Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is background by the performance of teachers at SD Metta Maitreya who are still not professional, there are still scores of students who take KKM and there are still teachers who lack teacher responsibility at work. Therefore, this study aims to determine the relationship between organizational culture and teacher performance at SD Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru. The research method used is a survey method with correlational techniques. The study population was 24 teachers of SD Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru, so the sample was 24 people. The data collection instrument was in the form of a questionnaire or questionnaire. The validity and reliability of the performance questionnaire and organizational culture have been tested. The data normality test was carried out by the Kolmogorov Smirnov test. The data analysis used was multiple correlation analysis with a level of α = 0.05. The results of data analysis show that there is a significant relationship between Organizational Culture (X1) and Teacher Performance (Y) together with the regression equation Y = 102.421 + 0.567X1 with a correlation coefficient of 0.567. The results of this study are expected to be useful for improving the performance and organizational learning of SD Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru. The conclusion of this study shows that organizational learning (X1) has a partially significant relationship (individually) with teacher performance (Y) SD Metta Maitreya. Abstract

Abstract This study examines the teaching of Buddhist Religious Education for Young Children at Metta Maitreya Kindergarten, Pekanbaru by analyzing learning activities, from the perspectives of curriculum and teaching materials as well as planning and the evaluation system. We utilize a descriptive-analytic approach to field research and look at a variety of literature relevant to teaching religion to young children as a theoretical foundation for our research.The review of school document, field observations, and interviews with the head of the kindergarten and teachers are an integral part of our analytical approach. Our study finds that the teachers of this kindergarten understand the curriculum and have proficiently designed the study plans even though their implementation are at times isolated from the already-designed daily and weekly sketches (RPPH and RPPM). Furthermore, the evaluation of Buddhist religious education in this school is conducted daily and semi-annually (every semester) and the results of both tests indicate the overall progress and achievement of pupils. All of this illustrates that the implementation of Buddhist religious education at Metta Maitreya Kindergarten Pekanbaru has proceeded adequately for the purpose of achieving educational objectives stated in the curriculum. Yet, it still needs the principal and teachers further innovation and creativity, so that the teaching and learning processes become richer and are in accordance with the development of scientific progress and the dynamics of the new era. Abstract

ABSTRACTEntering the era of globalization makes the world like a small village. The current of globalization provides a lot of information, an example is the Buddhist education. Since Buddhism returned to Indonesia, Buddhist education has developed a lot. However, the current education of Buddhism is not sufficient, as evidenced by the number of children who claim to be Buddhists but their religious knowledge is minimal. This is very unfortunate, because this limitation means that the Buddha's Teachings cannot be described precisely so that it does not reveal the purpose of Buddhism itself. For this reason, it is necessary to have appropriate and gradual teaching methods, starting from easy to difficult material. That is why Buddhism must of course be studied in stages. This gradual teaching formula is known as Anupubbikatha. Through this research, we can see the discussion of Anupubbikatha according to the Pali Tipitaka to clarify the teachings of Buddhism in this era of globalization as well as contextually applicable solutions to be implemented in the Buddhist religious education curriculum. The limitations of this research are still based on the basic theories contained in the Pali Tipitaka and the implications of the sources. This research can be used as a reference and a foundation for further research to see the extent and how the implementation of this Anupubbikatha thematic in a teaching curriculum. The scope of this research is limited to studying the appropriate and gradual teaching materia ls of Buddhism based on the Pali Tipitaka, reviewing each of its points in detail, along with the solutions for its application so that it can be applied in the world of education.

Abstract

ABSTRACTCultural customs develop in the middle of society with their respective characteristics, acculturated with their beliefs. The cultural traditions that are integrated with Buddhism are complementary and in line with each area where Buddhism develops, this makes Buddhist communities have their own characteristics in each region. The purpose of writing the article Acculturation of the Local Wisdom Values of Mengawe in Buddhism will be able to provide understanding and understanding of the local values that exist in Buddhist society that have been integrated into the tradition so that Buddhists in each region have an understanding of the diversity of traditions and have their own characteristics so that they are able to mutually appreciate in diversity. This research is a qualitative research which is library research in which the research uses literature study and books as the main object. Mengawe is a custom and culture that unites people in the midst of diversity and is able to respect and support each other in the implementation process as a form of social beings that need each other, besides that Gawe also has family, social, togetherness, tolerance, and so on.

Abstract

Buddhists have varying economic status. Buddhists who are still economically weak are certainly less prosperous. The role of money is very important for mankind, because now everything needs money. By having an abundance of money, the welfare of Buddhists can be realized. With their wealth, Buddhists can contribute more economically to the welfare of the world. The purpose of writing this article is to find out the role of money in the welfare of Buddhists. The writing method is based on literature review from various sources of scriptures, books, articles and journals related to the role of money for the welfare of Buddhists. Buddhists, especially householders, are obliged to strive for the welfare of themselves and their families with Buddhist work ethics and earn a living according to Buddhist values. With the money they have, Buddhists can contribute more to the welfare of fellow human beings, especially for their families, nations and religions.
