Abstract

This research is motivated by the many mistakes made by students in solving story problems. The purpose of this study was to find out the mistakes made by students in solving story problems on Trigonometry material and to find out the causes of errors made by students in working on story problems on Trigonometry material. This research method uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were students of class X IPS SMA PGRI 3 Padang in the 2020/2021 academic year who had been selected by total sampling. Instruments used for data collection in the form of tests, interviews, and documentation. The test results were analyzed based on the error according to Newman. The results showed that some students made mistakes in understanding, errors in transforming, errors in processing skills, errors in writing the final answer. The cause of this error is that students do not know what is actually being asked in the problem, and accidentally get information on the question, so they cannot complete the information for the next step, do not understand how it turns into a question. mathematical models, and not proficient in counting. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan banyaknya kesalahan yang dilakukan peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita  pada materi Trigonometri dan mengetahui penyebab terjadinya kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh siswa dalam mengerjakan soal cerita pada materi Trigonometri. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas X IPS SMA PGRI 3 Padang Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021 yang telah dipilih secara total sampling. Instrument yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data berupa tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil tes dianalisis berdasarkan kesalahan menurut Newman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian siswa melakukan kesalahan dalam memahami, kesalahan dalam mentransformasi, kesalahan dalam keterampilan proses kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir. Penyebab kesalahan ini adalah siswa tidak mengetahui apa yang sebenarnya ditanyakan dalam soal, dan tidak sengaja mendapatkan informasi pada soal tersebut, sehingga mereka tidak dapat melengkapi informasi untuk langkah selanjutnya, tidak mengerti bagaimana menjelma menjadi sebuah pertanyaan. model matematika, dan tidak mahir dalam menghitung.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop e-module teaching materials using the sigil application. The type of this research is research and development (R&D). The development model used is a combination of 3-D and Luther Sutopo models, namely define, design, develop (concept, desing, collecting, assembly, testing and distribution materials). After the product was produced based on the results of product trials for aspects of validity, material experts and media experts obtained 82% which is very valid. Aspects of practicality for teachers and students with a percentage of 78.34% or practical, and for the effectiveness test the effective criteria are 77% while the test results are 82.56% with very effective criteria. So it can be concluded that the design of e-module teaching materials using the sigil application on the subject of Geometric Transformation for class XI SMA students is valid, practical and effective.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar e-modul menggunakan aplikasi sigil. Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development/ R&D). Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah mengkombinasikan antara 3-D dan model Luther Sutopo yaitu define, design, develop (concept, desing, material collecting, assembly, testing dan distribution). Setelah produk dihasilkan berdasarkan hasil uji coba produk untuk aspek kevalidan pada ahli materi dan ahli media memperoleh 82% yaitu sangat valid. Aspek kepraktisan bagi guru dan siswa dengan persentase 78,34% atau praktis, dan untuk uji efektifitas memperoleh kriteria efektif sebesar 77% sedangkan dari hasil tes diperoleh 82,56% dengan kriteria sangat efektif. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa rancangan bahan ajar e-modul menggunakan aplikasi sigil pada pokok bahasan Transformasi Geometri untuk anak kelas XI SMA dinyatakan valid, praktis dan efektif .

Abstract

Self-efficacy of students in class XI TSM B SMK Negeri 1 Bukit Sundi is still low so it has a negative impact on self-efficacy and student mathematics learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine how students' self efficacy after applying Think  pair square type cooperative learning models. This type of research is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The research subjects were all students of class XI TSM SMK Negeri 1 Bukit Sundi, amounting to two classes. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The class chosen as the sample class is XI TSM B. To obtain the research data, an instrument in the form of a self efficacy questionnaire was used to interpret the self efficacy scores. The results obtained were 20% for the very strong criteria and 80% for the strong criteria, with an average of all indicators being 64.53% including the strong criteria. Dare to face the challenges is at the highest percentage with a percentage of 67.36% which is included in the strong criteria. He was sure that his success would be at the lowest percentage with the percentage of 60.19% and included in the strong criteria. It can be concluded that the students' self-efficacy during the application of Think  pair square type cooperative learning models in class XI TSM B SMK Negeri 1 Bukit Sundi Solok Regency with strong criteria on each indicator and needed continuous and continuous development Self efficacy siswa di kelas XI TSM B SMK Negeri 1 Bukit Sundi masih rendah sehingga berakibat terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah self efficacy siswa setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think  pair Square. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian dekriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI TSM B. Untuk memperoleh data penelitian digunakan instrumen berupa angket self efficacy dengan cara menginterpretasikan skor self efficacy. Hasil persentase rata-rata seluruh indikator adalah 64,53% termasuk pada kriteria kuat. Indikator Berani menghadapi tantangan berada pada persentase tertinggi dengan jumlah persentase sebesar 67,36% yang termasuk pada kriteria kuat. Yakin akan keberhasilan dirinya berada pada persentase terendah dengan jumlah persentase yaitu 60,19% dan termasuk pada kriteria kuat. