Jurnal Biopedadogia, Jurnal Pendidikan Biologi merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Borneo Tarakan. Biopedagogia merupakan media publikasi ilmiah seperti gagasan, Kajian, dan hasil penelitian yang berkualitas terkait Pembelajaran Biologi yang mempunyai tujuan pendidikan nasional dalam bidang biologi. Ide awalnya diterbitkan jurnal Biopedagogia mempermudah mahasiswa mempublikasikan hasil karyanya, dikarenakan keterbatasan dan kesulitan mahasiswa pendidikan biologi dalam mempublikasi hasil karya baik skripsi, hasil PKM, PPL dan karya tulis lainnya. Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan pendekatan  mixed method. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pupuk ebi terhadap pertumbuhan sawi hijau, sementara pendekat kualitatif untuk menjabarkan potensi hasil penelitian sebagai sumber belajar biologi. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan anakova 1 jalur dengan kovarian nilai tinggi tanaman sawi sebelum perlakuan. Berdasarkan uji korelasi Peason didapatkan nilai signifikansi 0,035 0,05 yang berarti terdapat korelasi antara tinggi sebelum perlakuan dan setelah perlakuan, berdasarkan hal ini maka tinggi sebelum dapat dijadikan sebagai kovarian. Berdasarkan uji anakova didapatkan nilai signifikasi 0,000 0,05 pada perlakuan, yang berarti rata-rata tiap perlakuan berbeda, perlakuan dengan penggunaan ebi 5gr memiliki rata-rata tertinggi untuk tinggi tanaman sawi. Potensi hasil penelitian dalam pembelajaran Biologi dapat dijadikan data tambahan dalam materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan pada kelas XII SMA dengan kompetensi dasar pada ranah pengetahuan “Menjelaskan pengaruh faktor internal dan faktor eksternal terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan makhluk hidup” dan ranah keterampilan “Menyusun laporan hasil percobaan tentang pengaruh faktor eksternal terhadap proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tanaman”

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analys the quality of monopoly based on Game Hago. The Hago Game-based monopoly on virus material for class X SMA is very feasible as a learning medium with the percentage of material experts being 84% (very feasible), media experts being 96% (very feasible). Game-based monopoly Hago gets a response from expert practitioners who are teachers of Biology subjects at the Hang Tuah Tarakan High School of 94% (very feasible) and student responses using Hago Game-based Monopoly learning media are 92% (very good). Keywords:  Monopoly based on Hago Game, Quality

Abstract

Abstract: Learning science for elementary school students is a difficult thing. Especially when the concept of learning is abstract. One example is material related to the digestive system. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a learning model that can show parts of the digestive system. The purpose of this study was to develop a model of the digestive system in elementary schools. This research uses research and development research. The results showed that the overall data from material expert validation, media expert validation, limited trial, main field trial, and operational field trial could conclude the feasibility of learning media for the human digestive system in class V SDN Utama 2 Tarakan is very feasible. Keywords: digestive system, media

Abstract

Abstract: Lesson Study is an effort to improve the learning process and outcomes which is carried out collaboratively and continuously by a group of teachers. One aspect of improving the learning process using the Lesson Study-based CAR approach is the aspect of interest in learning. With the increasing interest in learning possessed by students, it will also have an effect on improving cognitive learning outcomes, especially in this research in class IX D on Electricity and Electrical Technology in the Environment at SMP Negeri 2 Tarakan. The approach used in this research is to follow the research flow Plan, Do, See. Conducted in 3 stages for 4 cycles. The plot, which begins with the planning stage (plan), at this stage, activities to analyze the needs and problems faced in learning are carried out. Furthermore, the implementation stage (do) is carried out, in the second stage, there are two main activities: 1) learning activities carried out by one of the model teachers, and 2) observation or observation activities carried out by other members or the Lesson Study community. And in the last stage, the reflection (see) is carried out after the teacher has learned in the classroom. Based on the research results obtained posttest. In the cognitive learning outcomes the average value in cycle I was 71.68, cycle II 76.06, cycle III 90.14, and cycle IV was 91.09. Furthermore, for the results of interest in learning, the average value in cycle I was 61.61, cycle II 61.94, cycle III 60.05, and cycle IV was 61.75. From the results of these studies, it can be concluded that the implementation of lesson study can increase interest and cognitive learning outcomes of class IX D students of SMP Negeri 2 Tarakan on electricity and electrical technology. Keywords:  lesson study, interest, cognitive

Abstract

This study aims to develop and determine insectarium media's appropriateness as learning media for Class X Senior High School. This study is development research using the ADDIE development model. ADDIE stands for (Analysis-Design-Implement-valuate). The instruments used in this study were the validation sheet and the student response questionnaire sheet. Previously, the product has been validated by material experts, media experts, and biology teachers. Based on the assessment of material experts, media experts, and biology teachers, the product quality is declared excellent and suitable for use as a learning medium. Material experts rated products with a percentage of 80% (feasible category), media experts rated products with a percentage of 80% (feasible category), biology teachers rated products with a very feasible category (94.5%). Meanwhile, the student response obtained an assessment with 82.87% and was categorized as feasible. Therefore, it can be concluded that the insectarium media is suitable for use as a learning medium for class X students.Keywords: Insectarium, Learning Media, Class X Senior High School

