Abstract

The golden age or period for early childhood (0-6 years) is a period where children experience very rapid growth and development, which then at the age of 4-6 years is a period where they take formal education such as Kindergarten. This period is a good time to develop language skills, physical, emotional, social, discipline and all the abilities of the child. In addition, family also plays an important role in the development of the children’s potential and growth. One of the important aspects in the growth and development of children is language skills, as the language is a means of communication with parents, teachers, and peers who are their present social environment. Children at this age cannot be separated from their parents or family as the children initially learn language from adult examples. At an early age, problems often occur because sometimes children cannot speak clearly and firmly which is caused by the slow development of children in language due to the lack of stimulus provided. Therefore, this study aims to improve expressive language skills of early childhood through the media of the Picture Book (Big Book).

Abstract

Based on the experience of researchers as counselors in dealing with women's life problems, one of the problems experienced by women is divorce that occurs because they are considered to be a person who can be humiliated, not allowed to work, isolated from home affairs and child care without regard to his personal needs as a woman , and other treatments that are considered and felt to be unfair to a woman. That experience makes them forced to divorce and continue their lives by striving to be a person who does everything normal men do, such as working and participating in the social world. The purpose of this study is to find out the description of women's behavior in an attempt to become a self (becoming the self) in the midst of the divorce issues they experienced through four women who had experienced divorce as a sample in this study. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method that will provide a complete picture of the process of women in their efforts to become themselves. Abstract

Forests are the most important part of human survival, including the people in Merauke Regency, Papua. The benefits of forests for Papuans are felt directly as a source of life, as pharmacies that provide natural medicines. Forests also provide all human needs that can be used for free. For Papuans, the forest has a philosophical affinity for women. In the 2001-2019 period, forest destruction in Merauke was the highest in Papua Province. Therefore, this study aims to examine the impact of the forest crisis on women in Merauke. This research also intends to examine the process of the forest crisis, as well as the efforts made by the government and other related institutions in dealing with these problems. By using qualitative methods and secondary data sourced from relevant books, articles, and web pages on the website, the author tries to analyze the topic using ecofeminism theory and the concept of human security. The results and conclusions obtained from this study are that the forest crisis in Merauke is on average caused by the opening of plantations dominated by oil palm. The impact on indigenous peoples, which includes women, is oppression, violations of the rights of indigenous peoples, an increasingly heavy double burden to the threat of poverty, hunger and disease. In this case, government policies are considered not optimal to overcome these problems.

Abstract

Social policy is a form of public policy which is a government decision made to respond to issues of a public nature, namely overcoming social problems or meeting the needs of the public at large. Social policy is also a provision designed collectively to prevent social problems (preventive function), overcome social problems (curative function) and promote welfare (development function) as a form of state obligation in fulfilling the rights of its citizens. In other terms, social policy can be said to be a social aspect, that is, something related to the field of social welfare. Social policies are the principles, procedures and procedures of existing laws, which serve as administrative and regulatory guidelines for institutions that affect public welfare. By using a qualitative approach with a descriptive type, the research conducted at the Malang Regency Social Service found that there were various stakeholders involved in various preventive, rehabilitative and prosecution efforts against the perpetrators of the crime of human trafficking. But the results have not been optimal due to several main things, including the absence of a Regional Regulation that explicitly discusses anti-human trafficking. In addition, the commitment of local governments to human resource development, especially targeting vulnerable socio-economic groups to become victims of the criminal act of trafficking in persons, is still not maximal.

Abstract

There are certainly many issues about gender that have been spread, with various kinds of facts being presented and exposed so that various types of scientific perspectives have emerged discussing gender. As if in rhythm but not in line with the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia which adheres to a democratized government system, of course, the results will not be the same in terms of gender discussions which are influenced by many faktors, even though countries in Asia, Africa and America both adhere to the notion of the same system of government that is democratic. The establishment of gender equality can certainly be determined by several faktors, if it occurs in the plurality of society in Indonesia with the high level of culture and the breadth of the geographical sector, a new perspective is required, namely the perspective of geographical conditions. The results of this study indicate that gender equality can be built fairly due to certain geographical faktors, but does not rule out biological, religious and cultural constructions. In fact, other results related to forms of gender discrimination such as marginalization, subordination, stereotypes, violence, double burden, were not found.