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Self efficacy siswa selama penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think  pair square di kelas XI TSM B SMK Negeri 1 Bukit Sundi Kabupaten Solok dengan kriteria kuat pada masing-masing indikator dan diperlukan pengembangan secara terus menerus dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The background in this study is based on the observations of researchers at SMA Negeri 1 Merangin, based on the data on the educational level of fathers of class XI MIPA students who are very diverse where the percentages for elementary school/equivalent are 7.79%, junior high school/equivalent 12.98%, high school/equivalent 56.49% and the tertiary level 22.72%. However, with the father's education level still elementary/equivalent and junior high/equivalent, this does not make the student's mathematics learning outcomes low either. This study aims to determine the difference in the level of father's education on the students' mathematics learning outcomes carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Merangin. This study is a population study using ex-post facto research methods. The total population in this study amounted to 154 students. Data collection techniques using documentation. Based on the results of the study using the Oneway Anova test, the significance value of students' mathematics learning outcomes was sig = 0.808, at a significance level of = 0.05. Because the value of sig = 0.808 > = 0.05 so H0 is accepted. It can be concluded that there is no difference in students' mathematics learning outcomes based on the father's education level in the elementary, middle and high categories in class XI MIPA at SMA Negeri 1 Merangin. Latar belakang pada penelitian ini didasari oleh hasil observasi peneliti di SMA Negeri 1 Merangin, berdasarkan data tingkat pendidikan ayah  siswa kelas XI MIPA sangat beragam dimana diperoleh pesentase untuk tingkat  SD/sederejat sebesar 7.79%, SMP/sederajat 12.98%, SMA/sederajat 56.49% dan tingkat perguruan tinggi 22.72%. Namun dengan masih adanya tingkat pendidikan ayah SD/sederajat dan SMP/sederajat, hal tersebut tidak menjadikan hasil belajar matematika  siswa tersebut rendah pula. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedan tingkat pendidikan ayah terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa yang dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Merangin. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian populasi yang menggunakan metode penelitian ex-post facto. Jumlah populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 154 siswa. Teknik  pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menggunakan uji Oneway Anova diperoleh  nilai signifikansi hasil belajar matematika siswa sebesar sig = 0.808, pada taraf signifikansi α = 0.05. Karena nilai sig  = 0.808 >  α = 0.05 sehingga H0 diterima. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan hasil belajar matematika siswa berdasarkan tingkat pendidikan ayah kategori dasar menengah dan tinggi di kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Merangin.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity and practicality of the product developed in the form of a mathematics learning device based on Realistic Mathematical Education (RME) in the flat-sided geometry material for Package B students equivalent to class VIII SMP. This research was conducted at the Kasih Bundo Community Learning Activity Center, Bukittinggi. This research is a development research using the Plomp development model. The results of the research discussed are related to the results of the validity test and practicality test. The validity test is based on the results of the expert review, while the practicality is based on one to one and small group trials in the field. The validity test obtained very valid criteria, while for the one to one and small group activities it was found that there was an increase after using the student worksheet (LKPD) which was developed using the RME approach.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas dan praktikalitas dari produk yang dikembangkan berupa perangkat pem,belajaran matematika berbasis Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar untuk siswa Paket B setara kelas VIII SMP. Penelitian ini dilakukukan di Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat Kasih Bundo Bukittinggi. Penelitian merupakan penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan Plomp. Hasil penelitian yang dibahas terkait hasil uji validitas dan uji praktikalitas. Uji validitas berdasarkan hasil expert review sedangkan praktikalitas berdasarkan uji coba one to one dan small group di lapangan. Uji validitas tersebut memperoleh kriteria sangat valid, sedangkan untuk kegiatan one to one dan small group diketahui adanya peningkatan setelah menggunakan lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD) yang dikembangkan menggunakan pendekatan RME.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) in helping students understand the concept of number patterns. The research method used is design research. The research is focused on designing HLT which is validated, revised and tested one-to-one for students. Research data were collected through observation, interviews, and analysis of student answers. The instruments used are HLT and student worksheets using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach through literature study. The collected data were collected and analyzed qualitatively. This research was conducted at the Non-Formal Education Program Package A level 2, involving 3 students with high, medium and low ability levels. The results of the analysis show that students with medium and high abilities can understand the material quite well, while students with low abilities have difficulty understanding the problems given. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) dalam membantu peserta didik dalam memahami konsep pola bilangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian desain. Penelitian difokuskan untuk merancang HLT yang divalidasi, direvisi dan diujicobakan secara one-to-one kepada peserta didik. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis jawaban peserta didik. Instrument yang digunakan berupa HLT dan lembar kerja peserta didik dengan menggunakan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education  (RME) melalui studi literature. Data yang dikumpulkan dikumpulkan dianalisis secara kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Pendidikan Non Formal Program Paket A tingkat 2, dengan melibatkan 3 orang peserta didik dengan tingkat kemampuan tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa  peserta didik dengan kemampuan sedang dan tinggi dapat memahami materi cukup baik, sedangkan peserta didik kemampuan rendah mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami masalah yang diberikan.

