Journal of Computer Science and Information Technology is a threetly journal published by Universitas Putra Indonesia YPTK, Padang. It publishes scientific and technical papers describing original research work or novel product/process development. The objectives are to promote exchange of information and knowledge in research work, new inventions/developments of Computer Science and on the use of Information Technology towards the structuring of an information-rich society and to assist the academic staff from local and foreign universities, business and industrial sectors, government departments and academic institutions on publishing research results and studies in Computer Science and Information Technology through a scholarly publication. Abstract

The emergence of big data analytics as a way of deriving insights from data has brought excitement to mathematicians, statisticians, computer scientists and other professionals. However, the near absence of a mathematical foundation for analytics has become a real challenge amidst the flock of big data marketing activities, especially in healthcare insurance. This paper developed a mathematical model for the analytics of healthcare insurance data using set theory. A prototype for the model was implemented using Java Programming Language, MapReduce Framework, Association Rule Mining and MongoDB. Also, it was tested for accuracy using data from the National Health Insurance Scheme in Nigeria with a view to reducing delays in the processes of the Scheme. The result showed that the accuracy level was 97.14% on average, which depicts a higher performance for the model. This result implies that delays affecting the processing of data submitted by the providers and enrollees to the HMOs reduced drastically leading to the improvement in the flow of resources.

Abstract

This study engaged the convolutional neural network in curbing losses in terms of resources that farmers spends in treating animals where injuries must have emancipated from violence among other animals and in worst case scenario could eventually lead to death of animals. Animals in a ranch was the target and the study proposed a method that detects and reports activities of violence to ranchers such that farmers are relieved of the stress of close supervision and monitoring to avoid violence among animals. The scope of the study is limited to violence detection in cattle, goat, horse and sheep. Different machine learning models were built for each animal. The models yielded good results; the horse violence detection model had an outstanding performance of 93% accuracy, 93% accuracy for the sheep model, 88% accuracy for the goat model and 84% accuracy for the cattle model.

Abstract

Motorcycle sales have increased significantly, motorcycle manufacturers are competing to produce the latest models which are then sold to consumers. As a result, motorcycle dealers are overwhelmed with more and more data, not knowing what to do with it. Motorcycle dealers also have difficulty calculating the total sales of motorcycles. We try to provide solutions to deal with data overflow. We propose designing a star schema as the basis for creating a data warehouse. To create a star schema, we propose a four-step sequence in creating an effective star schema, starting from requirements analysis and reporting, understanding business processes, connecting and matching business processes with suitable entities and determining the dimensions of the business processes. We get a star schema with 1 fact table, motorcycle_sales and 11 of dimension tables, such as brand, color, customer, customer_contract, distributor, district, motorcycle, repair_workshop, sell_location, type and time. The star schema is an optimized model that provides the best performance in presenting more complex information

Abstract

Technology and communication is currently growing along with the increasing needs of each individual in various fields such as: business, education, agriculture, health and technology. With the development of technology today, everyone can communicate and obtain and convey various information needed anytime and anywhere quickly, accurately and dynamically.Sales is an activity of buying and selling products or goods carried out between sellers and buyers, can interact within the same scope or online by using legal payment transactions. Building materials are materials used to design buildings such as houses, mosques, schools etc. For buildings, many natural materials are used such as: clay, sand, wood or bamboo, stone and others. In this study, the implementation of the c45 method and an artificial neural network to predict sales for the next year. The sale of building materials at the prayer shop, whose sales are not yet computerized by designing a computerized sales system. Toko Doa Mama is a building shop that sells various building materials such as: sand, paint, wood, or bamboo, saws, cement, roof tiles, gravel, nails, bricks, and others. But sales and marketing are still not computerized which results in frequent errors in calculating sales transactions, data collection of incoming goods and outgoing goods which are still in the form of archives, resulting in accumulation and lack of data security. Therefore, we need a computerized where the computer can help a job to be more effective and efficient

Abstract

Indonesia's richness in culture requires special attention in terms of its preservation, therefore it is important for us to maintain and preserve Songket cloth, especially its motifs which are rich in the philosophy of local wisdom so that they can be passed down to the next generation. Information technology can be used to solve these problems, especially for digital catalogs that can be used to help preserve Songket cloth through digitizing the motifs on each cloth. Through digitization, it will be easy to get information about the shape of the motif, the name of the motif, the philosophy contained in the motif through an application. The purpose of this study was to build a digital catalog system on the WEB-based Minangkabau Songket motif. The development of this system is carried out by means of data collection, system analysis, system design, and system implementation. This system is built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The results of this study provide a tool in the form of a Minangkabau Songket Motif Digital Catalog system. Abstract

