Manajemen IKM merupakan Jurnal Pengembangan Manajemen Industri Kecil Menengah (IKM) yang diterbitkan oleh Program Studi Industri Kecil Menengah (MPI) Sekolah Pascasarjana IPB sejak September 2006, memuat kegiatan dunia usaha kecil menengah (UKM), khususnya IKM beserta instansi yang terkait seperti perbankan, departemen teknis dan usaha swasta besar dan petani/nelayan. Manajemen IKM terbit setiap 6 bulan sekali (Februari dan September) dan ditujukan sebagai wadah untuk mengkomunikasikan hasil-hasil penelitian dari kajian tugas akhir mahasiswa MPI, khususnya yang terkait dengan pembinaan dan pengembangan IKM. Namun demikian, tulisan yang diterima Manajemen IKM terbuka bagi berbagai kalangan yang memiliki ketertarikan dalam pembinaan dan pengembangan IKM, baik itu peneliti, penyuluh, maupun pengusaha. Dengan diterbitkannya jurnal ini, maka kedepannya diharapkan lebih dipahami potensi, kendala dan pengembangan IKM melalui pendekatan holistik dan sinergi yang dilihat dari faktor-faktor ekonomi, manajerial dan faktor-faktor lainnya seperti kemitraan. Perintisan jurnal sebagai berkala ilmiah berwawasan nasional dimulai sejak Februari 2006 dengan nama Jurnal MPI dengan No. ISSN 1907-3127 yang memuat 9 judul artikel pada setiap edisi. Mulai terbitan edisi September 2009, judulnya dirubah menjadi Jurnal Manajemen IKM dengan No. ISSN 2085-8418. Jurnal Manajemen IKM selama ini mampu menjadi sarana penyebarluasan informasi ilmiah kepada para dosen atau peneliti lainnya, maupun masyarakat pengguna, serta sarana pengembangan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze consumer perceptions of honey fried banana products at Yoms Kopi & Gorengan Serpong. Perception analysis in this study was formed from the dimensions of the five senses, experience and individual knowledge. This research is a descriptive quantitative research using the Statistical Program for Social Science software. This study uses one variable (univariate). The object in this research is consumer perception. Sampling in this study used the Non Probability Sampling technique with the sampling method namely Purposive Sampling. Data analysis in this study included validity tests, reliability tests, and descriptive analysis. Based on the analysis of the data that has been obtained, the dimension of consumer perception that is most felt by customers on honey fried banana products at Yoms Kopi & Gorengan Serpong is the sensory dimension because the overall mean score obtained has the highest value compared to other consumer perception dimensions (4.41) and overall mean score on the dimensions of the five senses which means that all consumers/customers of Yoms Kopi & Gorengan Serpong strongly agree about feeling a different sensation when consuming Yoms honey fried bananas; Liked the Yoms honey fried banana product from the first time I consumed it; and Liked the taste of Yoms honey fried banana

Abstract

In order to increase the competitiveness of small and medium industries, it is necessary to increase the capacity of IKM in all business value chains. The government has imposed mandatory halal certificates for products in the region as a form of guarantee for halal products. For this reason, in order to encourage the competitiveness of IKM by penetrating the market through halal product guarantee certification, it is necessary to identify the conformity of the production of IKM XYZ with the Halal Product Assurance System for Micro, Small, and Medium Entreprises (MSMEs) based on the Circular Letter of the Head of the Halal Product Assurance Organizing Agency Number B-5952/BD.II./P.II.I.2/HM.00/09/2021. The following case study research was carried out using the method of identifying the initial conditions of IKM XYZ through interviews, then conducting an assessment of the Decree of the Head of the Halal Product Guarantee Agency Number 33 of 2022. Based on the identification results, it was determined that improvement was needed on the halal traceability aspect which had an impact on the inspection of the arrival of materials; transportation and distribution of materials and products; and Product launch/sales. In line with the Making Indonesia 4.0 policy that digital transformation is carried out in order to meet sustainability standards, the findings of improving the halal process are carried out by adopting digitalization. For this reason, digitization is carried out in digital bookkeeping activities to meet the criteria for halal guarantees in the form of a cloud-based data center. Based on the discussion conducted, it was concluded that the application of database technology based on number processing and cloud storage can provide answers to the findings of identification of halal product guarantees.

