Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the environment and the incidence of diarrhea in children under five in the working area of ​​the Nogosari Public Health Center, Boyolali Regency. This research method uses an observational design with a cross sectional approach. The subjects of this study were housewives who had toddlers and had suffered from diarrhea with a population of 328 people. The results showed that there was a relationship between drinking water sources (p = 0.001), latrine ownership (p = 0.018), type of house floor (p = 0.001). 0.036) with the incidence of diarrhea in children under five and there is no relationship between the physical quality of clean water (p = 0.307) with the incidence of diarrhea in children under five

Abstract

The incidence of obesity in Indonesia is increasing every year. In 2013 there were 8.8% of children with obesity in Indonesia, and the incidence of obesity in West Sumatra was 7.7%. Obese children tend to have a poor quality of life. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between the incidence of obesity and the quality of life of school-age children. This research is a descriptive analytic study with a cross-sectional approach. This research was conducted from February to July 2017. The samples in this study were all 4th and 5th grade students of SDN 30 Kubu Dalam Padang, totaling 110 respondents. Data collection using the Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory (PedsQL) Generic Core questionnaire version 4.0 and observation sheets to determine the classification of Body Mass Index. The prevalence of obesity in school-age children in this study was 11.8%. The prevalence of children who have a good quality of life is 75 respondents (68.2%). Abstract

The incidence of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in the working area of ​​the Cepiring Health Center in 2008 was recorded as 91 cases with 2 deaths. The purpose of this study was to determine what health behaviors were associated with the occurrence of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in the working area of ​​the Cepiring Health Center. This type of research is an analytical survey research using a case-control approach. The instruments used in this study were 1) questionnaires, 2) data on patients with dengue fever at the Cepiring Health Center and DKK Kendal. Abstract

The purpose of this research was intended to identify the correlation between nursing services and patient satisfaction in Sumbersari Health Center Jember Regency. The sampling technique used purposive sampling and the number of sample were 44 patients in Sumbersari Health Centre. Data analysis technique used chi square test, with significance level of p value = 0.018 (α=0. 05) and OR 10,667. It means that there was a significant correlation between nursing service and patient satisfaction level in Sumbersari Health Center Jember Regency and good nursing service has a chance 10,667 times more in getting higher patient satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the leadership style of the head of the room with the work motivation of nurses in the treatment room of the Sheikh Yusuf Hospital Kab. This research was conducted at the Regional General Hospital of Sheikh Yusuf Gowa. The population in this study were all nurses who served in the surgical, internal and pediatric care rooms at Syekh Yusuf Gowa Hospital. From the results of the study, it can be seen that the leadership style used by the head of the room is democratic and the work motivation of nurses is high. It is recommended for the Sheikh Yusuf hospital that the heads of the treatment rooms can apply a democratic leadership style to get high work motivation for nurses.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the design of the medical record information system at the University of Indonesia Student Health Center (PKM UI). The purpose of this thesis is to design an electronic medical record information system in PKM UI that is useful to produce valid, complete, and timely information and to support the improvement of patient services in PKM UI. This research uses qualitative methods. And system design is done using the system development life cycle (SDLC)stages. The results of this study are in the form of the design of electronic medical record information systems in PKM UI.

Abstract

The school-age group of children needs to get the fulfillment of the adequacy of its main nutrients with vegetable consumption. In fact, children still find it difficult to consume vegetables in adequate quantities. The think pair share method makes children will try to think, respond to each other and help in discussions. The aim of the study was to analyze the effect of the application of health education with a think pair share learning model on the knowledge and attitudes of school-age children in vegetable consumption.The study used pre-experimental research design (one-group pre-post testdesign). The population in this research is a grade IV student at SDI KHM Noer Surabaya. Sampling with total sampling technique. Respondents in this study numbered 40 respondents. The independent variable in the study was health education with a think pair sharelearningmodel. The dependent variables in the study are knowledge and attitude. Data collection using questionnaires. The data was analyzed using the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test statistical test for knowledge and attitudes with significance α≤0.05.The results of the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test show that health education with a think pair share learning model can affecta child's knowledge (p=0.000) and attitude (p=0.000).The results of this study concluded that health education with a think pair share learning model can increase children's knowledge and attitudes in vegetable consumption. Further research is expected to be conducted on the action of vegetable consumption in children with a multivariate statistical approach.

