Abstract

The background of this research stems from the interest of researchers about the importance of the role of principal leadership in strengthening character education. This study aims to determine the type, role, and implementation of the character education strengthening program at SMAN 1 Yogyakarta. This research is a qualitative research taking place at SMAN 1 Yogyakarta. Methods of data collection are done by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques by transcript, coding, comparing and contrasting. Checking the validity of the data by means of triangulation of sources, triangulation of techniques, and triangulation of time. The results showed that: (1) the type of leadership applied by the principal is a type of democratic leadership where the principal always provides encouragement, motivation and innovation for teachers, employees and students to continue to excel and continue working. (2) The implementation of the character education strengthening program using the habituation and culture methods of 5S (Greetings, Smiles, Greetings, Polite, and Polite) character education strengthening programs are supported by school members so that the program has been implemented optimally. (3) the principal acts as an educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator and as a motivator.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research, taking the background of SD Negeri Sinduadi 1 Mlati. Data collection was carried out by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis method used in this research is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Test the validity of the data in this study using triangulation techniques. The results showed that the implementation of the value of multicultural education in Islamic education learning and character had an impact on increasing the tolerance attitude of students at SD Negeri Sinduadi 1 Mlati. Its implementation is done through habituation and exemplary of PAI and BP teachers, besides that also through subject matter related to multicultural education. The results that have been achieved are shown through respecting the rights of each person, the beliefs of others, agreeing on differences, mutual understanding, awareness, honesty, and being helpful. These results can be achieved well because of the supporting factors, namely: teacher personality, school community togetherness, school facilities and activities that support the implementation of multicultural education values ??such as flag ceremonies, scouts, sacrifices, breaking the fast together, 17 August events. Apart from supporting factors, there are also inhibiting factors, namely the condition of the surrounding environment and also the individual characteristics of students.

Abstract

This study will discuss the urgency of Pancasila values in the context of life. The role of Islamic boarding schools, which has proven to be effective in educating Pancasila values. Pondok Pesantren Tremas is one of the Pesantren that is consistent in internalizing the values of Pancasila in education, both educational activities, such as those visualized in wetonan, roan and so on. This research is a Field Research, which is to get data directly from respondents by means of observation, interview, documentation and triangulation. Pondok Pesantren Tremas Arjosari, Pacitan, East Java, especially in educating Pancasila values by strengthening the basis of activities, both formally, non-formally and informally, which contain the substance of Pancasila values. Such as the activities of the santri ceremony, ngipa, roan and several other activities. As well as those that contain the values of love for the country, the value of tolerance, togetherness, divinity, mutual cooperation.

Abstract

This research is based on the importance of Islamic education in Indonesia which must be in accordance with the development of its era, it cannot be denied that every era has its own era as well as Islamic education. Therefore, Islamic education must be dynamic according to the times which will develop rapidly in Indonesia and even in the world. Islamic education is very important for humans who will be able to continue the previous intellectualists. One of them is Gus Dur's thoughts which can be relevant to Islamic education, which really needs the idea of ??reform so that it is not left behind by the times. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with a library research approach that focuses more on collecting data from various relevant sources. In this case, it could include books, journals and research results related to the title of this scientific work. The results of the research are the thoughts of Gus Dur or K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid can take a variety of ideas, and Islamic education in the modern era requires efforts to improve both the concept and the technique so that it is suitable for the era, and Gus Dur's thoughts can create Islamic education that can later be based on neomodernism, Islamic education based on liberation, education. Islam is based on diversity. The three big concepts are very relevant to be implemented in the world of education, especially Islamic education in Indonesia, be it formal, informal and non-formal institutions. In order to be able to create a solid Islamic education with its classic characteristics and always innovate towards the development of its era, it also maintains good morals and always loves diversity.

