Abstract

Character education is a student's personality to become a better person. Both among schools and among the community, and these students also need to be taught to have good morals in the future. During the pandemic, the current implementation of learning is carried out online so that students will not miss lessons. Character education in online learning at MA Nizhamiyyah has a vision and mission, one of which is to create superior students in the fields of science and technology, to create superior students in the fields of skills, creativity, independence and to educate superior students in the fields of faith and piety. This study aims to describe the character education in learning from MA Nizhamiyah in the subject of Fiqh. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method with data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews, documentation. The results of this study indicate that character education in online learning in Fiqh subjects at MA Nizhamiyyah has been implemented by fiqh teachers ranging from religious values, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work and creativity. While the implementation of online learning in fiqh subjects at MA Nizhamiyah starts from the quality of learning, alignment with learning objectives, feedback, online learning techniques and learning facilities. This research can be useful for teachers to add references on how to build character for students. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the results of the validation of herbarium experts and learning media experts on the herbarium collection of plants used in the traditional ceremony of Sepasaran Bayi in the Jombang Regency. This research is development research that refers to the R&D (Research and Development) model. The R&D model has ten stages, but only the first five stages were used in this study. The procedures carried out include: 1) potential and problems, 2) data collection, 3) product design, 4) design validation, and 5) design improvement. The potential and problem stages were carried out to collect information related to the potential of the Sepasaran Baby traditional ceremony in the Jombang Regency. The data collection stage was carried out to collect data on the types of plants used in the traditional ceremony through interviews with resource persons. The instrument is an interview guide. The third stage is the preparation of the herbarium design. The fourth stage is design validation by involving one herbarium expert and one learning media expert. The instrument used is a validation sheet. The fifth stage is design improvement, namely the improvement of the herbarium based on the assessment and suggestions of the two validators. Data analysis was done descriptively. The results showed that the herbarium was declared quite feasible by the herbarium expert with a percentage of 80.00% while the results of the validation of the learning media experts showed that the herbarium was declared very feasible with a percentage of 95.00%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of learning mathematics using teaching materials in the form of LKPD with a Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach based on open-ended problems. The design used in this research is Research and Development with a development model developed by Dick and Carry. Subjects in this study were students of class X IPA at Al-bairuny Islamic Senior High School in the academic year 2020/2021. Design implementation is using One Group Pretest Posttest Design with instruments in the form of questionnaires and tests. Data on student's understanding of mathematical concepts were collected using instrument tests as many as 5 essay questions. The analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The results showed that (1) the validation of teaching materials is categorized as valid with an average score of 84,89% based on the expert judgment as well as the percentage of student’s responses to learning media of 80,29% categorized as feasible. (2) the effectiveness of teaching materials to reach the achievement of student’s competence gets an average score of 80,88 of the student learning outcomes and percentage of classical completeness of 89,47% categorized as very good. Based on the results of research findings and discussion, obtained the conclusion that the mathematics LKPD with the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach based on open-ended development is feasible and effective to be used in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

This research aims to develop self-learning media through digital literacy in valid and practical arithmetic line materials. This research is a research of developers using ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) methods. The analysis technique of this study uses validity analysis in the form of score value from validator and teacher response value. And practicality analysis in the form of the value of students' response to self-learning media through digital literacy. The results of this study produced independent learning products through digital literacy. Product feasibility is obtained based on validation tests and practicality tests. Material expert assessments score 80% with a valid classification. The assessment of teacher questionnaire response got a score of 85% with a very valid classification. Based on these results, it can be concluded that self-learning media through digital literacy is feasible to be used.

Abstract

This research aims to design ‘Gring- Med’ Grammar Learning Media which it focused on intermediate students in learning English at school. The research method used a Research and Development (R&D) method with using ADDIE model, this model consists of five sections which are analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. There are two validation of the feasibility of this product media. First, validation of materials, and the second is validation of media. Both of them have validated by each experts validator before trying to the students. The data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The result of implementation are in the form of an assessment of student work and suggestion of media Gring- Med. The result of implementation indicate that the acquisition average percentage of the assessment is 88,3% in the ‘very good’ category. So, based on the result of this research, it can be conclude that Gring-Med application of grammar learning media is suitable to help the students grade X of MA Al – Asy’ari.

Abstract

This research is a quasi-experimental quantitative study that focuses on solving mathematical problems with inductive approaches to experimental classes that apply virtual classes to edlinks while control classes with conventional classes. The population in this study is class X-A and X-B MAS Mamba'ul Ma'arif School Year 2021-2022. The population will be sampled in the study. The purpose of this study is to find out if the application of sevima edlink virtual class is better than conventional class with inductive approach in solving math problems of class X MAS Mamba'ul Ma'arif. Based on the results of statistical calculations using SPSS 21 application, on the results of pretest data and posttest hypothesis test using Independent Sample t-test obtained value which means that solving math problems through experimental classes with the sevima edlink app is better than a control class with conventional learning. Advice for other researchers sevima edlink application is the right application used to build and improve the ability to solve math problems and can also be used for all subjects at the high school level (SMA) equivalent.

Abstract

The integration of local wisdom, especially the Selapanan Bayi traditional ceremony, in the development of biology learning media has never been done. Through this research, biology learning media was developed in the form of a herbarium collection with plant specimens used were the types of plants used in the Selapanan Bayi traditional ceremony in Jombang Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the validation of herbarium expert and learning media expert on the products developed. This research is a type of research and development that refers to the R&D model, which consists of 10 stages. Only the first five stages were carried out in this study namely potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, and design revision. The instruments used were interview guide, herbarium expert validation sheet, and learning media expert validation sheet. The collected data were analyzed descriptively. The results of the herbarium expert’s validation of the developed product showed a value of 80 with the criteria quite feasible. As for the results of the expert validation of learning media, it shows a value of 95 with very feasible criteria. This indicates that the herbarium collection developed can be used as a biology learning media, especially for Plantae Kingdom material.

Abstract

The contamination test determines the microbiological contamination contained, does not exceed the limit of provisions to be able to determine the quality and safety of raw materials, because high microbiological contamination can endanger health. An example of microbiology is the bacterium Eschericia coli. E-coli is usually found in the feces of living things carried by the flow of water sources until it is absorbed by the soil. If the water source is used as drinking water by the community without going through a processing process and still contains e-coli bacteria. In this modern era, information is easily obtained through online and in the learning process. Learning will be more interesting if the learning media presented are varied. The following research is a development research that aims to determine the feasibility of electronic practicum instruction media. Media development uses a 4D model, with quantitative research data types obtained from scores and qualitative data obtained from suggestions. The results obtained from media experts are 84% Very Worthy, while material experts are 75% with proper criteria. The results obtained indicate that the media is feasible to be developed.
