Abstract

This study aims to find out about the influence of multisensory methods in improving the language skills of children aged 5-6 years in Al-Islam kindergarten Maron Genteng Banyuwangi in the 2018-2019 school year. Explaining about the 7 subjects studied 5 boys and 2 girls and the activities carried out in the school related to the multisensory method. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The technique in collecting data here uses data triangulation in the form of observation, interviews and documentation, as well as source triangulation. The results of this study can be concluded that the multisensory learning method influences the language skills of children aged 5-6 years in the Al-Islam kindergarten Maron Banyuwangi evidenced by not only facilitating children's activities in school but also facilitating the activities of children at home. This is evidenced by interviews with parents from each research subject.

Abstract

Early childhood is an individual who is undergoing a process of rapid and fundamental development for the next life. Early childhood never stops to explore and learn, besides that the child is egocentric, unique, rich in fantasy and the child is at the most potential time for learning. Rapid and fundamental development for the next life. Early childhood has certain characteristics that are distinctive and different from adults, children are always active, dynamic, enthusiastic, have a high curiosity about things that are seen, heard, and felt by children. Early childhood never stops to explore and learn, besides that the child is egocentric, unique, rich in fantasy and the child is at the most potential time for learning. This research will be conducted at Kindergarten Dharma Indria II, Sumbersari District, Jember Regency. Observation activities during the learning process include observing teacher teaching and learning activities of children in class. This activity was assisted by 4 observers, namely group A teacher, Umud Nuril ‘Aini, Puji Nurul Avini, and Tsalistatul Mas’udah. The researcher acts as the teacher observed by the A2 group teacher, Mother. Miftah fardhiyah, while Umud Nuril ‘Aini was in charge of observing the red group children, Puji Nurul Avini observed the yellow group children, and Tsalistatul Mas' had observed the green group children. Observations to teachers are made to assess the suitability of teacher teaching activities with the daily activity plan (RKH)

Abstract

This research aims to know the effectiveness of leadership manajement in nature school of Jogja Kindergarten Green School especially for the strategy, the managerial and also the operational in order to determine the result of education quality. The research method uses qualitative approach with case study design, reveal descriptively phenomenon or case in a certain location which promotes naturalness. The result of this research shows that leadership menegement in Jogja Kindergarten Green School gets a positive result. It is proven with the output of the school in which the alumni of this school have abilities that are appropiated with some children development aspects established by goverment. The important thing is the alumni of this school have humanist character that can be used as an important foundation for future succession. Management of this nature school is done in three strategies. The first strategy is in culinary field. Second strategy is in extracurricular field. The third strategy is in enviromental menagement education infrastructure field.

Abstract

The cognitive domain deals with the process of evaluating individual thinking abilities or problem solving abilities. There are 9 characteristics of cognitive development, which can understand the concept of opposite meanings such as empty-full, light-heavy, top-bottom, and so on. Can match geometric shapes (circles, squares and triangles) with real objects or through visualization of images, Can stack blocks or rings according to their size in sequence. Can group objects that have the same color, shape, and size. Can mention pairs of objects, able to understand cause and effect. Can arrange daily activities and show when each activity is carried out. Retell 3 main ideas from a story. Recognize and read writing through images that are often seen at home or at school. Recognize and mention numbers 1-10. This cognitive domain assessment technique uses rating scales, check lists and anecdocate notes.

Abstract

Numeracy is a basic ability that must be possessed by children. Through arithmetic, children will learn to solve problems (problem solving) accustomed to arithmetic which always happens in every day-to-day activities. But early childhood introducing numbers is not easy, therefore it is needed support as a medium or interesting game for children so that the introduction of numbers and counting becomes easy and fun. The purpose of this study is to implement the number train game to improve the numeracy ability of group B children in Al-Islah Genteng Banyuwangi Kindergarten. The method used is a Hopkins model classroom action research with research subjects 25 children in group B procedures for data collection by observation, and tests. Qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that there was a significant increase in the ability to count early childhood through the numbers train game.
