Abstract

The development of information and communication technology increase the accessibility to get information through digital devices. In addition, the spread of Covid-19 in these few years increases the need to use digital devices and applications to expand knowledge and sharpen understanding among students of Islamic universities. However, the spread of hoax information related to religious understanding increases. A lack of basic religious understanding can trigger the spread of excessive hoaxes. This research aims to reveal the urgency of digital literacy and religious understanding, especially for students in Islamic universities. The Method of this research is Library Research. This research shows that digital literacy and religious understanding are essential to minimize the entry of extreme ideas and the spread of hoaxes. Therefore, every student of Islamic university should increase digital literacy skills and religious understanding through other authoritative sources

Abstract

AbstractIn this era of digitisation today people are spoiled for social media. Social media is not only used as a medium of communication and information, but it can be used as a means to preach. Da'wah is not only done by face-to-face with Dai directly, but Da'wah can be done in a way indirectly through the mass media. The mass Media became a great opportunity for the Dai to preach. The purpose of this study describes 1) the optimization of digital media for Da'wah, and 2) The challenge of the challenges of the millennial era. The methods used in this study are qualitative descriptive. The results of this research show that Kopyah Ireng community in optimizing digital media through Da'wah can be done in the first way, spreading the knowledge and instilling confidence in the audience or listeners, second, forming a team Specialized in spreading preaching to social media accounts, third, make websites in which contains community issues, fourth, create content da'wah on social media, such as Youtube, Instagram, and Instagram, 2) in the face The challenge of Da'wah in the millennial era of things done by the community Kopyah Ireng by means of socialize science and the knowledge of science.AbstrakDi era digitalisasi saat ini manusia sudah dimanjakan adanya media sosial. Media sosial tidak hanya digunakan sebagai media komunikasi dan informasi, melainkan dapat digunakan sebagai sarana untuk berdakwah. Dakwah tidak hanya dilakukan dengan cara tatap muka dengan dai secara langsung, melainkan dakwah dapat dilakukan dengan cara tidak langsung melalui di media massa. Media massa menjadi peluang besar bagi para dai untuk berdakwah. Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan 1) optimalisasi media digital untuk dakwah, dan2) tantangan dai dalam menghadapi era milenial. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komunitas kopyah ireng dalam mengoptimalisasikan media digital melalui dakwah dapat dilakukan dengan cara pertama, menyebarkan ilmu dan menanamkan kepercayaan kepada audiens atau pendengar, kedua, membentuk tim khusus dalam menyebarkan dakwah ke akun media sosial, ketiga, membuat website-website yang di dalamnya berisi permasalahan masyarakat, keempat, membuat konten-konten dakwah di media sosial, seperti Youtube, Instagram, dan Instagram, 2) Dalam menghadapi tantangan dakwah di era milenial hal yang dilakukan oleh komunitas kopyah ireng dengan cara memasyarakatkan ilmu dan melogikan ilmu.

