Abstract

This research was conducted to examine the influence of dividend policy to the company's stock price incorporated in LQ45 Index. The benchmark of the dividend policy are Dividend per Share (DPS) and Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). In addition, it also considered Free Cash Flow (FCF) and Market-to-Book Equity Ratio (MVEBVE) as the control variables. Population of this research is 45 companies incorporated in the index listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the year 2009-2013 and by purposive sampling the sample size is 15 companies. The data was collected through literature review and documentary studies. The analysis technique used was panel data and multiple regressions analysis. The research found that DPS has positive and significant influence on the stock price; DPR and FCF has negative and insignificant influence toward the stock price; and Market-to-Book Equity Ratio (MVEBVE) has positive and significant influence toward the stock price. Abstract

This research tries to analyze the effect of Indonesian president and vice-president election towards stocks liquidity and market reaction in Indonesia. Indicators in this study are the abnormal return and bid-ask spread. The samples in this study are both LQ45 index and PEFINDO25 index that actively traded on the June 25, 2015 (t-10) until July 23, 2015 (t+10). The data in this study are secondary data which consists of daily closing prices, Jakarta Composite Index (JSI) daily data, and daily Bid-offer data. The tools of this analyze using t-test and paired samples t-test. T-test results in LQ45 indicates that the abnormal returns are positive and significant on t-5, t-4, t-2, t + 5, and t + 7 t and on the PEFINDO25 there are also positive abnormal returns and significant on t-8, t + 5, t + 7, and t + 10. The test results of paired sample t-test on abnormal stock returns of LQ45 and PEFINDO25 found that there were no significant difference in the time before and after the event of Indonesian elections. The test results of paired sample t-test on the bid-ask spread LQ45 also found that there was no significant difference in the time before and after the event in LQ45, but the bid-ask spread is significant in PEFINDO25. Abstract

Rapid changes happen in Economy and technological development require every human resource to increase their ability and capability to compete with each other. Because human resource is an important aspect in an organization, all of organization would choose the best human resource to be placed in their company. Education institution is aim to build and create best human resources for the future. The implementation of education process is expected to produce qualified and high competitiveness human resources to face competition in the era of globalization. Improving the quality of human resources is the emphasis of educational purposes. To achieve the goals of the institution educator or teachers should have a good or better performance. The performance of the teachers can be affect by various factors such as job stress and motivation. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of Job stress and Motivation on Teachers’ performance. Primary data was gathered using questionnaire base on 40 Teachers of SD and SMP Swasta Pertiwi Pontianak, interview with Headmaster, and observation. The results of the study revealed that Job stress have negative significant impact on Teacher’ performance and Motivation have positive significant impact on Teacher’ performance. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh rasio modal kerja dengan variabel Working Capital Turnover, rasio siklus kas dengan variable Cash Conversion Cycle, dan rasio hutang dengan variabel Debt to Equity Rasio terhadap profitabilitas pada sektor farmasi di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan perusahaan sektor farmasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2007-2012. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linear berganda dengan tingkat signifikan α = 5%. Pengerjaan analisis regresi linear berganda menggunakan program SPSS 16.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Working Capital Turnover memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Profitabilitas. Sedangkan Cash Conversion Cycle memiliki pengaruh yang tidak signifikan terhadap Profitabilitas, Debt to Equity Ratio memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Profitabilitas.   Kata kunci : Working Capital Turnover, Cash Conversion Cycle, dan Debt to   Equity Rasio, Profitabilitas

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan,  motivasi  dan  disiplin  kerja  terhadap kinerja  guru pada Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Ketapang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dan dilaksanakan pada 43 Guru Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Ketapang. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan bantuan SPSS versi 17. Teknik sampling yang dipakai adalah metode sensus dan teknik pengujian data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi uji validitas dengan analisis faktor, uji reliabilitas dengan Alpha Cronbach. Uji asumsi klasik dan analisis regresi liner berganda, untuk menguji dan membuktikan hipotesis penelitian.   Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Motivasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan.   Kata Kunci: Gaya kepemimpinan, Motivasi, Disiplin Kerja dan Kinerja Karyawan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the factors that affecting employees’ work motivation. There were two factors that chosen for this research which are job satisfaction and compensation. The research is done by descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression as it was counted with using SPSS 20. The primary data was gathered using questionnaire based on 70 employees of Kantor Kecamatan Pontianak Utara. The results of the study revealed that job satisfaction and compensation simultaneously have positive impact on employees’ work motivation and partially shows that  job satisfaction has no significant affect on employees’ work motivation while  compensation significantly affects employees’ work motivation at Kantor Kecamatan Pontianak Utara. Abstract

