Abstract

This study aims to analyze the phenomenology of the results of the vote acquisition and PDI Perjuangan seats in Bengkulu City in the 2014 and 2019 Legislative Elections in the Bengkulu City DPRD, which continued to decline in every election since 1999, PDI Perjuangan as the party winning the election nationally is inversely proportional to the acquisition of seats Legislative and votes for PDI Perjuangan in Bengkulu City DPRD, PDI Perjuangan in Bengkulu City in the 2014 and 2019 Legislative Elections only got 1 (one) chair in Bengkulu City DPRD. This research was conducted with a phenomenological study with qualitative methods and SWOT analysis, data analysis was carried out in stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions, this study uses primary data that is the results of interviews with informants - research information and secondary data collected from institutions related to this study, the results of votes and chair, PDI Perjuangan Candidate List (DCT) in the 2014 and 2019 elections. The results showed that the results of the acquisition of chair and votes PDI Perjuangan Bengkulu City that continues to decline in the 2014 and 2019 elections because it was caused by the recruitment of legislative candidates who did not meet the total allocation in each Electoral District in Bengkulu City, the PDI Perjuangan DPC management was unable to meet the maximum chair quota allocation and recruited qualified legislative candidates as votes, both internal and external PDI Perjuangan.

Abstract

Business trends in the object of communication continue to develop with fierce pirated products (imitation) attacking the market then how business people can face and meet the wants and needs of the market. Formulate a strategy of how Product innovation does not neglect authentic touches but remains the main value of original products where business communication trends continue to evolve with the times, because products become the sensuality of personal communication shown to the public. On the problems and impacts on the background of this research problem using qualitative methods because the problems described are so complex, regarding quality, socially influential from these phenomena and strategy and control are needed in recognizing things that occur in the field. one of the strategies for business people continues to innovate products with an authentic touch. It is not only the originality of the product that must be maintained but how can realize the desires of consumers. Product brand image is inseparable from the characteristics, quality, authenticity, touch, needs and comfort that the product is built on, when mentioning a particular brand then we will know the identical product. communication business trends to innovate. the strategy is carried out for how to compete in the market without neglecting the communication of business trends, by reducing production costs through a combination of main and supporting materials from the surrounding environment, cultural touch, the main crops integrated while still building product confidence in consumers regarding product authenticity. As well as developing and building customer passion through authentic product innovation, so as not to release the identical, identical characteristics and characteristics of the product.

Abstract

The Political Year 2020 has begun, and Bengkulu Province will not directly elect the Governor and Deputy Governor for the Period of 2021-2026. Prospective Candidates have begun to be shown to the public from the start, known figures and new images will participate in coloring the long process of this democratic party. Rohidin Mersyah, who currently needs a Governor from 2016-2021. The communication strategy has been carried out by establishing communication to the Regions by conducting family gatherings. Social media also plays an important role in the Communication Strategy that is built. Community leaders also have a stake in supporting the strategy. The results of the study explain the strategy that has been expected to influence voters in making choices that do not need the attention of the respondents, seen from the media used to be more millennial consumption.

Abstract

Advertising turns out not only to function as a promotional medium but also to contain ideologies that are capable of influencing people's mindsets. At present there are many advertisements that use the symbol of a woman as it is known that a woman's body is now defined as having a body that contains sensuality that can cause lust for men. This study aims to analyze ad impressions that contain elements of female sensuality by using the semiotic theory of Roland Barthes, to find a meaning that is hidden behind a sign from the markers and markers contained in the advertisement. This study uses a qualitative approach and in this study uses a type of critical paradigm. The results of this study can be found that there is an element of sensuality in the Kispray advertisement version of the gold for moment starts from excessive image taking on a woman's body and there is a myth in the Kispray advertisement version of the gold for moment that women are able to flirt with a sexy look. Facial expressions, body gestures and female voice tones can provoke male sexual imagination and the fragrance of Kispray gold is equivalent to the perfume of luxury perfume.

Abstract

Communication is also very closely related to a culture, because by communicating humans get an idea and ideas that ultimately shape the work of art, and the work of art is done by the ancestors and then carried out continuously into his generation, with the process of creating a culture. one of the cultures that use communication is the Sada Dance and the Sabai Cultural tradition of East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, this dance is a dance for the East Ogan Komering Ulu Komering wedding celebration which has a meaning of communication.This research uses the Symbolic Interaction Theory is a movement in sociology, focusing on the ways humans make meaning and order in society through thought and action. In this study, researchers used constructivist paradigms with qualitative research types and descriptive qualitative methods. The results of this study indicate that the Sada and Sabai dance is a traditional dance typical of East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, this dance has meaning on the movement and has meaning on the symbols that exist in this dance. The meaning of the sada and sabai dance is happiness, for the symbols of this welcoming dance by using the tigol, shawl, fan dance and kulintang music accompaniment that are characteristic of the people of East Ogan Komering Ulu. And it is associated with the Symbolic Interaction theory that the meaning of Sada and Sabai is created through a communication process and modified in a particular symbol that is meaningful to produce mutual agreement and is culturally known and accepted by the public.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai strategi komunikasi yang dilakukan legislator perempuan di dalam komisi. Kehadiran legislator perempuan dengan jumlah yang sedikit (12 orang) dari 81 Kursi membuat legislator perempuan yang duduk di dalam komisi tidak merata di dalam Alat Kelengkapan Dewan di DPRA, membuat legislator perempuan tidak mampu berkiprah banyak dalam komisi, apalagi ditambah dengan tidak adanya legislator perempuan di dalam komisi yang terkait dengan perempuan dan anak dalam komisi F (Kesehatan dan Kesejahteraan). Penelitian ini menggunakan Teori Interaksi simbolik. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode kualitatif diskriptif, kajian ini bermaksud untuk mendeskripsikan strategi komunikasi politik anggota legislatif perempuan di dalam parlemen Aceh di tingkat komisi. legislator perempuan dalam menjalankan strategi komunikasinya menyesuaikan dengan visi fraksi dan dapilnya, mereka memiliki strategi komunikasi sendiri dalam membangun komunikasi yang baik dengan sesama anggota komisinya dan juga dengan anggota komisi yang lain, mereka mampu berkomunikasi dengan baik dengan anggota legislatif yang lain juga dengan konstituennya. Sehingga komunikasi politik yang terjadi di dalam komisi berlangsung komunikatif, dialogis, komunikasi berlangsung dengan semi formil, lobbi dan negosiasi kuat, keordinasi berlangsung baik, kompetensi komunikasi legislator perempuan baik, aktif dalam memberikan argumentasi, komunikasi yang terjadi dinamis dan humanis, secara personal antar anggota komisi dekan namun secara profesioanal mereka membawa panji partai masing-masing, pola komunikasi yang terjadi di dalam komisi yaitu antarpribadi, kelompok dan komunikasi organisasi.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has brought a large flow of changes to the media industry, especially print media. The proliferation of online media is a threat to conventional media. In this digital age, information and news are more easily obtained from various online sources. This condition has caused a number of print media industries in the country to "shut down" because of their inability to seize the market. On the other hand, a number of print media industries are currently trying to adapt in the midst of the rapid development of information and communication technology by migrating to a digital platform, but still maintaining its print version.