Abstract

The Indonesian government has issued a policy of Enforcement of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) to overcome the problem of the pandemic. Ordering food online is the largest monthly consumer digital expenditure during the COVID-19 pandemic. Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) of food delivery services in Indonesia is US$ 3.7 billion. Grabfood contributed $1.96 billion USD or 53% of Indonesia's total GMV. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of experimental marketing on customer satisfaction and repurchase intention, as well as the effect of customer satisfaction on repurchase intention on Grabfood services during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of experimental marketing on customer satisfaction and repurchase intention, as well as the effect of customer satisfaction on repurchase intention on Grabfood services during the Covid-19 pandemic. In this study, the sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with aapproach judgmental sampling with a total sample of 190 samples. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis approach and SEM-PLS analysis. The results of this study indicate that experimental marketing has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction and repurchase intention and customer satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on repurchase intention on Grabfood services during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Small and medium entreprises (SMEs) are the largest contributors to state revenue in Indonesia, but in factthe product quality of metal fabrication SMEs has a negative trend. This is because the products of metal fabricated SMEs have a significant level of defects. the purpose of this study such as ; (1) to analyze the level of defect, (2) to analyze the application of Total Quality Management (TQM) (3) to analyze the factors which significanly reduce the defect. The metal fabrication SMEs cluster located in Gunungsari, Pasirmukti and Tarikolot, the three villages are located in Citeureup sub-district, Bogor regency. This study used 109 respondent and processed multiple linear regression. TQM has significantly impact to reduce product defect.This SMEs needs to consistently apply TQM, so that product defects can be reduced

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic causes challenges and threats to micro and small businesses' unsustainability. This study aims to describe the dynamics of micro and small business actors in maintaining business continuity based on a sustainable livelihood framework. This research is located in Salatiga City, Central Java Province, Indonesia. The research method used is qualitative, with a case study approach to traditional culinary businesses and coffee shops. These findings indicate that the Covid-19 pandemic urges the government to take a Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) policy to the Enforcement of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) policy. Also, the obligation to implement health protocols to Clean, Health, Safety, and Environment (CHSE) certification for food and beverage businesses. The policy has limited the mobility and access capabilities of traditional culinary business entrepreneurs and coffee shops to social capital and financial capital, as observed by several culinary businesses and coffee shops that showed a quiet condition of visitors during the PPKM in force. To maintain business continuity during the pandemic, coffee shop entrepreneurs innovate products and business processes by utilizing digital platforms for online marketing; some culinary businesses and coffee shops use service on-demand applications to market food and beverages so that they can be accessed by buyers and still earn income during the PPKM applies. Thus, it shows that diversification and intensification are needed to support sustainable businesses and livelihoods during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Financial literacy plays a very important role in encouraging the accessibility of financial products and services provided by formal financial institutions. Several studies on financial literacy state that financial education will affect the level of financial literacy and a person's behavior in managing their finances. An adequate level of financial literacy is one of the keys to getting access to capital and better welfare. MSME actors must have the adequate financial literacy to participate in the financial sector and have access to financial services such as saving, buying insurance premiums, investing, obtaining credit, and others. Therefore, in an increasingly advanced era, basic financial knowledge and adequate skills are needed to manage economic and financial resources effectively as well as reliable risk management to achieve better welfare. Inadequate financial literacy can result in low access to financial institutions and hinder the achievement of welfare. The aim of the research is to identify the factors in financial literacy, to analyze the factors in financial literacy that influence the investment decisions of MSME actors, and to recommend alternative strategies to increase MSME literacy. This study uses primary and secondary data derived from filling out questionnaires by respondents and the opinions of experts through interviews. Based on multiple linear regression analysis, the financial literacy factors, namely Age (X1) and Gender (X2), each partially have no effect on the decision-making of MSME gold investment in Indonesian Sharia Banks, while Education (X3), and Income (X4) each partially has a significant effect on the gold investment decision of MSME actors in Indonesian Sharia Banks. The results of the SWOT and AHP analysis showed that the priority strategy in increasing financial literacy is creating promotional media about the benefits of investing in gold for MSME actors.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the production capacity of a supplier in order to anticipate the demand from manufacturers. Production capacity is a reference in maintaining the continuity of the relationship between manufacturers and suppliers in a supply chain, where manufacturers can provide information on varying demand quantities. This condition causes uncertainty in the supplier's capacity, including unused facilities or excess load. Regarding this situation, it is important for the supplier to adjust its capacity to meet consumer needs, especially if the supplier is a small and medium enterprise (SME), which is generally controlled by the flow of demand from manufacturers. In this research, a control chart is utilized to determine the estimated production capacity limit. The variation in production capacity limits should be evaluated with a break-even point (BEP) approach to determine viable production capacity to meet the needs of manufacturers, which is influenced by volume and cost. The test results show that the control limit is able to anticipate variations in demand from manufacturers, with the upper and lower control limits that can be used as production references by SMEs to meet the needs of manufacturers. However, it is important to note that the selection of the control limit used as a production reference depends on the viable production area found in the BEP approach.

