Abstract

The main purpose of this paper is to explore the perceptions of muslim millenial traveler’s towards halal tourism in indonesia. It also investigates the extent to which muslim millennial traveler’s are willing to purchase certain types of halal products and services in halal tourism. Qualitative data were collected by conducting 150 semi-structured interviews with muslim millenneal traveler’s in three province in indonesia: nusa tenggara barat, sumatera barat and aceh. Four major aspects (access, communications, environment and services) are identified that describe the perceptions of muslim millennial traveler’s towards halal tourism. This paper also provides some suggestions for stake holders on how best to enggaged for muslim millenneal traveler’s. This paper explores the perceptions of muslim millennial traveler’s towards halal tourism which is totally new research in destination marketing. It provides some original insights in to the interactions between the religion of islam and tourism.

Abstract

P Covid pandemic 19 had an impact on all sectors including the economic sector which caused poverty levels in Indonesia to increase. Various parties carry out activities in the effort to deal with Covid 19 including the Zakat Institution. Through the Zakat Forum, 40 zakat institutions perform eleven covid handling services 19 and the only institution that runs all of these services is the Muhammadiyah Amil Zakat Institute (Lazismu). Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the efficiency of the performance of management services covid handling 19, and in this study focus on Lazismu Provisnsi West Java.The research method used is a qualitative method using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method. The input variable is fund raising and the output variable is fund channeling. The DEA approach used is the VRD approach because it sees the potential for Zakat Institutions in Indonesia growing.The results of the study are that the level of efficiency in the management of zakat funds in handling covid 19 in West Java has only reached 22%. And four regions that are already efficient, namely the West Java regional office, Majalengka Regency, Cianjur Regency and Cirebon City

Abstract

Creative Economy is an economic concept in the new economic era that intensifies information and creativity by relying on ideas and stock of knowledge as the main production factors in its economic activities, this will certainly have an impact on performance generated in a job, which will ultimately be able to increase excellence employees at work. One of the competition in an industry is through the development of creative economy, which seeks to increase human resources in order to have the creativity, skills and talents of individuals who are economically valuable, which can be seen from competitive advantages known through the concept of work ethics in Islam or more leads to the ethos of competition in the quality of work seen from: Ash-Shalah (Good and Beneficial), Al-Itqan (Stability and Perfectness), Al-Ihsan (Doing the Best / Better), Al-Mujahadah (Hard and Optimal Work), Tanafus and Ta'awun (Competing and Helping), Observing the Value of Time. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, utilizing primary data sources and secondary data, using populations that are more directed to the "social situation" of the population and samples taken using probability sampling from several companies and gareli-based sharia, which are recorded in the department Lampung Province industry and Kopras service, data collection using observation, interview and documentation methods. Data management by means of data checking (editing), data marking (coding), data reconstruction (reconstructing) and data sitematization (systematizing) which are then analyzed by description and analysis. This study looks at and examines how competitive advantage can enhance the creative economy carried out by several sharia companies in Lampung Province in terms of Islamic economics. Keywords: Competitive Advantage, Creative Economy

Abstract

This research is motivated by rural poverty a major problem in the implementation process of development in rural areas, because the majority of poor people living rural areas, the rural development as part of the development. Creative economy is a new economic concept that mix and match information and creativity that relies on ideas, ideas, and knowledge of human resources as a factor of production. There are 14 sub-sectors of the creative industry, one of which is agriculture. Creative economy that is on the village's waringin cider industry refers dragon fruit, dragon fruit farmers who produce the household is an effort to improve the welfare of one of them increase their family income. The problem in this research led to the role of the creative economy in increasing household income through the efforts of dragon fruit cultivation in the village of Sari subdistrict Adiluwih K. Pringsewu district, and the creative economy in increasing household income in the review from the perspective of Islamic economics. Research methods used in this study using qualitative research, using the population of dragon fruit growers 30 plus one vote collectors and village officials as informants. From note analysis can be concluded that based on interviews done by the farmers of dragon fruits in the village of K. Sari subdistrict Adiluwih District Pringsewu., with the creative economy has an important role for farmers, seen from 30 respondents 9 craftsmen increased revenue, 18 stable artisans and craftsmen 3 decreased in the year 2016. Meanwhile, for the study of Islam, the craftsmen have met the production process, marketing market, government policies, economic conditions, the environment and partnership. But does not meet the financial and management indicators were good.

Abstract

The financial crisis highlighted the need for deposit insurance regimes that effectively protect depositors and promote financial stability. Interest in Islamic deposit insurance is rising, incited by the growth of Islamic banking across the globe. The study examines the potentiality of Islamic deposit insurance scheme in Nigeria, considering Malaysian experience. To achieve its objective, this paper used both analytical and qualitative methods after thoroughly examining many relevant works of literature as well as empirical works. The study finds that Islamic deposits are covered separately from conventional deposits, with separate coverage for Islamic window, trust accounts, sole proprietorship, and partnership. It also provides coverage to various contracts, such as mudharabah, wadi`ah, qard and murabahah. Thus, Nigeria can tap the idea in promoting sound financial stability through Sharῑ’ah-compliant deposit insurance scheme. Finally, the paper concludes that to ensure a Shari`ah-compliant deposit insurance system, the government supposed to implement a proper approach, which could be different across jurisdictions, in light of differing Shari`ah interpretations or views from one jurisdiction to another.

