Abstract

This article was written based on the results of training and mentoring activities for PAUD teachers who are members of the IGRA Association (Ikatan Guru Raudhatul Athfal) Ponorogo. Training and mentoring activities are useful for training teachers' abilities in making APE (Educational Game Tools) for inclusive children by prioritizing the Salingtemas approach (science, environment, technology, society). The purpose of this activity is to realize the ideals of quality education for all through inclusive schools. The method used in this activity is ABCD, which begins with mapping IGRA Ponorogo assets. Based on all the stages that have been passed, it can be said that this activity has succeeded in creating APE in accordance with the criteria for inclusive schools. The next conclusion is that IGRA Ponorogo has never received similar training, so that when the activity was carried out, the enthusiasm of the trainees appeared. In the end, it can be said that this activity has succeeded in increasing the knowledge, skills and attitudes of teachers in dealing with children with special needs.

Abstract

The development of the digital technology has changed many things, including crime, which is based on social media. Criminals easily use digital access to commit violence against children, including child grooming. The study was conducted to find preventive measures to prevent the occurrence of child grooming crimes by collecting reference materials for analysis using a library research approach. Based on the results of the analysis, parents can take preventive actions at home and teachers at school by instilling assertive behavior in children, so that children can openly convey what they want, feel, experience, or think. Also parents and teachers will find it easier to provide education about body parts that should not be touched on children.

Abstract

This paper discusses parenting education from the perspective of the Indonesian interpreters, Hasbi Ash-Ashiddieqy. The purpose of this study is to map the application of parenting education contained in QS.Al-Isrā' [17]: 22-39. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method with munasabah verses. The result of this study found five implementations of parenting education from the perspective of Hasbi Ash-Shiddieqy. The first is always remembering Allah, the second is devoted to parents, the third is doing well to others, the fourth is spending wealth properly, and the last is not violating the Shari'a. The essence of implementing parenting education is the importance of hablumminallah wa hablumminannas. Five parenting education points that parents can apply are instilling monotheism and faith from an early age, teaching manners, , providing knowledge in managing finances from an early age, and providing guidance to children about the differences between commendable behavior and despicable.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research given to early childhood group B at RA Al Ikhlas Marindal, Patumbak District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. This study aims to improve gross motor skills of children aged 5 to 6 years at RA Al Ikhlas Marindal through the traditional Uncle Doli’s traditional game. The subjects in this study were 12 children consisting of 7 girls and 5 boys in group B at RA Al Ikhlas Marindal. This classroom action research was conducted in 2 research cycles. The results of the research conducted obtained the results of the pre-cycle average value of 61.6, whereas in cycle 1 it was 65.8 and in cycle 2 it was 95.8. The results of this study indicate that the Uncle Doli's traditional games significantly improves gross motor skills of early childhood at RA Al Ikhlas Marindal.

Abstract

A healthy mentality will produce productive humans. However, mental health does not stand alone, there are many factors that influence it, one of which is parenting at an early age. This study aims to explore the views of counseling schools in explaining the importance of parenting in achieving mental health. This research method uses literature review. The results of the study show that the three schools of counseling differ in understanding the terms mentally healthy and mentally disturbed and differ in terms of the causal factors. Even though they differ in several ways, they agree that early childhood care is important to shape their mental health in the next phases of development

Abstract

This study aims to find out how teachers implement music and movement learning in early childhood education in Parongpong District, West Bandung Regency, West Java. With a case study methodology, a qualitative research design was applied. Then observation and literature research are utilized as data collection methods. Descriptive qualitative analysis is the method of data analysis that is employed. The study's findings demonstrate that teachers have effectively incorporated music and movement into early childhood learning through appropriate stimulus, variety, expression, tempo, and enthusiasm in line with their pedagogical, personal, social, and professional competence as teachers of early childhood education.

