Abstract

An independent campus is a policy recently launched by the Indonesian minister of education, Nadiem Makarim. The independent campus policy is expected to be able to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, especially Islamic religious education, in the midst of the rapid development of information technology and the flow of globalization. A new policy or discourse is certainly an interesting topic to be discussed by both academics and practitioners. Furthermore, if it is associated with Islamic education, the concept of independent learning is not a taboo subject. Because basically the Qur'an and Hadith have discussed this concept of free learning. So the purpose of this paper is to reveal the opportunities and challenges of an independent campus in the perspective of Islamic religious education. The method that the author uses is a literature study, by digging up information about the topic of discussion from various existing literature and then analyzing it. In the results of the study, information was obtained that the opportunities for the existence of this independent campus program were as research development, entrepreneurial development, and adaptive graduates. Meanwhile, the challenge is the collaboration mechanism between private Islamic universities and study programs with outside parties and the internship mechanism outside the study program.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that occurs in the field that the low ability of teachers in making instructional media that can influence the quality of schools. Varied and innovative learning media aims to create learning conditions that enable students to learn actively and be fun so that they can achieve optimal learning and achievement. The purpose of this study is to (1) measure the ability of teachers in making learning media with video application based on MsPowerpoint on Economics subjects through workshops, (2) knowing the picture the ability of teachers in making learning media with video-based applications Ms. Powerpoint in the subjects of the City of Padang City Madrasah Aliyah Economics through workshop activities. This type of research is descriptive, with a population of 25 people. Data collection techniques in this study used the experimental method. The results showed that with the implementation of media-making workshops, the ability of teachers to create and use video learning media based on Ms. Powerpoint applications can be improved.

Abstract

Married couples are certainly not free from problems and fights. The problems experienced can be triggered by differences in opinion, economic problems, incompatibility issues, and other problems. Some couples are able to solve these problems and often choose a divorce to end their household. The divorce that occurs will have an impact on those who experience it, especially the woman / wife. The impact that is felt can be in the form of physical and psychological. Individuals who experience divorce should have the ability to resilience themselves. Resilience is the ability that a person has to rise from a downturn that occurs due to certain problems. Based on preliminary observations in the field, researchers found that research subjects did not experience the negative effects of divorce. The focus of his research is: 1) the description of post-divorce women's resilience, 2) factors of post-divorce women's resilience, and 3) the impact of post-divorce women's resilience. This study uses qualitative methods with interview and documentation techniques on a key informant, namely a woman who is experiencing a divorce. The results obtained are: 1) the key informant can live his life as a single parent, 2) the resilience factor is motivation and support from the family, 3) the key informant can continue studying in the postgraduate program to live an effective daily life.

Abstract

This study supports the three alternative hypotheses developed that prove that service quality and religiosity simultaneously (together) have a significant effect on people's decisions about making transactions at Bank Syariah Mandiri, Pariaman Branch. This study aims to determine the factors that influence public decisions to transact at Bank Mandiri Syariah Pariaman, which is limited to the quality of service and religiosity. The population in this study were customers of Bank Syariah Mandiri Pariaman with a total sample size of 60 respondents. Where the sampling technique used is accidental sampling. In order to test the hypothesis, the t, f and r tests were carried out. The results showed that the factors of service quality and religiosity have an effect on people's decisions in making transactions at Bank Syariah Mandiri Pariaman. The contribution of the influence of service quality and religiosity variables on people's decisions to transact at Bank Syariah Mandiri Pariaman is 33.4%, while the rest (100% -33.4% = 66.6%) is the influenced by other variables that are not included in this research model.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education automatically has an impact on improving the quality and competence of education, so that educational goals can be achieved properly. Education must have several competencies, and about the pedagogical competence of education must be the effect of very important lessons which also apply to Islamic cultural history lessons. The formulation of the research problem to realize educational pedagogic competence in Islamic cultural history learning, the purpose of this research is to find out how effective the educators' pedagogics are in choosing the Islamic cultural history learning method. The form and type of this research are field research using descriptive methods, data collection using observation, documentation and interview techniques that are submitted to educators in the field of Islamic cultural history and school principals. The results of this study indicate 1. Educators in the field of Islamic cultural history at MTsN 5 Padang Pariaman have used the learning method but it is still not right, 2. Educators are still not effective in using the method. 3. The impact of using the method by educators causes students to be sleepy, unable to concentrate. The conclusion of this study is that the use of methods in learning the history of Islamic culture is still less effective because the selection of learning methods is still not right. Abstract

