Abstract

Green building concept has been widely developed globally as well as in Indonesia. Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI) is the institution that organizes the green building certification in Indonesia. The view from construction parties is needed to understand the level of interest and level of implementation of green building parameters and the impact of green building parameters on project life cycle time. This research carried out by distributing questionnaires to construction parties in Jakarta and Surabaya. Descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Modelling is used to understand the respondent views of the green building parameters and the impact of green building parameters on project life cycle time.The results showed that the level of interest of green building parameters is high. The comparison between level of importance and level of implementation shows that the implementation rate is lower than the importance rate. Water conservation is a significant aspect affecting the project life cycle time specifically the design stage, while the other aspects haven’t been significantly affecting project life cycle time.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Besides visual aspect, room acoustic performance is also an important factor in determining multipurpose hall performance. Room acoustic performance can be achieved if some room acoustic objective parameters are taken into account, such as background noise level, reverberation time, and sound coverage. In order to meet these parameters, it can be done by using materials with appropriate coefficient absorbstion on floor, wall, ceiling and room geometry. Room acoustic objective parameters should be considered in design phase for optimum benefit. Room acoustic simulation on the design of multipurpose hall P1 and P2 Petra Christian University will be done by computer simulation.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The aim of this study is to explore the possible use of bottom ash as artificial aggregates. It is found that the pelletizer method by using mixer without blade is one possibility to manufacture artificial aggregates. The optimum mixture composition of artificial aggregate is found to be 3 BA : 1FA : 0,5 C , by weight, and immersed once in cement slurry. The water content in ssd condition is 27% with the compressive strength of the aggregate 2.4 MPa on the seventh day. Concrete produced with mixture compositition of 1 cement : 1.5 sand by weight, resulted in water content of 14.63% in ssd condition and compresive strength of 14.20 MPa at 28th day.

Abstract

Apartment’s project cost planning involves a Quantity Surveyor to determine the target cost (budget) for the owner. Target cost must included all elements of the existing building. This study aims to determine the format and price range of each building element in the elemental cost analysis for apartment’s project cost planning.The data were obtained by looking at historical data of the middle class  apartment’s projects Bill of Quantity in area of Surabaya, Solo and Semarang with reference to the format NPWC List of Elements, Australia.The results of the data analysis showed that the format of building elements that can be used in elemental cost analysis consists of 11 major elements are Preliminaries, Sub-structure, Super-structure, Finishes, Fittings, Services, Site Works, External Services, Waterproofing, Grills & Iron, and Pool. While the price range of elements in the elemental cost analysis showed that the apartment’s project which has a basement, the price difference is 20-30% larger than projects that do not have a basement. For the project which has storey height ≥ 3m, the price difference is 3.5-20% larger than projects which has storey height < 3m. For projects which has a basement & storey height ≥ 3m, the price difference is 30% larger than the project which has a basement & storey height <3m. Keyword : cost planning, target cost, apartment’s project, building elements, elemental cost analysis

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Construction business competition in Surabaya is getting tougher and thus require good performance in a construction organization. Performance of the organization requires trust that each individual, team, or group can act achieve the desired goal. The level of trust in an organization is influenced by the organizational culture. This study aims to determine the organizational culture and the level of confidence in large and medium-sized construction company in Surabaya, as well as the relationship between the level of trust and organizational culture.Based on the research that has been done, large and medium-sized contraction company in Surabaya tend to Clan culture type than other type of culture (Adhocracy, Market, and Hierarchy), which is concerned with loyalty and tradition; with high degree of organization trust in contractor company. Organizational culture is positively correlated with the level of trust, making any type of organizational culture as an important asset for the company to increase trust in the contractor organization, and the Hierarchy culture that can be used as the primary reference organization in increasing trust.

Abstract

Nowadays, people talk a lot about energy crisis problem. In fact, demand for energy grows every year while this growing demand is not matched by the growth of the energy source. As the impact, future generation will possibly face energy crisis. In Indonesia, the effort to conserve energy still has not been considered by many parties. Just in these recent years, Greenship certification which is awarded by GBCI (Green Building Council Indonesia) to certified green buildings in Indonesia, started to be recognized by project stakeholders and moreover in short time, Greenship will be one of requierements for applying building permit (IMB) in Surabaya. OTTV (Overall Thermal Transfer Value) calculation is one of criteria in Greenship assessment, where heat transfer through the whole building envelope is minimized to reduce building cooling load. The maximum value of OTTV is 35 W/m2 based on SNI 03-6389-2011. This research is conducted to study whether the OTTV of P1 and P2 of Petra Christian University Surabaya building has met this standard or not. If not, OTTV will be minimized by considering the facade material selection.

