Abstract

The Gas Gathering Station (GGS) in field X processes gas from 16 (sixteen) wells before being sent as selling gas to consumers. The sixteen wells have decreased in good pressure since 2011, thus affecting the performance of the Acid Gas Removal Unit (AGRU). The GGS consists of 4 (four) main units, namely the Manifold Production/ Test, the Separation Unit, the Acid Gas Removal Unit (AGRU), the Dehydration Unit (DHU). The AGRU facility in field X is designed to reduce the acid gas content of CO2 by 21 mol% with a feed gas capacity of 85 MMSCFD. A decrease in reservoir pressure caused an increase in the feed gas temperature and an increase in the water content of the well. Based on the reconstruction of the design conditions into the simulation model, the amine composition consisting of MDEA 0.3618 and MEA 0.088 wt fraction to obtain the percentage of CO2 in the 5% mol sales gas. The increase in feed gas temperature up to 146 F caused foaming due to condensation of heavy hydrocarbon fraction, so it was necessary to modify it by adding a chiller to cool the feed gas to become 60 F. Based on the simulation, the flow rate of gas entering AGRU could reach 83.7 MMSCFD. There was an increase in gas production of 38.1 MMSCFD and condensate of 1,376 BPD. Economically, the addition of a chiller modification project was feasible with the economical parameters of NPV US$ 132,000,000, IRR 348.19%, POT 0.31 year and PV ratio 19.06.

Abstract

The use of synthetic coatings as Food Additives consumed in the long term can damage human health. These horrible effects have paved the way for the development of edible films and natural edible coatings. One of the edible film ingredients is scorched rice which can be used as a coating in fruit preservation. However, the use of this edible film on food ingredients has some problems, especially its mechanical properties which tend to be fragile (not flexible). This article examines the mechanical characteristics of scorched rice with variations in the concentration of glycerol and carrageenan. Based on these results, it was concluded that the higher the volume of glycerol used, the percent elongation increased. The greatest elongation was obtained in the ratio of 3 g of carrageenan with 8 ml of glycerol. However, the addition of glycerol volume causes the biodegradable plastic to tear more easily. The greatest tensile strength value was obtained with a ratio of 5 g of carrageenan and 4 ml of glycerol. The edible film can prevent the spoilage of apples tested for 10 days.

Abstract

Zeolite as an adsorbent has been widely used. Zeolite activation was carried out to increase the absorption. This study aimed to determine the characteristics of the active zeolite and apply it as an adsorbent. The activation process was carried out by adding acid and calcining at 4500C for 6 hours. Remazol Yellow FG is a dye that is widely used in the textile industry. In this study, the adsorption process was carried out on the Remazol Yellow FG solution, then analyzed the effect of changes in pH (5, 6, 7, 8, 9), contact time (30, 60, 90, 120, 150 minutes) and the concentration of Remazol Yellow FG solution ( 50, 100, 150, 200, 250 ppm) on the adsorption of Remazol Yellow FG dye. From the analysis of the sample solution of Remazol Yellow, the values of Ce and qe can be calculated. These values were then used to calculate KL and KF in the Langmuir adsorption isotherm and Freundlich adsorption isotherm models. From the experimental results, it could be seen that as the contact time increased, the adsorption capacity would be greater. However, when the zeolite was already in the saturated phase, the adsorption capacity would tend to decrease. In the Langmuir adsorption isotherm, the KL value was 0.0274 L/mg and in the Freundlich adsorption isotherm model, the KF value was 29.25 L/mg. Remazol Yellow FG adsorption tended to follow the Langmuir adsorption isotherm model with an R2 value of 0.998.

Abstract

In general, the use of oil palm parts can be utilized by industry, but it is different from oil palm shells which become waste. The high use of plastic is proportional to the waste generated. So far, both types of waste are problems that have not been resolved. The utilization of waste shell waste and low-density polyethylene using the pyrolysis method. Microwave technology has been widely used as a heat source in the pyrolysis process. The advantages of using microwaves in pyrolysis are fast and selective heating, efficient energy use, and control of pyrolysis products. This study aimed to determine the characteristics of Pyrolytic-oil from the pyrolysis of waste oil palm shells and Low-density polyethylene. The research was conducted using a microwave with temperature variations of 400oC, 450oC, 500oC, 550oC and 600oC. The composition of the main ingredients consisted of 75 grams of palm shells, 75 grams of low-density polyethylene plastic, 56.25 grams of a zeolite catalyst, 56.25 grams of calcium oxide and 131.25 grams of charcoal carbon absorber. The results showed the effect of temperature on pyrolytic-oil productivity; as the temperature increases, the product gas increases. The lowest density value at a temperature of 400oC is 966.8 Kg/m. The lowest viscosity at a temperature variation of 500oC is 2.1 Mpa.s. The highest acidity value is at a temperature of 550oC.

