Abstract

The internal research information system is an application that is used to manage research proposal data within the scope of the Indramayu State Polytechnic (POLINDRA) starting from submission, assessment, implementation to reporting. At first the system at the Indramayu State Polytechnic was still not well integrated in terms of submitting proposals from lecturers, because the sending process was still using email. Then the approval process for the proposal will be seen by external reviewers. Furthermore, the self-assessment process is carried out by filling out the assessment form provided by P3M, then it will be sent to the Reviewer via email. The choice of a website system for the development of this application is not only easier to operate and the flexible nature of the website is one of the reasons. The problem raised in this topic is that the submission of proposals is still manual using email so that data errors may still occur, data is lost or damaged. With this application, it is expected to be able to manage the proposed data so that it is fast, efficient and optimally the data stored in the system. Making this application using the Kanban method. This application is also built using the Laravel Framework and MariaDB Database. The tests carried out in this study used black-box testing with the results of testing the available features successfully and the program running well. With the Internal Research Information System through the proposal feature that displays a list of existing research proposals to the proposer. So that in sending, evaluating proposals and managing research proposals so that the process of sending, evaluating and approving proposals submitted by lecturers at the Indramayu State Polytechnic becomes easier, faster, efficient, and well integrated.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology is increasingly sophisticated, especially in the field of networks. This development is closely related to the internet which is one of the most popular information providers today. The increasing need for information will demand fast access to get the latest information, one of which is the most dominant influencing the speed of access to a particular website is the service provider. Therefore it takes a server that has good quality and performance or has many servers so that it is not burdened on one server. Application load balancing is one of the right solutions to overcome this problem. The load balancing application will share the network load and avoid overloading one of the servers. The load balancing application method used is round robin with stickiness. When one server crashes, the load balancing application will automatically redirect requests to another server that is still functioning, so that the website can be accessed..

Abstract

Currently, Indonesia is being faced with the COVID-19 pandemic, to prevent being infected with the corona virus, it is to implement health protocols, especially in public places such as shopping centers to airports. The method taken by the Indonesian government in reducing the spread of the corona virus is by implementing PPKM (Enforcement of Community Activity Restrictions) which is one of the requirements for restaurants/cafes, namely limiting the number of visitors to eat in places that are allowed to be around 25% and checking the temperature of restaurant/cafe visitors. The Cloud Computing implementation tool on the temperature monitoring sistem and the number of visitors can assist in the implementation of health protocols in checking the body temperature of visitors at your cafe and make it easier for cafe owners to monitor the number of visitors so that when workers allow an increase in the number of visitors, it can be immediately known through a linked website. with tools.

Abstract

The learning process or other activities related to electronics are often faced with various symbols of electronic components, where sometimes it is difficult to distinguish and know the symbols, physical forms, and functions of these electronic components. Especially at this time the learning process is carried out online. So that students do not understand the material being taught. For this reason, it is necessary to make learning media using augmented reality technology to make it easier for students to learn about basic electronic components. The system is built using the android platform that displays 3D models using markers in the form of 2D images and presents an interface and 3D image processing for basic electronics components using Unity 3D software. The programming line used is C#, the augmented reality technology processing engine used in this application is Vuforia which is an additional package to the Unity 3D Software

Abstract

In the COVID-19 pandemic, masks are an important necessity for the community. The use of masks is very important to prevent the transmission of COVID-19. During the current pandemic, the Padang State Polytechnic campus allows students to visit the library on the terms and conditions that students must comply with health protocols. However, there are still many students who do not comply with health protocols, especially in using masks. Therefore, a tool that can detect masks is needed to protect/prevent people who do not wear masks from wearing masks when visiting the library in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The face detection system is masked or not using python version 3 with the OpenCV library, and Tensorflow. This system uses a webcam, Raspberry Pi 3 Model B, and Buzzer. The webcam is used to capture the image of the mask user. The captured image will be processed and classified on the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B. A buzzer will sound if the classification result is a face without a mask. The tool will be equipped with displaying the results of monitoring library visitor data in the form of a website using AWS EC2 as the infrastructure
