Abstract

Background: Patients with congestive heart failure often experience recurrence and should be re-treated because of clinical syndromes. This study aimed to determine fluid restriction compliance on recurrence in patients with congestive heart failure. Methods: The research design used the analytic observational method. The research variables were fluid restriction compliance and the recurrence rate of patients with congestive heart failure. There were 40 patients as a sample of data which overall population of patients with congestive heart failure was in Dr. Soetomo Hospital by using the Consecutive Sampling technique. The data collection used a questionnaire. Results: The results showed that most respondents had high compliance (87.5%), the risk of recurrence was 26 patients (65%) by using the test result of Spearman Rho p=0,033.Conclusion: There is a relationship between fluid restriction compliance and the recurrence rate. Proper care and compliance for patients with congestive heart failure can reduce the risk of disease recurrence

Abstract

Background: Psychological changes in the elderly include feelings of loneliness, fear of loss, fear of death, anxiety, useless feeling, dependence and neglect and depression. This study aimed to determine the effect of a spiritual approach and deep breathing relaxation on changes in the level of depression in the elderly. Methods: The design of this study was a Pre-Experimental, One-group pre-post test design with a population of all elderly people at the Tresna Werdha Blitar Social Services UPT with a total of 80 respondents. The sample is part of the population with a purposive sampling technique of 40 respondents. The data that has been collected is processed by the Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test statistical test with a significance of = 0.05.Results: The results of the analysis of the Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test obtained a p-value = 0.000 which is less than the value of (0.05), it can be concluded that H0 is rejected, meaning that there is an influence of spiritual approach and deep breath relaxation on changes in depression levels in the elderly. Conclusion: Spiritual approach therapy and deep breathing relaxation are effective in overcoming depression in the elderly, so this needs to be done continuously, in collaboration with the local health center and involving the participation of nursing home staff

This study aimed to analyze the influence of the role of the family on the weight and height status of children. Methods: This research design is an observational quantitative research with a cross sectional approach with the focus of his research directed at analyzing the independent variable the role of the family on the dependent variable of weight and height status in children at PAUD Pelita Hati Karangrejo Tulungagung using linear regression statistical test with a sample of 35 respondents were taken by using Simple Random Sampling technique. Results: The results of the study found that almost half of the respondents had a moderate category of family roles as much as 16 respondents (45,7%). Almost half of the respondents have body weight in the normal category as much 16 respondents (45,7%) and most of the respondents have a normal height category of 20 respondents (57,1%). Results of data analysis using Test Linear Regression on the weight variable that the p-value is 0.00 0 < 0.05 then H0 is rejected and H 1 is accepted so it can be concluded that there is an influence of the role of the family on the weight status of children in PAUD Pelita Hati Karangrejo Tulungagung. Meanwhile, in the height variable, the p-value is 0.045 <0.05, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted , so it can be concluded that there is an influence of the role of the family on the height status of children in PAUD Pelita Hati Karangrejo Tulungagung. Conclusion: Parents can monitor their child's growth and also provide foods that are high in fiber such as fruits and vegetables, foods that contain lots of protein such as meat and tempeh, drinks that contain lots of calcium such as milk so that children can grow optimally

Abstract

Background: Parity and psychological problems are one of the factors that contribute to the high tendency to occur hyperemesis gravidarum as a condition that results in pathology for the mother and the fetus she contains. Methods: The research design is correlational analytic with a cross sectional design approach. The independent variables are parity and psychology, while the dependent variable is the incidence of hyperemesis gravidarum. The population is all pregnant women in the first trimester at the Wairasa Health Center, Central Sumba Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, a sample of 26 respondents using the accidental sampling technique. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. Results: The results of the ordinal regression analysis showed that the Nagelkerke coefficient value of 92.4% means that the independent variable is parity and psychology affects the incidence of hyperemesis gravidarum in general by 92.4% while 7.6% is influenced by other factors that are not included in the model testing. Conclusion: there is a relationship between parity and psychology of pregnant women in the first trimester with the incidence of hyperemesis gravidarum

Abstract

Background: The spread of dengue hemorrhagic fever can be caused by many factors, one of which is the lack of family duties in preventing. This study aimed to know the role of the family in preventing dengue hemorrhagic fever in the community. Methods: The research design used was observational using cross sectional method and using a questionnaire sheet instrument. The population in this study were 45 respondents. The sample size is 45 respondents using total sampling technique, while to determine the relationship between variables used Spearman rank test with a significant level of 0.05.Results: The results showed that almost all (33%) had not performed the 3M Plus Behavior. The results of the Spearman rank statistical test simultaneously have a family task relationship in 3M Plus behavior with a significant value = 0.000 < 0.05, then reject H0. While the individual test only family tasks that affect the behavior of 3M Plus with p value = 0.035 < 0.05.Conclusion: Family tasks affect the behavior of 3M Plus with dengue hemorrhagic fever prevention because the family has done five forms of family tasks. In the future, the family will be able to carry out 3M plus behavior and try to deal with it appropriately through five forms of family tasks
