Abstract

Currently, the governance process at the UTS Faculty of Engineering is still using a semi-digital system. Based on this, the researchers built a digital governance process management information system in the form of monitoring lecturer evaluations, judicial registration, general administration related to correspondence, and accreditation forms. The research method used is a qualitative method and a System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a Rapid Application Development (RAD) model as a software development method. Programming Language in making this management information system with PHP programming language which is implemented in CodeIgniter framework and MySQL database. At the end of making this information system tested using the black-box method. With this Management Information System (SIM) it can help and facilitate the management of the Faculty of Engineering in carrying out general and academic administration governance for the better. In addition, it can assist lecturers and students in completing the general administrative process related to the preparation of reports and the burden of lecturer performance as well as judicial registration for students who have completed their final assignments effectively.

Abstract

Abstract−This study aims to make it easier for prospective clients to be able to find out service information and requirements at the notary's office, making it easier for prospective clients to make a service without having to come to the notary's office. The software development method used is waterfall and uses a structured development method and is built using the PHP programming language, and database processing using MySQL, using the blackbox testing method, namely testing carried out by testing the software in terms of functionality. The results of the research are Notary Services Information System Using PHP and MySQL at Notary Office Kusliana S.H., M.Kn. This is expected to provide information and convenience for prospective clients to find out service information and requirements and can apply for services without coming to the notary's office.

Abstract

Abstract−This study intends to predict the harvest period in farming at the Regional Technical Implementation Unit of Gabe Hutaraja Various Crops. The method used in this study is the Naive Bayes Classifier. The data used in this study are time series data from 2015 to 2017. The results of this study are predictions of rice, peanut, and corn crops in the future. Naive Bayes Classifier is a simple probabilistic classification process based on the application of Bayes' Theorem (Bayes rule) with the assumption of strong independence, in other words, in Naive Bayes, the model used is an independent feature model. Implementation using RapidMinner5.3 is used to help find an accurate value. The benefits of writing this research are that it can predict rice, peanut, and corn crops so that it is needed in farming as a field of planning and improving the quality of crop yields that aim to reduce farmers' losses.

Abstract

Abstract−The museum catalog makes it very easy for people to see a list of some of the information presented, the catalog can be said as an information medium that contains a list of collections in a museum so that people can find out the catalog they are looking for. String matching uses the Zhutakaoka Algorithm to match the pattern to be searched from the meaning of the catalog, so that the match in the pattern selection can be seen. It is hoped that the Zhutakaoka Algorithm can complete the matching in the search for the museum catalog, so that it can help the public in searching for the museum catalog.

Abstract

Abstract− In the era of regional autonomy, the village is a very important part in determining the success of development and in direct contact with the community, especially in public services. Server is a medium that has an important role to provide internet access services for its users. So that the network can be used optimally, it is necessary to have a server. This study aims to design a server in the Tomuan Holbung Village Office, Asahan Regency by building an efficient, flexible server infrastructure and optimizing resource use, so that it can be adjusted to the workload so that hardware resources are optimal. This research was conducted to be a solution for the use of hardware resources provided by the Server machine that has not been used optimally, so efficient steps are needed to overcome this problem. The results of the research obtained are in the form of server design and optimizing the use of resources and managing servers efficiently in terms of time and cost.

Abstract

Abstract− This study aims to produce a graphic design learning media that is given to class XII students. The media is very effective in providing educational information to students, especially tutorial media. Because tutorial media is a visual interactive media tool to teach students to understand graphic design faster. In addition, at the high school / vocational school level, graphic design lessons have been given, but only use Corel Draw software, even though graphic design itself does not only use Corel Draw software. There are several examples of software used in graphic design, namely Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator. The results of this study obtained a new learning method that is ready to be used to teach graphic design material so that it can increase student motivation in the process of teaching and learning activities

