Jurnal Ilmiah Wahana Pendidikan (JIWP) Diterbitkan sebagai upaya untuk mempublikasikan hasil-hasil penelitian dan temuan di bidang pendidikan . Jurnal ini terbit 4 bulanan, yaitu bulan April, Agustus dan Desember. *Ruang Lingkup* Memuat hal kajian, analisis, dan penelitian tentang perancangan, pengembangan, pengelolaan, pemanfaatan, evaluasi, dan penelitian dalam bidang pendidikan yang berkaitan dengan peningkatan kinerja dan memfasilitasi belajar di lembaga pendidikan formal, non-formal dan informal serta lembaga-lembaga pelatihan. *Deskripsi* Jurnal Ilmiah Wahana Pendidikan merupakan media komunikasi ilmiah bagi dosen, guru, widyaiswara, mentor, mahasiswa, dan praktisi pendidikan lainnya serta pemerhati kependidikan. Jurnal ini dimaksudkan sebagai wadah untuk menyebarluaskan hasil kajian, pemikiran, penelitian, dan evaluasi yang relevan dengan kawasan pendidikan yakni perancangan, pengembangan, pengelolaan, pemanfaatan, evaluasi dan penelitian dalam bidang pendidikan, pembelajaran dan evaluasi. Abstract

This research has a purpose to determine the effect of learning strategies and learning motivation on the results of grade IX Indonesian language learning. This research was carried out at Jakarta Tarakanita 4 Middle School. The research uses an experimental research of design treatment by level 2 x 2 with 28 students as a sample which is taken by simple random sampling at Jakarta Tarakanita 4 Middle School. The results showed that: (1) the results of learning Indonesian for class IX students of Jakarta Tarakanita 4 Junior High School who followed the learning process using contextual learning strategies were higher than students who followed the learning process using expository learning strategies, (2) there the effect of interaction between learning strategies and motivation on the learning outcomes of Indonesian students, (3) the results of learning Indonesian for students who follow the learning process by using contextual learning strategies with high motivation results are higher than students who follow the learning process using learning strategies expository with high motivation, (4) Indonesian language learning outcomes for students who follow the learning process using contextual learning strategies with low motivation are the same results as students who follow the learning process by using expository learning strategies with low motivation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the critical thinking skills of seventh grade students in BandungSecondary School 2 by implementing problem-based learning strategies (PBL) for social studiessubjects. The method used in this study is action research (Action Research) which refers to the Kemmisand McTaggart models. The result of the research shows that: 1) The implementation of problem-basedlearning strategy (PBL) in social studies subjects in SMP Negeri 2 Bandung can improve students'critical thinking skills, 2) students' critical thinking ability in IPS lesson in SMP Negeri 2 Bandung.through the implementation of problem-based learning strategies (PBLs) can be established throughauthentic inquiry activities, as these activities take place requiring students to find real solutions toproblems that occur in the real world.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of (1) personality, (2) self-efficacy, (3) decision making of thead master who are working at Senior High School in Jakarta District. Survey method with a quantitative-causal approach using path analyses was used to in this research. This survey was conducted from February to May, 2018 involving 89 head master in a District as samples. This sampling was determined randomly by Slovin formula. The findings of this study indicated: first, there is a positive direct effect of personality on decision making. Second, there is a positive direct effect of self-efficacy on decision making. Third, there is a positive direct effect of personality on self-efficacy. Based on the findings, it is suggested for the Principal which is the position is as a manager in the school to be a good role model for the teachers in respecting and appreciating others.

Abstract

The objective research is to obtain information concerning to the effect of empowerment and trust toward loyalty. The research was conducted by using survey method with path analysis in testing hypothesis. In this research, 148 from 234 teachers selected random sampling. The research was focused on three aspect; empowerment and trust toward loyalty. The data were colected with questionnaire and analyzed with path analysis. Result on the analyisis it is conculated that (1) there the positive direct effect of empowerment towards loyalty, (2) there is positive direct effect of trust towards loyalty and (3) there is positive direct effect of empowerment towards trust.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a learning system that is close to the learning environment itself, using Indonesian cultural content that is National songs, children, Indonesian area. This research was conducted at two music course institutions in Jakarta involving three violin teachers. Stages of observation were carried out in August 2016 at the Institute for Educational Music in Farabi and Willy Sumantri Music School. The method used in this study is Reasech and Devolution (research and development). Research and development to make or develop a product, both in the commercial and educational sectors. The model used in this research is the MPI model. The results of the validation by the experts showed that the average test of the material expert was 3.77, the media expert obtained 3.0, the design expert obtained a score of 3.0, which meant that the product was feasible and very good to use. Furthermore the product will be tested to a number of students with small group stage ie 3 respondents with face to face method obtained the overall average value of 73.33, small group trial obtained overall average value 90. Conclusion learning module violin for novice stage students to the formation of skills and the character of love for the homeland can be said to be good or worthy of use.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of job satisfaction in improving teacher discipline in Namrole District, South Buru District, Maluku Province. This research will be conducted in four SMANs of Namrole Sub-district of South Buru Regency of Maluku Province. Research in maret until june 2018. The research approach used is qualitative approach. Qualitative is one method of research in social sciences. The results show that the discipline of Teacher Work 1) Increase the discipline of teaching. 2) Improving Disciplinary Planning, 3) Improving Discipline Implementation of Learning. 4) Improving Discipline Evaluation of Learning 5) Internal and External Factors Affecting Master's Job Satisfaction. 6) Supporting Factors and Inhibitors Teacher Job Satisfaction

