Abstract

Based on the results of data analysis and discussion of research results, it was concluded that students with high algebraic thinking ability category were able to fulfill all indicators of algebraic thinking on problem solving problems. For students with moderate algebraic thinking ability categories, students have not been able to think analytically and dynamically and organize, in other words, they have not been able to fulfill all indicators of algebraic thinking on problem solving problems. Meanwhile, for students with low thinking ability category, students have not been able to think analytically and dynamically and organizationally, as evidenced by students who have difficulty in the elimination method step, namely students are not able to complete the stages of the elimination method of one of the variables x or y correctly. So, the values ​​of x and y obtained by students are wrong. In addition to these errors, students also did not write down what value conclusions were intended/looked for in the problem, in other words, they had not been able to fulfill all the indicators of algebraic thinking in problem solving questions.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan peserta didik dengan kemampuan matematis yang tinggi telah memenuhi empat tahapan Polya dengan baik dalam menyelesaikan masalah terkait materi eksponensial. Memahami masalah ditunjukan dengan peserta didik menuliskan informasi yang diketahui dan ditanyadari soal. Menyusun rencana dan melaksanakan rencana dilakukan dengan baik dan benar sesuai prosedur, serta memeriksa kembali hasil pekerjaannya dari awal hingga akhir. Sedangkan peserta didik dengan kemampuan matematis sedang, dalam memahami masalah masih kurang karena dalam menuliskan informasi ditanya masih kurang lengkap, saat melaksanakan rencana ada kesalahan dalam mensubstitusikan nilai, dan tidak melakukan memeriksa kembali hasil pekerjaannya dari awal hingga akhir. Sementara peserta didik dengan kemampuan rendah hanya dapat memahami masalah, namun masih kesulitan pada tahap merencanakan, melaksanakan rencana, dan melakukan pemeriksaan kembali.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui miskonsepsi siswa sekolah menengah atas dalam operasi hitung dasar yang diukur menurut number sense. Number Sense merupakan suatu bentuk kecerdasan di mana siswa peka terhadap hubungan antara angka yang siswa lihat dengan materi yang dipahami oleh siswa tersebut. Penelitian ini melibatkan 76 partisipan dari kelas X di SMAN 83 jakarta yang terdiri dari 60 siswa IPA dan 16 siswa IPS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner. Hasinl penelitian menunjukan bahwa rata-rata siswa (50% dari responden) memiliki miskonsepsi dalam penyelesaian masalah dalam bentuk cerita. Siswa tidak mampu mengaplikasikan operasi hitung dengan benar jika soal diubah dalam bentuk cerita (28%). Siswa tidak dapat merepresentasikan suatu nilai dalam bentuk lain (38%). Siswa juga mengalami kekeliruan dalam melakukan operasi perkalian dan pembagian (12%). Rata-rata siswa dapat mengurutkan bilangan dalam bentuk pecahan dan desimal (55%) dan siswa dapat menyelesaikan masalah yang diaplikasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari (57%). Kekeliruan yang dialami oleh siswa jika ditinjau dari jurusannya tidak berbeda jauh dalam menjawab benar (IPA 38%, IPS 36%) atau menjawab salah (IPA 62%, IPS 64%).

Abstract

This research is aim to find out the difficulties of concept and principle experienced by students in solving story problems of a system of linear equations two variables class x in SMK Muhammadiyah Kotabumi and the factors that cause students to experience these difficulties. The method used in this study is a descriptive method in the form of a case study. The subjects used in this study were several students of class x. The instrument used was a written test in the form of an essay. From the data analysis,it is known that the difficulties and the factors causing the difficulties experienced by student. Diifficulty assuming variable terms, difficulty converting story problems into mathematical sentences, difficulty performing operations with elimination and substitusion methods, difficulty operating addition and subtraction, difficulty converting variable replacement values into interrogative sentences. Abstract

