Abstract

One of the manufacturing industries such as the cosmetics manufacturing industry still have tight and competitive competitiveness. The tight competition forces employers or management to continue to try to improve competitiveness. In the current era of globalization, so that the company can survive in competition, the company must be able to manage its resources such as humans, machines or other supporting facilities, as the conditions in question are ready to use to carry out its production operations, both accuracy, ability or its capacity. This study discusses the analysis of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) on a semi-automatic filling machine semi-solid at PT.X with the aim to provide input to the problems faced by the OEE calculation analysis and reveal the root cause of the problem. This study determines what efforts are made to increase the OEE value by using Fishbone, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and how it is implemented. In this research, the results of the average calculation for July-September 2018 obtained availability values of 74.24%, performance rates of 54.53%, quality rates of 81.52% and OEE 30.56%. The value of Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) obtained the highest value found in Equipment Failure Losses (RPN = 80), Defect losses (RPN = 64) and Idling and minor stoppage (RPN = 60). From the results of these losses found the root of the problem which causes the value of the percentage loss. The level of risk from the root cause of the performance of semi-solid semi-automatic filling machines is the standard replacement of unsuitable spare parts and no buffer stock. Lack of operator awareness and maintenance parts so autonomous maintenance must be improved again.

Sampling was carried out by accidental non random sampling. Data collection techniques use Primary data. Data collection instruments using questionnaires. Data analysis using univariate analysis and bivariate analysis. The results of the study using the chi-square test obtained a value of p = 0.000 for knowledge of maternal knowledge diarrhea in the good category there were 35 people (52.2%) and those who performed the initial action there were 27 people (71.0%) and those who did not take the initial action 8 people (30.0%), the category of knowledge was sufficient there were 27 people (40.3%) and those who performed the initial action there were 11 people (29.0%) and those who did not take the initial action 16 people (59.0%), There were 5 fewer people (7.5%), but none of them did the initial action and also those who did not take the initial action there were 3 people or (11.0%). Conclusion There is an influence between knowledge and the initial action of the mother in toddlers with diarrhea. The better the mother's knowledge, the better the initial action given as an initial treatment of diarrhea in toddlers.

Abstract

Campaigning for health protocols is a very difficult thing, especially in making people aware, especially during this pandemic era. So the government as the party most responsible for handling the spread of the Covid-19 virus must determine strategic steps so that all programs and messages to be conveyed can be well received by all elements of society. Basically, communication is the most important part in dealing with the threat of a pandemic, because public trust needs to be built and maintained so that panic and excess misunderstandings do not occur. One of the instructions given by the president to the government is that the government must show its seriousness, especially in handling this situation and build an ideal communication through comprehensive and regular explanations, by explaining what the government has done and will do. The persuasive approach formed by the government is aimed at campaigning for health protocols in the community and is designed in such a way that the target can accept it consciously and without coercion, which is based on three main dimensions, namely the process of forming a response, the process of strengthening the response, the process of changing the response. On the other hand, a persuasive communication strategy will actually create two-way (reciprocal) communication by disseminating information from the organization to the public that is educational and enlightening, as well as by taking a persuasive approach, so as to create mutual understanding, respect and understanding.

Abstract

Mortality from cervical cancer in Indonesia is getting higher because more than 70% of cases that come to the hospital are at an advanced stage. This phenomenon is due to the low coverage of early detection of cervical cancer including PAP smear tests and visual inspection with acetic acid (VIA). The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge, and motivation of women of childbearing age in the examination of visual inspection with acetic acid (VIA) in the working area of the rawamerta health center. This study is an observational analytic correlation with a cross-sectional research design. The research location was at the Rawamerta Health Center which is the working area of the Rawamerta Health Center, Karawang Regency. The sample in this study was taken from the total population with the Total Sampling technique, which was 137 people. Research samples were taken and met the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria. The type of data collected is primary and secondary data. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis with the contigency coefficient test at a significance level of 0.05. And the results of the analysis using the chy-square test statistics by assessing the relationship between the motivation of women of childbearing age in VIA screening showed an Asymp.sign value of 0.00, because the p-value of 0.00 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge and motivation of women of childbearing age by performing VIA screening. It is expected that health workers can conduct health counseling and provide support to women of childbearing age in the working area of the rawamerta health center in order to increase the motivation for VIA screening.

Abstract

Contraception is a method used in the government's efforts to organize a Family Planning or “Keluarga Berencana” (KB) program. Contraceptives available in Indonesia are divided into hormonal contraceptives (pills, injections, and implants) and non-hormonal contraceptives such as IUDs or intra uterine devices. Of these two types of contraception, Indonesian people, especially women who use contraception, prefer hormonal contraception compared to non-hormonal contraception because it is considered more comfortable and easy to use. Among the three types of hormonal contraceptives, pills and injections are among the most widely used. However, in choosing between injections or birth control pills, some people are sometimes confused about which one to choose because they consider the side effects of both. So in this literature review, the authors compared the side effects between birth control pills and birth control injections from several existing journals. The results stated that there was no significant difference between the side effects of birth control pills or birth control injections and the duration of use was one of the factors that influenced the occurrence of side effects, especially the side effect of weight gain. So to overcome these side effects, the acceptors are expected to change the type of contraception if they have used >5 years and are advised to use non-hormonal contraception