Abstract

There is no hesitation that leadership has been given a remarkable domicile and a crucial positioning in Islam, Assiyasah ash-shari’yah is reflected as superlative routine towards a good Governance as well as an ideal model for both political and Economic transformation and reform. This study therefore pursues to search the methods of Umar bin Abdulaziz (R.A) MODE FOR Administrative and economic Reforms and Transformations.The methodology of the study relies on critical and comprehensive analysis of the existing published literature related to the topic. Hence, Data collection is effected through the qualitative method. The findings of this study exposed that there are heaps of mode and wisdoms could be obtaining from the history of caliphate Umar such as his reformations and innovations in governing the state as reflected in his as - siyasahshar’iyyah which can be key to political reform in our modern society. Grounded on the findings, it was suggested that fear of Allah, is the best preference towards the political and Economic reform.

Abstract

According to Nigerian Cooperative Societies Act, (2004), a Cooperative Society is a voluntary association of individuals, united by common bond, who have come together to pursue their economic goals for their own benefits. The Islamic co-operative finance system involves coming together to raise halal fund by people of similar ideology and orientation, who contribute their gains in monetary terms to establish a business on profit and loss sharing basis and give loans to members based on mutual understanding without attaching any form of interest. The Yobe State University Cooperative Multi-Purpose Society (YSU-CMS) aims at promoting socio-economic well-being of its members and providing them with economically viable ventures and loan opportunities. This paper aims at assessing the operations of  YSU-CMS in the light of the general principles of Islamic Finance, in order to find out whether it is in conformity with the Islamic teachings or not? In addition, it highlights the general principles that the Islamic co-operative finance system should follow. The researcher adopted analytical and descriptive approaches in this study. The main findings of the paper have shown that some components of YSU-CMS are in conformity with the dictates of Sharia, while others vary. It also revealed that the application of Islamic modes of financing from the angles of Islamic microfinance (ISMF) operations provide base upon which YSU-CMS products can be converted into Shari’ah – compliant products.

Abstract

The appearance of poverty is caused by discrepancy or gap regarding to land and asset ownership in Indonesia. Rich people in Indonesia dominate almost 70 percent of land, whereas 99 percent of people acquire only 30 percents of and. In this case, the utilization of waqf/endowment land can become a solution to develop economy and poverty alleviation. The existence of the law Number 41 Year 2004 about endowment/waqf gives the juridical foundation for endowment implementation, either endowment of fixed asset and building, or form of money. Endowment implementation should encompass productivity factor ad consumptive factor in society, so it can give positive impact for public welfare.

Consumerism is no longer confined to the developedindustrial world. But has affected many other parts of the poor and developing theworld, it has become the subject of scientific research in different knowledge systems,foremost among them economics, psychology and sociology. However, theresearchers agree that this behavior is no longer a purely individual behavior for anindependent person. But has become multiple external factors contribute to theformation, and exert various effects on the individual consumer In our contemporaryIslamic world, patterns of abuse of consumer behavior had been spread, theconsumption of things harmful to health, morals or the natural environment, thedisregard of some individuals for consumption priorities, the lack of commitment tomoderation in spending, the tendency to extravagance and luxury, These behavioralimbalances have a very negative effect on the national economy and the economies ofthe individual. it entails a waste of natural and economic resources, the disruption ofthe productive structure, the waste of human energies, this deviant consumerismreality is confirmed by the presence of factors that have shaped its current image, andby addressing them we can restore consumer behavior to its rightful place. Abstract

This article focuses on Akad Qard as one of the Akad in sharia banking. At Qard, financing can be a possible occurrence of potential disputes between borrowers and the lending party. In terms of normative, dispute resolution arrangement, in case of default, is stipulated in Law No. 21 of 2008 on Sharia banking. Default dispute resolution mechanisms are multi-fascinated, depending on the right choice of the parties. Using normative research methods with of approach and conceptual approach is further analyzed descriptively analytical. The research results that, the settlement of default to the financing of Akad al-Qardh in customers who have since the beginning of good faith, is first a non-litigation solution by the principles of's Consultative and justice. Sharia banks make restructuring efforts based on the financing agreement agreed upon by the parties. If the restructuring efforts do not bring results, sharia banks can conduct a guarantee execution effort. In the Akad al-Qard with guarantees or without warranty, the default dispute carried out through the National Sharia Arbitration Board on a litigation basis, or it can be attempted by voluntary customers to submit collateral. In addition to the mandate of Article 55 paragraph (1) of the sharia banking LAW, which determines that it authorizes the impartial judiciary as a form of litigation dispute resolution for the completion of the first form, the new settlement of non-litigation.