This Study aimed  to test and analysis  the influence of achievement,   recognition, the work it self,   responsibility  and Advancement on the  performance of teachers at State Elementary Schools in Delta Pawan Sub-Distri, Ketapang. This Research used  the quantitative analysis method because the  research data in the form  of  figures and analysis employed statistic. Samples used  in this study were all a permanent employess with a total of 56 people. The analysis tecnique used was the multipe regression. The analysis and discussion in this study  concluded  that Achievement (X1)  partially had  no significant influence on the employess’ performance;  Recognition (X2)  partially  had a influence on the employess’  significant influence on the empoyess’ performance;  The Work it self  (X3) partially had  no significant influence on the employess’ performance;   Responsibility (X4) partially had  no significant influence on the employess’ performance;  (X5) partially had  no significant influence on the employess’ performance; Keywords : Work Motivation, teachers  performance

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh profitabilitas dan leverage terhadap return saham secara parsial maupun simultan pada perusahaan logam dan sejenisnya yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2009-2012.   Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sektor industri dasar dan kimia, perusahaan sub sektor logam dan sejenisnya yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada periode 2009-2012, yang sesuai dengan kriteria yang ditetapkan diperoleh sebanyak 10 perusahaan. Variabel yang diteliti meliputi Return On Investment (ROI), Return On Equity (ROE), dan Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) sebagai variabel bebas dan return saham sebagai variabel terikat. Data diperoleh melalui data sekunder dari BEI dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi berganda.   Secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa variabel ROI dan DER berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap return saham dengan tingkat signifikansi masing-masing 0,001 dan 0,015 yang lebih kecil daripada 0,05. Sementara variabel ROE berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap return saham dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,016. Kata kunci: ROI, ROE, DER dan return saham

Abstract

The market for foreign exchange is the most heavily traded of all financial market.The aims of this study is to analyze the risk and return of the foreign exchanges andto construct an optimal portfolio by Markowitz’s model. For this purpose, themonthly average return of 8 hard currencies against both USD and IDR asreference currencies for the years of 2010 to 2014 have been considered. Theoptimum portfolio of foreign exchanges against USD only consists of CHF, givingthe return of 0.122% and it has standard deviation of 2.634%. While, the optimumportfolio of foreign exchanges against IDR consists of GBP and CHF, giving thereturn of 0.699% and it has standard deviation of 2.248%. The findings of thisstudy will be useful for investors in investment strategy, particularly on foreignexchange market.Key words: Portfolio optimization, Markowitz’s model, Foreign exchanges market

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh citra merek (brand image) terhadap loyalitas konsumen produk oli pelumas PT Pertamina (Persero) Enduro Matic di Pontianak. Loyalitas konsumen merupakan hal yang penting untuk dilakukan suatu perusahaan untuk mengatasi persaingan yang ketat di dunia usaha sekarang ini. Salah satu jalan untuk meraih keunggulan kompetisi dalam mempertahankan loyalitas konsumen adalah dengan membentuk citra merek yang baik di mata konsumen. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari kuesioner (primer) dan beberapa observasi serta wawancara langsung dengan pihak terkait dengan produk Enduro Matic. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda dengan menggunakan uji hipotesis, yaitu uji F dan uji t. Berdasarkan uji statistik dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel citra merek yang terdiri dari dimensi citra perusahaan, citra produk, dan citra pemakai secara bersama-sama (simultan-uji F) memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap variabel loyalitas konsumen. Berdasarkan uji t, citra perusahaan dan citra produk tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas konsumen, sedangkan citra pemakai memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas konsumen. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh nilai Adjusted R Square sebesar 0,636, hal tersebut berarti bahwa 63,6%  variabel loyalitas konsumen dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel independennya, yaitu citra perusahaan, citra produk, dan citra pemakai, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 36,4%  dijelaskan oleh variabel-variabel lain di luar penelitian ini.