Abstract

Earth has a major role in maintaining the balance of the water cycle as an essential element of life. However, humans, as agents who should participate in maintaining the balance, do the opposite. Deforestation, irresponsible mining and littering by humans have disrupted the function of the earth as a water reservoir. Climate change, floods, clean water crises, landslides, droughts and ecosystem damage are the impacts. This article aims to explore the main principles in the Qur'an regarding the essence and urgency of maintaining the balance of the earth's role as a water reservoir. In the perspective of ecological interpretation, there are ethical-theological principles in the management of natural resources offered by the Qur'an, namely: First, the principle of al 'adalah is (does not apply persecution to nature and the environment). Second, the principle of al-tawâzun (maintaining the balance of the functions of nature and the environment). Third, the principle of al-intifa’ dûn al-fasad (taking benefits without destroying). Fourth, the principle of al-ri'âyah dûn al-isrâf (use while maintaining and caring for). Fifth, the principle of al-tahdits wa al-istikhlaf (renewal of natural resources that are indeed possible to be renewed). Bumi memiliki peran utama dalam menjaga keseimbangan siklus air sebagai unsur esensial kehidupan. Meskipun demikian, manusia sebagai sebagai agen yang seharusnya turut memelihara keseimbangan itu melakukan tindakan yang sebaliknya. Penggundulan hutan, penambangan tidak bertanggung jawab dan buang sampah sembarangan yang dilakukan manusi menyebabkan fungsi bumi sebagai reservoir air menjadi terganggu. Perubahan iklim, banjir, krisis air bersih, tanah longsor, kekeringan dan kerusakan ekosistem menjadi dampaknya. Artikel ini bertujuan menggali prinsip-prinsip utama dalam Al Qur’an tentang esensi dan urgensi pemeliharaan keseimbangan peran bumi sebagai reservoir air. Dalam perspektif tafsir ekologi, ada prinsip-prinsip etis-teologis dalam pengelolaan sumber daya alam yang ditawarkan al-Qur’an, yaitu: Pertama, prinsip al ‘adalah (tidak berlaku aniaya terhadap alam dan lingkungan). Kedua, prinsip al-tawâzun (menjaga keseimbangan fungsi alam dan lingkungan). Ketiga, prinsip al- intifa’ dûn al-fasad (mengambil manfaat tanpa merusak). Keempat, prinsip al-ri’âyah dûn al-isrâf (mamanfaatkan sembari memelihara dan merawat). Kelima, prinsip al-tahdits wa al-istikhlaf (pembaharuan sumber daya alam yang memang memungkinkan untuk diperbaharui).

Abstract

Abstract: This article takes readers to the Village of Gatak in Central Java to see the tolerance of its multi-faith residents. The author interviewed the village figures, including the village head, religious leaders and the youth to understand the values that support a harmonious social life. She also observed activities that involve villagers regardless of their religions, including, the celebrations of religious holidays. The case of the Village of Gatak shows that tolerance develops with the support of some factors. For example, religious leaders hold and disseminate religious arguments for tolerance. Village leaders lead by examples in cultivating harmony within the community. Members of the community themselves must realize that they need others in life and that they need to respect others if they want peace. The lesson from the Village of Gatak affirms similar findings from other places in Indonesia on tolerance by previous researchers.  Abstrak: Artikel ini mengajak pembaca mengunjungi Desa Gatak, di Jawa Tengah untuk melihat toleransi masyarakatnya yang multi-agama. Penulis mewawancarai tokoh-tokoh masyarakat, agama dan pemuda untuk menggali nilai-nilai yang melandasi kehidupan sosial yang rukun. Dia juga mengobservasi kegiatan-kegiatan yang melibatkan semua warga desa tanpa membeda-bedakan agamanya, terutama di perayaan hari besar nasional dan hari besar keagamaan. Berdasarkan penelitian lapangan di Desa Gatak, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa toleransi bisa dibangun jika sejumlah aspek mendukung. Misalnya, argumen keagamaan yang mendukung tolerasi dipegang oleh pemuka-pemuka agama dan disebarkan kepada masyarakat. Keteladanan dari tokoh-tokoh masyarakat yang selalu berupaya menciptakan kerukunan di antara warganya. Masyarakatnya sendiri harus menyadari bahwa mereka perlu orang lain dalam hidup dan perlu menghormati orang lain jika ingin kedamaian. Pelajaran dari Desa Gatak mengafirmasi sejumlah temuan dari wilayah lain oleh peneliti-peneliti lainnya.

