Madiun Spoor (JPM) merupakan media untuk menyebarluaskan dan mendiseminasikan konsep pemikiran, ide dan gagasan serta hasil penelitian yang telah dicapai untuk pengabdian/pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Madiun Spoor JPM fokus pada masalah utama dalam hal penerapan keilmuan dan teknologi untuk pengabdian/pelayanan masyarakat sebagai berikut: Layanan Masyarakat dan Keselamatan Transportasi; Pelatihan, Sosialisasi dan Bimbingan Teknis; Penerapan Teknologi Tepat Guna, Desain, Rancang Bangun dan Purwarupa; Pemberdayaan Masyarakat; Konektivitas dan Pembangunan Transportasi Berkelanjutan. Madiun Spoor (JPM) diterbitkan 2 kali dalam setahun pada bulan April dan November.

<![CDATA[The development of technology today is very much needed, especially knowledge of computers. Expertise in the computer field, namely expertise in the field of hardware (hardware) and software (software). The usability of software is very important to help human work become faster and more efficient. One of the software that can help ease in making simulations in the field of computer electronics is the Electronic Work Bench (EWB). Electronic work bench is one of the electronic computer software that can be used to simulate an electronic circuit both analog and digital. The purpose of this community service activity is that participants can operate electronic work bench software as tools to solve problems in the environment where participants are located. This activity was held on 28-29 July 2022 and was attended by 20 residents of Bangil. The implementation method is carried out in 3 stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. The results obtained from this activity are that participants can increase their basic knowledge and improve their operating skills on electronic work bench software.]]>

<![CDATA[The implementation of this community service aims to increase theunderstanding of railroad crossing gate guards so that they can understandthe importance of slogans and traffic signs. This activity was attended byseveral 24 participants who took part in PJL training in the East Java region. Theactivity was carried out by providing material in the form of learning modulesand direct practice at the Indonesian Railways Polytechnic. To find out theresults of participants' understanding of the material that has been taught, pretest and post-test were given. The results of this activity can improveperformance in the form of understanding the importance of slogans andtraffic signs at railroad crossings to officers who take part in guarding crossinggates.]]>

<![CDATA[The following Community Partnership Program involves an Implementing Team from the Department of Machinery, Banjarmasin State Polytechnic with partners from the Wood Craftsmen Business Unit. Partners are one of the work units of Individually Owned Enterprises (BUMP) with the business name SAEKAYU owned by Mr. Junaidi. Some of the problems currently facing Partners are limited equipment in the production of wood crafts, while the demand is quite high and the number of customers is decreasing due to non-fulfillment of demand. These various problems made the PKM Team follow up on partner problems by establishing cooperation to solve partner problems through the Community Partnership Program (PKM) by making equipment such as cutting tables that were donated to partners. The results of the following PKM activities can produce several things, including: (1) Increase the production of wood crafts; (2) Fulfillment of market demand; (3) increasing the knowledge and expertise of the Implementing Team and Partners in the field of science and technology; (4) improving the community's economy during the Covid-19 pandemic or post-pandemic. <![CDATA[Driving safety is something that must always be worked on together. A culture of discipline and obedience to rules and driving etiquette can help avoid traffic violations that can lead to unwanted events. Traffic accidents can be avoided with a good traffic system and a good understanding of drivers. The purpose of this community service is to provide understanding for Indonesian youth about the importance of driving safety and obeying railway traffic signs. The benefit is to provide awareness and caution in carrying out driving activities on the highway. Based on the community service that has been carried out, it is known that students are able to express their respective opinions and deliberation into active group discussions regarding driving safety and understanding rail traffic signs going well. Students' understanding of driving safety and traffic signs is good, as evidenced by students being able to present the results of the discussion very well and thoroughly.]]>

<![CDATA[Signs are symbols or symbols that function as orders, instructions, prohibitions, and warnings. One of the signs that must be considered in traffic is the signs at railroad crossings. Signs at railroad crossings, especially at level crossings. At level crossings, there are signs whose meaning or purpose is not widely known by the public. The signs are abstract two-lane railroad crossings, warnings not to go on, railroad crossings without gates, and railroad crossings with gates. This socialization was carried out at MTs Negeri 5 Karanganyar. <![CDATA[Train accidents often grace the pages of mainstream media and social media. There are several reasons for the high number of accidents at this level crossing. According to the Public Relations Manager of PT KAI (Persero) Daop 7 Madiun, Ixfan Hendriwintoko, this accident indicated that the driver did not comply with the signs and regulations that were available (Surabaya.liputan6.com, 2020). Socialization through social media is the most effective step to convey information. Including the rules of railway. However, not all accounts have high affordability to netizens. Accounts with many followers and subscribers owned by social media activists have high affordability. Traffic safety will continue to be an important issue. It has even become one of the targets of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). For this reason, increasing understanding of the rules is an effective solution to reduce accidents, especially at level crossings. One of them is through the Socialization of Increased Level Crossing Safety to Social Media Activists in Tulungagung. From the evaluation results showed an increase in the average value of the post test to the pre test. Paired T-test results show a significance value (p-value) or Sig. (2-tailed) is less than (0.05) or 0.000. This means that the average test scores are different before and after socialization. In conclusion, socialization has an impact on the level of understanding of the participants]]>

<![CDATA[This activity aims to increase awareness of traffic order among the millennial generation at railroad crossings through socialization of railway safety. This activity is located in Drono Village, Ngawen District, Klaten Regency, Central Java. The participants of this activity are youth who are members of the Drono Village youth association. The material presented was the law of railroad crossings, signs at railroad crossings, traffic rules at railroad crossings, and legal sanctions for violating the rules at railroad crossings. The method used to convey the material is socialization. Participants stated that this activity had increased their understanding and knowledge of railway safety laws. <![CDATA[Minat masyarakat dalam melakukan kunjungan ke PPI Madiun semakin meningkat khususnya siswa – siswi taman kanak – kanak (TK). PPI Madiun sebagai sekolah khusus bidang kereta api menjadikan PPI Madiun memiliki daya tarik sebagai tempat untuk kunjungan dalam rangka belajar sambil berwisata. Disamping itu PPI Madiun sebagai perguruan tinggi juga berkewajiban untuk melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat sebagai bentuk tridarma. Oleh karena itu dalam rangka penyambutan siswa – siswi TK yang berkunjung ke PPI Madiun, kegiatan edukasi sekaligus sosialisasi tentang keselamatan perkeretaapian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan memberikan wawasan dalam upaya menurunkan angka kecelakaan di sektor transportasi perkeretaapian. <![CDATA[Kompetensi penjaga pintu perlintasan menjadi salah satu faktor yang menentukan keselamatan perlintasan sebidang antara jalur kereta api dan jalan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi penjaga pintu perlintasan (PJL) tentang kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja dalam upanya peningkatan keselamatan perlintasan sebidang kereta api. Lokasi kegiatan bertempat di kampus Politeknik Perkeretaapian Indonesia Madiun. Peserta kegiatan ini adalah penjaga pintu perlintasan kereta api PT Kereta Api Properti Manajemen (KAPM) sejumlah 24 orang. Materi yang disampaikan yaitu Kesehatan dan Keselaman Kerja (K3). Metode yang digunakan yaitu pendidikan dan pelatihan. Peserta menyatakan kegiatan ini meningkatkan pemahaman dan pengetahuan mereka terkait Kesehatan dan Keselaman Kerja (K3).]]>
