Abstract

Mastoiditis is a disease in the form of infection on the back of the human ear, commonly known as the mastoid bone, which generally affects babies aged 6 to 13 months. Mastoiditis can destroy the spine of the human ear and cause hearing loss which can lead to death if not treated in time. This causes parents to first bring their baby to consult a mastoiditis specialist with the aim of obtaining information on the diagnosis of the disease experienced by their baby. The problem that often occurs when parents consult a specialist is the inefficient time to consult a specialist due to limited time and a large queue of patients, so that specialist doctors cannot always serve all patients who come for consultation. In overcoming the problems with the diagnosis of mastoiditis described above, the authors assess that a diagnostic aid based on information technology is needed in the form of an expert system with an effort to provide mastoiditis diagnosis information. Therefore in this study, designing an expert system for diagnosing mastoiditis by applying the variable centered intelligent rule system (VCIRS) method and the naïve Bayes method. This research is expected to provide positive benefits to an expert and also to people who are generally not familiar with the specifics of mastoiditis which is commonly referred to as mastoid

Abstract

Diphtheria is now common among the general public, especially children who are very susceptible to various diseases. Diphtheria disease can cause death to anyone if it is not immediately treated medically. The spread of diphtheria is caused by corynebacterium bacteria through the air or physical contact by the sufferer. There are several early symptoms that can be recognized such as fever accompanied by chills, nasal congestion or a runny nose, but these symptoms are almost the same as the symptoms of tonsillitis, which also has the same symptoms as diphtheria. Apart from the symptoms caused by diphtheria there are also several factors that affect the disease such as; lack of maintenance of environmental cleanliness, wrong food intake, lack of nutritious food and so on. This is what causes the medical team to have difficulty diagnosing diphtheria in children. Therefore, the authors use an expert system by applying the certainty factor method to diagnose diphtheria. Through the application of this method is expected to be able to provide diagnosis of diphtheria and provide definite information about the possibility of a patient being diagnosed with diphtheria according to experts

Abstract

Technology that is developing in the world is also developed by a technology that is able to deal with the process and way of thinking of humans. Everyone who is specific uses an expert system. In this case, it is a health problem regarding the disease Henoch-Henochein purpura (HSP) Henoch Henochein purpura is an inflammatory disease hymen on the skin, intestinal joints and kidneys that can cause red or purple spaces on the skin. This space is usually found in the lower limbs or bongko, and the number is usually concurrent or large. An expert system can be interpreted as a system that adopts human knowledge into a computer, so that the computer can solve problems as is done by experts, so that the expert system can help experts in solving a problem. The benefits the writer wants to achieve in this study is to help make the expert become younger. To diagnose the disease caused by Henoch Henochein purpura and give contribution to the development of information technology, especially expert systems using the Adptive Neuro Fizzy inference system method.

Abstract

Hydroponics is a method of farming that does not use soil as a planting medium, but only uses water that contains nutrients needed by plants. Meanwhile, hydroponic vegetables are horticultural commodities that are starting to be in great demand and being developed in the agricultural sector today. The specialty of hydroponic vegetables itself is that the quality produced is fresher, and cleaner than conventional vegetables. One of the success factors of planting with the hydroponic method is how to maintain and care for the grown vegetables so that they can be harvested with good results and not rot. Water circulation and nutrition must be carried out periodically and should not be excessive or deficient. However, if the plant owner is not there, the watering process and nutrition will be hampered. For this reason, a tool was designed to be able to help the process of watering, checking temperature and providing nutrition by combining the Arduino-uno's capabilities as a data acquisition system equipped with an ethernet shield for sending data via the internet network, DHT11 sensors to read temperature and humidity, special Android application Blynk as monitoring aids, and RTC for real time timing. The Arduino-Uno is also connected to a relay to regulate the ignition of the sprinkler pump or water circulator. Based on the tests conducted, it was found that each module can work properly according to its function. With the quality of the network according to the test (the average delay to the blynk server is 1242ms, the process of sending orders and executing water sprinkling and sending environmental data takes about 1-5 seconds.