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahuai jenis-jenis Suku Poaceae di Hutan Penelitian Universitas Borneo Tarakan dan untuk mengembangkan hasil penelitan menjadi buku panduan identifikasi. Penelitian menggunakan model pengembangan Borg and Gall yang diadaptasi sampai pada tahap ke tiga. Hasil penelitian Suku Poaceae telah ditemukan sebanyak 12 Marga yang terdiri dari 15 jenis.  Jenis terbanyak pada marga Erangrotis sebanyak 3 jenis, dan Panicum sebanyak 2 jenis. Sementara, untuk marga yang lainnya hanya ditemukan 1 jenis saja. Hasil penelitian kemudian dikembangkan menjadi buku panduan identifikasi. Hasil validasi ahli materi dan ahli media mendapatkan persentase masing-masing sebesar 86,3% dan 92,9% dengan kriteria valid. Kata Kunci:  Poaceae, Panduan Identifikasi

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect by application Student Teams-Achievement Divisions (STAD) type cooperative learning models assisted by Mind Mapping media on the critical thinking skills of Grade IV SD Citra Tarakan students. This research is a quantitative type of quasi-experimental research. This research was conducted in January-February 2020. With a population of fourth grade students at Citra Bangsa Tarakan Elementary School and the sample consisted of one class, namely class IV A which was given treatment. The technique in taking the sample used is Purposive Sampling. The research data were processed with  SPSS V.21 for Windows Software. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence on the application of Student Teams-Achievement Divisions (STAD) type cooperative learning models assisted by Mind Mapping media on students' critical thinking abilities. This study shows that the correlation results obtained that the effect of the learning model is very strong with the results of the correlation coefficient of 0.888 and the coefficient of determination of 0.789 or 78.9% and the submission of the hypothesis obtained tcount of 8.638 at a significant level α = 0.05 with df = 20 obtained table of 2,085 means tcount ttable. Keywords: Cooperative learning model type Student Teams-Achievement Divisions (STAD), Critical Thinking Ability,Media Mind Mapping

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the research was to analyze the feasibility of congklak learning media on materials of additives of addictive substances for the eighth-graders at SMP Islam Terpadu (IT) Ibnu Abbas Tarakan based on material expert, media expert, and practitioners. The research design was Research and the Development (RD), which refers to the 4-D (four D) model developed by Thiagarajan et al. 1974. This model includes the stages of defining, designing, developing and disseminating. However, in this research, the researcher developed the learning media to the third stage D, the development stage. It was caused by the limitation of time and budget. The material expert validation analysis result was 80% in a feasible category. The media expert validation analysis result was 82% in a very feasible category. In addition, The result of the practitioners was 86% in a very feasible category. Based on the analysis results, it was concluded that the developed media had met the media eligibility standards. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis limbah kulit pisang terhadap berat cacing tanah. Cacing tanah merupakan hewan yang cukup potensial sebagai hewan budidaya, dan cacing tanah ini sangat cepat untuk berkembang biak. Cacing yang digunakan sebanyak 90 ekor cacing, tiap wadah diisi dengan 3 ekor cacing, dengan menggunakan 5 perlakukan dan 5 kali pengulangan. Dosis limbah kulit pisang yang digunakan berbeda-beda yaitu 60gr, 70gr ,80gr ,90gr, dan 100gr, dalam penelitian ini hal yang paling utama diukur adalah berat awal cacing dan berat akhir cacing. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan. Hasil penelitian dikembangkan menjadi panduan praktikum. Model pengembangan menggunakan model 4-D dan hanya sampai tahap pengembangan  pada validasi ahli. Terkait pengaruh pemberian limbah kulit pisang didapatkan hasil pada uji anava 1 jalan nilai signifikansi 0,000 0,05 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan rata-rata pada tiap perlakuan dosis limbah kulit pisang. Pada uji lanjut menggunakan Duncan didapatkan hasil semua perlakuan memiliki perbedaan secara nyata, dimana perlakuan 100 gr mendapat rata-rata nilai tertinggi. Hasil pengembangan panduan praktikum berdasarkan validasi dari ahli materi mendapatkan nilai sebesar 87,6 dengan kriteria valid. Hasil penilaian dari ahli media mendapakan nilai persentase sebesar 91,7% dengan kriteria valid.Keywords:  Kulit Pisang, Cacing Tanah, Panduan Praktikum

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the types of medicinal plants in the forest area of the Borneo Tarakan University and produce a product in the form booklet that are suitable for use. The type of this research was Research and Development (R D) which uses the development model of Borg and Gall (1983) and is only carried out up to the fifth stage. The results showed that 15 species were found, Kayu putih (Melaleuca leucadendron L.), Paku picisan (Drymoglossum pilloselloides L.), Karamunting (Melastoma malabathricum L.), Resam (Dicronopteris linearis L.), Pandan (Pandanus Sp.), Paku kawat (Lycopodium cernuum L. ), Congkok (Molineria capitulate L.), Jintan (Plectranthus amboinicus L.), Kantong semar (Nepenthes ampullaria), Anggrek tanah (Bromheadia finlaysoniana L.), Hiring-Hiring (Scleria sumatrensis Retz.), Lengkuas (Alpinia galangal L.), Paku tanduk (Platycerium bifurcatum), Paku sarang burung (Asplenium nidus L.), Paku kasak (Blechnum orientale L.). The result of research development in the form booklet were resulted scores validation from that are 86.6% (very feasible), material experts at 80% (feasible), practitioners at 100% (very feasible) and the percentage of student response tests at 94.5% (very interesting. The concluded of this research is the medicinal booklet with medicinal properties in the Borneo Forest Tarakan Research Forest Area is feasible to be used as teaching material for grade X SMK students.Keywords:  Medicinal Plants, Booklet
