In the advent of Information and Communications Technology in education, competence and skills for technology-based instruction are essential for teachers. With this, there is a need to continually train and equip teachers with understanding and capabilities that will enable them to maximize the utilization of ICT in their instructional practices. Hence, this research determined the correlation of teachers' level of ICT competence towards their ICT integration practices and corroborated it to existing findings in Thailand and Vietnam. Using a descriptive-correlational design, the researchers found a link between and among variables. The chosen respondents for the study consisted of one-hundred and nineteen (119) teachers from private institutions in a district in Bulacan. Results showed that teachers exhibited competence towards ICT integration. More so, teachers highly practiced ICT integration as part of their instructional practices and strategies in teaching. Results of regression analysis of the data revealed that the six dimensions of ICT competence significantly correlated to the teachers' ICT integration practices. The pedagogical practices and competence of Filipino teachers are the same as the Thai and Vietnamese teachers towards ICT Integration. It is recommended that schools maintain teachers' competence and confidence towards ICT integration thru enhancement or faculty development programs.

This was a descriptive study which determined and analyzed the perceptions of parents on the printed modular distance learning in an elementary school. There were 50 parent respondents selected via convenience sampling. Parents’ perceptions were along the manner of distributing modules, retrieval of modules, time allotment for learning activities, the learning activities in the module, assessment and observance of safety and health protocols in the distribution and retrieval of modules. Questionnaires were distributed to the parents through the Purok Leaders who were responsible in the distribution and retrieval of the learning modules. Weighted mean was used to analyze the responses of the parents in the questionnaires. Finding revealed that parents mostly agreed to the strategies in the distributing modules, retrieval of modules, time allotment for learning activities, the learning activities in the module, assessment and highly agreed to the observance of safety and health protocols in the distribution and retrieval of modules. However, parents claimed that time allotment in the completion of learning activities was insufficient since the activities were so many. In addition, some parents claimed that they could not understand some topics in the module so they could not help their children in answering the learning activities. The research then recommended for a review of the learning activities and conduct seminar for parents to guide them in assisting their children during their “classes “at home. An action plan was developed to improve the implementation of the modular learning in the new normal.

This research paper presented the experiences of a group of countries as pioneering models in the field of e-government and compared them to Jordan with the aim of evaluating their status at the global and continental levels. Methods for measuring and evaluating the development of E-government suggested using a method called multi-practice are a practice of multi methodology, which combines methods and techniques, and proposes to evaluate the tangible and intangible benefits of e-government, which shows that the multiplicity of aspects of measurement may lead to a kind of reliability in e-government also Methods for measuring and evaluating e-government performance proposed by international organizations,By United Nations E-Government Survey The comparison and evaluation were done using the e-government maturity index issued by the United Nations EGDI, which includes the Telecommunication Infrastructure Index (TII) and The human capital Index (HCI), and the Online Service Index (OSI) e-government service sub-indicator, in the period between 2008 and 2020, and this comparison comes in order to benefit from these experiences, redress weaknesses, and exploit the opportunities available to Jordan to develop its e-government, keep pace with the global movement and raise its efficiency in a way that serves the goals of sustainable development The results were that Jordan, according to by United Nations E-Government Survey Jordanian e-government is still in the first generation It has many improvements performance on the e-government index the change in the EGDI . Some comparisons of Jordan with Arab countries have been presented in the EGDI in 2020 for the United Nations report

The School of Tomorrow (S.O.T.) having the Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) here in the Philippines promises that they can give the most advanced twenty-first-century educational system available, but the experiences and grievances of S.O.T. graduates stated otherwise. This case study intends to determine the key informant's experiences in transitioning from Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) institution to conventional schools in Capiz. This study utilized interviews, observation, and data reviews in gathering the data while the Mayring (2002) approach was utilized in analyzing the data. Themes came out from the constructs of the interviewees in Capiz, like S.O.T. curriculum is offered in Pre-School to Junior High School only, difficulty in transitioning from S.O.T. school to conventional schools offering Senior High School Program and conventional schools must be adopted and integrated to the S.O.T. Junior High School. The output of the research is the proposed new S.O.T. curriculum model to help address the existing problems

The Philippines has the potential to excel in this field because an athlete's height is not a requirement compared to other sports like swimming, basketball, and the likes. This is qualitative research specifically employs a single case study to explore the narratives of the young aerobic gymnasts in the Municipality of Malay, Aklan. This study utilizes online interviews, observation, and data reviews in gathering the data while Yin's (2003) approached was utilized in the analysis of data. Themes emerged from stories of the participants like Personal Skills and Motivations of Young Aerobic Gymnasts is Foundational in Winning the Competition, Present DepEd Curriculum Lacks Content in Aerobic Gymnastics and Parents, School, Government, and Business Sector Support are Significant Factors for a Gymnast to Succeed. The descriptive-correlational research examined the awareness, attitude, and implementation of science spiral curriculum concerning students’ academic performance. Findings revealed that teachers are moderately aware, have a favorable attitude, and moderately implemented the science curriculum, including objectives, methodology, learning resources, and assessment were relatively implemented while facilities were less implemented. It was also determined that they have a satisfactory rating in a science subject regarding students’ performance. The level of awareness, attitude, and implementation of the K to 12 science curriculum regarding sex, academic qualification, and teaching length had no significant difference. Finally, it revealed further that the level of awareness, attitude, and implementation of the spiral progression curriculum to students’ academic performance has no significant relationship to the aforementioned variable. Thus, enhancement programs, skills training, and the procurement of science laboratory equipment are needed to enhance the educational process to meet the K to 12 science curriculum set standards