Abstract

The purpose of this study is seeking information about the effect of coaching and interpersonal communication on organizational commitment. the method of survey with quantitative approach in training civil servants in Central Maluku district. This study was conducted to seluruhu employees of Central Maluku district education offices by using a survey method and hypothesis testing path analysis is applied to 125 employees as a sample and selected by using the formula slovin. The results of this study are: (1) there is a direct effect of positive coaching to the organization's commitment. (2) there is a positive direct influence of interpersonal communication on organizational commitment. (3) there is a direct influence on the development of interpersonal communication.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and mean descriptively the implementation of strategic management of educational programs and the training of mental revolution policies. Data collection methods that are owned are through observation, interviews, field notes and documents that can be accounted for. Data analysis method is carried out data analysis techniques obtained through the type of research both through secondary data and primary data, then analyzed descriptively and conclusively concluded. Data analysis includes testing, grouping and testing or collecting data / evidence to draw research results in the form of descriptions written in narratives to complete the overall picture. The results of the study found in this study are mental revolution education and training have a strategic, practical, and massive management system to improve the way of thinking, ways of working and ways of life for Praja Pioneers of the Mental Revolution (PPRM), the Pioneer of the Mental Revolution (KPRM) and the Revolutionary Mental Revolutionary Apparatus (APRM). The findings of this study are the implementation of education and mental revolution training there are two educational processes in it, namely formal education and informal education. The goal is the value of the mental revolution can change the character and character or mental of the apparatus and also understand strategic management (Planning, Implementation and Monitoring / Evaluation).

Abstract

This research aims to investigate; (1) the different interpretation among students toward “a text” in Jakarta Post newspaper , (2) which one is dominant toward those differences. This research was conducted in English Education Study Program, Postgraduate, by choosing 6 students on English Education Study Program as the participant. This research took two texts from Jakarta Post Newspaper as the primary text, text 1 deals with 2 participants and text 2 deals with 4 participants.The design of this research used quali-tative method. Data were collected through text collecting of the result of the student’s interpretation via email and also direct meeting by using type of document analysis through four analysis steps which deals with order and form, meaning, rhetoric, and style. The result of the finding presents each of the student’s interpretation result has significant differences. The significant diffe-rence most dominantly appear is in order and form side, as grammar, mistake in writing words, thus influenced to the meaning from a discourse that they develop in their text. Besides, the discourse that they delivered also consider the natural meaning, adapting meaning oriented only to the original text, and most of the 6 participants gave their own opinion in their interpretation toward each of original text. The last finding presents that there are some reasons causing the differences in case interpreting these two texts; (1) each of them has different know-ledge background, (2) ability to see the text meaning/ news broadly in some perspectives. The researcher only focus on one class which had 6 participants in which had been involved two texts. Whereas, the first text deals with 2 participants, and the other consist of 4 participant. It was done without seeing the respondent in lnguage and gender

Abstract

Makassar is one of the major cities in Indonesia with the densest concentration of population in coastal areas so that the pressure on this region is quite high. One of the main problems of Makassar is the existence of trash continues to increase. This study aims to determine the vulnerability level of coastal Makassar against trash pollution. The research was conducted on the Moon from May to July 2015. The research location is the coastal area of Makassar which includes eight subdistricts, namely: Subdistrict Biringkanaya, Tamalanrea, Tallo, Ujung Tanah, Wajo, Makassar, Mariso, and Tamalate. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data collected from surveys and direct observation to the study site while secondary data obtained from the study of literature and related institutions in the city of Makassar. The results showed coastal subdistrict of Makassar city high potential to impact trash pollution. The vulnerability of the coastal area of Makassar against trash pollution are in the high category (very vulnerable).
