Abstract

There are many ways for the company to reach a good standard for their goods and services.Standard is essential to achieve a level of customer trust. The company must be maintaining the quality oftheir services and products, including in this case the quality of goods beside the services. To ensure itsachievement, a directed management system and processes are needed to achieve the level of customertrust. Many companies use quality tools to help monitor and manage their quality system. There areseveral types of tools that can be used. But the more, there are seven management tools for qualitycontrol are the most common. Seven tools can be used by any professional to ease the quality improvement process like flowcharts, check sheets, Pareto diagrams, cause and effect diagrams,histograms, scatter diagrams, and control charts. Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has weakened various sectors in Indonesia, including the construction sector. Restrictions on social interactions and associations of people in public places stop construction work and are temporarily delayed. In connection with the development of the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia, the Ministry of PUPR issued PUPR Minister Instruction No. 02/2020 concerning the Protocol to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19 in the implementation of Construction Services which was signed on March 27 2020. In general, the PUPR Ministerial Instruction contains a mechanism regarding the COVID-19 prevention protocol in the implementation of construction services, namely the COVID-19 prevention protocol scheme in the implementation of construction services and its mechanisms. The purpose of this study was to find out whether the X Project in Samarinda had implemented the COVID-19 prevention protocol in accordance with the Instruction of the Minister of PUPR. The protocol for prevention and handling of COVID-19 in the implementation of the X Project has largely followed the PUPR Minister's Instruction. The implementation of the protocol for preventing the spread of COVID-19 that needs to be added is (1) Construction Work Service Providers are required to provide additional vaccines, vitamins and nutrients to increase worker immunity; (2) If a worker in the field is COVID-19 Patient Under Surveillance (PDP), work must be temporarily suspended by the Service User and / or Service Provider for at least 14 (fourteen) working days. Abstract

The Corona Virus pandemic that entered the territory of Indonesia in early 2020 greatly affected the stability of all aspects of life, both in terms of the economy, industry and the education sector. The spread of this virus is growing exponentially rapidly throughout the world, including Indonesia, which ultimately the World Health Organization (WHO) declared that the Covid-19 outbreak was a world pandemic. Since the government through the Ministry of Education and Culture has issued circular number 4 of 2020 concerning the implementation of education policies during the emergency period of the spread of Covid-19, to support this government policy all lecture activities are automatically transferred online. The shift of the lecture method from face-to-face lectures and students in real classes to face-to-face in virtual classes has caused many things to be reviewed. This study describes the effectiveness of using online media during e-learning, its advantages and disadvantages and the obstacles that occur in using online media in the learning process. The research method used is descriptive research method. The technique of collecting data is through a questionnaire in the form of a google form which is distributed to odd semester students of the 2020/2021 Academic Year. Student responses contain statements in the form of indicators used to measure student activeness. The results showed that online learning was quite effective in the current Covid-19 pandemic. Student response to online learning is quite good. All learning materials provided by lecturers through e-learning can be absorbed well, although there are still shortcomings and obstacles in online learning that must be addressed. Abstract

In a four stroke combustion engine, there are three piston rings, namely two compression piston rings and one lubrication control piston ring. The piston compression ring serves to maintain the combustion pressure, while the piston ring lubrication regulator functions to lubricate the combustion chamber during the energy change process so that the piston will run back and forth in the combustion chamber smoothly.Damage that occurs to the piston ring can be in the form of a broken piston ring, or a scratched or worn piston ring. These things can reduce the quality of the energy transfer process. The piston ring is broken because the ring is too brittle. Vibration that occurs in the piston when combustion occurs at full load increases the possibility of a fracture process in the piston ring. The brittleness of the piston ring is strongly influenced by the material used. To overcome this, a hard but not stiff material is needed. Keywords: Hardness, mileage, Vicker test

Abstract

One of the important elements produced from the factory support units is air products. Regional water balance (integration) is important to support factory operations. Raw water is treated in the unit section to produce demin water and further process into Boiler Feed Water (BWF) to produce 80 kg/cm2 pressurized steam in the boiler unit, to meet the specifications as demin water it is necessary to carry out several treatments to remove mineral ions (cations and anions) dissolved in the air. In the mixed bed polisher, there is a resin regeneration process to eliminate saturation of the resin which can no longer bind mineral ions. Regeneration or regent is carried out after the resin pile is saturated which is characterized by an increase in product productivity conductivity with the desired product conductivity target of <0.2 μS/cm at a temperature of 25℃. The purpose of this study was to work or perform a mixed bed polisher, especially during regeneration in the demineralization unit. This research was conducted by making a framework of thought and writing work. The writing stage contains data collection, data processing and data analysis-synthesis, as well as drawing conclusions. Based on this research, the results showed that there was a decrease in the performance of the mixed bed with a bed expansion gain of 80.7% and a resin height of 2.42 m. The number of chemicals used for regeneration is 1170.7 kg consisting of HCL and NaOH so that the flow rate of demin water required to dilute the regenerant is 7,126 m3/h. Abstract

Thermoelectric Generator produces electrical power through the direct conversion of heat energy into electrical energy. It operates on the same principle as the thermocouples that are used for measuring temperatures and in safety shutoff controls for gas water heaters, home furnaces, etc. However, the TEG utilizes semiconducting thermoelectric materials that are much more efficient and thus permit practical thermoelectric power sources. A thermocouple consists of two dissimilar materials (usually in wire form) which are joined together at one end. If this junction is heated to a higher temperature than the other end of the wire, a voltage will exist across the cooler end. Further, electrical power will be delivered to a load placed in the circuit. This process will continue provided that the temperature difference is maintained. A THEG is a system which provides the means to maintain these required conditions. Key Words : thermoelectric, generator, power plant, installation

Abstract

A pump is a machine used to move uncompressed fluid from one place to another with a certain distance, from a low to a high place or move fluid from a low pressure place to a high pressure place. The purpose of this study is to determine the performance value of the centrifugal pump and the decline from the previous test by the manufacturer, as well as what factors influence it. Retrieval of data in the PT.PHM senipah field is a fire extinguisher pump P-8300 C by reading directly the existing parameters in the form of exhaust pressure (P) and the amount of flow in the exhaust channel (Q). The data is analyzed to get the value of head speed, head loss and total head so that the performance will be obtained. Key words: Centrifugal pump, working fluid, performance.
