Abstract

This study describes the reader's response to the ease and interest of students of SMK Negeri 1 Pekanbaru in understanding the elements of physical structure in the 10 poems in the collection of the poetry of Hujan Bulan Juni Sepilih Sajak by Sapardi Djoko Damono, who is one of the most famous writers in Indonesia with his various literary works, through distribution. a questionnaire of 50 students of SMK Negeri 1 Pekanbaru taken purposively. This research is a qualitative research. This research uses descriptive method. Data collection techniques in this study were obtained from questionnaires and interviews as supporters. The data analysis technique in this study begins with the steps, namely running a questionnaire, classifying the results of the response, grouping, discussing, connecting, making results, and drawing conclusions to get a picture of the object under study. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that 10 poems from the collection of Hujan Bulan Juni Sepilih Sajak by Sapardi Djoko Damono received positive responses from readers, namely as many as 4,922 and negative responses from readers as many as 1,578, so if the two responses were put together, the results were 6,500 responses.

Abstract

This research is motivated by several things, including the lack of studies on eco-feminism in novels in Indonesia, even in FKIP UIR there has been no research using the theory of eco-feminism. There are several ecofeminism studies that have been conducted before, but the data source used is by women, while ecofeminism research, which is the source of data, has never been done before. This study aims to describe, analyze, interpret, and conclude the eco-feminism in Tere Liye's novel About You, using Tong's eco-feminism study which includes several schools, namely (1) natural eco-feminism, (2) spiritualist eco-feminism, and (3) socialist eco-feminism. This research uses descriptive methods and content analysis techniques. The research data were obtained through a qualitative approach and using library research. The data in this research are in the form of words, phrases, clauses, sentences, and paragraphs that contain ecofeminism in them. The data source in this research is the novel About You by Tere Liye which was published in 2016 by the publishing agency Republika with a total of 524 pages and 33 chapters. The data collection technique in this research is the hermeneutic technique. The results showed that there was a flow of ecofeminism in Tere Liye's novel About You. The most dominant flow of eco-feminism is spiritualist ecofeminism because basically the lifestyle of caring women for nature often becomes a benchmark in everyday life to preserve the surrounding environment. Women and nature work together as partners in the process of sustaining life. On the other hand, the least flow is socialist ecofeminism because at this time the existence of socialist eco-feminism is very minimal acceptance among the community.

Abstract

Ekranization is a study that discusses the issue of casting a novel into a film. The problems of this research are: how is the process of ekranizationf the shrinking aspects in the novels and films of Surga yang Tak Dirindukan? How is the process of ekranization the additional aspects in the novel and film of Surga yang Tak Dirindukan? How is the process of ekranization the various aspects of change in novels and films of Surga yang Tak Dirindukan? This study aims to determine: the process of ekranization the shrinking aspects in the novel and film of Surga yang Tak Dirindukan; The process of ekranization the additional aspects in the novel and film of Surga yang Tak Dirindukan; The process of ekranization the various aspect of change from novels and films of Surga yang Tak Dirindukan. This research includes library research.This study uses a comparative descriptive method. Data collection techniques using hermeneutic techniques and documentation. The theory used is the theory of Eneste (1991). The results of the study: (1) In the aspect of shrinking, there are 61 data that occur in the elements of events, characters, and novel setting. Such as the absence of events from 3 novels, Adam charackter, and the boarding house setting in the film; (2) Additional aspects, there ara 40 data that occur on the elements of event, characters, and film settings. Such as the addition of scene 2, the character Sibil, and the background of the hospital roof in the film; (3) The aspect change various, there are 26 data that occur on the element of events, characters, and novel setting. Such as the depiction of event from 2 novel to scene 4 films, changes in the depiction of Arini’s character, and changes in the depiction of bedroom setting. The ekranization process causes shrinking, addition, and variation. This happens because of the differences in the media used in making novels and films, differences in the cultivation process, and differences in the enjoyment process.

