Abstract

Cervical cancer is cancer that appears in cells in the cervix. Cervical cancer in Indonesia ranks second in the order of malignancy in women. The incidence of cervical cancer was 5,786 cases or 10.3% of other malignancies. In fact, around 500,000 women worldwide are diagnosed with cervical cancer and an average of 270,000 people die each year. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of tenth grade girls at Taman Siswa Pematangsiantar High School, prevention of cervical cancer in tenth grade at Taman Siswa Pematangsiantar High School, and the relationship between the level of knowledge of young women and prevention of cervical cancer for class X at Taman Siswa Pematangsiantar High School. This research method is descriptive correlation through cross sectional approach, with a population of 100 and obtained 50 samples selected by purposive sampling and data collection for the dependent variable and independent variable was carried out simultaneously through a questionnaire instrument. The results showed that there were 36 respondents (72%) with good knowledge and 14 respondents (28%) with poor knowledge. Based on the results of the chi-square statistical test with a significance level of a = 0.05, a value of p = 0.01 was obtained, which means that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge and prevention of cervical cancer.

Abstract

Abstract     Objective - This essay intends to particularly address the difficulties that modern organizations' human resource management (HRM) departments and leaders confront as a result of the close interaction between human workers and artificial intelligence (AI)—primarily robots—especially at the team level. On the basis of a conceptual evaluation of the available research, it also offers some prospective solutions that may be helpful to overcome these difficulties. Design, methodology, and approach — To give a very comprehensive yet critical overview of the interaction between AI (especially robots) and HRM in modern organizations, the current study engages in conceptual work that integrates several streams of literature. Results - We emphasize that interactions and teamwork between human workers and robots are evident across a variety of organizational tasks and industries, where both are contributing team members. The HRM function in modern organizations is faced with some particularly difficult challenges as a result of the need to address workers' anxiety about working with AI, particularly in relation to potential job loss and the challenging dynamics of establishing trust between human employees and AI-enabled robots as team members. Along with these, HRM staff members need to carefully handle employee performance evaluations in the future as well as human workers' expectations for task completion with their AI-enabled robot co-workers. When placing human workers in teams with robots, the authors discovered that organizational support mechanisms such as a welcoming climate, training opportunities, and assuring a suitable technological competence level are crucial. Finally, we discovered that one of HRM's most difficult difficulties is performance evaluation in teams where humans and AI (including robots) coexist. We emphasized the possibility of drawing insights from the computer gaming literature, where performance evaluation models have been developed to analyze human and AI interactions while keeping the context and limitations of both in mind. We discussed the lack of frameworks to guide HRM managers in this concern. Originality/value - Our study is one of the few to go beyond a broad or functional analysis of AI in the context of human resource management. It focuses primarily on the teamwork aspect, where human employees and AI-powered robots (robots) collaborate and provide insights and suggestions for such teams' efficient operation.

Abstract

The corporate environment has changed dramatically since the start of globalization, both in terms of complexity and dynamism. Companies are coping with shifting market conditions, changing workforce demographics and diversity, technological advancements, increased customer and quality focus, a talent shortage, and shifting economic realities (Noe, 2002). In order to attain long-term sustainability and total organizational success, it is crucial for businesses to continuously alter their business strategy, policies, and practices to conform to the shifting needs of the business environment. In other words, firms are compelled to implement and successfully manage change continuously (Bridges & Mitchell, 2000; Kanter, 1985). Despite the fact that organizations need to manage change more effectively, 70% of change initiatives fail (Beer &Nohria, 2000), and this failure rate has remained stable over time. Insufficient attention to issues relating to people is one of the most frequently mentioned causes of change implementation failure (Spiker & Lesser, 1995; Kotter, 1995). During the 1990s, there has been widespread recognition of the significance of employees, their psychological reactions, and their behavior during organizational transformation; yet, in practice, managers do not place enough emphasis on these concerns (Becker & Gerhart, 1996). Others who have conducted empirical studies in this area concur with this viewpoint. For instance, research on the implementation of a customer relationship management (CRM) project at three banks in New Zealand and discovered that firms tend to prioritize technological difficulties while ignoring issues relating to people.

Abstract

Abstract Politics and economics are ambiguous regarding the progress of a society. The economy can be considered a measure of social progress. A sustainable society under a stable state will lead to the collapse of an unstable regime that will not make sustainable progress. The political and economic changes that took place in India in the 1990s led to many changes. Tamil Nadu is the state that has used those changes to its advantage. This study illustrates some of those changes.

Abstract

A lot depends on the financial institutions of an economy and their adequate performance drives the nation towards economic development. Banks are the main financial institutions of any country and they ensure financial stability by providing timely financial services to its customers. Both public and private sector banks are necessary in an economy which will give them a healthy competition among each other such that they will contribute towards the financial development of the country. The financial soundness of the banking sector is very much necessary especially in a country like India that will drive one step forward towards inclusive growth. Looking at the banking sector of our economy in the recent scenario, the researchers attempted to evaluate the financial performance of both public and private sector banks of our country with the help of the largest banks of their kind. CAMEL model was used in the study to compare the overall financial performance between the top most banks such that the objectives of the study can be fulfilled. The results of the study were quite clear and it ensures that the private sector banks of our country are giving tough competition to its peer counterparts. Finally, conclusion has been provided by the researchers based on the findings of the study such that the sector can be improved in coming times not only to satisfy its customers but also to ensure economic sustainability in the economy. Abstract

Social media has become a daily habit in most people’s lives. People of all ages participate in social media, and the average Indian devotes nearly 2.4 hours per day to this one activity alone. People are able to voice their concerns and share their perspectives through the medium of social media. When it comes to understanding social media, people must first be comfortable with the notion. Users can communicate with one another and share information, thoughts, opinions, images, and videos via Internet-based programmes known as "social media.. In order to access content, share content with other users of that social media platform, and converse with other users of that social media platform, an individual must first sign up for an account and then sign in to that account. Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Snap Chat, Telegram, and LinkedIn are just a few of the most prominent and frequently used social networking platforms today; others include Snap chat etc. It's noteworthy to observe that most of these social networking sites have a disproportionately high proportion of teen users. In India, adolescents and teenagers between the ages of 13 and 19 make up 31 percent of the overall number of people who use social media (Statista, 2021). Users in India between the ages of 18 and 24 make up the majority of Facebook and Instagram users in the country. We take a descriptive and analytical stance when discussing social media and its effects on young people, both good and bad, in this study. We heavily rely on the thematic analysis tool MAXQDA to draw a conclusion. We discuss all facets of social media, including both positive and bad effects. Specific areas including business, education, society, and young people are highlighted.

Abstract

Stunting is a nutritional problem in Indonesia that is a cross-sectoral problem due to its complex and multifactor causal factors. The government has a role of involvement and capacity in stunting reduction interventions. One of the determinants of stunting in Aceh Singkil District is open defecation which is an indicator of WASH (Water, Sanitation, Hygiene) that contributes to the incidence of inflammatory diseases. This study aims to analyze the determinant of open defecation with stunting incidence in Aceh Singkil District. This study used a qualitative design with Focus Group Discussion data collection techniques for the regional working unit in Aceh Singkil District. The results showed that open defecation is still one of the causes of stunting in Aceh Singkil District where open defecation behavior still exists, such as digging landfills, flying toilets, and public bathing, washing, and toilet facilities in rivers. The problems related to this are the low level of proper drinking water facilities, the behavior of open defecation, and the lack of clean water sources. The conclusion is that there is a need for support from policymakers in improving specific interventions carried out by cross-sectors, especially the rules on Gampoeng for residents who are still doing defecation.
