Abstract

This study aims to provide an understanding of the stages of developing companion book media in solving problems that occur in early literacy. Education in the 2013 curriculum requires an integrated thematic concept of education. Integrated thematic learning was chosen because it has the advantage that it can make learning more meaningful. Meaningful learning must also be supported by good and correct media. The most appropriate media at the elementary school level is media that is able to present good visuals and is easily understood by students in the age range of 6-12 years, so that book media can be the choice of companion for the 2013 curriculum. Development of the 2013 curriculum companion book media instrument using the ADDIE Model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementatian, Evaluation). The stages that will be passed according to the model, among others: at the Analysis stage, an analysis and description of attitude values will be carried out, at the Design stage, a prototype of the book media will be made, at the Development stage the book media will be made as well as the refinement of the book. In the previous prototype, at the Implementation stage, they started using book media to students, while at the Evaluation stage, it was carried out to measure the level of effectiveness of using book media for students.

Abstract

Lontar Text is one of the relics that is loaded with noble values that need to be preserved and disseminated so that it can be used as a guide to living both in social life and religious life. Various ejection are published with the aim to more easily convey the teachings of Hinduism to the public to improve Sraddha and Bhakti, one of which is the ejection of Gaguritan Garuda Nebus Biyang which can be used as an effort to internalize values in basic education. The educational values contained in the ejection of Gaguritan Garuda Nebus Biyang which can be used as an effort to internalize values in basic education are the values of honesty, the value of loyalty, and moral values. The value of honesty is shown by the Garuda when he brings tirta amerta without trying or touching it first; the value of loyalty could be demonstrated by the Kadru when he kept his words freeing the Winata from his culture if the Garuda succeeded in bringing the tirta amerta before him; while moral values can also be seen in the character of the Garuda, which is devoted to parents, shown by the Garuda who is valiant and unyielding to get a tirta amerta. Keywords:  Geguritan Garuda Nebus Biyang Text, Valuation Internalization, Basic Education

Abstract

Basically, education is an effort to develop a student’s potential optimally. Character education shapes a child's personality, in order to be better humans and better citizens, so that it is able anticipating moral degradation and have a role in the development of the younger generation. The young generation is the future hope of a country, so the young generation must has a strong character in social life. Character building is an attempt by someone to create his personal character to become a useful person for himself and surrounding. Character education must be built from an early age to make a better future. Social studies learning is really needed in shaping the character of the younger generation, where the role of social studies learning is to develop student’s knowledge, understanding, and analytical skills towards social conditions of the community. The main problem is not yet formed character of students in schools because social studies learning is still at the theory level. Abstract

Higher education actors are required to anticipate various development dynamics and are expected to be able to adapt various programs and academic activities in line with the new paradigm in welcoming future-minded education, namely, a process that can give birth to individuals (students) who are armed with knowledge, skills, and abilities. and values that are needed to live and take part in the era of globalization. This condition forces teachers to immediately and quickly have the qualifications and competencies in order to provide optimal services to the educational community so that they are expected to be able to produce competent graduates. Teacher professional development is a basic need. In this regard, an educator should master the characteristics of students who are taught in depth with a variety of characters and approaches, master the field of source science (teaching materials), in terms of discriminatory content and pedagogical content, master a learning approach that educates and is self-reliant both concerning the design, as well as its implementation, as well as developing professional skills in a sustainable and varied manner

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has revolutionized the learning implementation system which was initially implemented face-to-face and turned into online learning. The strategy for implementing science practicum in elementary schools in this study is carried out by applying an innovative learning model, namely project based learning with a scientific approach that is able to develop 21st century learning skills, namely critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity. Examples of the implementation of elementary science practicum with the application of project based learning, namely the content of elementary school science lessons in class V semester II, Theme 7 (Events in Life), Sub-theme 1 (National Events of the Colonial Period), in learning 1, 2 and 5. The strategy for implementing natural science practicum in elementary schools is expected to be able to increase student interest, skills, and independence in learning and reduce student boredom in online learning which seems monotonous.Keywords: project based learning, science practicum in elementary schools

Abstract

Education is a process of humanization (humanizing humans). This means that education should be able to help students to achieve physical and spiritual maturity and maturity. Character education must be carried out continuously, internalized character values in every lesson content learned by students, character values cannot be captured by students or just taught but students must learn by themselves (students are actively involved in the process learning) and the process of implementing character education must involve students actively. Emotional intelligence is a social intelligence that is related to a person's ability to know their own emotions well and those of others and their ability to distinguish their emotions from others, where this ability is used to regulate their thought patterns and behavior.  Keywords: Emotional Intelligence and Character Education

Abstract

In essence, the learning model is an essential part of the learning process. The learning model is a whole series of teaching course beginning to end. Selection of the learning model requires consideration to be applied to learners. The jigsaw model is a cooperative model of learning that encourages students into a heterogeneous small group. A heterogeneous group is a study group made up of a mixed student, both sexes, races, religions, and different learning abilities. The model of jigsaw study implicates a learning process that can enhance students activation and creativity in establishing their opinions of the group. Abstract

Culture is often said to be a process or result of human creativity, taste, and initiative in an effort to answer the challenges of life from the natural surroundings. Culture will always be born accompanying the existence of the community itself. It is born and exists as an expression of self and the life of a human community that is being and will be experienced based on the context of society and its natural surroundings. Tradition is an important foundation in expressing oneself and life. Hefner (1985: 38), asserts, that the term adat itself has various regional uses. Indigenous diversity is a symbol of cultural differences, and most ethnic communities often justify adat as the source of their distinctive identity. Therefore, it becomes something that is quite firmly rooted in the personality system of the community in question. For example, areas in Bali that have unique traditions include Tabanan, with the nyentana cultural tradition, for example, indicating the characteristics and character of the Tabanan people who view gender equality as an essential right. Tenganan with the pandanus war tradition, is a hereditary tradition where each participant holds a pandanus and attacks his opponent by swiping the thorny pandanus on his opponent's body, especially on the back. Culture as a complex collection of customs has a tendency to defend itself. It can only reincarnate itself by influencing certain distinctive changes in the original and original structure of its members. This is what J. Dewey said in "Culture and Freedom" (1998), that the special strength of Javanese culture is its ability to survive, even though it is flooded by cultural waves that come from outside. Abstract

The point is that a person has a sense, a conscience that must be developed to be able to govern himself or herself and to interact with others. Pedagogic competence is the ability of a teacher in processing the learning process of learners. In addition, pedagogic skills are also shown in helping, guiding, and leading learners who can implicitly cultivate the soft skills of learners. A teacher is able to master the characteristics of learners, master the theory of learning, utilize information technology in learning, and perform reflective actions to improve the quality of learning and provide intrapersonal and interpersonal abilities so that mature personalities are formed in learning. In summary Intrapersonal skills include Self a wareness and Self skill, while interpersonal skills include social a wareness and social skills. Abstract

This research is a qualitative research. The data obtained through the interview process. The results showed that the objective of education aims to provide values and norms to an individual that will guide his behavior. However, nowadays children and adolescents are facing a problem that is called spirituality crisis. We regularly see crimes committed by them, such as; robbery, gambling, brawls between schools, murder, drug addiction and others. This is due to inexistence of balance between religiousity values in the individual itself and with the future progress that moving forward continuously. The higher IQ that people have, the more they will experts in intellectual fields, likewise EQ. It has important role in building effective human relationships. Meanwhile, SQ serves to transform spiritual values such as honesty, compassion, justice, honesty, responsibility, peace, trust and togetherness. Keywords: Spiritual Intelligence and Emotional Intelligence