Abstract

The increase in population has also resulted in changes in the pattern of people's consumption of water sources, but today there are still many people who are still not aware of maintaining their water sources including rivers, in Kuningan, especially in the Kuningan village area, there are rivers that used to be clean slowly become dirty due to garbage and waste, the purpose of this research is so that the community, especially children, know more about the importance of protecting the environment, especially the rivers around it. The results of this study made a short animated film entitled Tirta & Yahsa "the river is not a trash can" which contains the importance of conserving or preserving rivers, as a media for campaigns and education for the community, especially children to raise awareness about the importance of conserving or preserving rivers. After it was published offline to elementary school children and online on the YouTube channel, it got a very positive response from children and the public in general liked the animation, even from the 26 children who were tested watching it offline 100% all of them liked this animation. and 77% or 20 children were directly affected by starting from small things around them such as cleaning their respective desks and not littering, while 23% or 6 children did not get a direct impact because their desks still looked unclean

Abstract

Current technological advances, cellular phones or cellphones have been very developed so that they can be used in various fields, one of which is in the field of education which can be used as a source and educative learning media. In today's digital era, Indonesia also has several challenges in the field of education, one of which is that the majority of Indonesian students, especially those in elementary school, carry heavy books, which can interfere with their growth and health. The purpose of this research is to design and create a mobile phone application as a source and learning media that can be utilized by teachers, students or SMEs in the current digital era. This research uses R&D method using Rowntree development model. This ILTEC application provides several application modes, including student mode, teacher mode, student mode, and lecturer mode. Each mode has its own features that distinguish it from one mode to another. In student and student mode there are module features and learning media, while in teacher and lecturer mode there are RPP/RPS features, modules, and learning tools. Each of these features cannot be accessed freely by every user but must use the application coins owned by the user to be able to access

Abstract

In improving the quality of people in Lau Gumba Village, Karo District as one of the tourist destinations in North Sumatra, a deeper review of the education of the Reading House in Lau Gumba Village is needed, so that the impact of the educational results can increase the ability of the community in reading interests in Lau Gumba Village especially in Alkaromah SMK School, Karo District. To support this read interest program requires Design and analysis based on Resource Sharing by taking the Web Based Learning approach as an educational model using web applications. The Reading House to be designed will later become a facility for the community, students and children who are in the village area. The Reading House in Lau Gumba Village is now used as a place of recreation, a place of discussion, socializing and counseling for the surrounding community. Utilization of Reading Houses that have not represented the functions of village libraries are caused by the limited quantity and quality of books that are collections, the lack of educational toys and the absence of volunteer teacher learning companions for the community and children in Lau Gumba Village. The aim of this research is to increase public reading interest in reading houses in Lau Gumba Village as education and information based on Resource Sharing with the Web Based Learning model

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat menyebabkan banyak perusahaan mulai beralih dari sistem manual ke sistem terkomputerisasi. Sistem informasi menjadi kebutuhan bagi perusahaan karena sistem informasi dapat membantu dalam berbagai aspek seperti meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas proses bisnis, membantu dalam pengambilan keputusan, mengelola sumber daya dengan lebih maksimal, serta dapat meningkatkan produktivitas suatu perusahaan. Akan tetapi masih banyak perusahaan yang masih menggunakan sistem manual dalam menjalankan kegiatan operasionalnya, salah satunya Apotek Tuah Sehat. Terdapat beberapa masalah yang dihadapi Apotek Tuah Sehat saat menggunakan sistem secara manual, diantaranya: 1) Catatan data maupun transaksi yang ditulis di buku besar memiliki resiko terjadinya kerusakan bahkan kehilangan data, 2) Pengecekkan stok dilakukan secara manual sehingga memerlukan waktu yang lama dalam memperbaharui data stok barang, 3) Penulisan nota dan perhitungan total pembayaran secara manual mengakibatkan waktu yang diperlukan untuk melayani pelanggan menjadi lebih lama, dan 4) Laporan yang dibuat secara manual memerlukan waktu yang lama dalam penyusunannya. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang terjadi, maka diusulkan sistem terkomputerisasi sehingga efisiensi dan efektivitas proses bisnis dapat ditingkatkan. Untuk menghasilkan sistem informasi penjualan yang sesuai kebutuhan perusahaan, penelitian ini menggunakan Unified Modelling Language (UML) sebagai teknik pengembangan model dan menggunakan aplikasi visual studio code untuk pengkodean sistem.
