Abstract

Muslim intellectual figures argue that the current crisis of modern society is Western education is based on a more materialistic and secularistic view of world, which considers that education is not to make human beings wise, it is to recognize their respective positions in the reality of order and view reality as something that is materially meaningful to humans, and therefore human relations with the reality of reality are exploitative rather than harmonious. This modern humanitarian crisis was criticized by schoolars who later led to the post-modernism. Postmodernism offers a new mind that is tolerant of plurality, demolition and locality. Post-modernism also does not get a way out to unravel the humanitarian crisis. So, many parties try to turn back to religion. One Muslim scholar who was concerned about trying to find a solution to the humanitarian crisis was Ismail Raji al-Faruqi. Al-Faruqi argued that modern knowledge gave rise to contradictions of revelation and reason among Muslims. The Separating thoughts from action, as well as the existence of cultural and religious dualism. Therefore, al-Faruqi argued that the need for Islamization of knowledge and efforts was moving from monotheism. This means that Islamic knowledge always emphasizes the unity of the universe, the unity of truth and knowledge and the unity of life.

Abstract

The teacher is a noble profession. He has a role as a substitute for parents in Islam. The teacher is the successor to the struggle of the prophets. This noble position requires the nature of a personality that can be modeled by his students. This article contains a post about the nature and personality of the perspective of al-Qur'an teacher based on Al-Mudassir 1-7 Verses. This letter came down as an order to the prophet Muhammad to preach (educate) the people of Mecca at that time through the science of education, in the Surah Al-Mudassir 1-7 verses, there are six traits and personalities that must be possessed by a teacher to succeedsin carrying out his duties as an educator.

Abstract

Education in the family is an important aspect to build a person's behavior. Usually the education in a family is condacted with the religious values and ethics, which consists of behavior, manners and use attitude used in everydays life. The aim of this writing is to discuss the role of religious education in the family and society. This method used library research with the descriptive and explorative approach. The conclusions are that the role of the Islamic education: (1) as the foundation of religious education in a family which used to form the children’ good attitude and behavior, (2) functions as tools to convince people to the almighty of God, (3) as a foundation to build the society character for the Indonesian people to improve the nation.

Abstract

The teacher’s role of education is very important, because it is the spearhead in improving educations’ Quality, including in the form of students who are intelligent, moral and have a good personality. The teacher must have four basic awareness, namely training pedagogy, professional, personal and social as well as carrying out their duties and functions as educators in accordance the message of Qur'an.

Abstract

Rasulullah did the Uzlah to the cave of Hira 'is the first revelation in the form of "Iqra", the first word of revelation revealed by Allah SWT, through the angel Gabriel, with the aim that the Messenger of Allah can read and by reading produce knowledge, which is passed through contemplation by standing, lie down, and sit glorifying the greatness of Allah SWT. The benefits of knowledge in the form of qur'aniyah and kauniyah can give benefit to the people of the world.

Abstract

The Education of PAI does not stand by itself, but there is an initial process of formation. It has been told in history, among the pioneers in the establishment of the first formal education as well as the founder (founder) was the Prophet Muhammad SAW whose institution was centered in the mosque, because there was a connection with his duties as an educator (teacher). So from that the propriety of giving to the Prophet Muhammad SAW as the first professor in the field of PAI.

Abstract

Language is the most important component in human life. Humans will not be able to continue their survival without language. This research was carried out at Madura Islamic University (UIM) Pamekasan due to the low ability of students, especially the Islamic Studies Faculty (FAI) in reading English text and this became the dominant problem in this study. Survey, Question, Read, Recite and Review (SQ3R) is one part of an elaboration method. A teacher expects students to be able to remember what they read, can help the teaching and learning process in the classroom carried out by reading English text so that learning can be more challenging and fun. This study uses quantitative research methods namely experimental research, the researcher will measure the effect and causality between variables X in the form of SQ3R method with variable Y, namely the ability of students to read English text at Madura Islamic University (UIM) Pamekasan. Theoretically the results of the study increased the ability of students to read English text, which is greater with a t table value of 5.356, which means that the sQ3R method can be applied in English course lectures to improve students' ability to master reading comprehension in English of Islamic Text. Students can get information faster and messages contained in text. FAI students are more confident in reading English text because English is one of the difficult subjects for Islamic faculty.

Abstract

The policy of regional autonomy that came into effect through Law Number 22 and Number 25 of 1999 and was amended by Law Number 32 of 2004 concerning Regional Government and Law Number 33 of 2004 concerning Financial Balance Between Central and Regional brought fundamental changes to all areas of development in the implementation of regional governance and financial relations between the central government and regional governments, with the aim of improving regional autonomy and fiscal decentralization (finance department of the Republic of Indonesia, 2008). Therefore it is important not only to listen to the government's fiscal and monetary policies, but also to design a concept for the regional budget (APBD). thus Designing the Pamekasan regional budget (APBD) based on maqashid sharia is to prioritize the interests of religion, soul, honor, descent and property for the people.

Abstract

As we know, Early Childhood (AUD) is in the golden age in the growth and development of humans both physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually, so that to get the optimal and optimal results, character education must be starting from AUD. In the Qur'an it is very clear, the Qur'an as a way of life for Muslims has taught and illustrated how character education must be taught to children as the main and fundamental provision in living life in the world. To be able to understand how character education is, then we can use the Bayani method which includes: identification of the Qur'an which will be studied, identification of the related texts, and understanding texts in a textual and contextual manner. . By using the Bayani method, character education according to Surah Lukman: 13-19, as follows: train and familiarize loyalty, respect, gratitude, critical, curiosity, friendliness, responsibility, discipline, courage, patience, caring for others, not arrogant, modest life, and manners. If character education according to Q.S Lukman: 13-19 is carried out by parents in educating their children, as Lukman told his children then moral decadence can be minimized and Indonesian people will achieve glory and glory.

Abstract

The implementation of value and spiritual education in guidance and counseling services is the aboligation of schools. It has implications for the nature of individual guidance and counseling to help individuals for develop human nature by empowering faith, reason, dan willingness who has given by God so that individuals can develop properly and firmly as God guides. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach and data collected by interview, observation and documentation. Findings data were analyzed using conten analysis techneques. The informan are theachers, students, and parent of students.The result of this study founded, 1) education of values and spirituality in SMP Negeri 1 Bantul is not only become the responsibility of the guidance dan counseling teacher, it is was includes within thes school curriculum structure that described in each subject as a hidden curriculum. 2) The values and spiritual education of students is very dependent on education in their family. 3) There isa good tolerance between Muslim dan non-Muslim students during implementation of classroom learning. 4) School appreciation and support in organizing religious activities for Muslim dan non-Muslim students. 5) The school cooperates with other parties (in collaboration with one of the churches) to provide religious education for non-Muslim students.
