Abstract

Research oceanographie physical properties of sea water has been carried outin Tambelan Islands and surrounding waters on 4-11 November 2010 on twelveoceanographic stations, research using the research vessel KR. Baruna Jaya VIII.Research methods to measure the mass of water using a Conductivity Temperatureand Depth (CTD) 911 plus Model SBE. To measure the current using AcousticDoppler Current Profile (ADCP). The purpose of the study to determine the physicalproperties of oceanography at Tambelan and surrounding waters. From researchresult obtained by the maximum current speed 1606 mm / sec and a minimum of 5mm / sec, with the current direction Southeast 1350, 195-2400 Southwest, Northeastand East 450 30-80-1050. While the maximum temperature of 32.62 °C and 28.59 °Cminimum, maximum salinity of 32.62 per mil and a minimum of 32.01 per mil, amaximum brightness of 97.65% and 70.52% minimum, maximum chlorophyll 0.47mg / l and a minimum of 0, 19 mg / l, and maximum pH of 7.81 and minimum 7.78

Abstract

This research aims to understand the effect of dosages combination ofmixed hCG and hypophysis extract injection toward volume and quality of semenof Rasbora lateristriata Blkr. There were 5 treatments applied, namely PA=control (1 ml of Na Cl 0,65 % /kg body weight), PB = hCG 400 IU/kg bodyweight + CPE 2 dosages, PC = hCG 600 IU/kg body weight + CPE 2 dosages,PD = hCG 800 IU/kg body weight + CPE 2 dosages, PE = hCG 1000 IU/kgbody weight + CPE 2 dosages, PF = hCG 1200 IU/kg body weight + CPE 2dosages. The best result for male fish was the combination of hCG 1000 IU/kgbody weight + CPE 2 dosages, the semen volume was 0.87 ml, spermconcentration was 18,43 x 10 9/ml, sperm viability was 88.67% and spermmotility was 86.00%

Abstract

Field Experiment was carry out to study the effect of vegetable and animalbase baits and combination of both on shrimp catches (Macrobrachiumrosenbergii de Man). This Fishing Experiment was using a simple randompattern, with three treatments as following U1 =Bran, U2=Fish Flour, U3=Mixing of Bran and Fish Flour. This experiment was undertaken from 7th till 13thjuli 2009.The treatments effected on number and weight of catches shrimp differentlyas the fish was bring highest catches, followed by mixed bait and the lowestcatches is bran in respectively were 16 shrimps (380 grams), 12 shrimps ( 240grams) and 10 shrimps (170 grams).

Abstract

A study on the strategy of the development of sustainable floating-net cagefisheries in the reservoir of Koto Panjang Hydro-electric Power Plant, Kampar, RiauProvince, was conducted on May-October 2009.. Based on its carrying capacity, thenumber of FNC units which can be exposed in the reservoir during the period of thestudy is 19,599 – 33,515. units. The existing utilization level for 900 KJA is actuallyabout 2.7-4.6 % of the capacity. This indicates that FNC is potential to be develoved.At the time of FNC research with operations in reservoirs are concentrated in theforbidden zone as compared with cultivation zone . The strategy of developmentfloating net cage in reservoir of Koto Panjang for the use of wastes, cultivationtechnology, and environmentally friendly quality feeding, so that the waste from FNCcan be reduced and the adversely impact can be minimized and the reservoir qualitycan be controlled up to floating net cage fisheries in the reservoir sustainable.

Abstract

Senggaringan fish is one of important fisheries resource which needs todevelop in Purbalingga. Unfortunately there were still lacks of domesticationtechnology to support it. One of the most potential aspects to prepare theaquaculture of senggaringan is by preparing the nutrition aspect and feedmanagement. This research has purpose to encourage the effect of protein leveland protein energy ratio in different feed to relative growth, protein retention(PR) and protein efficiency ratio (PER) of senggaringan. The method was usedCompletely Randomize Design with five different feed protein level and energyratio P1 (25;18), P2 (30;13.9), P3 (30; 14.2), P4 (30;15), P5 (35;12) with 4repetitions. The data was collectected for five weeks. The result showed that P4(30;15) had the best performance than other treatments. The best PR and PERalso showed by treatment P4 (P<0.05), 47,14% and 1,52. It means thatsenggaringan fish can accept pellet as their food to fastening the growth. Butthere still need more research to encourage the nutrition composition every phaseand feed management of senggaringan fish to succeed the domestication.

Abstract

The integration of engine into the wooden boat needs good knowledge ofeffective engine installation technique. Otherwise, the function of engine will notharmonic with the aims to move the boat properly to be optimum. The effectivenessof engine installation has link to engine foundation, the position of propeller axispoint at the height of keel and the stern. Two systems of engine installation, whichhave experimented and observed its effectiveness; first the lobe point of propelleraxis at the horizontal position just on the middle of the height of the “L” pillarbetween the keel and bosom of stern ceiling. Secondly, the propeller horizontal axishole in the point at the mid-height of keel-end and the ceiling of stern as the propellerposition. The result found that the first technique causes the power of engine weakeras compare to the second one; whilst the keel and engine fundation have to bemodified so that the position of engine foundation can be well on horizontal line,which caused change of the keel strength or the boat strength will be lesser. Hence,by mean the propeller axis lobe point at the mid-height between keel-end and thestern bosom found to be effective as the function of engine as power to move the boatworks better with less engine noise and vibration than the other technique.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari bulan Juli sampai Desember 2008 didaerah perairan Pulau Bunguran Kabupaten Natuna. Tujuan dari penelitian untukmenentukan kesesuaian kawasan perairan untuk keramba jaring tancap danrumput laut. Metoda yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan cara mengukurfaktor lingkungan perairan. Proses penentuan kesesuaian kawasan tersebutdilakukan dengan menggunakan operasi spasial dengan memanfaatkan aplikasiSIG. Untuk menentukan kesesuaian kawasang digunakan metode weightedoverlay. Dari penelitian diketahui bahwa dominansi kesesuaian kawasan untukkegiatan KJT dan rumput laut berada pada kelas sesuai yaitu sebesar 49,4%,kemudian kelas sangat sesuai sebesar 31,1% dan tidak sesuai sebesar 19,5% diperairan Pulau Bunguran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari-April 2010 di DanauPulau Besar dan Danau Bawah Zamrud Desa Dayun Kecamatan DayunKabupaten Siak. Pemilihan lokasi dilakukan dengan sengaja (purposive).Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat diambil kesimpulansebagai berikut: 1) Perkembangan jumlah alat tangkap setiap tahunnya mengalamipeningkatan 2,3% dan penurunan CPUE sebesar 4,6%, 2) Jumlah produksiperikanan pada tahun 2010 sebesar 38.300 kg dengan Maximum SuistainableYield (MSY) sebesar 43.148,24 kg/tahun. Artinya telah terjadi kelebihan tangkap(over fishing), 3) Tingkat eksploitasi telah mencapai 89% dari MSY, dimanaeffort optimal sebesar 502,18 unit, sedangkan pada tahun 2010 jumlah effort telahmencapai angka 679,76 unit.