Abstract

Madrasah and pondok pesantren as institution of islamic education a lot of using the coventional system. While this time, they are required to be ready confront the opportunities and challenge of industry era 4.0 in education. Therefore, needed efforts right and antisipative to minimize negative effects about institution of islamic education. This article are write to know efforts right done of madrasah and pondok pesantren in the address as well as harness the opportunities and challenge of industry era 4.0 by applying descriptive qualitative method and doing research to some references and literatures for researching data are needed. The result is the opportunities industry revolution 4.0 is the advances in technology that generates innovation that facilitate the learning process in the classroom and activities that took place in islamic educational institution, while the challenge is the rise of disruptive innovation who had managed to shift lifestyle and mindset of world people, like using e-book for replacing function of book. As for the deal is: 1) modifiy curriculum and learning according needs and technological developments; 2) increase in the ability and skill of students for competitive output; 3) strengthen the value of culture and the character of national anthem is integrated. These things are expected to keep the existance of madrasah and pondok pesantren in order to produce output competitive in the era of industry revolution 4.0.

Abstract

Abstract: Pancasila has been placed in opposition with Islam recently. This view is ahistorical and does not reflect sound understanding of Islamic teachings. This article re-affirms the argument to accept Pancasila as the state foundation. I combine historical data and reading of Islamic doctrines that emphasize the compatibility of the values of Pancasila and the values of Islam, also practices of Muslims in Nusantara. The implementation of the values of Pancasila will cultivate Islam ala Indonesia, which is friendly towards other ethnic groups, nations and religions, and will facilitate co-existence within diversity.Abstrak: Pancasila kembali dihadap-hadapkan dengan Islam dalam beberapa waktu terakhir. Pandangan ini sebenarnya ahistoris dan tidak mencerminkan pemahaman akan ajaran Islam. Artikel ini menegaskan kembali argumen penerimaan Pancasila sebagai dasar negara. Saya akan memadukan antara data sejarah dan pemahaman akan doktrin agama yang menekankan kesesuaian antara nilai-nilai Pancasila dan nilai-nilai Islam serta praktik Muslim di Nusantara. Saking sesuainya antara kedua hal itu, pengamalan nilai-nilai Pancasila akan memupuk tumbuh suburnya Islam ala Indonesia yang ramah bagi semua suku, bangsa dan agama lainnya serta terwujudnya suatu bangsa yang hidup bersama secara harmonis dan sejahtera dalam keragaman.

Abstract

Since the early 2020, the pandemic Covid-19 has devastated effects towards the society, ecosystem and the world itself. This leads to the major interruption of education system where the academic world is forced into a virtual learning experience. Consequently, the digital way of teaching and learning has become mandatory for each level of education especially the higher education institutions in order to prevent community transmission among themselves and to protect their health and safety.Thus, it is very significant for both academicians and students to adapt to virtual teaching and learning in order to perform well and sustain in the education system. In light of this paper, the impact of the pandemic towards the education system which leads to the issue of ‘new normal’ will be analyses in conjunction with the rapidly changing education environment through the usage of technology. Moreover, it is discovered that the higher education institutions are require to obtain knowledge through virtual learning. In order to produce reliable information for this study, the analysis of quantitative and secondary data from reliable sources regarding the following issue has been conducted. The study conducted an online questionnaire to 150 samples of local higher institution students to observe the challenges occur during virtual learning. Hence, this consider as the responsibility of the relevant authorities to address this issue. Nevertheless, this pandemic has its own wisdom in which a plethora of new things has been discovered along with the new prospects of life. Ultimately, this can be confrontedwith the adaptation of the ‘new normal’ gradually. Hence, it is important for the society to be familiarized with the new environment alongside the expeditiously-paced technology. Therefore, it is crucial for the authorities and higher education institutions to strategize accordingly in order to sustain the quality of the education.