West Sumatra is famous for its embroidery. Usually embroidery is found on mukena, hijab, brackets, koko clothes, and others. The issue of marketing and brand promotion is still one of the biggest obstacles for embroidery businesses in increasing their business scale. Embroidery business actors often experience problems in selling their products. This cannot be separated from the tendency of these business actors to focus more on the production process without being balanced by marketing and promotion. Some embroiders, when the goods are available, they are confused about what to do to sell it quickly. As a result, the marketing and promotion steps taken tend to be conventional, namely word of mouth or simply displaying their products in stores. To overcome these problems, the authors conducted research to design a marketplace application to help business people to easily promote their products. In conducting this research the author uses the SDLC method. While the development of software in the design of this decision support system the author uses the PHP programming language. The results of this study are a marketplace application that can make it easier for customers to access products without having to come to the place, make purchases, transfer payments or online anywhere, so as to increase customer buying interest

Abstract

To Fine the performance of information technology that can easily make decisions, so that the performance of the technology used is more effective and efficient, it is necessary to carry out an information technology audit at the BPKAD office. In this study, the standard used is COBIT 4.1, Using the calculation of the Maturity Level which represents the level of technology alignment information and objectives of the Agency. The calculation of the Maturity Level value will be carried out in the Acquire and Implement (AI2, AI3, AI4, AI5) and Deliver and Support (DS7, DS10, DS12, DS13) domains. The BPKAD office already uses information technology in every process of its activities. The overall results in the agency reached level 4 (Managed). From the level results obtained, recommendations were made that could be applied by the BPKAD office to reach the desired level, namely level 5 (Optimized) so that it could support the performance of the agency to be even better in terms of information technology

Abstract

Flying Horse Coffee is one of the well-known brands of ground coffee in Padang. Each period this coffee company produces large quantities of coffee, so that the manufacture of coffee only refers to the maker. Therefore, it is important to plan on the amount of coffee production so that the Company does not experience large losses due to the remaining unsold coffee because it is not precise in determining the amount of production. The purpose of this study was to determine the amount of coffee production prediction accurately in preparing the required resources. This study uses Monte Carlo Logic in planning the amount of production. The Monte Carlo method is one of the sciences that developed the same way of thinking as humans and can analyze problems that contain elements of uncertainty. The data that is processed is data on demand, supply and production based on the results of per period reports. Results This study uses the Monte Carlo method to predict the amount of coffee production accurately, from testing 44 samples of test data. The Monte Carlo method can predict the amount of production so that it can be used as a recommendation for the Company in predicting the amount of coffee production optimally. And then the company can minimize losses caused by inappropriate production

Abstract

At the beginning of March, Indonesia was hit by the entry of the corona virus (covid) outbreak. Every day the cases of the spread of covid-19 in Indonesia continue to increase. The public is asked to carry out social distancing in order to break the chain of the spread of Covid-19 which is spread in various regions in Indonesia. Therefore, the data that has been accommodated is certainly a lot, from the data it can be seen that the patterns of determining the grouping of the spread of Covid-19 are based on test scores. Public. K-Medoids is a partitional clustering analytical method that aims to get a set of k-clusters among the data that is closest to an object in grouping a data. The results of the study of grouping the spread of the new covid-19 show that people come from various regions in Indonesia. Characteristics with a body temperature above 36.9 C and accompanied by fever and continuous cough show one of the symptoms of Covid-19.

Abstract

Ultra Computer merupakan toko yang bergerak di bidang service dan penjualan laptop ini mengalami kesulitan mengenai dalam mengatasi kerusakan laptop pada client dan penulisan laporan yang belum terkomputerisasi. Metode yang digunakan penulis dalam penelitian ini yaitu Forward Chaining dengan cara pengambilan data langsung ke Toko Ultra Computer. Analisa berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan bahwa kendala yang dialami yaitu teknisi kesulitan dalam mengatasi kerusakan pada laptop baik itu kerusakan pada hardware maupun software Hasil dari penelitian sehingga sistem pakar mampu mendiagnosa kerusakan pada laptop dapat mempermudah pihak toko sehingga dapat melakukan diagnosa kerusakan secara cepat, tepat dan efisien. Diterapkannya rancangan sistem pakar diagnosa pada laptop ini tentunya sangat memberikan pengaruh yang besar bagi pihak toko tanpa perlu kesulitan lagi dalam melakukan diagnosa kerusakan pada laptop client dan pencatatan data nya lebih akurat sehingga dapat menjadi patokan bagi kerusakan-kerusakan yang lain dan penyimpanan data nya pun lebih aman dibanding pada sebelumnya. Alat bantu yang digunakan dalam perancangan sistem ini menggunakan UML dan pembuatan programnya menggunakan Bahasa pemrograman PHP dan didukung dengan database MySQL.