This cross-sectional study aimed to determine the associations of the extent of Social Contagion - Conscious Behavioral Response (CBR) towards Astrology on social media among Filipino Post-Millennial university students aged 18 to 23 years old with their demographics, Stress Level (SL), and Level of Susceptibility to Barnum effect (LSB) during the COVID-19 pandemic. A total of 406 respondents participated in the online survey and data were analyzed using descriptive and non-parametric inferential statistics. Findings showed that respondents have high SL, moderate CBR level, and high LSB. Female respondents were found to have significantly higher CBR Factor Scores compared too males (p< 0.000). Thus, the females tended to be more consumers of Astrology in the social media. Other variables tested (religion, p=0.128; residence type, p= 0.736; age, p= 0.339) showed no statistical significant difference between the sample’s CBR Factor Scores. Also, a person’s stress level during the COVID-19 pandemic (in terms of the situation’s manageability and uncertainty) revealed a statistical significant association with their susceptibility to the Barnum effect (odds ratio 1.252686, p= 0.002). Thus, the more stressed a person is, he tend to manifest higher consumption of Astrology related information in the social media due to high uncertainty and less capacity to control the situation despite high management capacity score. Furthermore, activities involved in the consumption of Astrology through social media revealed a positive moderate significant association with their level of susceptibility to the Barnum effect (r=0.603, p<0.000). In a pandemic situation, the females consumed more Astrology related information even if the information is vague and may be to general to absorbed. Overall, the higher the SL and the higher the CBR, the higher the LSB. Thus, in this period of COVID-19 pandemic, females are more susceptible to higher level of Barnum Effect as they consumed higher level of Astrology related information triggered by higher level of stress brought by the high level of uncertainty and low level of individual’s control to thee current pandemic situation

The education system in our country also adjusted to the new normal set-up. The new normal set-up is not easy for everyone to immediately cope up with. It requires us to take things to a new approach of learning online. It pushed us to adapt to the settings we are not used to, and we are having difficulty coping with this set-up we are currently in. Also, the professors are having problems finding ways to provide a better way for the students to learn more effectively. From what we are having right now about the new way of education, there were several expected and known challenges that graduate students will meet and have met during their schooling. We cannot change the fact that our new way of living nowadays caused by a deadly virus leads us all into numerous difficulties to continue our everyday life. Specifically, this paper presented the experience by the respondents about the degree of online learning barriers. Identified barriers included in the study are administrative/instructor issues, social interactions, time and support for homework, technical skills, technical problems, academic skills, learner motivation, cost and access to the Internet. A survey questionnaire adapted from Muilenburg & Berge (2005) was used in this study.The weighted mean for measuring the challenges level is the statistical tool used in the data processing. Based on the results, Infrastructure and internet bandwidth should be the priority for investment. For higher education Institution, an increase awareness about online learning among teachers is encouraged. Teachers must attend and as much as possible, participate in webinars and open online courses (MOOCs) available. Moreover, it is highly recommended that before any online learning, qualified and trained online facilitators and technical support must be formed.

This phenomenological study explored the lived experiences, challenges, and complicated life of 12 mothers who are pursuing their collegiate degree in a state university while rearing and taking care of their children. Participants met the inclusion criteria of a student mother, which includes (1) a bonafide student of a tertiary state institution; (2) a biological mother; (3) residing with her child/children; and (4) willingness to participate in the inquiry. Three major themes emerged in the participants’ lived experiences, which include (1) hustles and bustles of student mothers’ life; (2) driving factors of student mothers; and (3) coping mechanisms of two-faced mothers. The findings revealed that the participants faced adversities and struggles as a mother and as students and remained more steadfast and more resilient in fulfilling their dreams to finish their collegiate degree and receive a university diploma. The lived experiences of the student mothers have established implications to policies in the university, which involves the creation of daycare centers inside the campus for the children of student mothers as well as the conduct of psychosocial debriefing and stress reduction programs by the Gender and Development (GAD) office for the student mothers.

The air is full of pessimism. The impact of Covid-19 has been anticipated as more awful than the Great Depression of 1930. Consistently analysts and agency reports are plunging into new bottoms of a tumbledown in economic activities. Indian economy, however, has a somewhat slightly different story to tell at this hour of crisis. The silver lining for the Indian economy originates from a lofty fall in crude oil costs from around $70 per barrel to a record multi-year low of $22 per barrel. They have ascended to levels of around $40 per barrel over the most recent months. This benefit increases can somewhat balance the immediate misfortunes due to Covid-19. Simultaneously, dreams like a $5 trillion economy no longer look even a distant chance. This article checks out the possible effect of Covid-19 on Indian economic development through a survey of 400 professionals the nation over.