This study is meant to describe: (a) Difficulty in learning mathematics in eleventh grade, (b) the reasons behind those difficulty faced by the students eleventh grade, (c) Teachers' efforts to overcome the difficulties of learning mathematics in eleventh grade, (d) Large The level of difficulty in learning mathematics experienced by eleventh graders. This type of research is a type of qualitative research. Difficulties experienced by students are difficulty understanding concepts, difficulties in skills, and difficulties in solving problems Data collection methods used were interview and test methods. Research shows that: (1) Difficulty understanding concepts, difficulties in skills, and difficulties in solving problems. (2) The causes of those difficulty in learning comes from social, emotional, and intellectual of students themselves. (3) Teacher's efforts to overcome learning difficulties by holding remedial. (4) The level of learning difficulties of students included in the category is very difficult. It is hoped that the teacher can overcome student learning difficulties. So that students' difficulties in learning mathematics are slightly overcome.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the difficulties of class X students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Kotabumi in studying Mathematics in the Linear Program material. The type and approach in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques in this study were tests, observations, questionnaires, while for data processing the percentage formula was P = f/n x 100%. From the results of the research, it can be concluded that the difficulties of students in class X SMK Muhammadiyah Kotabumi in Linear Program material are the lack of understanding of students in understanding the concept of Linear Programs, often using formulas incorrectly and still confused in making a mathematical model, as well as the teacher's habit of learning mathematics in a different way. , just take notes on the blackboard, then students lack the desire to complete the sample questions given by the teacher. So it can be concluded that the hypothesis is proven true that there are learning difficulties in mathematics lessons in the Linear Program material for class X SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Kotabumi.

Abstract

Constructivism learning theory is very relevant to be applied in Indonesia because it has advantages that can be used as an innovative learning method. However, the constructivism learning model is still rarely applied, especially in mathematics learning so that the learning objectives are not achieved properly. This research was conducted to obtain comprehensive information on how constructivism theory is used in online mathematics learning and the obstacles faced. This can be useful to find out good new adaptations in implementing online mathematics learning in the future. In addition, it can be useful as an evaluation material for the application of constructivism theory in online mathematics learning in the future. This research uses descriptive analysis method with literature study technique. The constructivism theory referred to in this study is a constructivist learning theory that has been explored in the application of online mathematics learning into four parts, namely: a learner-centered learning environment, a knowledge-centered learning environment, an assessment-centered learning environment, and an assessment-centered learning environment. community-centred learning.   Teori pembelajaran konstruktivisme sangat relevan untuk diterapkan di Indonesia karena memiliki kelebihan yang dapat dijadikan metode pembelajaran yang inovatif. Namun model pembelajaran konstruktivisme masih jarang diterapkan khususnya pada pembelajaran matematika sehingga tujuan pembelajaran tidak tercapai dengan baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh informasi yang komprehensif tentang bagaimana teori konstruktivisme digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika online dan kendala yang dihadapi. Hal ini dapat bermanfaat untuk mengetahui adaptasi baru yang baik dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika online di masa depan. Selain itu dapat bermanfaat sebagai bahan evaluasi penerapan teori konstruktivisme dalam pembelajaran matematika online di masa yang akan datang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis dengan teknik studi literatur. Teori konstruktivisme yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini merupakan teori pembelajaran konstruktivis yang dieksplorasi dalam penerapan pembelajaran matematika online menjadi empat bagian, yaitu: lingkungan belajar yang berpusat pada peserta didik, lingkungan belajar yang berpusat pada pengetahuan, lingkungan belajar yang berpusat pada penilaian. , dan lingkungan belajar yang berpusat pada penilaian. pembelajaran yang berpusat pada komunitas.

Abstract

The purpose of this qualitative research is to analyze students' proportional reasoning in solving word problems. The research instrument is a proportional reasoning task sheet for comparison material that has been validated. The subjects of this study were 20 students of grade VII junior high school. The data collection procedure begins with students working on research instruments to determine students' proportional reasoning abilities. After working on the proportional reasoning task sheet, interviews were conducted to find out the students' proportional reasoning, then 3 research subjects were selected to be interviewed with a level of proportional reasoning that fulfills the character namely: (1) building relationships between quantities, (2) writing down quantity ratios to present problems , (3) stimulate to make multiplicative relationships; and (4) looking for unknown values. Data analysis techniques in this study were carried out by transcribing the verbal data collected and reviewing all available data from various sources, namely student answers, think alouds, and interviews. The results of the study obtained 3 subjects from class VII SMP indicating that from the description and analysis of the subjects the researcher found was holistic proportional reasoning.   Tujuan penelitian kualitatif ini adalah untuk menganalisis penalaran proporsional siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa lembar tugas penalaran proporsional materi perbandingan yang telah divalidasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Prosedur pengumpulan data diawali dengan siswa mengerjakan instrumen penelitian untuk mengetahui kemampuan penalaran proporsional siswa. Setelah mengerjakan lembar tugas penalaran proporsional, wawancara dilakukan untuk mengetahui penalaran proporsional yang dimiliki siswa, kemudian dipilih 3 subjek penelitian untuk diwawancarai dengan tingkat penalaran proporsional yang memenuhi karakter yakni: (1) membangung hubungan antar kuantitas, (2) menuliskan kuantitas rasio untuk mempresentasikan masalah, (3) menstimulasikan untuk membuat hubungan multiplikatif; dan (4) mencari nilai yang tidak diketahui.Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mentranskripkan data verbal yang dikumpulkan dan meninjau semua data yang tersedia dari berbagai sumber yaitu jawaban siswa, think alouds, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian diperoleh 3 subjek dari kelas VII SMP menunjukkan bahwa dari deskripsi dan analisis subjek yang peneliti temukan adalah penalaran proporsional tipe holistik

