthinvariant index method or the water column correction method. This method produces a baseline index that is not affected by depth and works well in clear shallow waters such as in coral reef habitat areas (Maritorena, 1996). The results showed that the image processing data had a map accuracy level for Menjangan Besar and Menjangan Kecil islands of 77.78%, while the map accuracy level for Karimunjawa and Kemujang Islands was 72.23%. And from the processed data, it is known that coral reef cover in general has increased from 2014 to 2018, for Karimunjawa and Kemujan Islands an increase of 17.4% for Menjangan Besar and Menjangan Kecil Islands only a slight increase of 0.27% and for Bunaken Island an increase of 9.1%. And there is one island that is processed has decreased, namely Bunaken Island by 4.5%.

Abstract

The limited number of nurses is a problem that often occurs in the world of health which has an impact on the high workload of nurses resulting in less optimal patient care and decreased patient satisfaction. According to Institute for Healthcare Improvement, nurses spend only 20-30% of their time in direct patient care, the rest on documentation and administration processes. So, hospitals generally provide nurse calls so families don't have to leave patients to find nurses.The purpose of this study was to make it easier for patients to use Smart Nurse Call, especially for patients with acute diagnosis conditions and it's easier for nurses to monitor patient's condition. It's also examines the distance of data transmission in one building to determine the performance of wireless (access points).Based on data from test results, the quality of data transmission using wireless media is known that access point has data transmission limit. In testing distance at AH building stated that data transmission based on the range on the 1st floor is able to reach the entire corridor, for 2nd floor it can reach a distance of 13 meters while on 3rd floor it cannot be reached. The data from suitability test of smart nurse call tool showed that the suitability level of the device was quite high and almost same as manual test at 97.65%. The data from stress test results from push button get average voltage value low position at 0 V and average high voltage at 4.675 V.

Abstract

The recovery room is a room in hospital, where patients are treated after they have undergone surgical operations and recovered from the effects of anesthesia. In recovery room, patients really need a comfort so that they don't experience physical and psychological stress too much. Comfort for everyone is different, but there are several factors that can make the room more comfortable. Therefore, it will take parameters for this research, namely temperature, humidity and lighting.In this study, we will discuss how to design a wireless sensor network system for controlling the recovery room after cesarean operation and how to test sensors on this system and how to display processing result data to a smartphone.This research will explain about the system description of room temperature and humidity, UV light and room light intensity based on wireless sensor network using 2 types of nodes, namely sink nodes and control sensor nodes and using the HC-12 wireless module as data sender and receiver between nodes. The data taken is related to the measurement result information data that will be accessed and displayed via Android application in realtime.From the system designed, the error value is obtained with an average temperature value on R1 of 1.16%, R2 is 2.64% and R3 is 5.36%, while for the humidity value on R1 is 3.70%, R2 is 9, 32% and R3 10.54%. For testing the communication distance of 10m, the delay value without barrier is 60 seconds, while with barrier, the delay value is 97 seconds.

Abstract

Water is a very basic need in the survival of all living things. The limited amount of clean water and the increasing human growth rate in Indonesia are slowly starting to cause a clean water crisis. Apart from the quantity, the fresh water quality is getting worse. The increasing need is directly proportional to the increasing exploitation of springs, but in fact it's inversely proportional to public awareness of the need for treatment, care and monitoring of river conditions, especially for people in urban, industrial and densely populated areas. In this research, it is proposed a design design for river water monitoring devices using the internet of things method with a media monitor and a public website-based interface that can be accessed by anyone who wants to know about updated river condition information. There are two observation parameters in this study, including dissolved liquid solids content (PPM) and liquid turbidity (NTU), which changes will be observed with the river prototype media in a paralon pipeline. The data received by the sensor is then processed by the Wemos D1 microcontroller and sent to an online database to be displayed in the form of graphs or data records or tables. From the implementation of this research, it is hoped that the community around the watershed can obtain information about the impact of activities around the river on water conditions and quality. With that, it's hoped that the community will have more awareness of the importance of togetherness in protecting the surrounding rivers.

Abstract

Survey data by the World Society for the Protection of an Animal(WSPA) in 2007 recorded that total pet population in Indonesia was 23,000,000 individuals (Batson,2008). The majority of Indonesian choose to keep purebred cats. Care of this breed is'nt easy and requires special attention from the owner. With Smart Cat Home, cat owners can monitor and control feeding schedule, temperature, and drinking conditions in cat cage via their telegraphic social media. The Smart Cat Home is designed using Raspberry Pi3 microcontroller. This system functions to monitor feeding schedule according to cat habits, determine weight of cat feed detected by Loadcell, monitor availability of drinking water by water level sensor, capture cat's condition by webcam, and temperature monitoring using DHT11 sensor. All conditions on system will be displayed on Telegram Bot. From test results can be concluded that the whole system works well. In temperature system, the warmer will be active when <22°C, and the fan will be active at temperature >26°C. In feeding system, the weight sensor is able to read feed weight accurately. From 5 data on feed weight, the average feed weight is 78 grams. In drinking system, the drinking water reservoir will fill drinking container when water level sensor have voltage value <1600 mv with water level of 2.5cm from the surface. From the calculation of delay value in sending data, there's delay of 33.8ms. Packet loss or the amount of data lost during transmission process is 0.3%. Througput of data transmission in system is 84,139,041 Kbytes/sec.

Abstract

State Polytechnic of Malang is an educational institution based on technique where the database is needed here, the database itself is important data that must be stored and cannot be seen by others. Database security must be developed and prioritized so that no one breaks into important data on the server. This whitelist method utilizes a port that can block port access to outside networks that are vulnerable to criminal acts, this method uses ssh as a medium to manage control of an ip address. The ip address will be added a port behind it. Use IP block with Linux OS and tested via the web and laptop using a local access point. The test results show that the quality used for security is whitelist, where this method is used for the IP security used. IP block and unblock process can be done well. The process of adding and deleting ports can be done well. So that in general, the whole system is running well and easy access.

Abstract

Control of quality standards is very important role in ensuring corn on the market. Corn seed quality standards are determined from the results of classification process applied. So far, evaluation process of classification of corn seeds quality is still done manually which takes a long time and the quality of product is'nt evenly distributed. So, we need a tool to determine corn seeds quality to improve its quality. This study conducted color readings of corn seeds using TCS230 color sensors and sorting diameter of corn seeds using a small, medium, and large diameter sieve machine. The method for classifying quality standard of corn seed color uses fuzzy logic. The test was carried out by taking data from 3 TCS230 color sensors on each diameter of the sieve machine for corn seeds types used are BISI-2 and BIMA-19. The sensor accuracy is known by comparing data from sensor with data from Color Grab application. The reading results of BISI-2 on the color sensor-1 shows an accuracy rate of 0.3%, the color sensor-2 shows an accuracy rate of 0.72%, and the color sensor-3 shows an accuracy rate of 1.76%. For BIMA-19 corn seeds, the reading on color sensor-1 shows an accuracy of 1.11%, the color sensor-2 shows an accuracy of 24.6%, the color sensor-3 shows an accuracy of 1.10%. The results of fuzzy testing on BISI-2 and BIMA-19 showed that quality standard of maize seeds was good at medium and large diameters, while those on small diameters showed poor quality standards.
