Abstract

This article reviews east Java's local political news on the online news portal Beritatrends.com, a news portal based in the Magetan region of East Java. The focus of the issue under review is how the editorial process in the production of local political news editions in February-October 2018, and how the independence of local political news editions in february-October 2018 editions in online media Beritatrends.com. The analysis used in this article is a content analysis technique. The results of the analysis showed that the editorial process in the production of online media Beritatrends.com has been in accordance with the standards and stages of the procedure of the news production process which includes pre-production, production, and post-production. Local political news in the Beritatrends.com February-October 2018, appeared independent. News content contains personalized elements in a particular person, so that the reader is directed to positive opinions and stereotypes to an object. Although the appearance of some local political news Beritatrends.com is not independent, but the news is presented by fulfilling the elements of good news, namely the presence of elements 5W + 1H, and the news is accurate by listing the time of an event, the suitability of the news headline with the content of the news, including photos or images of events as supporting data.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, the process of delivering a message and receiving it is so fast and easy. This is evidenced by the existence of social networking applications that are present on smartphones. The use of social media is very diverse, so that many people, ranging from ordinary people to journalists, can spread what they want. However, unfortunately, sometimes there are those who spread information on social media who do not pay attention to communication ethics, causing untrue news such as hoaxes, defamation, denunciation, etc. all of which are out of the realm of ethics. Whereas in Islam really uphold ethics in communication and prioritize ethics. And in principle, it leads people to experience a peaceful and comfortable life. So as media users must apply ethics, one of these ethics is the principle of Islamic communication, in which this communication has four main points, namely; honest, positive message, tabayyun and silm. Which Islamic communication has two main sources, namely the Al-Quran and As-Sunnah.

Abstract

In the midst of the outbreak of the Covid 19 (Corona Virus) pandemic which has killed thousands of people in the world, it is a very frightening thing for most people, until the government implements regional closures, PSBB (large-scale social restrictions), and quarantine of such areas to stop the spread of this Corona Virus . However, in the middle of the holy month of Ramadan, preaching activities are increasingly being carried out because this month Muslims want to flock to improve themselves and increase their charity. Islam and da'wah are two inseparable things. Islam will not progress and develop bersyi'ar and shine without any efforts to preach. The more incessant preaching efforts are carried out, the more Islamic religion is shouting, the more lax the efforts of preaching the fainter the light of Islam in society. Latsaal-islam illa bi al-da'ah, that's a wise word expressed in the book of kyai prostitution. In facing the era of globalization of information and technological developments lately, the world is faced with the rapid development of information flows. It seems that the use of technology tools as a medium for conveying information to the public cannot be stopped. But on the contrary, the existence of sophisticated technology in the era of globalization of information and communication can be used for disseminating information and messages of Islamic da'wah. In relation to the psychology of da'i, da'i can do what he wants to do because of a change in social society. The psychology of a good da'i will be able to provide a good da'wah effect in society.

Abstract

Abstract This paper discusses the phenomenon of the development of communication tools in the ancient era until it has grown rapidly until now. Many uncovered stories that are not true from people who are not responsible, either from certain groups or from personal interests. Communication from social media is very dangerous if it is not accompanied by proper ethics in communicating, especially in social media. AS-Syaukani, for example, defines the keyword al-bayan as the ability to communicate. Besides that, in the al-quran there is another keyword, namely qoul. The commands to say in the al-quran and hadith are an indication of the obligation for Muslims to apply the nature of honesty and correct speech which in the concept of al-quran is known as qaulan sadidan.

Abstract

Pada dasarnya di era sekarang ini terlihat begitu banyak individu yang menggunakan media sosial. Banyak sekali yang memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai media self disclosure (Pengungkapan diri). Self Disclosure yang merupakan kegiatan berbagi suatu pemikiran dan rasa dengan orang lain ini berkaitan erat dengan perantara media sosial yang mana dapat menjangkau publik secara luas dan bersamaan. Salah satu contoh media sosial yang banyak sekali digunakan adalah whatsapp stories. Di dalam whatsapp stories itulah sebagian Mahasiswa Fakultas Ushuluddin Adab dan Dakwah IAIN Ponorogo Tahun Angkatan 2017 melakukan pengungkapan diri, dan whatsapp merupakan ruang lingkup publik, berarti keterbukaan yang dilakukan dapat dibagikan dan dikonsumsi oleh banyak orang. Untuk itu perlu diketahui bagaimana bentuk dan efek dari keterbukaan yang dilakukan oleh Mahasiswa Fakultas Ushuluddin Adab dan Dakwah IAIN Ponorogo Tahun Angkatan 2017. Penelitian ini berfokus pada whatsapp stories sebagai media komunikasi self disclosure. Untuk menjabarkan focus penelitian tersebut secara mendalam, dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teori Self Disclosure Johari Window. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, telah ditemukan: Pertama, bentuk self disclosure Mahasiswa Fakultas Ushuluddin Adab dan Dakwah IAIN Ponorogo Tahun Angkatan 2017 adalah terbuka, buta, dan tertutup. Kedua, efek yang ditimbulkan dari self disclosure yaitu berupa efek positif dan efek negatif. Efek positifnya adalah mencapai kepuasan, respon orang lain menentukan perubahan diri, dan postingan orang lain membuka pikiran diri. Sedangkan untuk efek negatifnya adalah apabila tidak dapat mengontrol penggunaan maka akan mendapatkan respon negatif dari orang lain, tidak mendapatkan kepercayaan, dan mendapatkan kerugian.

