Abstract

The need for water is increasing alongwith the increase in population and requiringdiverse needs of water resources in large quantities, such as industrial, irrigation, energy, and in allaspects of human life. It is obviously increase thepressure on the water supply for various needs andincrease the conflict potential between sectors, sothe water needs of each sector should be established,and the water distribution network should beconstructed broadly. As one of the water resources,the potential contained in the water can benefit orharm to human life, livelihoods and theenvironment. One of the harm caused by the waterpotential are flood and erosion (coastal erosion).Flood and erosion can bring a huge negative impactto the citizen such as damaged public facilities andinfrastructure, environmental damage andnarrowing of the land. West Borneo province is oneof among provinces in Indonesia which arevulnerable flooding during the rainy season.Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is feature ofthe information systems added or spatial data andanalysis that expected can help the user to performspatial analysis. The method used to calculate flooddischarge is hydrological analysis. The test resultsshow that the system can help the government inprocessing the water resources data and display itin a form of geographic information

Abstract

Communications and informationtechnology is rapidly grows and provides amajor influence on people's lives. The rapiddevelopment of information technology iscurrently supported by the importance of theneed for information. It can be seen from the development of today's internet network israpidly increasing. Informations thattransmitted is not meant for everyone. Alongwith the development of these technologies,security threats becomes more and morepowerful, particularly for the undisclosedinformation. Various threats in cyberspace suchas hacker, cracker, carder makes people worryabout the security of the information they sends.This concern that make the development ofinformation hiding techniques. One of the wellknown information hiding technique issteganography. In general, steganographymeans a technique and art of hiding a fact tocommunicate. By using steganography, secretmessage can be inserted into an unsuspiciousinformation and send it without being aware ofthe existence of the secret message. There areseveral criteria that must be considered insteganography is fidelity, robustness, andrecovery. Fidelity means that stegomediumquality has not changed much due to the insertion. The changes can not be perceived bythe senses.

Abstract

Computer Answer Sheet is a form for a special paper that will be processed by a computerand scanner. The fact is that the existing scannerComputer Answer Sheet is not flexible, it isintended that its use is only for one type of academic tests,such as examples of the type Ascanner,can only be used for Answer Sheet type A.Computer Answer Sheet Image ScannerApplication Usage with Smart Scan technique based on the basis of the resulting image on thescanner scanning.This application can be used on all types of machines and all kinds of scanner witha particular configuration. Smart Scan technologyutilization in applications designed to use someprocess that can produce the output of thecorrection. The process consists of scanning,image processing with image preprocessing andrecognition area with scanline method. Thescanning process is done by physicaltransformation Answer Sheet into the form of adigital image. This image will be used as input tothe application and will be processed using imagepreprocessing. Preprocessing results in the formof a binary image will be used further in theprocess of introducing area with scanline method.Scanline method is basically a way of introductionpoints/dots to process the object’s entire surfaceby scanning the image horizontally and verticallyto produce the output of characters that can be stored in the database. Based on the resultingdatabase matching answers with the answer keycan be done to produce the output of the value ofthe correction. This study indicate that the designof computer answer sheet image scannerapplication with smart scanning techniques can becorrected the Answer Sheet with 94.5% successrate and the application is considered successful.

Abstract

Strategic planning of urban areas such asdevelopment planning is an important thing to beconsidered by the government and relevantstakeholders in carrying out the construction ofthe city of Pontianak. Management activities andgeographical mapping that includes profiles, information and description of the total area ofgreen and open space, residential areas and nonresidentialareas is necessary for the analysisneeds that produces output in the form ofrecommendations for consideration ofdevelopment plan policy makers in evaluating andintervening development program, which was heldin Pontianak city. Spatial Knowledge Managementresearch area of green and open space in the cityof Pontianak using small area estimationapproach in analyzing and generating outputinformation in the scope of the sub-sample of thesmallest areas. Results of analysis can identifyingthe possibility of development system thatorganized in the form of manipulation of maps in the current system and provide an alternativerecommendation at the level of input, process andoutput. Spatial Knowledge Management area ofGreen and Open Space-Based on GeographicInformation System is designed to facilitate theimplementation of development in the form ofmanipulation of maps inside the system and toanalyze the data into processing information. Inaddition the system is designed to be amanagement tool in decision making for theimplementation of development activities in thecity of Pontianak. The output of the system are theconsolidated graphs, maps and neighborhood areaplanning recommendations generated when theuser is manipulating the map with the knowledgebased which has been designed on the system. TheKnowledge Based which is designed has aprobability to rearrange by the user in accordancewith the government regulations that areapplicable when the system is used. The result ofthis study is strategic planning recommendationsin the form of urban development plan, which is expected to help the government as policy makersin determining the type of area that can be builton an area in the city of Pontianak.

Abstract

Information systems existing vacancies still using a search based on attributes of eachrequest and there is no profile of a dataprocessing job providers and job seekers. Thiswill make it difficult for providers to screenprospective job applicants who have applied.This study aims to produce an informationsystem web based job which will bring togetherjob seekers and job providers and implementSAW method which can give job seekers the bestrecommendation according to criteria specifiedby the job provider. Web-based application builtusing PHP programming language and MySQLdatabase. The method used is Simple AdditiveWeighting Method (SAW). The criteria used isthe CPI score, height, marital status, age, highschools score, education level, accrediteduniversity, department accreditation,accreditation courses, eye conditions,experience, fitness courses and foreign languageskills (grades TOEFL). The results show that themethod Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) isable to produce job seekers the bestrecommendation based on the criteria required
