Abstract

Small and medium industries is part of a national business that has a position and a huge potential in strengthening the structure of the national economy and has a significant role in employment, but on the other hand there are still many problems faced by small industries which are multi dimensions. External issues related to suppliers (suppliers), buyers, competitors, advances in information technology and so on. Internal problems associated with limited human resources (HR, low education levels, lack of motivation, abilities (skills) are also very limited, and low entrepreneurial spirit into its own problems that often result in a business carried on not optimal. Even small industry trends will be less competitive and difficult to develop compared to industries bigger. On the other hand there are many potential that has yet to be optimized. The purpose of this study are: (1) analyze the effect of simultaneously between motivation, ability to work and entrepreneurial spirit to business success, (2) analyze the effect of partially between motivation, ability to work and entrepreneurial spirit to business success, and (3) analyzing the dominant variable affecting the success of the business. This study uses the respondents business owners, primary data collection is done by distributing questionnaires to 79 business owners in the industrial centers. Because the population is less than 100, then the entire population being sampled Chips Tempe Sanan Malang. There are three independent variables were analyzed, namely: motivation, ability to work and entrepreneurial spirit. While the dependent variable is the success of the business. The collected data were then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis.The analysis showed the presence of simultaneous or partial influence between motivation variables (X1) , the ability to work (X2) and the entrepreneurial spirit (X2) to business success (Y) , indicated by the R2 value of 0.551 or 55.1 %. While that has the most dominant effect is variable entrepreneurial spirit (X3)

Abstract

Lots of companies are trying to take advantage of business opportunities that exist with the right marketing strategy. Seeing the business world is increasingly rapidly followed by increasing competition in today's business makes the company had to rethink the company's marketing strategy is critical. This study aims to determine the effect of the diversity of products and location toward consumer shopping decisions. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires, a study conducted on 100 respondents in the sample of consumers who shop in Alfamidi Jl. Soekarno Hatta in Malang. The results showed that the diversity of products (X1) and location (X2) simultaneously significant effect on consumer decision variables shopping (Y). From R2 value indicates that consumers shopping for the decision variables (Y) is explained by diversity of products (X1) and location variable (X2), while the remaining explained by other variables beyond independent variables studied.

Abstract

Competition between private colleges need to be managed properly and professionally as like as company profits. Recruiting new students competition is more difficult, with limited resourcess support. Marketing strategy of private college is a set of policies and rules that give direction in managing marketing in an integrated by considering internal and external conditions. The marketing strategy drawn with regard to existing conditions, SWOT analysis, organizing, and controlling at STIE Malangkucecwara which is based on the Standard Quality of Education (accredited): Service Quality Management (Quality Assurance), condition and reputation of the college, coordinate and integration on the task and marketing efforts with other unit / operational area, begins by creating an integrated plan, such as: student activities, faculty research done to be published on a regular basis, which raises the image quality of the campus to the community. Efforts to monitor the implementation of marketing strategies related to the achievement of performance targets an increase in the number of applicants, including the re-registration, achievement of the activities of external and internal marketing activities.

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of transformational leadership and organizational culture on organizational performance, either directly or indirectly through learning organization and employee work satisfaction at the Malang Branch Office of BNI 46. Research method is quantitative. Sample includes 126 regular employees. Sampling techniques are proportional random sampling and simple random sampling. Data analysis method is Partial Least Square. Research indicates that transformational leadership and organizational culture have positive impact on organizational performance, by direct way or indirect manner, through learning organization and employee work satisfaction. It is also found that organizational culture has the greatest impact on learning organization, employee work satisfaction, and organizational performance if compared to transformational leadership.

Abstract

this study aims to examine and analyze the influence of fundamental variables consisting of profitability, firm size, firm growth, and asset structure and macroeconomic variables consisting of interest rate, inflation and the exchangerate on the capital structure and corporate value. The Study population was 26 property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2008-2013. The data collection were using census and the data analysis methods used path analysis. the result showed that profitability and growth of the company have the negative effect on the capital structure,However, the influance of interest rate, inflation and exchange rate showed not significantly. In relation with the company's value, profitability and firm size has positive effect while the structure of assets, exchange rate and capital structure negatively effect the value of the company. the interest rate and inflation proved to have no effect on firm's value.
