Occupational Health Nursing Focusing on the basic concepts of health and community nursing, health programs / government policies in addressing priority health problems in Indonesia, community nursing care and issues related to issues and trends in community health problems in the context of major health services with an emphasis on improving health, preventing disease and health care. Mental Health Nursing Focusing on nursing efforts in primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention of clients with bio-psycho-socio-spiritual problems and mental health disorders, individual therapeutic relationships in the family context, therapeutic modalities of nursing, mental health / nursing issues and trends in Indonesia and the role of nurses and prevention of mental health / nursing problems. Maternity Nursing Focusing on understanding the concepts and theories of maternity nursing and government policies in improving the health of women of childbearing age, pregnant women, mothers of birth, mothers after childbirth, and their babies up to 40 days in normal conditions their families. Pediatric Nursing Focusing on optimizing child growth through a comprehensive approach to solving biopsychosocial problems in a healthy range of illnesses and acute, chronic and life threatening conditions. Nursing Education Nursing education includes instruction in topic areas. These are nursing assessment, nursing diagnosis, and nursing care planning. In the United States, nursing students learn through traditional classroom and lab instruction. Abstract

Introduction: Efforts to overcome the effects of the aging process are a problem for the majority of the elderly, including those who live with their families. Family has an important role in providing old age with a good quality of life. The quality of life of the elderly is influenced by various factors such as social relationships, social environment, psychological factors, and social activities. This study aims to determine the relationship between family function and quality of life in the elderly. Methods: The research design used was a correlation study, with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used was multistage random sampling, the number of samples was 95 people. Data collection used the World Health Organization's Quality of Life-OLD (WHOQOL-OLD) questionnaire. Results The results showed that there was a relationship between family support using family apgar and the quality of life of the elderly (p = 0.002).  Conclusion: It is recommended for families to provide optimal support by paying attention to the adaptability of the elderly, closeness, development, providing opportunities for the elderly to express feelings, and solving problems for a better quality of life for the elderly.

Abstract

Introduction: A healthy diet is a way or effort in regulating the number and type of food with certain intentions such as maintaining health, nutritional status, preventing or helping to cure disease. Blood pressure is the power caused by the heart that contracts like a pump, so that blood continues to flow in the blood vessels. A person's blood pressure can be more or less than the normal value limit. The trigger factor for changes in blood pressure is one of them about food consumption patterns, such as consuming excess salt. Methods: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of food consumption patterns with increased blood pressure. The design of this study uses analytics using the Case Control and sampling approach that is used is a non probability sampling with a number of 60 people and the number of samples taken by 36 respondents. Data collection used questionnaires coded, scored, tabulated and analyzed using the Chi-Square test. Results: The results of the study were 20 respondents (56%) with dietary patterns that did not fit the diet, 20 respondents (56%) with high blood pressure, from the Chi-Square analysis of 0,000 showed a significant value, meaning H0 was rejected or there was a relationship between consumption patterns food with increased blood pressure. Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between food consumption patterns and an increase in blood pressure.

Abstract

Introduction: Indonesia is ranked 4th in the world for the number of diabetics according to WHO, and most of diabetics experience complications, one of which is ulcer diabetikum. This can be a trigger for the emergence of body image disorders from diabetics, so researchers need to know the picture of ulcus sufferers' body image to later be mapped and make it easier in subsequent handling. The research objective is to describe the image of body image in patients with diabetes mellitus with ulcus complications. Physical changes in the body can affect body image and self-esteem Methods: Design of this study used a descriptive research design, the population in this study were all patients who have diabetes mellitus with ulcus diabeticum in Ibnu Sina Hospital Gresik regency with a sample of 20 respondents, samples were taken by using purposive sampling technique. Data collection using questionnaires with 15 multiple choices question. Furthermore, the data were analyzed with coding, scoring, tabulating presentatif, and described. Results: The results showed a total of 20 respondents obtained ii'om 5 respondents (25%) have a good body image, 7 respondents (35%) had a poor body image and 8 respondents (40%) who did not have a good body image.  Conclusion: Based on the results of this study indicate that in patients with diabetes mellitus who are already experiencing complications of ulcus diabetic almost half of respondents do not have a good body image, and a small proportion of respondents have a good body image. This is due to several factors, namely the respondents admitted that the wounds on his legs is a sign of personal failure on him therefore to improve body image and the changing assessment of the physical condition and provide social support.

