Abstract

Sports facilities that are not well managed could hamper the efforts to increase sports achievement and broaden sports culture. It needs an in-depth overview of what causes the sports facilities are not properly managed, as a basis for future management policy considerations. Applying case studies at sports venues in five provinces, including Riau, South Sumatra, West Java, East Kalimantan, and DKI Jakarta, this research aims to delve deeper into the problem of managing sports facilities. The framework concept of Schwarz et al. is used as a theoretical foundation, which is then supplemented by a practical framework based on the concepts of the sports facility growth in Australia, as well as a framework for sport facility development in New Zealand. The researcher uses a qualitative approach because it seeks the answer of how to manage sport facilities. The data are secondary data from monitoring and assessing the outcomes in the field, as well as other related documents. The researcher hopes to figure out the real problem by juxtaposing multiple problems from each province. Thus, it can be found that there are no further considerations regarding the development of sports facilities, there is no connection with the sports culture of the community with the availability of facilities, and there is no link between the availability of facilities with the provincial sports achievements where the center of facilities is located. For the conclusion, it was discovered that the issue of poorly maintained facilities and inadequate utilization, is due to insufficient planning for the development of facilities by paying attention to the sports culture of the local community, the potential for sports event movements, and integration with other fields such as accessibility, tourism, and other community services.

Abstract

The Government of Indonesia has implemented social protection programs (SPPs) to reduce the impact of the economic crisis and continued to implement the programs in the recent pandemic situation. To increase the effectiveness of the program implementation, the state involves local governments and communities both in the targeting process and program delivery. The central government involves a village meeting called musyawarah desa (musdes) to update beneficiary’ data of social protection programs and Basis Data Terpadu (BDT-Unified Database). However, issues of mistargeting in the form of inclusion and exclusion error persist. Using the deliberative democracy framework and ethnographic case study approach, this study seeks to understand why mistargeting continues to occur by assessing the process of the musdes. This study found the problems of a centralized design of targeting in the existing social, power and accountability relations in the village, and suggest the need to consider giving more authority and responsibility to local governments and villages in the targeting process and delivery of the SPPs.

Abstract

The use of gadgets is very massive in every age range in every region. It is not known with certainty what habits have been forgotten, what cultures have changed, and at what ages experienced these changes. This descriptive analysis study aims to examine the use of gadgets and their relationship to changes in the sociocultural of respondents who are grouped by age. Sociocultural change is based on Weberian Theory. The method used a survey with questionnaire instrument arranged in google form which is distributed through the WhatsApp application for 2×24 hours and received 197 respondents. The data is processed by IBB SPSS Statistics Data Editor. Data processing includes the frequency, distribution, and trend of the data, as well as for several variables, the correlation is calculated at the 95% confidence level. The results show that the use of gadgets changes people's habits, both young and old. Several old habits are forgotten with the emergence of several new habits. Old habits that are forgotten and new habits that emergence are not significantly related to age but have a significant relationship with how to function gadgets as work tools and business tools with correlation coefficients about 0.77 and 0.42. Objects of cultural development such as oral traditions, manuscripts, and traditional games are relatively unfamiliar, especially in the age range of 20–40 years. Thus, the changes in the respondent's sociocultural are related to the use of gadgets.

Abstract

Innovations made by the government in dealing with the 2018 West Nusa Tenggara earthquake disaster (NTB) face several challenges. Construction of the house is targeted to be completed within a year, but the two-year run is still not completed. There are double data, not absorbed funds, until the number of houses built has not been in accordance with target becomes a serious problem. In fact, the stakeholders involved are very much. At the beginning of the quarter of 2021 reported the construction of earthquake resistant houses (RTG) in all NTB areas above 97%. Therefore, it is interesting to be further reviewed how the success of disaster management breakthroughs in NTB can achieve the targets and roles of various stakeholders. This study was conducted based on the study of documents from central and local government documents as well as literature reviews from journal articles during April 2021. The results of the study showed that the intensive collaboration and synergy from various stakeholders, played a big role in addressing the problems. Data validation conducted by BRI plays a big role in overcoming double data. RTG design from the Kementerian PUPR makes it easy for people to plan and rebuild their homes. TNI is present to assist technically in accelerating development. Facilitators assist the community in planning, applying for funds, implementation, and reporting. These efforts make the problems faced when the implementation of innovations in disaster management are resolved. These efforts, making breakthroughs in disaster management can be carried out. Each stakeholder has an equally important role in synergizing and collaborating with all stakeholders to support the achievement of disaster management objectives.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze changes in social protection policies in Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic crisis. The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on the economic crisis, which has occurred in both developed and developing countries. The policy of limiting human mobility is something that needs to be done to reduce greater losses. This makes the use of technology increasingly intense to maintain the role of the welfare state and a better social protection system in Indonesia. This study aims to understand the changes in the social protection system implemented in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is exploratory qualitative approach. This study yielded three important findings. First, Indonesia has had various social protection programs built since the 1998 crisis and continued to be developed until the Covid-19 pandemic. Second, Indonesia has carried out the role of the welfare state by implementing and controlling a combination of social protection strategies that include a combination of expanding social assistance, developing social assistance programs, adding social assistance programs, and restructuring social assistance programs in response to the Covid-19 crisis. Third, the specific characteristics of the Covid-19 pandemic have changed Indonesia's social protection system to become more numerous and varied, widening the budget deficit to accommodate an increase in the social assistance budget and national economic recovery, as well as the use of technology for updating databases and distributing social protection more accurately.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce an Indonesian version of the emotional learning online classroom environment survey instrument with a response category scale. Instruments from a modified Learning Environment Research Questionnaire on Classroom Emotional Climate. This research is a survey on 1494 responses of 7th grade and 8th grade junior high school students in four regions of DKI Jakarta Province. The sample was selected by simple random sampling and based on the considerations of schools implementing the 2013 curriculum. The modified instrument consisted of 43 items to be tested in obtaining validity based on the estimated difficulty of the items and the psychometric criteria with Rasch modeling. The results of this study indicate that the Andrich threshold test fulfills the monotonic nature and unconsciously the students' responses form an emotional culture that prioritizes self-awareness in online learning. Therefore, for the psychological scale compilers are expected to compile statement items that are easy to understand and build good interactions with respondent, so that the respondent feels not intervened. This trend may even increase when sensitive issues of concern statement appear in the instrument items. Characteristics of psychologically motivated instruments, written in the statement items intervene on sensitive issues in the learning environment.

The digital economy offers solutions with new job specifications and eliminates 50 million job opportunities in the near future. This study uses a qualitative approach and uses the literature method. The results of the study indicate that the PNF Study Program has the opportunity to become a forum for thinking by conducting research to identify the needs of the community and the growing trend of the digital economy. The research findings show that the PNF Study Program can be a think tank to produce useful research for ministries and institutions.
