Abstract

The problem in this study is what kind of imperative communication is in the language used by the Tasya Octav celebgram. The purpose of this research journal is to describe the types of imperative sentences and imperative communication tendencies used in Tasya Octav's celebgram language. This study used descriptive qualitative method. This research is a library research. The data of this research is the speech spoken by the celebrity Tasya Octav on the uploaded endorsement video. The data source of this research refers to the transcript of the endorsement video speech on the insta story of the Instagram account of Tasya Octav's Instagram account. The data collection in this research is listening and transcripts. Based on the results of the discussion, it can be concluded that in the endorsement language, Tasya Octav more often uses the imperative sentence of giving permission.

Abstract

Speech acts in learning on campus is one form of communication that realizes the achievement of learning objectives. Communication between lecturers and students, not only issuing an utterance, but there is an intention or action in the speech delivered. This study aims to describe the types, functions, characteristics of illocutionary speech acts in the speech of lecturers in the learning process at PGRI Wiranegara University. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The data collection technique used the recording technique and the note-taking technique. The data analysis technique was carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of this study, it shows that (a) the types of illocutionary speech acts used by lecturers in learning consist of five categories, namely assertive, directive, commissive, expressive, declarative based on several indicators (b) the functions of illocutionary speech acts used by lecturers of the faculty of pedagogy and psychology at PGRI Wirangera University in the learning process are competitive, convivial, collaborative and conflictive (c) Characteristics of illocutionary speech acts lecturers at the faculty of pedagogy and psychology at PGRI Wiranegara University have different percentages of illocutionary speech act findings in each department of education.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of illocutionary speech acts in the news "Covid-19 Vaccination Program" on the TribunNews.com page. The type of research used is qualitative research. Sources of data in this study are primary data sources and secondary data. The data in this study are all illocutionary speech acts used in the news (in writing) "Covid-19 Vaccination Program" on the TribunNews.com page. Data collection techniques used are documentation techniques, reading techniques, and note-taking techniques. The results showed: The types of illocutionary speech acts consist of (a) assertive form (stating number (28), complaining amounting to (8), suggesting amounting to (12), and informing amounting to (28)), (b) directive form (ordering totaling (13), advising amounting to (10), asking amounting to (11), ordering totaling (1)), (c) expressive form (thanks amounting to (4), praising amounting to (2), blaming amounting to (2)), (d) commissive form (promising amounting to (3), offering something amounting to (1)), (e) form of declaration (exclusion amounting to (1), raising amounting to (1), giving name amounting to (1), punishing amounting to (1) The results of the speech act data in this study found as many as seventy-five (76) assertive speech acts, thirty-five (35) directive speech acts, eight (8) expressive speech acts, four (4) four commissive speech acts, four declarations ( 4) speech act The most dominating speech act in the news "Covid-19 Vaccination Program" on the Tribune page News.com is an assertive illocutionary speech act as many as seventy five (76) speech acts.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the persuasive strategies of direct speech acts and indirect speech acts of ria ricis in the ricis official youtube channel and to describe the persuasive strategies of ria ricis in the ricis official youtube channel when viewed from direct speech acts and indirect speech acts. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The data collection technique used the note-taking technique. Data analysis techniques are carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of this study, it shows that (a) the direct speech act strategy of ria ricis on the ricis official youtube channel consists of three categories, namely speech act strategies in the form of news sentences (declarative), interrogative sentences (interrogative). And imperative sentences (imperative). (b) the indirect speech act strategy consists of two categories, namely the indirect speech act strategy in the form of news sentences and interrogative sentences. (c) the persuasive strategy when viewed from direct speech acts and indirect speech acts has a very different number where persuasive strategies that use direct speech acts are more widely used by ria ricis than persuasive strategies that use speech acts indirect.

Abstract

Study in this research is the form, meaning, and function of the oral literature of praise that is sung after the call to prayer and before performing the prayers. The purpose of the study entitled "Form, Meaning, and Function of Praise Oral Literature in Bugul Lor Village, Pasuruan City" describe the form, meaning, and function of praise oral literature in Bugul Lor Village, Pasuruan City. This research is expected to increase knowledge about the form, meaning, and function of praise before prayer, about culture, as well as preserving culture and traditions. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The research data is written data in the form of praise poems. The source of research data is in the form of poetry lyrics sung in mosques and prayer rooms in Bugul Lor Village, Pasuruan City. The collection is done by observing and taking notes. The results of the discussion can be concluded that the oral literature of pujian is in the form of poetry consisting of 2 to 4 stanzas consisting of 4 lines, in 1 line consisting of 8 to 16 syllables. Not all rhymes are a-a-a-a, there are some verses where the rhyme is free, or the rhyme is like a rhyme (a-b-a-b). All lines contain content. The meaning of praise consists of semantic and semiotic meanings. The function of praise oral literature is as a collective wishful thinking, as well as having an educational function.