Abstract

A pronoun is a pronoun that serves to replace a person, thing or something that is differentiated, pronouns are distinguished by personal pronouns. The problems in this research are (1) How to use personal pronoun pronouns in the editorial plan of the Riau Pos Daily Newspaper, (2) How to use directive pronouns in the editorial plan of the Riau Pos Daily Newspaper, (3) How to use their own pronoun pronouns in the editorial plan of the Riau Pos Daily Newspaper, (4) How do you use the pronoun pronoun in the editorial plan of the Riau Pos Daily Newspaper, (5) How is the use of conjunctive pronouns in the editorial plan of the Riau Pos Daily Newspaper and (6) How do you use indefinite pronouns in the editorial plan of the Riau Pos Daily Newspape. The purpose of this study was to collect data and information about the analysis of pronouns in the Riau Pos Daily newspaper editorial. The theory used in analyzing the problem of this research is pronouns according to H. Guntur T (2009). The method used in this research is descriptive method, this research approach uses a qualitative approach. This type of research includes literature study, as well as data collection techniques using documentation and hermeneutic techniques. The data in this study are in the form of the Riau Pos 2020 daily newspaper editorial, which consists of 26 editions. From the data analysis in this study, the authors conclude that the editorial plan of the Riau Pos daily newspaper uses the pronoun form of the self-pronoun, the directive pronoun, the owner's pronoun, the pen pronoun, the liaison and indefinite pronouns in presenting news and information to society. Abstract

Newspapers are media of information read by the public. Thus, the use of language has an important role in making newspapers, especially journalism, so that language errors do not occur. However, language errors were still found in the headline of the Republika newspaper at the syntactic level in the field of phrases and sentences. This language error occurs because of a lack of understanding of the rules of the Indonesian language in writing news. The problems in this research are 1. How is the language error at the syntactic level of the phrase field in the headline of the Republika newspaper? 2. How is the language error at the syntactic level of the sentence field in the headline of the Republika newspaper? The purpose of this research is to describe, classify and analyze language errors at the syntactic level of the phrases and sentences in the headline of the Republika newspaper in order to obtain actual results. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The data in this study are language errors in the fields of phrases and sentences contained in the headline of the Republika newspaper. The theory used refers to various theories put forward by Setyawati (2010) and Tarigan (2011). Techniques for data collection using documentation and Content Analysis (Content Analysis). The results of data analysis that has been carried out in the Headline of the Republika newspaper, found 36 errors in the phrase field, namely the influence of regional languages, the use of inappropriateprepositions, the use of excessive or redundant elements and excessive superlative forms. The sentence field errors found 84 errors, namely sentences that are not subject to, sentences are not subject to and are not predicated (stumped sentences), omission of conjunctions, excessive use of conjunctions, using foreign terms and using unnecessary question words. So there were 120 errors in the language at the syntactic level in the Header of the Republika newspaper.

Abstract

Every story is built by context. Without context, there is no story because the context of the discourse builds it. Every reading, one of which is novel reading, is built by context. Context is used to understand a story, because context determines the meaning of speech so that it can interpret the situation or scope of language in discourse. The problem in this research is how the discourse context in the novel Selembar Itu Means is Suryaman Amipriono's work related to the setting and scene, participants, message, key, instrument, norms. , and what kind (genre)? The purpose of this research is to describe, analyze, and interpret the discourse context in Suryamana Amipriono's novel Selembar Itu Means. The theory used in this research is a theory in which there is a discourse context as stated by Hymes in Darma (2013) and other supporting theories. The source of data in this study is the source of written data, namely the novel Selembar Itu Berarti by Suryaman Amipriono. The data in this study are elements of discourse context. The method used in this research is descriptive method, qualitative approach, this type of research is a library (Library Research). Data collection techniques using hermeneutical techniques. The results of this study found eight elements of context in the novel Selembar Itu Means by Suryaman Amipriono, namely (1) forty-seven settings and scenes, (2) twenty-three participants, (3) the results (ends) were found as many as fifteen data, (4) the message (message) was found as many as twenty-three data, (5) how (key) was found as many as nineteen data, (6) the means (instrument) was found as much as one data, 7) twelve data found norms (norms), (8) one data type (genre) was found. It can be concluded that in Suryaman Amipriono's novel Selembar Itu Mean, there are eight elements of discourse context. In a novel, it is very rare to find no eight elements of discourse context. Because the context of discourse is the most important element in building a story.