Abstract

Introduction: One problem of adolescents at the age of 11-20 years who have not entered adulthood is fluor albus. In the initial survey, more than half of the students (70%) had vaginal discharge problems. This study aimed to determine the effect of binahong leaves decoction (AnrederaCordifolia) on healing Flour Albuson female Student of class XI  SMAN 1 Paciran, Lamongan District. Methods: The design used pre-experimental method with one grouppre test and post test. The population was all female students who had fluor albus of 34 children and  sample of 25 children with consecutive sampling techniques that the inclusion creteria. The data were analyzedusing  Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test, with significance level of p <0.05 using SPSS V program 22.0. Results: The results of statistical tests showed that the values of Z: -4.613b and p = 0.000 where p <0.05, H1 was accepted, meaning that there was an effect of binahong leaves decoction (AnrederaCordifolia) on  healing Flour Albus. This study indicated that binahong leaf decoction herbs can reduce and even healing fluor albus with good personal hygiene behavior.

Abstract

Introduction: Post-placental IUD is a long-term contraceptive method with an effective pregnancy prevention 0.6-0.8 pregnancies / 100 women. Installation that is carried out when the mother gives birth has an impact on the coverage of contraceptive use from an early age. Post-placental IUD contraceptives are not only effective in the long term for up to 10 years but are also affordable contraceptives for people from low to high economies status. Currently, these contraceptives can be purchased or installed for free. Contraception does not interfere with milk production, does not require routine follow-up to the hospital, contraceptive examinations can be done independently. The purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge about the post-placenta IUD contraceptive method. Methods: This study used a descriptive design, with a population of 98 people and a sample of 54 people. The sampling used is purposive sampling. Collecting data with a closed questionnaire. Data processing and data analysis by editing, scoring, coding, tabulating and presented in narrative form then draw conclusions. Results: Based on the results of the study, it was found that most (78.1%) pregnant women had less knowledge about Post Placenta IUD contraception. Conclusion: The reference of this study is to increase knowledge about the Post Placenta IUD (Intra Uterine Device) contraceptive method in pregnant women. Periodic health education regarding this contraceptive method during pregnancy so that at delivery, post placenta IUD contraception can be immediately installed.

Abstract

Introduction: The Lactation Amenorrhoea Method or MAL is contraception that relies exclusively on breastfeeding or breast milk. From the initial survey the study found 40% of those who had not participated in Family Planning or Family Planning, and 60% who had taken the Pill and Injections. The aim of the study was to describe the knowledge of MAL in nursing mothers in the Soko Sub-District Health Center Working Area, Tikung Subdistrict, Lamongan Regency. Methods: This study used a descriptive design, with a population of 40 people and a sample of 30 people. The sampling used was Consecutive Sampling. Data collection with questionnaire sheets, after the data collected is done Editing, Coding, Tabulating, Scoring, percentage of data then analyzed descriptively data. Results: Based on the results of research on knowledge of breastfeeding mothers about MAL, most (53.3%) had insufficient knowledge, and a small percentage (6.7%) had good knowledge. The conclusion of this study is that most nursing mothers have less knowledge about MAL. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that most breastfeeding mothers have less knowledge about the Lactation Amenorrhoea Method or MAL.

Abstract

Introduction: The Covid-19 pandemic which hit 215 countries has an impact on all aspects of life for the world community, including Indonesia. One of the most significant impacts is the world of education. The government policy towards education is to do distance learning or learning from home. This changing learning system raises various problems, especially for nursing students. Competencies that must be mastered by nursing students, especially at the final level, apart from a cognitive perspective, are also abilities in the psychomotor field and skills where this ability is obtained by laboratory practice and the ability to provide direct nursing care to patients in the hospital. This change raises its own problems for student psychology, students have feelings of anxiety and worry about their studies. Students also questioned whether they can graduate at the specified time. This study aims to analyze the relationship between anxiety and coping mechanisms in final semester nursing students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: This study used a descriptive correlational design with a cross sectional approach. The population is students of the Akper Pemkab Ngawi in the final semester of the 2018/2019 academic year, the sampling technique used is total sampling with a total of 110 respondents. The anxiety instrument used is the STAI measurement scale and the scale of the coping mechanism. The statistical test used is the Pearson correlation. Results: The results obtained were that there was a significant relationship between anxiety and the coping mechanism used by students with a value of p = 0.007 for the state anxiety scale and p = 0.000 for the trait anxiety scale.  Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the final semester student anxiety during the Covid-19 pandemic is more towards momentary anxiety, where this could have happened because the feeling of uncertainty in their study was related to the covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