Abstract

Each television station presents various programs to attract public interest. No exception with Net TV. This television station presents a Talk show program entitled "Tonight Show". The Tonight Show program was hosted by famous presenters Vincent and Desta. The Tonight Show was packed with talks between presenters and guest stars, to make the event more attractive, there were various games that were no less fun to entertain the audience. The Tonight Show hosts have their own delivery styles. With different colors Vincent and Desta can combine their communication styles into one interesting mix. Many people have their interest in the Tonight Show because the presenter's style is not boring. The theoretical runway used is the theory of uses and grastification belonging to Blumer and Kaltz.

Abstract

Along with its development, internet technology brings so many impacts to society. Not only in the way of communicating and seeking information, the development of the internet itself also has an impact on the sexual life of its users. The phenomenon of cybersex as one of the deviations in internet consumption patterns in society is a manifestation of the impact of the development of the internet on a person's sexual life. The existence of the internet have changed the concept of traditional sexuality to be more modern, where now the fulfillment of sexual needs can also be done through virtual activities, not just physical contact. As a result, the internet is now widely used as a tool to satisfying the sexual desires of cybersex perpetrators themselves. And Indonesia, is one of the countries where the cybersex phenomenon is growing so rapidly.

Abstract

Abstract Radio is a communication medium that emerged in the telecommunications era. Radio as a medium of communication provides convenience for the public to obtain information. Along with the development of high information technology, radio has various challenges to maintain its existence. This study aims to determine the communication strategy used by Radio Citra in increasing listener interest. In this study, using the post-positivist paradigm, and including the type of qualitative research. This study uses three data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study used the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are that Citra radio's strategy in increasing listener interest is by packaging interesting programs, using social media Facebook, Instagram and streaming for broadcasts, functioning broadcasters as the spearhead and heart, actively engaging the community directly, and using conformity strategies. Radio Citra also makes careful program planning, makes program productions, executes programs to broadcast programs according to a predetermined plan, and conducts monitoring and evaluation.

Abstract

This study show the political communication strategy of a party, especially the National Democratic Party (NasDem) in Central Java in the 2019 Legislative Election.This study uses the Elaboration Likelihood ModelTheory from Petty and Cacciopo, where the persuasion of messages in the campaign can be accepted by the public so that they can win the 2019 Legislative Election contestation. This study uses a postpositivism paradigm, with qualitative descriptive research methods and triangulation of data sources, while the focus of this research is on the candidates for members of the NasDem Party who are now members of the legislative in the DPRD of Central Java Province. The results of this study indicate that the Political Communication Tactics used by the Central Java NasDem Party in winning the 2019 Election Contestation was communicating with a traditional approach by personally meeting the cloud community, organizations community, community leaders, Islamic figure (Kiai), former officials, RT and RW. Those ways were carried out by the model of house visit, 'nguwongke uwong',. The result of this study indicates that three legislative candidates who are currently sitting in the DPRD of Central Java have been elected.

Abstract

Masalah yang diteliti dalam skripsi ini adalah (1) Bagaimana Gaya Bahasa Oki Setiana Dewi dalam Kisah Detik-Detik Wafatnya Rasullullah SAW. (2) Bagaimana Gerak Tubuh Oki Setiana Dewi dalam Menceritakan Detik-Detik Wafatnya Rasullullah SAW. Adapun tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui bagaimana gaya bahasa, dan gerak tubuh Oki Setiana Dewi dalam Kisah Detik-Detik wafatnya Rasullah SAW berdasarkan analisis semiotik model Ferdinan De Saussure. Metode penelitian ini berisikan tentang pendekatan dan jenis penelitian, unit analisis, jenis dan sumber data, tahapan penelitian, tehnik pengumpulan data, dan tehnik analisis data. Fokus dari penelitian ini yaitu lebih ke bagaimana gaya bahasa Oki dan gaya gerak tubuh Oki pada saat berdakwah.Untuk mengidentifikasi persoalan tersebut secara mendalam, dan menyeluruh dalam penelitian ini digunakan model kualitatif. Kemudian data yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi dan dokumentasi data dianalisis menggunakan analisis semiotik model Ferdinan De Saussure. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu (1) gaya retorika dakwah Oki Setiana Dewi yang pertama adalah dengan gaya bahasa berdasarkan pilihan kata menggunakan gaya bahasa percakapan. Gaya bahasa sederhana dan untuk gaya bahasa berdasarkan struktur kalimat menggunakan bahasa paralisme. Kemudian gaya suara yang digunakan Oki sangat berfariasi dari suara rendah hingga suara tinggi. (2) sedagkan gaya gerak tubuh Oki meliputi sikap badan, dengan berdiri tegak, pandagan mata yang tegas, kemudian untuk pakaian yang digunakan sangat sopn. Berdasarkan masalah dan kesimpulan tersebut, rekomendasi untuk berikutnya adalah dilakukan penelitian mendalam dengan tentang data presepsi dari pendengar sekaligus menggunakan metode kuantitatif sehingga ada hasil yang bernilai nominal.