Abstract

This study aims to produce teaching materials in the form of mathematics textbooks for class XI students at SMKN 48 Jakarta majoring in Business and Management. This mathematics textbook was made due to students' lack of understanding of mathematics material. This is reinforced by the results of an analysis of the needs of students at SMKN 48 Jakarta majoring in Business and Management, namely 86.11% of students stated difficulties in learning mathematics. Based on the analysis of students' needs, as many as 22.71% of students chose statistics as material that was considered difficult, so the material to be developed was statistics material. This research and development uses the Research and Development method which refers to the Borg & Gall model. The mathematics textbook developed has been validated by material and language experts with an average percentage value of 82.96% in the very good category, and media expert validation with an average percentage value of 91.78% in the very good category. Then trials were carried out on teachers and students. In the teacher evaluation results obtained an average percentage value of 91.87% in the very good category. In the results of the small-scale student trials, an average percentage value of 89.92% was obtained in the very good category and the large-scale student trials obtained an average percentage value of 83.64% in the very good category. So that the developed mathematics learning video is feasible to be used in the learning process at school with an overall average of 88.03%.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar berupa buku ajar matematika untuk siswa kelas XI di SMKN 48 Jakarta jurusan Bisnis dan Manajemen. Buku ajar matematika ini dibuat karena kurangnya pemahaman siswa terhadap materi matematika. Hal tersebut diperkuat oleh hasil analisis kebutuhan siswa di SMKN 48 Jakarta jurusan Bisnis dan Manajemen, yaitu 86,11% siswa menyatakan kesulitan dalam mempelajari matematika. Berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan siswa, sebanyak 22,71% siswa memilih statistika sebagai materi yang dianggap sulit, sehingga materi yang akan dikembangkan adalah materi statistika. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan metode Research and Development yang mengacu pada model Borg & Gall. Buku ajar matematika yang dikembangkan telah melalui validasi ahli materi dan bahasa dengan nilai persentase rata-rata sebesar 82,96% dengan kategori sangat baik, dan validasi ahli media dengan nilai persentase rata-rata sebesar 91,78% dengan kategori sangat baik. Kemudian dilakukan uji coba kepada guru dan siswa. Pada hasil evaluasi guru diperoleh nilai persentase rata-rata sebesar 91,87% dengan kategori sangat baik. Pada hasil uji coba siswa skala kecil diperoleh nilai persentase rata-rata sebesar 89,92% dengan kategori sangat baik dan uji coba siswa skala besar diperoleh nilai persentase rata-rata sebesar 83,64% dengan kategori sangat baik. Sehingga video pembelajaran matematika yang dikembangkan layak untuk dimanfaatkan dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah dengan rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 88,03%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe students' written mathematical communication abilities on quadrilateral material. This research is qualitative descriptive research where the data was collected using the results of written tests and interviews with research subjects consisting of three class VII students from groups of students with different mathematical abilities. Based on the results of the study, S-1 subjects had good written communication skills by fulfilling all written mathematical communication indicators. S-2 subjects can fulfill almost all indicators even though there are errors in the calculations. As well as S-3 subjects having less written mathematical communication skills, S-3 subjects can only meet the indicators of writing down mathematical ideas in writing, which means that S-3 subjects are less able to explain, present, interpret, and evaluate mathematical ideas in writing.   Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan komunikasi matematis tulis siswa pada materi bangun datar segiempat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskripsi kualitatif yang pengambilan datanya menggunakan hasil tes tulis dan wawancara dengan subyek penelitian yang terdiri dari tiga orang siswa kelas VII dari kelompok siswa dengan kemampuan matematika yang berbeda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, subyek S-1 memiliki kemampuan komunikasi tulis yang baik dengan memenuhi semua indikator komunikasi matematis tulis. Subyek S-2 dapat memenuhi hampir semua indikator meskipun terdapat kesalahan dalam perhitungan. Serta subyek S-3 memiliki kemampuan komunikasi matematis tulis yang kurang, subyek S-3 hanya dapat memenuhi indikator menuliskan ide-ide matematis secara tertulis, yang berarti subyek S-3 kurang mampu dalam menjelaskan, menyajikan, menginterpretasikan, dan mengevaluasi ide-ide matematis secara tertulis.