Abstract

Komunikasi merupakan suatu hal yang sangat mendasar dalam kehidupan manusia bahkan telah menjadi fenomena bagi terbentuknya masyarakat yang terintergrasi oleh informasi untuk mencapai tujuan bersama. Kelakuan yang kekal dan turun temurun dari generasi kegenerasi lain sebagai warisan sehingga kuat integrasinya dengan pola-pola perilaku masyarakat, yang menjadi ciri khas suatu daerah yang diterapkan dalam diri masyrakat yang melakukannya dan telah menjadi kebiasaan (tradisi) dalam masyarakat. Dalam makna tradisi larangan menikah antar desa Adumanis dan Betung ini terdapat beberapa rangkaian komunikasi nonverbal yang memiliki makna simbolik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui makna simbolik pada Tradisi Larangan Menikah Antar Desa Adumanis Dan Desa Betung Kabupaten OKU Timur. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam memaknai proses komunikasi nonverbal pada Makna tradisi Larangan Menikah Antar Adumanis Dan Betung menggunakan teori Interaksi Simbolik. Teori interaksi simbolik berpegang pada individu membentuk sebuah makna melalui interaksi dan komunikasi. Hasil penelitian secara keseluruhan didapatkan bahwa Pemaknaan tradisi larangan menikah antar desa Adumanis dan desa Betung, telah mengalami pergeseran nilai makna kebudayaan dalam kehidupan bemasyarakat, masyarakat memang mempercayai namun tetap melanggar larangan menikah antar dua desa ini dikarenakan melalui interaksi secara terus menerus, pola kehidupan manusia yang selalu berubah-ubah mengikuti perkembangan zaman dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat sehingga tradisi ini sudah mulai tertinggal dan sudah mulai terabaikan oleh kedua masyarakat desa tersebut.

Abstract

Poverty has a very broad impact, one of which is the parents' ignorance of child care and education, this is caused because parents are busy with the demands of fulfilling the family's economy. The government through the social ministry is implementing a social protection program, the Family of Hope Program, where the government helps families that have been designated as participants in the form of conditional cash transfers, empowerment and assistance to break the poverty chain. The facilitator has a very important function in determining the success of this poverty alleviation program. The communication pattern applied by the facilitator also has a large percentage in an effort to increase the understanding of beneficiaries. This study seeks to see the communication patterns applied by the facilitator in improving the understanding of beneficiaries towards child care and education in the Keling Kebun Kelurahan in the city of Bengkulu based on the Joseph A Devito theory in which there are 5 communication patterns. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques, participant observation, interviews and focus group discussions, and documentation studies. While data processing and analysis starts from the reduction of data found in the field, presents the data, and draws conclusions. The results of the study obtained that the companion in an effort to increase understanding of the care and education of beneficiary children that the communication pattern of all channels or star communication patterns is the most dominant. in this study found the fact that in keling orchards there was no increase in understanding of child care and education after empowerment through group meetings, this was because prior to the PKH program the community had already known and practiced ways of raising and educating good children .

Abstract

The objective of this research was to provide an overview of the role of Public Relations at University of Bengkulu for implementing UU No. 14, 2008 on the openness of Public Information. To saw this role, this research used four public relations roles according to Dozier and James these were as an expert prescriber, communication facilitator, problem solving process facilitator and technician facilitator. This research used the descriptive studies with qualitative data obtained by conducted in-depth interviews, field observations and also used the literature studies. The results of this descriptive research was illustrated that the Public Relations of University of Bengkulu only plays one role. That is as a technician facilitator and the other roles of the public relations such as Expert Prescriber, problem solving process facilitator, and Communication facilitator were played by PPID (Information and Documentation Management Officer) of University of Bengkulu , one of the effect was the information and data on the decline in the number of Bengkulu University's enthusiasts in public relations that was not delivered and has not become the things that need to be addressed, because public relations was not have a role as a problem solving process facilitator and communication facilitator. so, the problem of descent Bengkulu University's enthusiasts happened for last three years. However, although the public relation of University of Bengkulu only played the role of technician facilitator, the Public Relations of University of Bengkulu has successfully implemented the KIP law well, it can be seen from the awards was received from the Central Information Commission and the Regional Information Commission of Bengkulu Province.