Abstract

Dalam lingkungan yang kompetitif seperti sekarang ini, pengetahuan tentang kebutuhan konsumen sangat penting bagi suatu perusahaan agar dapat bertahan. Quality Function Deployment (QFD) merupakan metode yang cocok untuk menganalisis kebutuhan konsumen karena QFD dapat menterjemahkan kebutuhan konsumen ke dalam suatu deskripsi teknis dan memastikan setiap hal yang penting dapat diprioritaskan dalam rekomendasi perancangan perumahan tersebut. Belum ada yang melakukan analisis kebutuhan konsumen dan menterjemahkannya kedalam suatu deskripsi teknis pada perumahan dengan luas bangunan 36-70 m2  di Surabaya, sehingga hal ini mendorong peneliti untuk menerapkan metode QFD pada perumahan dengan luas bangunan 36-70 m2 di Surabaya. Pada penelitian ini didapatkan 10 hal yang dapat dilakuan untuk perbaikan perumahan A di Surabaya timur yaitu CCTV, one gate system, kebijakan rumah hanya untuk hunian, tulangan sesuai SNI, sistem keamanan terpadu (patroli setiap 2 jam), lampu jalan setiap 30-40 m, perbaikan kekuatan tanah, saluran drainase tertutup, pengecekan bak kontrol drainase setiap 1 bulan, komplain ditanggapi maksimum 1-2 minggu.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memanfaatkan sebanyak mungkin limbah batubara terutama bottom ash sebagai bahan agregat buatan. komposisi campuran optimum bottom ash dan fly ash sebagai bahan agregat buatan adalah 1 semen: 3 fly ash: 20 bottom ash dalam perbandingan berat, kuat tekan agregat buatan pada umur 28 hari adalah 2,45 MPa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode air di spray pada bottom ash, sehingga bottom ash dapat dimanfaatkan sebanyak mungkin untuk agregat buatan, jumlah kebutuhan air yang di spray sebanyak 25-35% dari berat bottom ash. Hasil pengujian water content pada agregat buatan dalam keadaan SSD 23,25%. Berat jenis agregat buatan pada komposisi campuran B12F3 sebesar 1672 Kg/m³ dan angka kuat tekan sebesar 3,40 MPa pada umur 28 hari. Sedangkan uji kuat tekan beton dengan komposisi campuran 1 semen: 1½ pasir: 2½ agregat buatan pada umur 28 hari sebesar 18,37 MPa, berat jenis beton berbahan agregat buatan adalah 2098 Kg/m³.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Property plays important role in economy business activities. In 2013 property grows by 800,000 units per year, while the supply capacity is only 300,000 units per year. This fact makes the property growth become more interesting. This growth is supported by the middle class growth that reaches 100 million people in 2013 and is estimated to be 141 million people in 2020. Previous research is done on one residential area. This research aims to develop a residential satisfaction measurement model of middle class residential customers in Surabaya-Sidoarjo. This study is different from the previous one in that this research conducts survey on 3 residential complexes and utilizes more comprehensive model. 226 respondents from 3 residential areas in Surabaya-Sidoarjo were collected. The implication of this study is to give the information about the variables that are significant, the level of satisfaction of the consumers on those variables, and improvement priority for developers.The measurement model consists of 8 service quality variables and 9 product quality variables. Our finding shows that assurance and responsiveness are the most important variables in service quality. In product quality dimension, conformance and reliability are the most important variables. In addition, all developers need to improve empathy as the top priority of service quality, while features, serviceability and conformance are the top priority for improvement in terms of product quality.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan durabilitas beton dengan mengaplikasikan larutan alkali dan pasta geopolimer. Selain itu bagaimana pengaruh penggunaan metode perawatan steam curing pada beton, serta penggunaan variasi nilai molaritas dari coatings terhadap durabilitas beton. Pengujian durabilitas dibagi menjadi dua, yaitu pengujian penetrasi ion klorida dengan menggunakan Rapid Migration Test dan pengujian perendaman dalam larutan asam sulfat dengan kadar 10% dengan menggunakan metode Wet-dry cycle test. Dari pengujian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil bahwa dengan pengaplikasian larutan alkali dan pasta geopolimer durabilitas dari beton konvensional dan beton HVFA dapat meningkat. Selain itu dengan penggunaan metode perawatan steam curing dan peningkatan nilai molaritas pada larutan alkali dan pasta geopolimer juga dapat meningkatkan durabilitas dari beton terhadap pengujian perendaman asam sulfat. Namun dampak dari penggunaan metode perawatan steam curing dapat membuat beton mempunyai nilai penetrasi ion klorida yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan yang tidak dirawat dengan metode perawatan steam curing.
