Abstract

This research aims to identify and explain about the informal sector and women street vendors, Yellow Bamboo Market Studies at Bandar Lampung. This research method took 6 informants women street vendors who trade with the type of merchandise that is different. The method used is descriptive method and purposive sampling. Data collection techniques with in-depth interviews and documentation. It was concluded that women with street vendors selling a variety of means, such as kiosks, tents and spread out his wares on the pavement or bare floor and above or in crates stacked serves as a table. Although at the time of selling them hung in a particular place, the women of the street vendors where the mobile is easy to move merchandise to another location. They can customize the location and time of selling the crowds condition somewhere, but often have to deal with market forces or official order.

Abstract

Moro-Moro community understands that education is one of the most important parts of human basic right, especially at agrarian conflict area. There are several points that Moro-Moro community provides for child protection by education: 1) established school committee and gained some voluntary teachers, 2) established some school buildings, 3) integrates system to ‘main office, 4) finding scholarship for some students who continue to higher education, and) send back some graduates to teach at some school at Moro-Moro. This paper is aim to explain those points as fundamental strategies to actualize child welfare at agrarian conflict area.

Abstract

This study uses discourse analysis of Norman Fairclough models. This model does not only analyze the text, but also the context. Context will further analyze how ideology, history, hegemony, and the political economy of media, news affecting construction of the news text. Action / effect analyzes what is desired by the media, in constructing an event in the news.This study proves that knowledge, the proximity of the reporter to the event, ideology, hegemony vested interests of advertisers, media cultural institutions, as well as the political economy of the media plays a major role in the process of news construction . Constructed news will further affects the public perception of the event, as well as those who become participating in the news (involved).

Abstract

Hubungan Masyarakat (Humas) adalah sebuah praktik komunikasi yang berdimensi luas dan memiliki banyak rupa salah satunya sebagai seni berkomunikasi. Pada satu sisi, humas dianggap sebagai seni dalam membangun hubungan yang secara unik diposisikan untuk menjembatani komunikasi yang efektif antara pihak organisasi atau perusahaan dengan para publiknya. Di sisi lain, praktik ini mengharuskan para pelakunya mengikuti aturan etika yang berlaku, diantaranya adalah peraturan perusahaan atau organisasi. Salah satu kondisi yang menyebabkan para praktisi Humas untuk kembali mengikuti arus adalah perkembangan teknologi. Web 3.0 jelas memberikan peluang dan tantangan bagi dunia kehumasan. Peluang utama yang ditawarkan oleh web 3.0 adalah semakin “menipisnya” jarak antara perusahaan dan para publiknya. Misalnya saja melalui media social, pihak perusahaan akan semakin mudah untuk berinteraksi dengan publiknya. Kemudian, keberadaan web 3.0 memmpermudah para paktisi untuk mengumpulkan data mengenai public sesuai dengan yang ditargetkan. Selanjutnya, dengan data tersebut para praktisi humas mampu merancang kegiatan komunikasi yang kajian publik sesuai dengan targetnya. Sebaliknya, web 3.0 juga menghadirkan tantangan yang tidak sederhana bagi praktisi humas yakni penguasaan teknik aplikasi web 3.0 dan isu mengenai kerahasiaan data dan reputasi. Web 3.0 dengan segala keterbukaan infomasi menyebabkan para praktisi harus berhati-hati dalam menggunakan data perusahaan atau publiknya dengan tetap memperhatikan tata etika informasi.

Furthermore, this paper also presented growth opportunities identification and handling of organized crime in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study discusses the role of the Press Council as an protector of agency press institutions in Indonesia. As a public institution, the press does not escape from the push-pull various issues of public interest. Press Council as an independent body, is appropriate to give a big share in maintaining the integrity of the press in relation to public kepentinga. The method used in this study is a review of the literature. The conclusion is that in many cases that have occurred in Indonesia, we need to scrutinize the role of the Press Council in establishing the atmosphere of objective information and in favor of the public interest.

Abstract

This research purposed to explore information about the community's economic strategy in Desa Sabah Balau Kecamatan Tanjung Bintang Kabupaten Lampung Selatan postplanning Sumatera Institute of Technology (ITERA). Development situation exploited by high society owners of capital to boost the economy. On the other hand, do the poor economic strategy by seeking to survive in order not marginalized, as predicted Desa Sabah Balau will experience significant social change. The results showed that the public response is very open and accepting ITERA development, because it sure will bring significant changes to the village. Citizens from all walks of life have prepared strategies include: for the people who have the capital they (1) sell the land to exploit the situation ITERA development, (2) sell the land when land prices rise, (3) save the land for their own business, and (4) began to build a place of business. Poor people who do not have the capital assets such as land or other personal attempt to (1) look for another job, because it is no longer working as casual laborers in PTPN VII, (2) submit the ability to work in construction as a bricklayer ITERA to stakeholders; (3) involve family members to work, and (4) reducing the need to tighten spending.
