Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive PowerPoint media to increase cultural literacy and citizenship in schools. This research is an RD research referring to the Borg Gall model covering 7 of 10 stages, namely information gathering, planning, preliminary product development, initial field trials, initial product revisions, main field trials, and main product revisions. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, product assessment, and tests. The study results showed that PowerPoint interactive learning media is valid to use and can increase cultural literacy and citizenship in thematic learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

The analysis Confidence and Independence of Teachers ofMathematics Teaching in Primary Schools (Case Study of ElementarySchool Fourth Grade Teacher Negri in Kab. Bandung). The purpose of thisstudy is to describe how teachers' beliefs about the mastery of the materialmathematics in elementary school and how the independence of the teachers about the readiness of teaching mathematics in elementary school. The method used is a qualitative research with descriptive research design. The population in the study were all fourth grade teacher at state elementary school in the district Bandung. The sampling technique using random cluster sampling, the sampling is done by selecting a sample based on clusters (groups) rather than on the individual. Subjects experienced two types of mathematical thinking processes beliefs that is thinking instrumental beliefs and thinking process relational Instrumental. Instrumental relational thinking process consists of four parts, namely, (1) strong relational strong instrumental, (2) strong relational instrumental weak, (3) weak relational strong instrumental (4) weak relational weak instrumental. Analisis Keyakinan dan Kemandirian Guru tentang Pembelajaran Matematika di Sekolah Dasar (Studi Kasus Terhadap Guru Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negri di Kab. Bandung). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui bagaimana keyakinan guru tentang penguasaan materipembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar dan bagaimana kemandirian guru tentang kesiapan mengajar matematika di sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan desain penelitian deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh guru kelas IV di salah satu SD Negeri di Kab. Badung, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling, yaitu pengambilan sampel yang dilakukan dengan memilih sampel yang didasarkan pada cluster (kelompok) bukan pada individunya. Subjek mengalami dua jenis proses berfikir keyakinan matematika yaitu berfikir instrumental dan proses berfikir Relasional Instrumental. Proses berfikir relasional instrumental terdiri dari empat bagian yaitu, (1) relasional kuat instrumental kuat, (2) relasional kuat instrumental lemah, (3) relasional lemah instrumental kuat, (4) relasional lemah instrumental lemah.

Abstract

Supervisi merupakan salah satu kompetensi yang harus dimiliki oleh kepala sekolah dalam menjamin kualitas proses pendidikan dan pembelajaran di sekolah. Kenyataan di lapangan menunjukan kompetensi guru dalam melaksanakan standar proses belum sepenuhnya memuaskan. Supervisi akademik yang dilaksanakan dengan objektif dan transparan dapat dijadikan solusi terhadap permasalahan tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakn standar proses meningkat signifikan antara siklus 1 dan siklus 2. Di samping itu, guru juga memperlihatkan respon positif terhadap kegiatan supervise akademik. Supervise is one of several competencies that should be mastered by principals to guarantee the quality of educational and teaching learning process. In fact, in the real situation, teachres’ competencies in doing the standard of process, have not been satisfying enough. Academical supervision that is carried out objectively and trasparantly can be a solution to the problem. The research result showed that teachers’ competencies in doing the standard of process increased significantly between cycle 1 and cycle 2. Besides, teachers showed positive response to the academical supervision.

Abstract

Early reading interest in elementary school students is very important to support the achievement of learning. Failure to read means failure to learn various other sciences, so reading skills are the key so that elementary school children are able to learn and develop. A learning media can support a learning process. For this reason, this study wants to examine how the role of media in digital text reading skills in elementary school children. The method used is a systematic literature review. From 172 published articles from various journals, after conducting a screening process using a systematic literature review methodology, 60 articles were selected as the final review. The results of a review of 60 sources found that most of the studies reviewed focused on the role of media in digital text reading skills in elementary schools, followed by general. The results of the role of media on digital text reading skills in elementary schools succeeded in increasing students' interest in learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are to describe: (1) Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) in improving Mathematics learning to the students in Department of Primary Schools Teacher Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sebelas Maret University (PGSD FKIP UNS) campus of Kebumen, (2) reconstruction the curriculum of Mathematics Education  subject in the Department of PGSD FKIP UNS campus of Kebumen based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME), and (3) the construction of teaching material books of Mathematics Education subject in the Department of PGSD FKIP UNS campus of Kebumen based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME). The research method is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with cyclical model, involving four steps simultaneously as follows: (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. Subject of this research was all students at the fourth semester in Department of PGSD FKIP UNS Campus of Kebumen in the academic year 2014/2015, totaling 71 students. Techniques of collecting data used by the researcher were observation, interview, and test. Validity of data used in this research was the techniques of triangulation of source, method, and theory. Techniques of analyzing data was descriptive- qualitative data analysis, including data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion or verification. The results of this research are: (1) the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) model can improve Mathematics learning to the students in the Department of PGSD FKIP UNS campus of Kebumen, (2) reconstruction the curriculum of Mathematics Education subject in the Department of PGSD FKIP UNS campus of Kebumen, and (3) the teaching material books of Mathematics Education subject in the Department of PGSD FKIP UNS campus of Kebumen based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME).

