Abstract

Attendance data collection activities are routine. In general, this is done by signing an attendance sheet. This is considered slow and also causes disruption in carrying out lectures and activities. One solution to the problem is to use Face Recognition, Face Recognition is a biometric technology that has been widely applied in security systems in addition to eye retina recognition, fingerprint and iris recognition. In the application itself, face recognition uses a camera to capture a person's face and then compare it with faces that have previously been stored in a certain database. In the manufacturing process, Raspberry pi is used as the core of this tool. With the three things above, namely Attendance, Face Recognition, and Raspberry pi, a tool is formed that can meet the needs of an automatic, effective, and efficient attendance process

Abstract

Pada sebuah gudang terdapat proses penjemputan dan pengantaran barang dengan menggunakan mobil angkut barang sehingga banyak tahapan proses dalam penjemputan dan pengantaran barang menjadi salah satu faktor penentu efektifitas dalam sebuah gudang. Untuk itu perlu adanya sebuah alat yang mampu menjemput dan mengatarkan barang secara otomatis dengan menggunakan sistem pengalamatan lokasi barang di dalam gudang. Alat pengangkut barang ini dapat membantu proses penjemputan dan pengantaran barang di dalam gudang tanpa perlu dikendarai sehingga karyawan tidak perlu mengetahui posisi penyimpanan barang secara keseluruhan. Cara kerja alat ini menggunakan nodemcu sebagai pengatur pergerakan alat dan juga sebagai penerima dan pengirim perintah dari server lokal. Dalam pergerakannya alat ini memanfaatkan jeda waktu pergerakan motor sebagai acuan dalam pergerakan sehingga alat ini bisa bergerak maju, mundur, dan juga berbelok. Tampilan akhir dari alat ini berupa aplikasi berbasiskan website lokal.

Abstract

Control and monitoring of water in a tank is a computer instrumentation needed in industry. This final project discusses a water monitoring application in water tornautomatically based on android and supported by a microcontroller. One of the developing technology fields is microcontroller technology. In designing this device, it uses a NodeMCU microcontroller as a data processor and an ultrasonicsensor as data input as well as a buzzer and servo. An ultrasonic sensor is a devicethat can measure the distance of an object by utilizing reflected ultrasonic waves. This water monitoring uses firebase as a database to store data. To displaymeasurement data, the interface is also designed using the Android Studioapplication software in the form of graphs, pump status, and water notifications.The test results show that the ultrasonic sensor used is able to measure water levels from 2 cm to 20 cm with an average measurement error of 4.93%. Water monitoringis designed to be able to produce a system output response according to thereference value given. In addition, water level monitoring can be displayed on the Android software interactively

Abstract

Drawers for storing micro-sized electronic items that are usually used on campus are napolly-type drawers, which are plastic drawers, these drawers are considered ineffective because there is no notification that the drawer is open or the drawer is being opened by someone. In this case the authors designed and made the Drawer Door Security Prototype Using LDR and RFID sensors with a Microcontroller-based Sentora Platform. This system is equipped with an LDR sensor as a detector that if the drawer is opened too long then the alarm will be active until the door is closed again. RFID as a drawer door opener access. ESP8266 as a medium for sending data from the Arduino System to Sentora and using a web service to provide information to the drawer owner. If the LDR sensor detects an open drawer door for too long then ESP8266 will send information to the sentora that uses the web service as a notification. If the RFID Tag is registered, the solenoid opens. The state of the solenoid as a door lock will be displayed on the web service that the state of the solenoid has changed. From making this tool, it is expected that if there is someone who wants to break into a drawer it will be easily captured and more secure because it uses multiple layers of security

Abstract

IoT technology is currently very developed. Usually the chicken incubates the eggs naturally by the mother. but at this time many egg incubators have been produced. incubating eggs made by humans can be done with a very large number of eggs. Both of these incubation techniques have their respective advantages and disadvantages. Among these machines, the heat setting of the machine is still manual, namely by checking the temperature periodically so that it is not too hot or too hot to hatch the eggs and it will be very draining. Egg incubators that are widely circulating today are more wasteful of electricity, because the use of lights on these tools is not controlled so that they will continue to burn and will use a lot of electricity. This research project makes a tool to hatch eggs and keep the temperature stable. A tool that can adjust the temperature automatically and send the data to the user. Send the data that has been collected from the sensor to the user via the nodeMCU microcontroller. And can monitor the state of the egg hatching device via Andrioid user who has sent data from the device and stored in the database then sent to the server.

Abstract

Handling of network problems at Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kota Padang is still done conventionally. This conventional method has several weaknesses, among others: the process of finding out slow network problems, information on problematic network conditions is conveyed using voice calls from smartphones, the slow network checking process and inefficient use of time. From this problem, a system for network handling that utilizes information technology is developed called Network Monitoring by implementing the Cacti and Telegram software functions. The result of this research is a network monitoring system based on web browser and mobile by implementing Cacti with SNMP features as network monitoring and Telegram as notification. The aim is to reduce weaknesses in the handling and repair of the network that has been used in Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kota Padang

Abstract

Previously, sales and service offerings were only carried out directly, which of course made consumers feel less interested, because they had to exhaust themselves to go to places of people who opened services. From this problem, a system regarding service transactions was developed based on the Application programming Interface (API) as the backend and implemented on the mobile android as the frontend. In this final project, produce an API-based system with REST architecture in terms of backend to facilitate the service transaction process and apply it to an android application as a user interface.

Abstract

The network administrator is a person who is responsible for managing computer networks. One of the duties of a network administrator is network monitoring because errors on the server and services running on the server cannot be known when it happened. This can be difficult if the administrator is far from a surveillance center. This situation can be fatal if there is an error on the server and suddenly the service from the server is not running properly without being noticed because the network administrator is not on the spot. By utilizing Prometheus and Grafana with a telegram notification system that uses a Linux-based server, network administrators can get information on server conditions and services running on the server quickly. The result obtained is a system that is able to assist network administrators in monitoring servers and services that are running on the server anytime and anywhere to keep servers and services running on the server stable even though the network administrator is not in the monitoring center

Abstract

This research aims to create an Android-based E-Tourism application which aims to make it easier for the public to find important locations around the city of Kuala Tungkal where this application will be able to recommend the place being sought based on the closest distance from the user. In this final project, the android application is made using the Android Studio with the Java programming language. And the API is made using PHP. While in the database section using MySQL. At the end of this final project, the android application will be able to display the location and location details and can sort the location from the closest distance from the user standing

Telegram users can communicate with Telegram Bot to get monitoring information about Nextcloud. There are several commands that are used to obtain monitoring information
