Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of entrepreneurship courses, income expectations, and entrepreneurial characteristics on entrepreneurial interest. The object of the research was student participants in the Ahmad Dahlan University Accountant concentration class who had taken six courses related to Entrepreneurship. The number of respondents was 53. The results showed that entrepreneurship courses, income expectations, and the characteristics of entrepreneurship explained 37.2% of the factors affecting entrepreneurial interest. Hypothesis testing using the regression test shows the results that college entrepreneurship and income expectations influence the interest in entrepreneurship and the characteristics of entrepreneurship have no effect. This shows that universities have the opportunity to cultivate curriculum related to entrepreneurship. Because there are indications that the interest in entrepreneurship can be grown through entrepreneurship courses.

Abstract

SME products are small and medium scale local industries that must be intensely supported by their development because these local products can raise the standard of living of people in a suburban area of ​​a large or rural city to become an independent community. This study aims to open up a broad view that for SME products it is necessary to carry out extensive sales promotions so that their products can be wellknown and sales can penetrate a wider market. The research conducted is to conduct quantitative research methods, with data collection methods through questionnaires and interviews through respondents as many as 50 online shops in bukalapak.com then the data is processed and analyzed using Pearson Product Moment Correlation (PPM) data analysis techniques to determine how big is the relationship, the Determinant Coefficient to find out the contribution of the X variable to the Y variable and the Significance Test to find out the Meaning of the Relationship in both variables, and linear regression. From the results of this study it was found that the promotion of online media buying and selling sites has a strong relationship and has a high influence on the increase in sales of SME products. Where obtained PPM correlation (relationship) of 0.75 included in the criteria for a strong relationship, and the coefficient of determinant which means that the contribution of variable X to Y has a high or strong influence, and the significance test with interpretation has the meaning of an influential relationship, and with linear regression that is y = 0.5467x - 3.4702.

Abstract

This paper aims to identify the ultimate ownership of public companies that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2014-2017 period. Identification techniques used in this study are: (1) tracking the ownership structure; (2) measuring the level of control; (3) determining the majority ownership, and (4) finding the ‘controlling shareholder’ narrative in the annual report. Based on tim research analyze, this paper found that the ultimate ownership of public companies in Indonesia 2014-2017 was concentrated in the ultimate family owners (54.43%), corporations (31.05%) and the state (7.49%). Beside it, 89.43% of families use the indirect ownership structure (pyramid ownership). In addition, more than 50% of the ultimate family ownership place their family members in the Board of Commissioner (BOC) and Board of Directors (BOD).

Abstract

This research aims to know product quality, service quality, brand image, with satisfaction as intervening variabel toward loyalty. The problem of research is the large amount of batik imports in Indonesia. The sample in this study amounted to 50 users and customers Batik Betawi Terogong products in West Cilandak, South Jakarta. Sampling is done by using Purposive Sampling. This research uses PLS (Partial Least Square). The results of this study showed that product quality variables have significant influence on loyalty but have no significant influence on loyalty through satisfaction. Service quality have no significant influence on loyalty and also have no significant influence on loyalty through satisfaction. Brand image have significant influence on loyalty, but have no significant influence on loyalty through satisfaction and satisfaction have significant influence on loyalty. Therefore it is expected Batik Betawi Terogong can improve product quality, service quality, and brand image and maintain the satisfaction to be created loyalty to customers.

Abstract

Creative economy acts as economic activator and the activities has been growing in the last years. The activities focused on creative ideas. Arts and the related media can be used to enhance creativity. Business Undegraduate program in Prasetiya Mulya University addressing this issue by opening elective course Art Collaborative. This study use qualitative descriptive method and has a purpose to explain the design of the course and to give evaluation for the course. The course is conducted on 2018-2019 academic year. The findings are students have additional knowledge with the combination method of lecturing and workshop during the course. Topics given are also in line with students’ expectation. Evaluation for this course are extending the allocated time for workshop and providing variety of topics. Other important findings are most students expect this course to be continued in the next semester.

Abstract

This descriptive study was conducted to see the relationship between the entrepreneurial capital ownership and the establishment of new startups. Through the subject study entitled Entrepreneurial Capital in Prasetiya Mulya's S1 Business program, student assigned to mapping their entrepreneurial capital, formed group and proposed a startup idea. To answer whether optimization of entrepreneurial capital contributes to success the establishment of new startups, we make a quantitative approach by analyzing the data obtained from the assessment of the final exam business ideas, and entrepreneurial capital of group, as well as qualitative assessments of each aspect of capital entrepreneurship tested. Final assessment shows that 109 groups formed has sufficient entrepreneurial capital to running new startups in 9 selected business fields. The lowest score in the food and beverage business shows that entrepreneurial capital in this area is not difficult. In certain area such as in chemical businesses, more entrepreneurial capital is comprehensively and completely needed. Further study need to do by studying the journey of each group, in completing the final project business project for the next one year.
