Abstract

Pot Meets Pop (PMP) is a fashion company which specialist in jeans product. PMP is one the pioneer of jeans business in Indonesia. Now, PMP have more than 20 articles of product for the latest season. 70% of lineup product is a jeans product like bottoms and jackets. PMP vision is to be a business leader in Indonesia and South East Asia. To reach the goal, PMP have to increase overall performance such as production planning and marketing advertising. The methodology of this research use primary data which came from direct observation and secondary data which got from another source such as text book and internet. Direct observation already done in PMP office, story, and authorized store. All the research data would be gathered find the best solution for PMP problem. This research only use bottoms jeans product as an object to limiting the object research.Based on root causes analysis, there are four major problems; less market knowledge, advertising promotion, inventory recording, and forecast method. This study aims to solve the problem and find a solution for each problem.After processing data analysis has been done, the solution for every problem has found. The solution for 4 problems; software for inventory record, create advertising and promotion, all staff have to join the forum, and forecasting methods.After giving a solution to PMP, it needs to be implemented in PMP activity for forecasting and marketing. Abstract

Abstract. The transportation industry in Indonesia is the most important industry. It is because Indonesia is the largest archipelago country in the world. Therefore, the transportation industry needs to be maintained and developed. One of the ways is through PT Trans Indonesia which engaged in the transportation industry. However, based on preliminary study, PT Trans Indonesia is facing problems at staffs and supervisors level in Diklat Department. Where Diklat Department has 1 manager position, 3 supervisor positions, and 4 staff positions. The symptom in Diklat Department can be seen from main responsibility that can not be fully handled, unfair compensation, ineffectiveness and inefficient job description's presentation, and less maximize the opportunity to fulfill job holder's job. After done Problem Tree Analysis was known that the root of the symptom lies in the need for restructuring job analysis to obtain an updates job description and job specifications. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to improve job descriptions and job specifications at the staff and supervisor level. Restructuring is done by doing qualitative approach that includes of questionnaires and interviews. In analyzing the need for restructuring, researchers also use scondary data. The result of restructuring describes the change of content and format on job description and job specification. The amendment is based on adjustments to the needs and circumstances for addressing fairness compensation, less informative job description, and dealing with the number of employees who reduced. So, this research can achieve the existing problems to improve employee performance, especially for staff and supervisor in Diklat Department in PT Trans Indonesia.Keywords:  Job Analysis, Job Description, Job Specification

Abstract

Abstract: The researcher will try to Dance is the art of movement of the body, usually rhythmically, improvised steps and gestures. Children to adults prefer the art of dance. In dynamic and modern society, the trend changes rapidly and it makes the competition in Dance Industry become higher. Nowadays, many Indonesian people being a multitalented which they think needs to develop their talents, gain experiences and famous with join a dance agency. The objective of this research is to identify the customer perception of dance agency in Bandung. While, Wanna be Pro be ranked as the first established and best dance studio in Bandung. Then, this research will assist Wanna be Pro in finding what Wanna be Pro should develop or repair in gaining a better performance in the business.

Abstract

Music Business is an industry that requires not only musical ability but also other skills such as management skills, performance art, negotiating skills, etc. when we combine making music with making money; we become a part of the music business. This research will discuss about a musician called Balum (www.facebook.com/Balumguitar). This year Balum wants to increase the people awareness of Balum by release his first album. In developing his music career, the first step is to know who the fan is and what the characteristic of the fans is. To simplify, the problem can be expressed as: What is the characteristic of the fans of Balum? The objective of this research is to understanding the fans of Balum in terms of lifestyle and personality. By understanding those fans, Balum expected to have through understanding of his fan-base. From this point, plan a development strategy for his musical career. This research will also may be used by fellow musician as a reference for developing their own musical career in Indonesian market. The qualitative research will conduct to depict the characteristic of the existing fans. Personality approach is used to describe the personality of Balum’s fans. Demographic property and lifestyle trends among the existing fans also used to depict the characteristic of the fans. Abstract

Technology has advanced exponentially in the modern era. The development of technology has certainly increase the ease for human to do so much in so simple methods. This is also the concern for every business existing in the world in order to gain efficiency and effective. Many manufacturers of clothing's have implemented automated machinery and computerization to increase their productivity. Professionals agree that increased technological integration is benefiting companies by capitalizing on industry needs, employee engagement, and is generating increased productivity. One particular business organization in clothing industry is Rumah Busana Korina (RBK) which operates in Hijab clothing. Korina has only just recently improve their internal management towards technological advancements. In November 2018, they implement a system of POS. POS is an automation-based program designed to process all business calculation, particularly that of production and of sales. The author had previously conducted preliminary research on RBK. Without the technology, the owner stated that there may be lots of human error in the business operations of RBK. This intrigued the author to analyze how deep POS technology is implemented compared to its actual capability of the system. One of the method to identify how in-depth a technology is being accepted is by using Technology Acceptance Model. (TAM). TAM is a model that can be used to analyze the factors that influence the acceptance of a system or information system. The objectives of this research are to identify the acceptance of POS implementation towards employees work process in RBK, and to compare the implementation of POS in RBK with the actual intended use of the system. This research uses qualitative approach with utilizing interview and observation as data gathering tools. The author analyses the data using descriptive method. The result of this research shows that POS in Korina has been implemented well in some aspects, but not fully optimized. The usage of POS is limited due to the absence of system training. Abstract