Abstract

Perkembangan identitas gender pada anak usia dini akan mempengaruhi bagaimana mereka menerima gender mereka sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan identitas gender di kalangan anak usia dini berdasarkan keberadaan anggota keluarga di rumah, khususnya orang tua dan saudara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional study. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner identitas gender pada April hingga Agustus 2023. Sampel adalah 200 siswa (95 laki-laki; 105 perempuan) di 23 lembaga pra-sekolah (5,83 tahun; SD: 0,50) di 5 kabupaten di Jawa Timur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat sedikit perbedaan rata-rata nilai anak yang diasuh oleh dua orang tua dirumah dan anak yang hanya diasuh oleh salah satu orang tua. Namun demikian tidak ditemukan perbedaan yang signifikan. Begitu pula dengan keberadaan saudara kandung dirumah, juga menunjukkan perbedaan nilai yang tidak signifikan. Hal ini dimungkinkan karena banyaknya factor lain yang mempengaruhi kemampuan anak mengenali gender mereka.

Abstract

Setiap anak berhak untuk mendapatkan bimbingan dan arahan yang berkenaan denganpembentukan sikap, karakter dan akhlak mulia, setiap orang tua wajib mendidik mereka berkenaan dengan hal itu agar mereka benar-benar dapat menjadi pribadi yang lebih baik. Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini yaitu untuk menggambarkan bagaimana peran orang tua dalam mendidik anaknya dalam tinjauan atau perspektif Alqur’an. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu studi pustaka dengan mengacu pada Alqur’an, buku dan jurnal yang berkenaan dengan pendidikan anak. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Anak dalam perspektif Alquran dipandang memiliki kemuliaannya tersendiri, ia lahir dalam keadaan bersih, suci dan sangat berharga bagi orang tuanya melebihi harta apapun. Adapun dalam mendidik anak perspektif Alqur’an dapat mengacu pada kisah Luqman dalam mendidik anaknya yang diabadikan dalam surah Luqman ayat 13-18 yang berisi tentang bagaimana mendidik anak utamanya yang berkenaan dengan aqidah, akhlak dan hubungan sosial dengan orang lain.

Abstract

Since the 19th century, interactions between humans have begun to be carried out in new ways that are not bound by distance, which causes no barriers between various parts of the world. All phenomena that occur can be seen clearly in a relatively short time. Various cultures and traditions began to mingle and lose their identity. One of the things that has become a hot topic of discussion from the western world in recent months is childfree, namely the decision of a married couple not to have children with several factors being the reason. In the Western world, childfree is not a complicated thing to be debated. However, what about the Eastern world, especially Indonesia with the thick rules of each religion. Moreover, Islam adheres to the holy book al-Qur'an, in which it is narrated that Prophet Ibrahim a.s. and the Prophet Zakaria a.s pleaded with God to be given offspring from the pious group, as stated in the QS. As-Saffat verse 100 and QS. Maryam verses 4 to 5. From an Islamic perspective, children are something that is highly coveted and fought for in marriage. A child seems to be a glory for his parents, not only in this world but also into the hereafter. Hasan as-Sayyid Hamid Khitob in his book Maqas{i>d an-Nika>h{ wa Atharuha> explains that among the main purposes of marriage are expecting children, multiplying the descendants of the people of the Prophet Muhammad SAW., guarding the genitals, and maintaining lineage. But what if it is related to the childfree phenomenon which is starting to be followed by many people in Indonesia who are even Muslim, where they actually do not want to bring children into their marriage.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is an important stage for a child's growth. The selection of educational institutions with certain learning models, it is important for parents to consider before making a choice in one school. There are various kinds of PAUD learning models. Among these learning models are the classical model, the cooperative learning model, the center and circle time-based learning model (beyond centers and circle time/BCCT) and the area learning model (interest). Among these models, the center-based learning model and circle time are learning models that are still rarely applied in PAUD. This study aims to analyze the center-based learning model and circle time in terms of preparation and implementation. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. Data were obtained through interview, observation and various literature related to PAUD learning models. The results show that the center-based learning model and circle time is a learning model with four steps, namely the environmental footing, the footing before playing, the footing during playing and the footing after playing in the learning activities. The application of this learning model requires teachers to carry out preparatory activities every day. It is hoped that the aspects of children's development can improve through various series of activities in the central class which are followed by children alternately every day.
