Abstract

Good communication between the top management of a company and its employees is important, especially in times of crisis. This article attempts to study the communication strategy adopted by the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of Citibank, N.A., Vikram Pandit, in managing the company's internal communications during the 2008-2011 global financial crisis. This study is important to be used as a lesson for academic theorists and corporate practitioners, because, in addition to adding insight and literature on related topics, it can also be used as a reference for managers in practicing strategic communication in companies. This research uses the narrative analysis method to learn strategy employed by the CEO of Citibank, N.A. in communicating with employees around the world. The result of this study is that integrity, transparency, and prioritizing employees are important for companies to get through times of crisis.

Abstract

The existence of Islamic boarding school (pesantren) can’t be separated from the figure of a clerics (kyai)and the communication between clerics and students (santri). Using qualitative research approach, thisstudy aims to to prepare, understand and analyze communication models between clerics and students inPesantren Modern Syamsuddin B. Communication Model between clerics and students in Islamicboarding school is influenced by the concept of Morals, status and charisma of clerics. Moral education is away to establish communication that facilitates management of transfer of knowledge to students. Status andcharisma of clerics are enhancer factor communicator legitimacy in the context of Islamic boarding school. Theresearch concludes that the construction of communications models of clerics and students was formed by high-intensity interactions between clerics and students.

Abstract

In managing data, there are still many institutions that do it manually and are ineffective and efficient. In response to this, the Public Relations Section of the Bekasi City Regional Secretariat created a technology-based application system for the management of e-clippings and data releases belonging to the Public Relations Department, namely Saker Humas. This article aims to find out the function of the Saker Pr public relations website as a medium for public information disclosure. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and literature studies. The results showed that the Saker Humas website has the function of making it easier for employees of the Public Relations Department to find information needed by external parties. The management of the Saker Humas website serves to foster a responsive and informative attitude of the Bekasi City government as part of the functions and duties of the Main PPID carried out by the Public Relations Department regarding public information disclosure.

Abstract

Since the announcement of the COVID-19 pandemic which began in March 2020, the Indonesian government has begun to implement several rules to impose certain restrictions for various groups. Not only the business sector, government to education are not spared from activities that are usually carried out 'mainstream'.It is different with one of the educational institutions or rather an educational consultant named PT Edukasi Universal (Eduversal). Every year, Eduversal always holds special events to be attended by many students from various backgrounds and from various parts of Indonesia. Be it competitions such as the Eduversal Math Competition (EMC), the Indonesian Science Project Olympiad (ISPO), the Indonesian Language and Arts Olympiad (OSEBI), and others. Eduversal certainly needs to implement certain strategies in maximizing the events that have been held every year. Despite the pandemic, the program must be carried out even if it is brave. This is certainly done to maintain customer relations, especially for schools that have been loyal to following the programs at Eduversal.This study used descriptive qualitative method. This method is used to describe the social situation under study by covering aspects of knowledge and skills; processes and procedures; and the selection and development of applied technologies. The research data sources in this qualitative research regarding the Virtual Event strategy to build Customer-Relationship consist of primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained from interviews with research subjects, namely PR PT. Eduversal, as well as other implementers involved in the activities held. The secondary data in this study is the data resulting from the documentation of the researcher's search in participating in the activities that are always held every year. The steps taken in analyzing the data from this research are classification, interpretation and conclusion.

Abstract

Komunikasi merupakan sebuah alat interaksi yang selalu digunakan oleh makhluk hidup mulai dari manusia, hewan dan tumbuhan. Implementasi komunikasi dalam sebuah perusahaan memiliki peran penting seperti menjalin hubungan baik dengan pemangku kepentingan, menyebarkan informasi, menyalurkan ide dan kritik. Public relations merupakan aktivitas pihak yang bertanggung jawab atas jalannya sebuah komunikasi. Selain itu tugas lain seorang public relaions adalah menyusun rencana dan strategi untuk menciptakan opini publik agar perusahaan memiliki citra baik. Perum Perhutani KPH Banten adalah salah satu perusahaan BUMN yang memiliki seorang publik relations dan berada diposisi Divisi Perencanaan Sumberdaya Hutan Dan Pengembangan Bisnis. Dalam pelaksanaan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Untuk menghindari perbedaan pendapat antara pemerintah dengan masyarakat, Perum Perhutani KPH Banten membuat website official. Kata Kunci : Aktivitas, Public Relations, Perum Perhutani KPH Banten