Hadis merupakan peninggalan dan sekaligus pedoman serta petunjuk hidup bagi umat Islam, sehingga dalam mengamalkannya dan mendapatkan pemahaman yang utuh, maka umat Islam membutuhkan metode pemahaman hadis yang sesuai dengan maksud dan tujuannya. Salah satu metode pemahaman hadis terhadap hadis-hadis Rasulullah, yaitu metode pemahaman hadis Ibnu Rajab Al-Hanbali dalam kitab Jami’ al-‘Ulum wa al-Hikam fi Syarh Khamsin Haditsan min Jawami’ al-Kalim. Metode penelitian ini adalah library research (Kajian Perpustakaan) dengan mengumpulkan data-data terkait melalui sumber-sumber primer dan sekunder serta melakukan analisis terhadap data yang telah ada. Metode pemahaman hadis yang ditawarkan oleh Ibnu Rajab Al-Hanbali yang terdapat di dalam kitab kitab Jami’ al-‘Ulum wa al-Hikam fi Syarh Khamsin Haditsan min Jawami’ al-Kalim, yaitu metode tahliliy (analisis) dengan memberikan penjelasan terhadap hadis tersebut, meliputi: Menyebutkan jalur periwayatan hadis, jalur lain dari periwayatan Hadis, Asbȃb al-Wurȗd al-Hadȋs, urgensi Hadis, Ayat Al-Qur’an sebagai ta’kidnya, mengurai makna Hadis secara global, menjelaskan pendapat SalafusShaleh dalam mensyarah Hadis, menjelaskan pensyarah lain dan menjekaskan fiqh haditsnya.

Abstract

Adolescent prisoners experience difficulties in conforming, loosing freedom, feeling lonely, and adapting to the environment at the first time living in the correctional institution affecting psychological well-being condition. This study aims to observe the description of adolescents Prisoners’ psychological well-being. This study uses quantitative approach that is analytical descriptive method. The instrument used in this study is questionnaire that has 0.731 reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha). The subjects of this study were all adolescent prisoners in LPKA class II, Tanjung Pati which are in total 23 prisoners. This study’s result shows that psychological well-being of adolescent prisoners are in the high category, the details are that 1 prisoner in excessive category (4.35 %), 20 prisoners in high category (86,96 %), and 2 prisoners in moderate category (8.7%). Abstract

Emile Durkheim saw the social order of society emphasizes the importance of consensus, harmony, and equilibrium. To emerge the consensus harmony and equality of community-oriented should do creating the homogeneity and cultural values aimed for maintaining the social community order. This paper reveals the thought of Durkheim about the theory of consensus harmony and equilibrium based on maintaining a balance between knowledge, moral practice reasoning with ethical values ​​ in the society through character education. The thinking side revealed how the public responds to changes in a dynamic culture of uncertainty with built social and cultural functions based on functional structure theory. This study discovers the education role in creating a moral being in modern society and moral being in building harmonic. It balanced with social functions through the solution to prevent and resolve any social pathology as the impact of the negative perception from social media. This expected explanation from this library research providing a positive contribution to character education and behavior to the society reviewed from the anthropological education study. The implication of this study for educators is the importance of building character and behavior order in the community comprehensively, kept up-to instill moral values, virtues, honest, law-abiding, and tolerance in creating a Madani's social life.

Abstract

Most students carry out formal communication such as presenting assignments or expressing opinions in formal forums and there is anxiety about public speaking in their implementation. Virtual reality based on cognitive behavior therapy (VR-CBT) is one of the psychological interventions that can be applied in this study with the aim of reducing the level of anxiety in public speaking. The public speaking anxiety scale, TMAS, and psychological tests were used as measures to determine the subject's anxiety level. Collecting data using observation and interviews with subjects and related parties. This research design uses descriptive qualitative with a case study approach (case study). This study consisted of one subject who was a 20 year old sixth semester student. The VR CBT consisted of 10 sessions (+60 minutes / session). The data analysis technique used qualitative data analysis. The results showed that the subject's public speaking anxiety level decreased. That is, VR CBT is effective in reducing the level of public speaking anxiety.

Abstract

This paper is a literature review that discusses the Transmission Curriculum Model and Its Implementation in Islamic Education to regenerate the repertoire of science about curriculum. In this article, the aspects of the study discussed include: Transmission Curricular Model and Its Dreams in Islamic Religious Education, which will be concluded and discussed in the last chapter. In this study the authors found that the curriculum is all learning experiences that must be passed in the educational process. Meanwhile, the learning experience itself is constantly being refined in line with the times and the challenges that will be faced in the future. Therefore, the curriculum must be able to accommodate these needs and challenges whose design still considers the principles of continuity, sequencing, and integration of experiences. As for the transmission curriculum model, Gagne is very concerned about strategies or teaching methods that prioritize stimuli to generate student responses, so that a more memorable learning process will occur for students. The implication is that textually there is no curriculum development model, but conclusions can be drawn from the essence of the stated learning, so the appropriate curriculum development model for the transmission model is to focus heavily on teaching strategies or methods. As a modern noebehaviouristic, it encourages teachers, especially Islamic education teachers to plan lessons so that the atmosphere and learning style can be modified so that learning is fun for students.