Abstract

Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are often referred to as one of the pillars of a region's economic strength. This is because MSMEs have the flexibility and ability to adapt to rapidly changing market conditions compared to large-scale companies. Depok City is one of the most strategic areas in West Java Province. Its location and position as a buffer for the capital city and its strong influence on economic growth in the surrounding area are an opportunity as well as a challenge so that Depok is be able to align its economic opportunities with the potential and direction of governance that have been structured. Godongijo, as one of the ecotourism MSMEs in Sawangan, has experienced a decrease in income in the last few months. Some of the causes are influenced by the nature of the tourism industry with different market needs due to developing trends, economic fluctuations, competition between tourist resort entrepreneurs, and the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, Godongijo needs to develop a competitive advantage that can provide high profits and the stability that determines the sustainability of its business. Primary data collection was obtained through direct observation and interviews with Godongijo Management. In addition, questionnaires were distributed to MSME players in the Godongijo area. Secondary or library data collection is obtained from national and international journals as well as research documents related to the development of local entrepreneurship. The strategy formulation method is based on internal and external factor analysis IE matrix, Strength, Weakness, Oppourtunities & Threats matrix (SWOT), and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). For the future, there are several development strategies from the results of the analysis that can be used according to the needs and business conditions of UMKM in Godongijo, such as making a characteristic gate or Godongijo icon so that it is quickly recognized by tourists in the city or outside the city, making the parking area wider, and establishing a Mini Zoo for children's educational tours.

Abstract

Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) Cipto Cirebon Branch is one of the branches of BSM that focuses on microfinancing to micro and small enterprises (UMK) in Cirebon. The research objectives are (1) to analyze the feasibility of micro-financing in micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with the 5C principle; (2) to identify environmental factors that affect the feasibility of MSME financing; and (3) to Develop a form of micro-financing strategy for MSMEs. Primary data collection was carried out by direct interviews using questionnaires to experts who mastered the problems. Business feasibility analysis with the 5C principal approach. Strategy analysis with Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE), External Factor Evaluation (EFE), Internal-External (IE) and Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT matrix) and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) to determine strategic priorities. The results of the financing feasibility analysis with the 5C principle show that the BSM Cipto Cirebon Branch has been implemented well, in accordance with the provisions that have been set. The results of the identification of internal strategy factors were obtained which became the main strength of the Cipto Cirebon Branch of BSM, namely a fairly easy requirement in applying for MSME loans. The main weakness is the lack of human capitals understanding of the product. Government support for microfinance is the main opportunity, while the main threat is the Covid-19 pandemic. Determination of the position of the IE matrix strategy, showing the position of BSM Cipto Cirebon Branch is located in cell V (guard and maintain). The appropriate strategy to be applied is market penetration and product development. Based on the SWOT matrix analysis, eight alternative strategies were identified to be considered, then with the QSP matrix, the strategies that should be prioritized for implementation were obtained, namely to innovate products according to the times and the needs of the community.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation, motivation, and work loyalty on the performance of employees at Gurih 7 Restaurant Bogor. Data collection through questionnaires and data analysis techniques used in this study is a quantitative method with the help of the SPSS 22.0 program. The rating system used in this study is a Likert scale. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The population in this study were all restaurant employees, totaling 34 people. The sampling technique in this study used the slovin formula. The results of the study concluded that compensation has no positive and significant effect on employee performance. Motivation has no positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work loyalty has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.