Introduction: Physical conditions in adolescence are a source of changes in self-identity and self-concept, many of which are caused by physical images. As in adolescents who have acne or acne, where this often occurs in adolescents aged 15-19 years in women and 17-21 in men. One of the effects of the occurrence of acne in adolescents is the emergence of coping mechanisms that are adaptive mall. This is reinforced from the results of the initial survey conducted by researchers in grade 3 students at MTs Assa'ada Kandangan, Sambeng District, 10 students obtained data that 7 or 70% of students with acne used a maladaptive coping mechanism and 3 or 30% of students used a mechanism adaptive coping. The purpose of this study was to identify the picture of coping mechanisms in adolescents who have acne vulgaris at MTs Assa’ada class 3 Kandangan Sambeng District.Methods: The design used in this study was descriptive with sampling techniques using total sampling and the instruments used were questionnaires with closed questions to respondents. From the results of the questionnaire data grouping and data tabulation were carried out by descriptive method and transformed in the form of narratives and percentages.Results: The results of the study showed that most respondents had adaptive coping mechanisms. This may be influenced by several factors including: gender and age. Conclusion: The experience factor of the respondents is quite adequate this is because of the time the acne appears itself. If the acne arises the respondent has an effective method or trick in the association to show his confidence. The occurrence of acne that is common in adolescence, then over time teenagers will be able to adjust to the situation, because it is considered normal thing and often occurs in adolescence.

Abstract

Introduction: Adolescence is one of the stages of life. Adolescents hope that the future of the nation needs to be taken care of physically and mentally and socially as a whole (Law No. 61/2014 about Reproductive Health), as well as all matters relating to the system and functions and processes of reproduction. In Indonesia the incidence of unwanted pregnancy in adolescents has a percentage of 17%. Adolescent reproductive health education about unwanted pregnancy is very important to be known by adolescents as one of the preventions of unwanted pregnancy. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of reproductive health education on adolescent knowledge level about unwanted pregnancy in adolescent Palalangon. Methods : The study design uses a pre-experimental design one group pretest-posttest design, using a purposive sampling technique and obtained a total sampling of 39 respondents. The method of data collection is done by using a questionnaire statement totaling 25 items. Results : The results showed that 38 respondents (97.4%) before the health education program was knowledgeable and less than 1 person (2.6%) knowledgeable, whereas after health education all respondents had a good knowledge with a percentage (100%). The conclusion of Wilcoxon's statistical test analysis results obtained sig (0.00) <sig (0.05) which means that there is an effect of adolescent reproductive health education between knowledge before and after health education. Conclusion: Health care workers are expected to be able to carry out health education specifically on adolescent reproductive health as one of the preventions of unwanted pregnancy problems among adolescents

Abstract

Introduction: Hypertension is often a silent killer because it is often without symptoms that warn of a problem. Symptoms that appear are often considered as common disorders, so that the victim is too late to realize that the disease is coming. Hypertension is an increase in blood pressure above normal limits with systolic value of 140 mmHg and diastolic value of 90 mmHg. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of hypertension in patients with primary hypertension in Karangbinangun Lamongan District. Method: This research design using descriptive with a population of 70 respondents then sampled using simple random sampling and get a sample of 64 respondents, in accordance with the inclusion criteria, are healthy patients and willing to sign the informed consent The variable in this study is the level of hypertension. The data of this study were taken from the results of blood pressure measurements by standards WHO. The data is tabulated in the form of frequency distribution by categorizing hypertension into mild, moderate and severe. Result: The results showed that half of the respondents (50%) had mild hypertension, 28.1% moderate hypertension and 21.9% severe hypertension. Conclusion: Seeing the results of this study, that there are still many people who have hypertension, so health education by health workers and family is needed to prevent recurrence.