Abstract

Non-Pneumatic Tires (NPT) are tires that do not use compressed air like other tires. In this paper, the optimal design obtained is based on the static and explicit dynamic behavior of the NPT construction, which has hexagonal honeycomb spokes. The hexagonal honeycomb type NPT component consists of the hub wheel, outer ring, spokes, and tread. The honeycomb model is made differently based on tread thickness (20 mm, 25 mm, 30 mm), outer ring thickness (0.25 mm, 0.5 mm, 0.75 mm), spokes thickness (3 mm, 5 mm, 7 mm), and the number of spokes holes (12, 13, 14). Based on the simulation results of Ansys and Minitab, the recommended optimal design is 20 mm tread thickness, 3.2 mm spokes thickness, 0.25 mm outer thickness, and the number of holes 12 pieces.

Abstract

The functions of a website are very strategic, such as a tool to promote goods and services, display information, and share files or images. In addition, a website is also needed in providing online services to its users, especially during the current pandemic. Because of its very strategic function, many studies have been carried out to measure website user satisfaction using the Webqual model. This study aimed to conduct a literature review on the application of the Webqual model in Indonesia between 2016 and 2020. This study identified the type of website being measured, the data processing techniques used and analyzed the findings. The results of this study indicated that the Webqual model as a measuring tool for website quality could find dimensions and attributes that were positively or negatively correlated with user satisfaction, which could be used as a benchmark in evaluating the quality of the website.

Abstract

This study implemented the improvement of the network learning method, that is, the development of the Incremental Radial Basis Function (IRBF) network with the data used in this study was facial data. The classification of data on facial data was strongly influenced by the characteristics of the data, so that it affected the success of data recognition. This study showed that the percentage of learning success using the Radial Basis Function method, the learning data succeeded in identifying the classification of facial data with an average trial result of 99.45%. The identification of facial data learning with Incremental Radial Basis Function Development was 99.45% on learning data. In addition, the data for testing trials gained an increase in data with the average test results from 89.44% in the RBF method to 90.55% in the Modified Gaussian Incremental Radial Basis Function (MGIRBF) method. The method of developing the Incremental Radial Basis Function with a modified gaussian in this research was applied as a development after applying the Radial Basis Function method by prioritizing optimization by applying the characteristics of the Incremental Radial Basis Function method.

Abstract

The principle of the zoning system, which regulates regional zones for prospective students, is to bring the student's domicile closer to the school, where zoning is determined at every level by the Regional Government following its authority. In implementing zoning, it is important to pay attention to the amount of available capacity according to the availability of the number of school-age children at each level in the area. Depok City has 13 public high schools spread over 11 sub-districts that can accommodate 3,858 junior high school graduates. This became disproportionate to the number of outputs or junior high school graduates who were more than the available capacity. Based on the use of LBS technology, it was hoped that it would be easier to obtain information on the distance from the user's domicile to the destination school, where in the Depok there are 13 State Senior High Schools that are the reference. In designing the Location Based Services (LBS) application, SMAN Depok City used case diagrams, navigation structure designs, storyboards and database designs. The page design and database design results were expected to be used as a guide for programmers in making applications.

Abstract

In recent years, the use of the Web to quickly and efficiently run behavioral and social experiments has grown in popularity. However, there are still revenue differences related to the use of the Web for animation and multimedia. The analysis and accuracy of the use of web technology have been widely studied to update evidence on the accuracy and precession of presenting animation using the Web, as well as expanding research related to accuracy and precision in the presentation of multimedia and animation based on HTML5 technology, especially the use of scalable vector graphics (SVG). Presentation of visual content using web technology can be accepted with increasing accuracy and precision, although this technology needs consideration in some cases in its use. Accuracy and precision using CSS technology which is part of HTML, are the best alternatives for animation. The animation interval is above 50 milliseconds based on test results, while testing using SVG also shows results that are not much different from using CSS in animation. The performance of procedural web technology with HTML5 standards (CSS, SVG, and WebGL) is not much different from the analyzed web technology, with an average missed frame between 0.06 and 1.50 with a standard deviation between 0.252 and 1.055. This technology is becoming the standard and has a promising future, making its use more advisable than other technologies on the decline.

Abstract

The Child-Friendly City web-based reporting and monitoring information system was implemented at the end of 2018 in Depok City. Through the web address, http://kla.depok.id Child-Friendly City cadres could report activities of child-friendly city forums based on five clusters and 29 indicators. The public could find information on Depok City as well as a child-friendly city. After three years of implementation, evaluation was necessary to ensure that the information system operates according to the initial design. This study aimed to evaluate the success of the monitoring and reporting information system for the Child-Friendly City of Depok. The evaluation was done by looking at the gap between the initial design of the system and the reality of the system's current state. The evaluation method was a gap analysis using a design-reality gap model consisting of 7 dimensions of Information, Technology, Process, Goals and Values, Staff placement and skills, management systems and structures, and other resources (ITPOSMO). The evaluation results showed that the information system failed partially. A recommendation for improvement was proposed so that Child-Friendly Cities' reporting and monitoring information system does not fail miserably. This recommendation aimed to make the reporting and monitoring process for the child-friendly city of Depok more effective.