Abstract

AbstractThe issues of discrimination against women are not new in the history of humanity. It is noted that this discrimination has existed since pre-Islamic. One of the most sexist texts that is Q. S. Ali Imran: 34 that places women as world jewelry for men without seeing the position of man in women's eyes. The qira 'ah mubadalah notion of giving a fresh breeze to sexist interpretations and making  new  offers  to  interpretation  styles  in  particular  that  are  meant  to  be  meant  for  one  subject  only.  With  the mubadalah’s perspecgiee or ghe reciprocigç’s principle, ghe ingerpregagion of Ali Imran: 14 resnlgs in geo cengral ideas, (1) both have the same possibility as being "temptation" to one another, (2) both have to keep themselves from the temptations of the world. This paper is trying to apply the mubadalah theory to Ali Imran :14 in the attempt of the new tafsir and gender-fair application.AbstrakIsu-isu diskriminasi terhadap perempuan bukanlah hal baru yang muncul dalam sejarah kemanusiaan. Tercatat bahwa diskriminasi  ini  telah  muncul  sejak  zaman  pra-Islam.  Islam  yang  rahmatan  li  al-alamin  melalui  pesan  al-Qnr’an memberikan nafas baru bagi perempuan untuk lebih leluasa menyuarakan hak-haknya yang sebelumnya termarginalkan. Pergulatan   kemanusiaan   perempuan   yang   sebelumnya   begitu   kaku   dan   memforsir   kewajiban   perempuan   tanpa memerhatikan  hak-haknya  menjadi  lebih  fleksibel.  Namun  demikian  batu  loncatan  yang dibuat  Islam  tak  serta  merta secara  mutlak. Hal ini terlihat  dari  beberapa ayat-ayat al-Qnr’an çang seolah  menempagkan lelaki sebagai snperiorigas sehingga  sering  muncul  tafsir  yang  terkesan  maskulin.  Aplikasi  tafsir  ini  pun  banyak  yang  telah  masyhur  dan  seolah kembali mengulang diskriminasi terhadap perempuan. Salah satu ayat yang sering ditafsirkan secara seksis adalah Q. S. Ali Imran : 34 yang menempatkan perempuan sebagai perhiasan dunia bagi lelaki tanpa melihat posisi lelaki di mata perempuan. Gagasan qila’ah mjbada1ah memberikan angin segar terhadap penafsiran seksis yang terkesan bias gender dan memberikan tawaran baru terhadap gaya penafsiran khususnya ayat-ayat yang seolah dituju untuk satu subjek saja. Dengan perspektif mubadalah atau prinsip resiprositas, penafsiran terhadap Ali Imran : 14 menghasilkan dua gagasan ingi, (1) kednança memiliki kemnngkinan çang sama menjadi “godaan” sagn sama lain, (2) kednança harns menjaga diri dari  godaan  dunia.  Tulisan  ini  berusaha  mengaplikasikan  teori  mubadalah  terhadap  Ali  Imran  :14  sebagai  upaya aplikasi tafsir yang berkemajuan dan adil gender.

Abstract

Guru Sekumpul, also known as KH. M. Zaini Ghani bin Abdul Ghani, is a charismatic preacher from Sekumpul, Martapura, South Kalimantan, with thousands of followers. Even after his death, the number of haul congregations presents increased year after year. Guru Sekumpul taught many Sufi teachings during his lifetime, one of which was to purify the heart. In addition, he left 13 wills to be used in community life. Given the close proximity of Guru Sekumpul's Sufi teachings to society, this study seeks to discover the value of Sufism contained in the will and its relevance in the context of modern society. This research is a review of the literature using qualitative descriptive analysis. This study demonstrates that the Sufistic value in Guru Sekumpul's will is very relevant to the conditions of modern society, which is complex and spiritually dry. The values contained are moral Sufi values, such as qana'ah, which means being grateful for what one has and not being greedy. given the many cases of corruption; patience in the face of lustful desires for the world, patience in every situation, do not give up in life seeing the many cases that occur due to inability to bear the burden of life; gratitude for all the favors that have been possessed by using it for positive things, and trust in God for all matters in life, including confronting a variety of information that is divisive in society Guru Sekumpul atau KH. M. Zaini Ghani bin Abdul Ghani merupakan ulama kharismatik dari Sekumpul, Martapura Kalimantan Selatan yang memiliki ribuan jama‟ah. Bahkan setelah wafatnya, jama‟ah haul yang hadir terus bertambah setiap tahunnya. Semasa hidupnya Guru Sekumpul banyak mengajarkan ajaran tasawuf salah satunya adalah cara membersihkan hati, ia juga meninggalkan 13 wasiat agar diterapkan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Mengingat bahwa ajaran sufistik Guru Sekumpul yang sangat dekat dengan masyarakat, maka kajian ini ingin menemukan nilai tasawuf yang terkandung dalam wasiat tersebut dan relevansinya dalam konteks kehidupan masyarakat modern. Kajian ini merupakan kajian kepustakaan dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai sufistik dalam wasiat Guru Sekumpul sangatlah relevan dengan kondisi masyarakat modern yang sangat kompleks dan kering spiritual. Nilai yang terkandung adalah nilai-nilai tasawuf akhlaki, diantaranya; qana’ah, yang berarti mensyukuri apa yang dimiliki dan tidak serakah, mengingat banyaknya kasus korupsi; sabar dalam menghadapi keinginan dari nafsu terhadap dunia, sabar dalam setiap keadaan, tidak berputus asa dalam hidup melihat banyaknya kasus yang terjadi karena ketidaksanggupan menanggung beban hidup; syukur atas segala nikmat yang telah dimiliki dengan menggunakannya kepada hal-hal positif, dan tawakkal kepada Allah atas segala urusan dalam hidup termasuk menghadapi berbagai informasi yang bersifat memecah belah masyarakat