Abstract

overcome this problem is to use the Pair Check type Cooperative Learning model in learning mathematics. The purpose of this study was to find out how the activities of class VIII students of SMPN 4 Lareh Sago Halaban in the 2019/2020 academic year using the Cooperative Learning model of the Pair Check type and to find out how the mathematics learning outcomes of students who used the Cooperative Learning model of the Pair Check type were better than conventional learning. in class VIII of SMPN 4 Lareh Sago Halaban for the 2019/2020 academic year. This type of research is a pre-experimental research design, namely The Static Group Comparison: Randomized Control Group Only Design. The population in this study were all eighth grade students of SMPN 4 Lareh Sago Halaban for the 2019/2020 school year. Sampling was done randomly, obtained class VIII 1 as the experimental class and class VIII 2 as the control class. Activity data was obtained from observation sheets and learning outcomes were obtained from students' mathematics learning test results. Based on the analysis of student activity observations, overall student activities with the Pair Check type Cooperative Learning model are classified as active with an average of 70.19%. From the hypothesis test, it was obtained that tcount = 2.11 and ttable = 1.68, because tcount > ttable, H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. And from the calculation of SPSS16 obtained a significant value of 0.041, = 0.05 and a significant value <α so that H0 is rejected. It can be concluded that students' mathematics learning outcomes with the Pair Check type of Cooperative Learning Model are better than conventional learning in class VIII of SMPN 4 Lareh Sago Halaban for the 2019/2020 school year". Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya aktivitas siswa saat pembelajaran  matematika, dan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari persentase jawaban ulangan harian siswa kelas VIII SMPN 4 Lareh Sago Halaban Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Terdapat kategori hasil belajar rendah dengan persentase 68,25%. Salah satu alternatif pembelajaran yang diduga dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah dengan menggunakan model Cooperative Learning tipe Pair Check pada pembelajaran matematika. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana aktivitas siswa kelas VIII SMPN 4 Lareh Sago Halaban Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020 dengan menggunakan model Cooperative Learning tipe Pair Check dan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar matematika siswa yang menggunakan model Cooperative Learning tipe Pair Check  lebih baik dari pada pembelajaran konvesional di kelas VIII SMPN 4 Lareh Sago Halaban Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pra eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian yaitu The Static Group Comparison: Randomized Control Group Only Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 4 Lareh Sago Halaban tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak, diperoleh kelas VIII 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Data aktivitas diperoleh dari lembar observasi dan hasil belajar diperoleh dari hasil tes belajar matematika siswa. Berdasarkan analisis observasi aktivitas siswa, secara keseluruhan aktivitas siswa dengan model Cooperative Learning tipe Pair Check tergolong aktif dengan rata-rata 70,19%. Dari uji hipotesis diperoleh thitung = 2,11 dan ttabel= 1,68, karena thitung > ttabel  maka H0 ditolak dan H1  diterima. Dan dari perhitungan SPSS16 diperoleh nilai signifikan 0,041,  dan nilai signifikan  sehingga H0 ditolak. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar Matematika Siswa dengan Model Cooperative Learning tipe Pair Check lebih baik daripada Pembelajaran Konvensional dikelas VIII SMPN 4 Lareh Sago Halaban tahun pelajaran 2019/2020”.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability of students to understand mathematical concepts. The Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model can be used as an innovative teaching solution in improving the ability to understand concepts because the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model is a learning model that emphasizes three aspects, namely learning by listening, learning by thinking and repetition. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Auditory Intellectual Repetition (AIR) learning model in improving students' understanding of mathematical concepts. The design of this research is Pre Experimental with the form of research used is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sampling technique used is Simple Random Sampling. After the samples were taken randomly, class X IPA 2 was chosen as the experimental class. The instrument in this study was in the form of a student's mathematical concept understanding ability test. The data analysis technique in this study used N-Gain data and the Paired Sample T Test (t test). Based on the average N-Gain value, it can be concluded that the Auditory Intellectual Repetition (AIR) learning model is effective in improving students' mathematical concept understanding abilities. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Model pembelajaran  Auditory Intelletually Repetition (AIR) dapat dijadikan suatu solusi pengajaran yang inovatif  dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep karena model pembelajaran Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) merupakan model pembelajaran yang menekankan tiga aspek, yaitu belajar dengan mendengar, belajar dengan berfikir dan pengulangan.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model pembelajaran Auditory Intelletually Repetition (AIR) efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.  Desain penelitian ini adalah Pre Experimental dengan bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Simple Random Sampling. Setelah sampel diambil secara acak, terpilih kelas X IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Abstract