Abstract

This research will discuss SIMPATIKA as a basis for decision making and policies in the Ministry of Religion Yogyakarta. SIMPATIKA has a role in supporting all government needs in capturing PTK data, as in the Education and Madrasah Sector (DIKMAD) Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion DIY maximally utilizes SIMPATIKA data as a means of decision making. This research is descriptive qualitative research. This study's population was the head of the field, the head of the Kasi, the staff/operator of SIMPATIKA Kanwil, 3 SIMPATIKA operators of the institution. Sampling is based on 3M's criteria of knowing, understanding, and experiencing by using data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that: 1. SIMPATIKA data management in the DIKMAD area of DIY Ministry of Religion's regional office was by the central SIMPATIKA operator's procedures. Judging from how SIMPATIKA management starts from the format, data collection, and data presentation, SIMPATIKA can be used to make accurate decision-making. 2. Decision making related to Educators and Education Personnel in the DIKMAD sector is currently firm and committed to following the established system regulations because the basis for decision making is based on SIMPATIKA data analysis. 3. SIMPATIKA's strengths include: (a) Real-Time Online Transaction (2) Rule by System (3) Self-Service Technology And Paperless, while the weakness is that the Ministry of Religion does not have a SIMPATIKA patent, this is an obstacle for the Ministry of Religion in its development.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the effectiveness of the application of problem-based learning model-based learning in improving the physics learning achievement of momentum material and student impulses in class X MIPA-2 MAN 2 Bantul even semester of the 2019-2020 school year. This research is classroom action research. The research method was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The method of collecting data on student learning achievement results was collected through test techniques, the learning process, and student activeness obtained through observation. The method of analyzing the learning process data gives a score on the syntax aspect of problem-based learning. The results showed that students' activeness from cycle 1 to cycle 2 increased 53% to 76%. Student learning achievement has increased from the initial conditions of 12%, cycle one by 36%, and cycle two by 76%. The application of Problem-based learning, which is very good, can increase learning activities and student achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the activeness and achievement of learning in Indonesian language debate materials by using role-playing learning models in grade X students of MIPA 3 MAN  2 Bantul even semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. This research was conducted from January to April 2020. This study's subject was a Grade X student of MIPA 3 MAN 2 Bantul, who numbered 25 students. The indicators examined in this study are the activeness and learning achievement of students. The research design uses a class action research model. The study consisted of 2 cycles, each of which consisted of 3 meetings. The data collection method uses observation method, questionnaires, and written tests. The study results can be concluded that applying the Role-Playing learning model can increase the activeness and achievement of learning in the field of study of Bahasa Indonesia debate material in students grade X MIPA 3 MAN  2 Bantul even semester 2019/2020. Student activity in the first cycle of 61.50% increased in the second cycle to 88.50%. In the first cycle, student learning achievement based on an average score of 65.55% increased in the second cycle to 82.28%. Similarly, the number of students completed in the first cycle by 36% rose to 80%. The successful use of Role-Playing learning models can be used as an alternative learning model to improve students' activeness and learning achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning achievement of writing speech texts in Class VI Semester II SDN Kratonan No. 3 Surakarta Academic Year 2019/2020, which corresponds to Indonesian language learning on theme 7: Leadership; Sub Theme 1: Leaders Around Me on KI. 4.3 "Writing private speeches using standard vocabulary and effective sentences as a form of self-expression.". This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). With a length of research for 4 (four) months starting January to April 2020. This study's subjects were students of Class VI SDN Kratonan No. 3 Surakarta, totaling 29 students. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, test methods, performance, and documentation. The results showed that applying the collaboration method could improve the sixth-grade students' writing skills of SDN Kratonan No.3 Surakarta Academic Year 2019/2020.

Abstract

The learning planning process that a teacher must carry out includes the following main activities: (1) Creating an annual program, (2). Making a syllabus, (3). Creating a semester program, (4). Make a learning implementation plan, (5). Furthermore, make a test/evaluation program. Of the five elements above, the syllabus and lesson plans are the minimum preparation for a teacher when teaching. Based on the analysis results in the 2018/2019 academic year at MTs Surade District, the problem arises that the lack of teachers who make lesson plans, especially the preparation of syllabus and lesson plans. To examine teachers' weak performance in this regard, a study was conducted to see how steps of academic supervision of madrasah principals can improve teacher competence in the preparation of syllabus and lesson plans. This research was conducted with a classroom action research method that lasted for two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The results of this study indicate that ongoing academic supervision has been scientifically proven to improve teacher competence in compiling syllabus and lesson plans at MTs Surade District. It is evidenced by the increase in the number of good teacher syllabus from 31% to 83% after academic supervision. Besides, the number of good quality RPPs also increased from 31% to 89%.

Abstract

This study aims to improve Arabic language skills through the electric Guess Your Match (Tebak Tepat Pasanganmu) method for class XI IPA-2 students of MAN Kendal. In the even semester of the 2016/2017 academic year, there may be 32 students. This research is a classroom action carried out in two cycles; Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, observation, observation, evaluation, and reflection. The data instrument, data analysis, and data analysis techniques used tests and non-tests. The results showed that the average value at the first meeting of the first cycle was 70.84, and the second meeting was 74.59 so that the average value of the first cycle was 72.71. While the average value of the first meeting in cycle II was 80.03, and the second meeting was 86.86, then in cycle II the average value was 83.43. So that there was an increase from cycle I to cycle II of 14.75%. The results of non-test data analysis based on learning outcomes also showed a change in students' behaviour in class XI IPA-2 MAN Kendal. The researcher concluded that the pairing game guessing (Tebak Tepat Pasanganmu) method significantly improved the students' Arabic speaking skills.