Abstract.This research examines the use of Financial Ratios (ROA, Current Ratio, and Acid Test Ratio) and its effect on Firm Value of 14 Indonesia Firms in the Food and Beverages sector for period of 2010-2014. Tobin Q Ratio is used as the measure for Firm Value to investigate whether Financial Ratios has effect on Firm Value or not. This is investigated by using multiple regression analysis with ROA, CR, and ATR as the independent variable and Firm Value as dependent variable. The result of this study is that all three financial ratios has significant effect to firm value. ROA and Current Ratio have a positive relationship with Firm Value, while Acid Test Ratio has a negative relationship. On the basis of these findings, the study concludes that companies need to pay more attention on financial ratios and that there is increasing need for a more credible and comprehensive disclosure of financial ratios in the annual reports of firms. Keywords: Financial ratios; Firm Value; Multiple Regression Analysis; Tobin Q Ratio

Abstract

Business Process Management (BPM) has long been used by organizations to improve their business process to be more effective and efficient in order to gain competitive advantage. Information Technology has been long acknowledged as one of the important role for BPM. One of the famous information technology implementation is Human Resource Information System (HRIS) that is used to support Human Resource business process especially in administration field. PT. Oil Diamond is one of the companies in Indonesia that implement HRIS to enhance their HR activity effectiveness and efficiency and currently adding new features called E-Travel Management. This research is conducted to analyze the impact of the implementation of E-Travel Management in enhancing the efficiency, how successful the new system produce output that met the user expectation with less cost and effort, and effectiveness, how successful the new system in solving the previous problem, of Travel Management business process in PT. Oil Diamond personnel administration services. Four independent variables was used in this research which are System Quality, Ease of Use, Information Quality and Usefulness and one dependent variables which is User Satisfaction. Abstract

Investment is one of the tools for a company in gaining additional capital. This research will seeks the analysis of company financial performance and valuation as the fundamental tools in making investment decision on Indonesia construction sector, represented by 5 listed construction sector companies, which are PT Adhi Karya (ADHI), PT Wijaya Karya (WIKA), PT Nusa Konstruksi Enjiniring (DGIK), PT Total Bangun Persada (TOTL), and PT Surya Semesta Internusa (SSIA). By analyzing the financial performance, could be obtained the financial health condition of the company that will represent the company future to attract the investors. While the market approach valuation is used to see whether the company is undervalued or overvalued. Due to the development of Indonesia into a developed country, this sector has a high demand of work that make it always able to generate high net sales and profit for the past few years. This makes this sector one of the most secure stock to investing in. Moreover, the under value of their share price will give the investors possibilities of high return and probable increase of stock price on the future.Keywords: Construction sector, financial ratios, valuation, market approach, financial performance.

Abstract

Abstract. KPK was founded as an independent agency that has the power to both investigate and prosecute cases that involve law enforcement personnel or public officials. Because KPK was established out of the lack of public trust in the existing law enforcement agencies, it is important to keep this new agency free from the malpractice that is rampant in the nation’s civil service system. The need to establish an organizational culture that is based on integrity became critical to ensure that the officers could reject any undue influences and the attempt to clean up the bureaucracy could be made. The study sought to develop a conceptual framework of organizational culture in the law enforcement agencies by identifying the dimensions of the organizational culture in KPK. The methodology used in this study is the qualitative approach with semi-structured interview. The study utilized the data from interviews transcripts to determine the dimensions of the organizational culture of KPK as an anti-corruption agency. The organizational culture dimensions could be developed into research instrument and used by KPK to assess the impact that an organizational culture might have to the staff attitudes, behavior, and performance. Keywords:  Anti-Corruption Agency, KPK, Organizational Culture, Qualitative Study

Abstract

Abstract.This research focuses on finding the root problem of the construction delay that happened in several tasks at PT Rekayasa Industri’s CGPX project. The project was planned to start on June 27th, 2011 and planned to be finished on April 8th, 2013. However, the actual project was finished almost one year later than the planned finished date (March 20th, 2014), despite the fact that the project started on time. The project delays will be analyzed through systematical methodology to find root cause that makes the project finished late using Ishikawa Diagram, then the result will be presented using “5M” criteria. Finally, the best solution will be given as a feedback to the company to improve future project. The result shows that the most powerful delay is caused by human error. The recommendation given to the company is to increase the ability of workers to reduce the delays in these aspects. Way to increase the ability is by doing training, hire more professional person, recruit the third party, or give penalty if the drawing is late.Keyword: Project management, fishbone diagram, project delay, root cause analysis