Abstract

Data Mining is a series of processes to explore added value in the form of knowledge that has not been known manually from a data set. There are 5 (five) attributes used in this study, namely: Value, Attendance, Semester, Parents' Income (PO), and Number of Dependent Parents (JTO). Based on data processing using Rapid Miner 5.3.0.0 software, an accuracy value of 92.70% is obtained, meaning that the resulting rule is close to 100% correct. Where the results of the feasible precision label class are 92.05% and the inappropriate label is 93.24%. In accordance with these provisions, the results of manual calculations by Rapid Miner testing produce 9 models of rules or rules for Scholarship Recipients. This means that the results of the process carried out by researchers on the calculation of the C4.5 Algorithm and Rapidminer obtained the same and appropriate results. So that testing with Rapid Miner can be said to be successful and can find a decision tree in the case of Scholarship recipients.

Abstract

Data Mining is a series of processes to explore added value in the form of knowledge that has not been known manually from a data set. This grouping aims to determine the level of student success in the learning process that has been carried out. The approach used is quantitative. The subjects of this grouping are Class X (Ten) Academic Years 2018 to 2020. The data collection technique used is the learning outcome test. This grouping is done using Data Mining Rapid Miner 5.3 software, where the results will prove that the results of the evaluation of learning achievement are carried out by applying the C4.5 Algorithm. The results obtained are an accuracy value of 71.43%, meaning that the resulting rule is close to 100% correctness. Where the results of the Class Achieving precision label is 63.89% and the label Not Achieving is 92.31%. Abstract

Face is one of the easiest physiological measures and is often used to distinguish individual identities from one another. Humans can distinguish faces from one person to another and remember someone's face quickly and easily. To read the characteristics of a face, a reader is needed, a database capable of storing facial pattern data and of course software that can analyze the data. Therefore, the method used in detecting faces is Fisherfaces, which is a new method of facial recognition. The advantage of using this method is that the processing time is relatively short / fast. This is because the fisherfaces process uses a process in the form of a matrix, making it suitable to be applied to systems that require real-time processing. But this method also has a drawback, namely that it requires a lot of templates so that the results of the introduction will be more accurate and optimal. Thus, achieving the maximum results from this research is certainly done with great effort. By using an online service, a web spreadsheet application on the www.think-maths.co.uk site that can convert digital images into pixels in the form of .xls format in the excel application

Abstract

The problems faced at PT. PP. London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk, Bagerpang Palm Oil Mill, is that there are still errors in the grouping of the liquid waste which have a bad impact and cause environmental damage and disrupt activities around the company. One way to process the data is to apply or use data mining techniques. Where data mining is the process of analyzing large data into information to determine the pattern of the conclusions of the data being analyzed. The application of the C.45 algorithm which later will explore existing data and will form a decision tree, where this decision tree will later help the company to know the grouping and processing of the liquid waste so as not to have a bad impact on the surrounding company

Abstract

In today's technological developments, information can be quickly found through increasingly rapidly developing technologies, such as the internet. Many people have files or data that they want to save into online applications. However, the large size of the data results in waste in the use of storage media and the process of sending data. To save those two things, data compression is needed. Data compression is the process of reducing the size of a data to produce a digital representation that is dense or compact but can still represent the quantity of information contained in the data. There are so many algorithms to compress existing data, but none of these algorithms is optimal in compressing text data. This research was conducted to reduce a file size before uploading it to the application using the VLBE (Variable Length Binary Encoding) algorithm. Variable Length Binary Encoding Algorithm is a data compression algorithm that encodes each character by sorting the characters by frequency and sorting stably to form a series of bits. The advantage of this VLBE algorithm is that the variable-length code can allow the source to be compressed with zero error and can be read back by Solomon symbols.

Chicken farmers are currently having difficulty in determining the temperature to hatch chicken eggs because breeders only rely on the hen as the egg incubator. The DHT11 sensor is a sensor for reading the temperature and the ideal temperature for hatching chicken eggs is 37-39, the incubator automatically uses an incandescent lamp as its warmer and uses the DHT 11 sensor as a temperature and humidity incubator, and Ardunio Uno R3 as its microcontroller, incubator hatching chicken eggs work incandescent light bulbs will heat the room in an incubator and if it is already hot the DHT 11 sensor will read the incubator's temperature and humidity and will open through the LCD and if there is already a DHT11 sensor will be sent to the sensor relay to be sent incandescent lamps
