Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how the implementation of the Tikrar Method at the Faculty of Islamic Studies Program in Improving the Al-Quran Memorizing Competence of UMSU Students. This research covers planning, implementation and evaluation of the tikrar method. This study used qualitative research methods, and data collection was obtained from the results of observations, interviews and documentation conducted in the field. From the process, it was found that prior to the application of the tikrar method, planning was carried out in advance, namely students had to register to take part in the FAI Qur'an program, students who were required to take part in the program were fourth semester students of the Faculty of Islamic Religion, then socialized the activities and implementation of the program and explained about the method, after that the determination of groups and their mentors is carried out. In its application, the tikrar method is applied by repeating the readings that are the target of memorization at home or on campus, then after memorizing students will deposit it to their respective mentors at each meeting. The evaluation was carried out after the students had successfully completed their memorization, namely juz 30 by depositing all the memorized surahs in juz 30 and the deposit was made in one sitting.

Abstract

Social media is one of the phenomena that emerged along with the development of technology and innovation on the internet. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. From the data that has been presented, it can be seen that there are 3 social media that are often found positive content regarding education and da'wah, namely Instagram, Tiktok and YouTube. Of the 10 respondents stated that they more often encounter da'wah content on social media Instagram and Tik Tok. In this study, it was concluded that social media tends to have a negative impact on adolescents aged 13-20 years and can be overcome by spreading positive content on social media such as education and da'wah.

Abstract

According to the Quran, the Islamic educational responsibilities dalah duty of parents, educators/teachers and communities, each of which has an important role in reciprocation of education. parents must provide education including the education of faith, morals, physical, intellectual, psychological, social, and sexual. Educators/teachers have the responsibility in the education of them became teachers, educators, and leaders. The responsibility of society is to become a controller for the continuity of education and in this case the most central control of education is the leader or the government, which should provide direction and help to achieve the educational goals.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to compare the learning process of Islamic religious education between Raudhatul Athfal (RA) educational institutions under the auspices of the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) and Kindergartens (TK) under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud). . This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, with the subject of teachers and students in RA. Ar-Rasyid in Sukamaju village, Sunggal sub-district and in kindergarten. The country of the builder of Sunggal, both of which are in Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. Collecting data using observation, interview, and documentation techniques, with descriptive data analysis techniques. Observation objects include; (1) curriculum (determination of themes and time allocation, as well as development programs), (2) religious education materials, (3) learning process (planning, implementation and assessment). The results of this study indicate that between RA and TK educational institutions, using different curricula even though they still refer to the 2013 PAUD Curriculum, Islamic religious education materials in learning in RA are more than TK, while the learning process is generally the same, but due to the content of Islamic education materials more in RA, the learning process in RA becomes more dynamic.

Abstract

The emergence of the corona virus outbreak that has hit Indonesia has changed in all aspects of people's daily activities. No exception in the world of education, basically the teaching and learning process carried out face to face in class is now switching remotely (online). This is done to prevent the spread of the covid-19 virus l. Therefore, based on research using qualitative methods with this literature study approach. The results found that the use of information and communication technology as a medium for PAI learning during the covid-19 pandemic was an excellent innovation in delivering material to students remotely in an efficient and effective manner. Types of information and communication technology applications that can be used to keep learning going include whatsapp, google meet, zoom, classroom, and youtube. The learning media was chosen by looking at the affordability of students in using the media. As for the functions of the media that can be felt by educators and students in online learning, among others: in the delivery of material in the learning process can be uniformed, the learning process can take place without any time and place limitations, and learning is more interactive by applying learning theory.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the problems and strategiesimplemented by curriculum management to improve the quality of education atSMP Negeri 5 Medan. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptivemethod. The instruments used in this study were observations observed by theresearchers themselves and through interviews with one of the Islamic ReligiousEducation teachers at SMP Negeri 5 Medan. The research results obtained are:The problems of curriculum management at SMP Negeri 5 Medan are about: 1)Lack of variety of learning methods applied in the learning process. 2)There is no implementation of remedial activities in evaluating the abilities of students. 3)Students lack insight into technology. Strategies that must be carried out to improve the education system at SMP Negeri 5 Medan, including: 1) There is a need for curriculum development, 2) There is a need for funding for books in the library, 3) Completing teaching aids such as practical training equipment facilities to facilitate the learning process , 4) Arrangement of teachers is carried out.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the implementation of student character education in the formation of noble character in the IT Nurul Fadhillah junior High School. The  method  used  is  qualitative  research.  The  research  was  conducted   at  the  IT  Nurul Fadhillah Middle School. The data were obtained from the results of interviews, observations (observations)  conducted  with the principal of SMP IT Nurul Fadhillah. Based on the data obtained,   it can be seen that  in instilling character in students,   it  is done by habituation through various activitities.  1) routine  activities carried out by students continuously  and consistently  at all times 2) activities  carried oud by students  at a predetermined  time 3) exemplary is the behavior, attitude of teachers,  education staff and students in setting an example through good actions so that it is expected to be a role model for other students 4) conditioning  by creating  conditions  that support  the  implementation  of student  character education in the formation og noble personalities

Abstract

Many problems that arise in the field are related to the implementation of the Education Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP), as well as the preparation and implementation of the Islamic religious education curriculum in Islamic boarding schools. For this reason, it is necessary to review government policies related to revamping the Islamic Religious Education curriculum at Islamic Boarding Schools. Some of these policies are; Law No.20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System, Government Regulation No.19 of 2005 concerning National Education Standards, and Government Regulation No.55 of 2007 concerning Religious and Religious Education, and Regulation of the Minister of National Education (Permendiknas) RI No. 6 of 2007 concerning the Amendment to the Regulation of the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 22,23,24 of 2006 concerning the Implementation of the Curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the dialogical method in Islamic epistemology. This research uses library research method. The result of this research is that the dialogical method is an effort to explore Islamic education knowledge which is carried out through written works presented in the form of conversations (questions and answers) between two or more people based on scientifically justifiable arguments. Dialogue is divided into two, namely dialogue that is carried out personally, and dialogue that is carried out in groups. Ethics in dialogue include (1) Rabbani; (2) Humane; (3) Universal; (4) Balance; (5) Realistic. The dialogue method in the Qur'an is divided into three types of dialogue, namely: al-hiwar, al-jadal, and hujaj. The dialogue method in the hadith is like the hadith of Gabriel who asked the Prophet Muhammad. about Iamn, Islam and Ihsan. The implementation of the dialogue method in Islamic education can be applied by cultivating question and answer in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Madrasah Diniyah is an Islamic Education Institution that has existed at the same time as the spread of Islam in Indonesia. The purpose of writing this article is to examine the history of madrasah diniyah institutions in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection using library research method. The data analysis technique used a descriptive approach. The results of the discussion in this article regarding the history of Madrasah development in Indonesia are divided into four periods, namely 1) the colonial period, namely the Dutch colonial period and the emergence of Islamic organizations that care about Islamic education, 2) the old order period, namely at the beginning of the independence period. , madrasas are still alive, but do not get full assistance from the government, 3) the new order era, the start of government guidance on madrasas, and 4) nowadays, madrasas must immediately improve themselves and concentrate on the transformation of Islamic values.