Problem solving which is an important component in mathematics contributes to the development of the times. However, this ability is still not fully mastered by students. Therefore, there needs to be further research related to the causes of the low problem solving ability of students. One of them is self-confidence (self-efficacy). The purpose of this study was to describe the problem solving ability and self-efficacy of students and to see the relationship between the two. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects taken were 34 students of class XI MIPA 1 at SMAN 1 Banuhampu. In this study, there were two instruments used were self-efficacy questionnaires with problem-solving ability tests. The analysis shows that (1) there are still students who cannot work on the questions given by leaving the answers blank (2) Between problem solving and self-efficacy has a very weak or very low correlation where r = 0.0094. (3) Almost all students have good self-efficacy which is at a fairly low to high level. Pemecahan masalah yang merupakan komponen penting dalam matematika turut andil dalam perkembangan zaman. Namun, kemampuan ini masih belum sepenuhnya dikuasai oleh siswa. Oleh karena itu, perlu ada penelitian lanjutan terkait penyebab rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Salah satunya adalah kepercayaan diri (efikasi diri). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan self efikasi siswa serta melihat hubungan di antara keduanya. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian yang diambil adalah 34 siswa kelas XI MIPA 1 di SMAN 1 Banuhampu. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat dua instrumen yang digunakan yaitu angket efikasi diri dan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa (1) masih ada siswa yang tidak dapat mengerjakan soal yang diberikan dengan mengosongkan jawaban, (2) antara pemecahan masalah dengan self-efficacy memiliki korelasi yang sangat lemah atau sangat rendah dimana . (3) Hampir semua siswa memiliki efikasi diri yang bagus dimana berada pada level cukup rendah hingga tinggi.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students experiencing difficulties in solving problems in the form of descriptions and students' problem solving abilities in learning mathematics are still low at SMP Negeri 7 Lubuk Basung in the 2020/2021 academic year, this is indicated by the lack of independence of students in learning mathematics. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a significant effect of learning independence on the mathematical problem solving abilities of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 7 Lubuk Basung in the 2020/2021 academic year. The statistical analysis technique used in this research is regression analysis. The results of this study obtained a correlation coefficient value of rxy = 0.543 and a determinant coefficient value of KD = 29.4849% From hypothesis testing, for the significant effect of learning independence on mathematical problem solving abilities of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 7 Lubuk Basung obtained Zcount = 3.801 and Ztable = 1.96 at 0.05 confidence. The regression equation between learning independence and mathematical problem solving ability of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 7 Lubuk Basung Y = -30.009 + 1.126X. If Zcount > Ztable, then the research hypothesis is accepted. This means that there is a significant effect of learning independence on students' mathematical problem solving abilities.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal berbentuk uraian dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika tergolong masih rendah di SMP Negeri 7 Lubuk Basung Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021, hal ini diindikasikan oleh kurang mandirinya siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Tujuan dilaksanakan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh signifikan kemandirian belajar terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Lubuk Basung Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. Teknik analisis statistik penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar rxy = 0.543 dan nilai koefisien determinan sebesar KD = 29.4849% Dari pengujian hipotesis, untuk pengaruh signifikan kemandirian belajar terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Lubuk Basung diperoleh Zhitung = 3.801 dan Ztabel = 1.96  pada kepercayaan 0.05. Persamaan regresi antara kemandirian belajar terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Lubuk Basung Y = -30.009 + 1.126X. Jika Zhitung > Ztabel , maka hipotesis penelitian diterima. Artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan kemandirian belajar terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa.