Abstract

The influence of Implementation of Methods of Problem BasedLearning to Improve Understanding Basic Concepts of Social Sains andCritical Thinking Skills Students. The aim of this study is to find out theinfluence of problem based learning (PBL) method in enhancing student’scomprehension of Social Science basic concept and student’s critical thinking ability. This study used quantitative approach with experimental quasi method. The design of study using Nonequivalent Control Groups Design (NCGD). Based on the study result, conclusions are obtained that there is difference in understanding of Social Science basic concept and critical thinking ability between students who taught by using PBL method inexperiment class with students who taught by conventional learning in control class. Thus, students in experiment class understand more about Social Science basic concept from each social science. In addition, the children thought more critical by PBL method, because with PBL requires students more confidence to the results of the facts of the concrete learning of public opinion.Pengaruh Penerapan Metode Problem Based Learning dalamMeningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Dasar IPS dan Kemampuan BerpikirKritis Siswa. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian adalah untuk mengetahuipengaruh metode problem based learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkanpemahaman konsep dasar IPS dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen. Desain penelitian menggunakan Nonequivalent Control Groups Design (NCGD). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep dasar IPS dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa antara siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran menggunakan metode PBL pada kelas eksperimen dengan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional pada kelas kontrol. Sehingga siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih memahami tentang konsep dasar IPS dari masing-masing ilmu sosial. Selain itu, anakanak berpikir lebih kritis dengan metode PBL, karena dengan PBL menuntut siswa lebih percaya kepada hasil fakta-fakta pembelajaran yang konkret dari pada opini public.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of the application of Value Clarification Technique (VCT) to ecoliteracy and critical thinking skills of elementary school students in learning social study. The method used in this study was a quasi experimental design with non- equivalent control group design, using the two study groups. Subjects in this study were students of class IV Komplek SDN Cijerah Indah, Kecamatan Bandung Kulon Kota Bandung. The experimental group was given the treatment of learning Value Clarification Technique (VCT) and the control group was given conventional learning. The results showed that in general there is a difference between learners ecoliteracy experimental class and control class and critical thinking skills among learners experimental class and control class after each class has been getting treatment that has been set.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of authoritarian, democratic, and permissive parenting on the responsible attitude of fifth graders in online learning at SDN Bengkulu City. This type of quantitative research with comparative causal research method. The population of this study were all fifth grade students at SDN Bengkulu City, totaling 114 students. The sample in this study were 29 students from 114 populations. The data collection technique used a parenting style questionnaire consisting of 35 items and a student responsibility attitude questionnaire consisting of 27 items. The data analysis technique in this study used simple linear regression. The conclusion in this study is that there is an influence of parenting style on students' responsible attitudes and there is also an influence of parenting style on aspects of authoritarian and democratic parenting on students' responsible attitudes, while permissive parenting has no effect on responsible attitudes.

Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Siklus yangmelibatkan 4 langkah dalam setiap siklusnya, yaitu (1) perencanaan, (2)pelaksanaan, (3) observasi, dan (4) refleksi. Penelitian ini melibatkan subjek penelitian sebanyak 71 mahasiswa Semester IV Prodi PGSD FKIP UNS Kampus Kebumen Tahun Akademik 2014/2015. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah: (a) observasi, (b) wawancara, dan (c) tes. Validitas data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah dengan teknik Triangulasi sumber, metode, dan teori. Adapun Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang terdiri dari tiga alur secara berkelanjutan yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Abstract

Salah satu tugas perkembangan anak adalah mengembangkan gerak dasar anak sesuai dengan usianya. Tujuan pendidikan jasmani yaitu mengembangkan kemampuan koordinasi gerak, menanamkan nilai-nilai sportivitas, disiplin, dan meningkatkan kesegaran jasmani. Untuk mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan pada pembelajaran keterampilan gerak diperlukan model pembelajaran yang menyenangkan sesuai dengan karakteristik anak. Salah satu model tersebut yaitu model pembelajaran kontekstual. Pembelajaran kontekstual adalah suatu pendekatan pembelajaran yang menekankan kepada proses keterlibatan siswa secara penuh untuk dapat menemukan materi yang dipelajari dan menghubungkanya dengan situasi kehidupan nyata sehingga mendorong siswa untuk dapat menerapkannya dalam kehidupan yang nyata. Penelitian ini mengunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian kuasi eksperimen pada siswa SD Padasuka 1 dan 2. Berdasarkan pedoman interpretasi Guildford, koefisien korelasi tersebut termasuk pada kategori hubungan yang sedang. Adapun t hitung (5,70) t tabel (2,013). Jadi, pendidikan olah raga dengan model kontekstual memiliki hubungan erat terhadap peningkatan kemampuan gerak dasar. One of the tasks of child development is to develop children's basic movements according to their age. The purpose of physical education is to develop the ability to coordinate movement, instill the values of sportsmanship, discipline, and improve physical fitness. To achieve the expected goals in the learning of motion skills a fun learning model is needed in accordance with the characteristics of the child. One such model is the contextual learning model. Contextual learning is a learning approach that emphasizes the process of full student involvement to be able to find the material being studied and relate it to real life situations so as to encourage students to be able to apply it in real life. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research method in Padasuka 1 and 2 elementary students. Based on the Guildford interpretation guidelines, the correlation coefficient is included in the moderate relationship category. The t count (5.70) t table (2.013). So, sports education with a contextual model has a close relationship with increasing basic mobility
