Abstract

The Cash Social Assistance Program (BST) is one of the aid programmes for victims of the Covid-19 pandemic. It gives money to low-income, vulnerable, and low-income families. BST is the only programme that provides social protection to the village's residents. It differs from the autonomous village in that it can assist the community in a wider variety of ways and with greater flexibility. This is because Kelurahan and Desa are located in separate locations. This study employs a descriptive methodology for qualitative research. Interviews, observation, and documentation are methods for collecting data. People who assisted with the research included the head of Social Service, the Sub-District of Murung Pudak, the Village Head of Mabu'un, the head of the Post Office in Murung Pudak, Social Welfare workers from the Murung Pudak District, the Village Facilitator of Mabu'un, the head of RT Mabu'un Village, and beneficiaries of the programme. Data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion were utilised for data analysis. The results of the research on implementing cash social assistance in Mabu'un Village indicate that, in general, everyone is aware of what's going on, as each stakeholder has performed his or her specific function. This is supported by the fact that good people are committed, trustworthy, and loyal to implementing the BST Program despite the absence of special incentives. Obstacles to the BST Program include overlapping beneficiary data, unclear criteria, a community mentality that is always dependent on the government, a lack of public understanding of the types of assistance, immigrants in Mabu'un village in Population Administration not knowing about the BST Program, so they do not enrol, and a lack of staff to distribute BST disbursement invitations.

Abstract

Banjarmasin has a serious problem with unemployment. According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of the City of Banjarmasin, the togetherness rate in the city of Banjarmasin rose by 0.78 percent between 2019 and 2021, with the COVID-19 pandemic playing a role. This forces individuals to adapt in order to continue facing life's challenges. One of the occupations chosen by the residents of Banjarmasin is that of the street performer. The concept used by street clowns in the city of Banjarmasin originated from the criteria of clowns themselves, which is that the clown is a supporting character by displaying interesting, funny, and endearing choreography and is now a clown who only sits while displaying facial expressions that beg for mercy from people. This study seeks to determine the motivations behind a person's decision to become a street clown and the significance of their emergence. The researcher employs Max Weber's Social Action theory and Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs theory in the analysis. This study employs a phenomenological research methodology. According to the findings of this study, someone becomes a street clown because one of their needs is unmet. Moreover, the public considers the presence of street clowns to be extremely disturbing. Since their practise has reached a crossroads. Therefore, it can endanger both motorists and clowns. Some consider street clowns beggars due to their practice of displaying a pitiful face to solicit money from the community. But the children had a different perspective; whatever face the clown saw was entertaining to them. This implies that the street clown has multiple meanings, depending on how the actor interprets the street clown's actions.

Abstract

Technology that is currently advancing at a rapid rate is unavoidable in daily life because technological progress will continue to coincide with scientific progress. To construct a government system, society's needs must be met in full. Society is essential to the development of a nation. The purpose of this study is to determine how the performance of an agency is overcoming problems that frequently arise in society, such as prohibited parking. The innovation of SIMDEK is the solution to all superfluous parking activities. This research employs a descriptive method, a qualitative method, and a qualitative approach, and its analysis of the results is based on a review of the relevant literature. Consequently, the authors of this study examine performance indicators, including input, process, output, results, benefits, and impact. The transportation agency's top priority in eradicating all violations is this issue. Based on the findings of this study, the efficacy of the transportation service in addressing illegal parking using the crane system has been extremely efficient since 2021. Nonetheless, in terms of supporting facilities for the illegal parking program through the SIMDEK application, this policy eliminates illegal parking by towing vehicles with a hydraulic vehicle. Since there is only one vehicle on the tow truck, the performance of the transport department is severely constrained. Therefore, it can be concluded that the performance of the transportation service through the crane information system (SIMDEK) has a significant effect on illegal parking violations and makes online reporting simpler for citizens.

Abstract

Indonesia's 22.5 million hectares of peat forest, which is capable of storing 30% of the world's carbon dioxide, has attracted Norway to provide international assistance in implementing the REDD+ scheme. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods to analyze Norway's international aid based on the concept of international aid and the effectiveness of international aid in the failure of peat forest restoration in Indonesia. Four Norwegian aid funding mechanisms through NICFI failed to reduce carbon emissions by 41%, following the provisions of the Letter of Intent (LoI) on REDD+ agreed upon by Indonesia and Norway in 2009. The reason is that Norway's national interests are mixed with international aid provided, so that is Self-Interest following the dimensions of international assistance. This also makes the effectiveness of international assistance insignificant even though it is following the five principles of the Paris Declaration on Aids Effectiveness. Keywords: REDD+, International Aid Concept, International Aid Effectiveness Concept, Funding Mechanism, Self-Interest, and Carbon Emissions