Abstract

The problem in this research is how the structural elements in the novel Bumi Manusia by Pramoedya Ananta Toer and how socialist feminism forms in the novel Bumi Manusia by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. The purpose of writing this scientific paper is to describe the structural elements in Pramoedya Ananta Toer's novel Bumi Manusia and to describe the form of socialist feminism in Pramoedya Ananta Toer's novel Bumi Manusia. The method used in this scientific work is a qualitative descriptive method. The data in this study are written text data related to the structural elements and forms of socialist feminism in the novel Bumi Manusia by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. The source of the data in this research is the novel Bumi Manusia by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. Data collection uses reading and note-taking methods. The result of this research is that there are structural elements (themes, characterizations, setting, plot, point of view, and mandate) and socialist feminism in Pramoedya Ananta Toer's novel Bumi Manusia.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the inner conflict experienced by Alisya, Sandy and Mamat/Ahmad. This can be seen from the inner conflict that occurs in the character of the Novel Alisya by Muhammad Makhdlori (the study of Literary Psychology) according to Sigmund Freud. The methot used is a qualitative descriptive methot, namely by describing the inner conflict that occurs in Alisya’s Novel character. Data collection is used by reading and taking notes. The source of this reseachis the Alisya novel by Muhammad Makhdloei with 301 pages publishes by Safirah, 2012 first printing. The reseach data is the inner confict that occurs in the character of the Alisya Novel by Muhammad Makhdlori (Study of Literary Psychology) according to Sigmund Freud. The results of this study are described as follow: there ia an inner conflict that occurs in the form of Id, Ego and Superego.

Abstract

This study examines the inner conflict of the main character Binta. The purpose of this study is to describe the inner conflict of the main character regarding the id, ego, and superego in the word novel by Rintik Sedu. The method used is a qualitative method. The approach used is a literary psychological approach. The data in this study are in the form of novel quotes that contain inner conflicts. The data source in this research is the novel Kata by Rintik Sedu. The data collection technique used in this study is a literature study technique by reading carefully and repeatedly so as to understand the full meaning of the novel which is the object of the author's study based on the formulation of the problem and the objectives of this study. The data analysis technique used in this study prepares and organizes data such as transcript text data, then reduces the data into themes through the process of coding and summarizing the code. The last step is to present the data in the form of charts, tables or discussions. The results showed that the inner conflicts of the main characters in the word novel by Rintik Sedu were as follows, anger, hope, optimism, motivation, awareness, annoyance, sadness, disappointment, patience, wisdom, compassion, regret and guilt.

Abstract

At this time in the world of education often have difficulty in dealing with character development in students. This also reflects the erosion of noble values that are basically inherent in the child himself. The rapid advancement of technology is also suspected to be the cause of the erosion of the character value itself. It is fitting that with these technological advances, precisely in this era of globalization, as users of technology itself, we should be able to take advantage of this in developing our knowledge. But in reality there are still many users of this technology, in this case students who are less wise in using the technology. This also happened in one of the schools, namely the Private Junior High School of Santo Xaverius 2 Kabanjahe. Moving on from these problems, as for one of the methods used to develop the character and noble values inherent in students, cooperation is needed between the roles of parents and educators in building character so that they can create a generation that is competitive, open-minded, and has good character. The objectives of this study are: (1) To provide an overview of the conditions for the growth of the character of students. (2) Provide input for parents and teachers in building children's character. The data processing techniques obtained are by conducting field observations and constructive interviews with related parties.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low level of student learning activities so that it has an impact on student learning outcomes in social studies learning. The purpose of this study was to describe teacher activities, describe student activities and analyze student learning outcomes. This study used a qualitative research approach with the type of classroom action research, which was carried out in 2 cycles of 4 meetings. The subjects of this study were students of class VA at SDN Teluk Tiram 1 Banjarmasin in the academic year 2020/2021, the number of students was 11 students consisting of 2 male students and 9 female students. The types of data in this study are qualitative data and quantitative data. Qualitative data obtained through observation of teacher and student activities. While quantitative data obtained through student learning outcomes. The results of this study indicate that the teacher's activities at meeting 4 reached the "very good" criteria. Student activities at meeting 4 reached the "very active" criteria. The classical completeness of student learning outcomes at meeting 4 reached 90.90%.