Abstract

Abstract: The phenomenon of Islamic religious discourse in Indonesia after the reformation is suspected to have experienced radicalism and even extremism. The explosion of terrorism in the name of Islam that has occurred since the reformation until now has made spotlight to the face of Indonesian Islam in the world. In fact, the true Islam in Indonesia is emphasizes the principle of moderate (tawassuth/washatiah) in da'wah. This characteristic of accommodative Islam is a bastion in preventing radical religious ideology. This article uses the epistemological-historical-holisitic approach to examine the concept of Islamic moderation in the context of the Indonesian nation and the shallowness of religious reasoning. As a result, there is not a single strong reference that says that the spread of Islam in the ancient archipelago was in radical ways. The history of Islam in the archipelago has experienced struggles with diverse localities. Islam exists not to break down or cut down existing local traditions and culture, but to try to dialect with the context in Islam exists. Because of its flexible nature, Islam is able to survive and develop so as to emerge a new style of Islam that is unique and does not exist in any part of the world.Keywords: Islamic Moderation, National Fiqih, Radicalism Abstrak: Fenomena wacana keagamaan Islam di Indonesia pasca reformasi ditengarai banyak mengalami radikalisme bahkan ekstrimisme. Ledakan terorisme atas nama Islam yang terjadi pasca reformasi hingga sekarang menjadikan wajah Islam Indonesia mendapat sorotan di dunia. Padahal sejatinya Islam yang ada di Indonesia adalah Islam yang mengedepankan prinsip moderat (tawassuth/washatiah) dalam berdakwah, Karakteristik Islam akomodatif inilah yang menjadi benteng pencegahan faham keagaamaan radikal. Artikel ini dengan menggunakan pendekatan epistemologis-historis-holisitik ingin menelisik konsep moderasi Islam dalam konteks bangsa Indonesia dan kedangkalan nalar beragama. Hasilnya, tak ada satupun referensi kuat yang mengatakan bahwa penyebaran Islam di Nusantara zaman dahulu adalah dengan cara-cara radikal. Sejarah Islam di Nusantara telah mengalami pergumulan dengan lokalitas yang beragam. Islam hadir bukan untuk mendobrak atau membabat habis tradisi dan budaya lokal yang ada, melainkan mencoba untuk berdialektika dengan konteks di mana Islam berada. Oleh karena sifat fleksibelnya itu, Islam mampu bertahan dan berkembang sehingga memunculkan corak keislaman baru yang khas dan tidak ada di belahan dunia manapun.Kata Kunci: Fikih Kebangsaan, Moderasi Islam, Radikalisme Agama