Abstract

Clean and Healthy Living Behaviors (PHBS) in children are very important so that good health education is needed. Health education with audio visual media will improve clean and healthy living behaviors because children can hear and see firsthand clean and healthy living behaviors that are good and correct.It is known the influence of health education with audio visual media on clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) in grade III-V students at Wanurojo Kemiri Purworejo State Elementary School. The design of this study uses pre experiment (one group pretest posttest). Respondents in this study numbered 45 students aged 8-11 years. The study was conducted on February 25 -28, 2014.Health education with audio visual media affects clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) in grade III-V students at Wanurojo Kemiri Purworejo State Elementary School (P<0.01). Because health education with audio visual media is influential in improving clean and healthy living behaviors, health education with audio visual media can be utilized to improve clean and healthy living behaviors of elementary school children.

Abstract

One form of learning process with Competency-Based Curriculum system (KBK) is to use tutorial methods. The role of student learning is essentially in a tutorial is a group discussion process that requires management skills. The success of the tutorial discussion will be greatly influenced by the stages of the structure that must be undertaken by students called the Seven Jump methode. This research aims to find outthe influence of the use of tutorial methods(seven jump) on the activeness of studying students of the second semester of midwifery at the Midwifery Care I course at the Academy of Midwifery Nyai Ahmad Dahlan Yogyakarta in 2013. This study uses quasi design experiments. Use non-equivalent control groupdesign. The sample in the study numbered 37 people with a division of 15 samples as an experimental group and 22 samples as a control group. Data analysis uses frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using wilcoxon match paired test statistics. Based on the research conducted, there was a significant increase in the activeness of students studying in the second semester of MIDWIFERY AT OBSTETRICS I Pre and Post Test In The Experimental Group p = 0.001 < 0.05. The increase before and after the intervention was 18.73. There was no significant increase in the activeness of study of second semester students of MIDWIFERY AT midwifery in the Midwifery Care Course I Pre and Post Test In The Control Group p = 0.928 > 0.05. The difference before and after the intervention was 0.04. The advice from researchers is expected to improve the quality of learning about Midwifery Care I by using a variety of learning media, so that students better understand Midwifery Care I.

Abstract

Food management places in Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport Makassar include restaurants and restaurants, canteens, cafes, shops and so on. One of the health requirements of food management that is important and affects the quality of sanitary hygiene is sanitation facilities. While the producers pay more attention to how to produce and serve good food and do not pay too much attention to the problem of sanitation facilities. This is behind to examine the problem of sanitation facilities because sanitation facilities that do not meet health requirements will facilitate the occurrence of food contamination by microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, viruses and parasites and chemicals that can pose a risk to health. This research aims to find out the condition of sanitation facilities where food management is located at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport Makassar in 2012. This type of research is observational with descriptive approach methods. Population and sample of 29 food management places. Observation sheet questionnaires used to collect data. The data is processed using the spss 16.0 program and presented in the form of tables and narratives. Results from the study showed that the provision of clean water in all water conditions used 29 (100%) qualified. Sewage sewers are 20 (69%) eligible and 9 (31%) ineligible. 16 (55.2%) were eligible and 13 (44.8%) were ineligible. 7 (24.1%) qualified and 22 (75.9%) ineligible. There were 28 (96.6%) eligible and 1 (3.4%) ineligible. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the water used has been qualified, sewerage, trash cans and equipment washes have mostly qualified while handwashing places are mostly not qualified. It is recommended to the government to make sanitary hygiene regulations where special food management of the airport and it is expected to the angkasa pura to make improvements and provide proper sanitation facilities.
