Alhadharah: Jurnal Ilmu Dakwah promotes normative and empirical inquiry into dakwah and communication. The journal publishes articles in communication and broadcasting Islam, dakwah and media, Islamic counseling, dakwah management, and philosophy of dakwah, as well as articles that approach the role of dakwah in media and society from a historical, psychological, sociological, or anthropological standpoint.

<![CDATA[One of the basic substative content of the Qur'an is the the story of the past as a form of dakwah methods of the Qur'an to mankind. Among the story is about the Apostles of Ulul 'Azmi. They were included Noah, Moses, Abraham, Isa, and the Muhammad. They were all prophets and messengers who faced the strong challenges and opposition from their people, but thanks to their courage and patience they remained strong and continued to fight for the sake of upholding the Tawheed on this earth. Their character should be followed by every person who wants to take part in the field of dakwah and concentrate on calling people to the religion of Allah.]]>

But not all individuals receive Islamic guidance and counseling services, due to limited manpower, time and funds. In Islam guidance must be a shared responsibility, to achieve the happiness of the world and the hereafter. <![CDATA[Since the global challenges of da’wah getting more and complex, it is necessary for the preachers to understand strategic steps to consider before doing da’wah. Including in Indonesia as a country that has so many diversity of etnicities, tribes, languages, religions and cultures. Realizing an atmosphere of harmony in Indonesian society requires the togetherness of various community parties, including preachers who bear the responsibility for reflects the values of Islam as rahmatan li al-‘alamin. This paper mainly focused on how do da’wah that can be applied in Indonesia as a nation unity in diversity (Bhinneka Tunggal Ika) in order to building peace facing the disruption era. Regarding to the disruption era, the da’wah approach will require changes and adjustment, both regarding the form, media, content (message) and underlying paradigm. The author offers some strategies, there are strengthening family, fostering common perceptions among community groups by strengthening universal values and developing an information system that is able to reach people widely and foster effective and harmonious communication. Of course, this writing accompanied by hope that there will be an effort to elaborate it systematically in the future.]]>

<![CDATA[Baayun Maulud is a traditional form of communication in society Banua Halat Tapin district. Formerly from the culture of religious people Keharingan is called the Baayun Children. Then, through a process of Islamization by religious leaders, Now Baayun Children called Baayun Maulud. The purpose of this research was determine and describe the meaning which is contained of Baayun Maulud society Banua Halat Tapin district. The research approach used in this study was qualitative approach, with etnography of communication as the method and descriptive as the type. The data were obtained from observation, interview and documentation. The result of this study showed that Baayun Maulud in Banua Halat society implies the goodness in living a wide variety of life. Baayun Maulud also interpreted as a form of gratitude to the God, nowaday Baayun Maulud not only for childrens but various circle, expecially parents who have nazar. Aside from being nazar Baayun Maulud in Banua Halat society also used as a medium to tighten silaturrahmi.]]>

<![CDATA[The phenomenon of 2018 regional elections can be seen in the selection of candidate pairs, party coalitions, and the delivery of political messages conveyed by political parties and candidate pairs, which have given birth to a variety of maneuvers, rivalries in the formulation of political strategies to support or subdue each other. This communication constellation has shaped the dynamics of Pilkada political communication in Indonesia. Of the 171 regions that held elections, 16 of them had a single candidate whose average candidate pair was supported by 6 to 12 political parties. The phenomenon of mutually changing pairs of candidates or revoking support has become a public concern in the elections. This can be caused by unfulfilled supporting requirements, lobbying from other parties, low electability, legal cases, and political dowry. The role of the mass media in Pilkada is very good, because the mass media has become an independent and transparent party, the news related to the Pilkada is published based on facts and data, it does not appear that mass media "fry" the issues so that the condition of the community is more conducive and the elections run safely.]]>

<![CDATA[There is a statement that we are experiencing a crisis of leadership that led to the crisis of confidence, both to certain institutions and individuals. It leads to a moral decadence and degradation. Social reality proves the number of murders in cold blood, caused by trivial issues or because they do not want to be responsible for their amoral behavior. These events involve Muslims as the majority of people in this country, both as victims even as the culprit. This is a challenge to dakwah, which makes preachers as a central point. Therefore, this article is presented to provide an overview of the role of preachers in making their daily lives as role models for the surrounding community in which they talk or interact. In Islamic term, it is called Uswah hasanah.Ada pernyataan bahwa kita mengalami krisis kepemimpinan yang membawa pada krisis kepercayaan, baik terhadap lembaga tertentu maupun perorangan. Muaranya adalah dekadensi dan degradasi moral. Realitas sosial membuktikan banyaknya terjadi pembunuhan dengan sadis, yang disebabkan persoalan sepele atau karena tidak mau bertanggung jawab atas prilaku a moral mereka. Eronisnya kejadiankejadian tersebut banyak melibatkan umat Islam sebagai umat mayoritas di negara ini, baik sebagai korban bahkan sebagai pelakunya. Hal ini menjadi tantangan dakwah Islamiyah, yang menjadikan Da’i sebagai titik sentralnya. Oleh karena ini tulisan ini dihadirkan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang peran da’i dalam menjadikan kehidupan kesehariannya sebagai contoh teladan bagi masyarakat sekitarnya dimana dia menyampaikan atau berinteraksi. Dalam term agama disebut Uswah hasanah.]]>

Students preaching motives high achievement, seen from the characteristics of achievement motivation that appears on the student to preach them, is always oriented to the results with a high motivation to achieve goals and meet the standards that materialized from the desire and the spirit of a student to be able to preach with a focus the result of the delivery of propaganda, is able to set challenging goals and take calculated risks with the study material of propaganda and specify the audience or participant teachings, seek as much information in order to reduce uncertainty and find a better way and continue to learn, have a strong desire to produce something betterMotif berprestasi mahasiswa berdakwah berdasarkan perspektif psikologi menunjukkan kemampuan dalam mengintegrasikan pola pemikiran dan perilaku yang sinergis. <![CDATA[Batatamba is a local wisdom that has unique characteristics that are passed from generation to generation. The focus of this research is batatambah ritual against magical diseases that are believed by Banjarese people to be caused by the spirits from the unseen world. The findings of this study indicate that there has been a dialectics between Islam and culture in the tradition of batatamba. Their acculturation is beneficial and there was no tension or harm in the process. Therefore, there is a harmony between the two; Islam gives color or spirit to the culture, while culture provides a wealth of understanding for the religion as can be observed from Banjarese people life]]>