Abstract

In fact every story is built by elements of the context of discourse. One of them is folklore, without context there will be no story, because it is the context of discourse that builds it. in the book collection of folklore of the region in Riau province the author found the existence of context in the form of background, participants, results, mandates, ways, means, norms and types in each story so as to make the story interesting to read. The problem in this research is how is the context of the discourse contained in the book collection of folklore in Riau Province? This study aims to describe, analyze, interpret and conclude data about the context of discourse in the book collection of folklore in Riau Province. The theory used in this research is the theory put forward by Hymes in Djajasudarma (2010). Methodology in this research uses content analysis method, qualitative approach and type of library research. Data collection techniques used are documentation and hermeneutic techniques. The results of this study found eight elements of discourse context, namely the background element (setting and scene) there are 142 data, participants there are 54 data, elements of results (ends) there are 13 data, message elements there are 13 data, elements of the way (key) there are 33 data, elements of facilities (instruments) there are 13 data, norms there are 13 data and type elements (genres) there are 13 data. Based on the context analysis, it can be concluded that the data in the book collection of folklore in riau province amounted to 294 data and all the context data is the most important element in building the story, because without context there will be no story.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the number of teachers at SMA N 3 Mandau who made assessment rubrics. The problems studied in this study are: How is the analytical biographical assessment rubric in Indonesian RPP class X semester 2 of 2019/2020 SMA N 3 Mandau? What is the biographical holistic assessment rubric in Indonesian RPP class X semester 2 of 2019/2020 SMA Negeri 3 Mandau? The purpose of this study was to determine the rubric of biographical analytic assessment in Indonesian RPP class X semester 2 of 2019/2020 SMA Negeri 3 Mandau. To find out the biographical holistic assessment rubric in Indonesian RPP class X semester 2 of 2019/2020 SMA Negeri 3 Mandau. The research method used is the method of content analysis (Content Analysis). The research approach carried out by the author uses a qualitative research approach. The data collection technique in this research is documentation technique. The results of the research are the analytical rubric that the author obtained from the Indonesian RPP, which amounted to 6 data, not in accordance with the stages of designing a rubric which consists of 4 components, namely the criteria component, the weight component, the performance level component, and the score component. The holistic rubric that the author obtained from the Indonesian RPP consists of 4 data which are in accordance with the stages of designing a holistic rubric which consists of 2 components, namely the description component and the score component.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are 1) to describe, analyze and interpret the interrogative speech contained in the online media gathering event of the impact of covid-19 on RSPO oil palm farmers on YouTube and 2) to describe, analyze and interpret the principles of politeness in every interrogative way at the event. online media gathering about the impact of covid-19 on RSPO oil palm farmers on youtube. This research is classified as a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection in this study is related to the following matters: 1) documentation techniques, 2) listening techniques, and 3) note taking techniques. Sources of data in this study are the speeches of presenters and resource persons, while the data in this study are interrogative speeches spoken by the emcees and speakers. In accordance with the problems in the study, namely, ordering, interrogative and maxim of the principle of politeness, the results of this are 1) by adding the word "what" or "what" according to 28 utterances, 2) by reversing the order of 8 words of speech, 3) by using the word "not" or "no" 3 utterances, 4) by changing the intonation of the sentence 9 utterances, 5) by using 17 interrogative words. Meanwhile, from the maxims of politeness principles: 1) desire maxima 12 utterances, 2) maxim of generosity the desired result is 1 speech, maxim of appreciation 4 utterances, 5) maxim of consensus desire 44 utterances, and 6) maxim sympathy desire 2 utterances.

Abstract

Webinars are seminars or meetings held virtually using certain internet-based applications. In participating in webinar activities, many types of speech that can be used by webinar participants, one of which is declarative speech. Declarative speech can be examined from various aspect, including aspect of function and the principle of politeness. This study aims to describe, analyze, and interpret declarative politeness in the educational webinar activity “The Role pf Teachers in Developing Distance Learning in the Respecting the New Normal #1” on Youtube. This research uses a descriptive method. The data analysis technique in this study used content analysis techniques. Data collection techniques used in this study were documentation techniques, listening techniques, and note-taking techniques. The data in this study are in the form of declarative speech spoken by the webinar participants. Sources of data in this study are the entire speeches of the educational webinar participants “The Role of Teachers in Developing Distance Learning in Respecting New Normal #1” which was broadcast live on June 17, 2020. The results of this study indicate the following. First, the most declarative function found in the speeches of webinar participants in educational webinar activities is the function of declaring information. Based on the data analysis of the declarative speech function, the function of declaring information is widely found because most of the contents of this webinar activity are providing information or matters relating to information about the role of teachers in developing distance learning. Second, the maxims of politeness principles found in the declarative utterances of webinar participants in educational webinar activities are maxim of appreciation and maxim of sympathy. Based on the data analysis, the maxim of politeness principle, the maxim of appreciation and the maxim of sympathy were found because the webinar participants were more likely to show respect and sympathy for the speech partner.
